To the mods, please use more judgement when you see reports from Dogie. I believe the mod action here were totally wrong.

As I said above, your concentrating on me when I have absolutely nothing to do with it. If I'd gone to bed a bit earlier and not reported the one post, we'd STILL be waking up to this meta thread because your threads STILL would have been deleted.

A mod still would have attended and done the same due to other reports, or a few hours later a patrolling mod would have seen them and done the same.

Go seek help or life. Stop ruining good things other people tries to do in the Hardware subsection. You suck the life out of it.

Guy

It's likely that other members also reported the thread(s). Not just dogie, they would of been in their right as confirmed by multiple staff members. If this is going to turn into a personal argument between you and dogie maybe you should take it elsewhere. The thread was deleted because it was spam, normally the procedure of dealing with spam is deleting it, not moving it. There's no hard ship in making the thread again, especially since most of the text will be stored in drafts. Of course you lost the votes from before, but you can ask politely if they would vote again. My perception is that theymos was kind for providing you with a alternative.

I see that it's now off site.

Indeed, I will lock this thread soon. I can't prove it of course, but without Dogie's hypocritic complaint, the poll would have continue without interruption.
Why hypocritic ? He posted in one of the poll questions thread. No way to prove it now, since the mod deleted them ...

Multiple people have said now, that's just not true. If I was included within the many people who made a report, or not, or was dead, those threads would have still have been deleted.

ok spamdoolie.. you have good equipment and great support.  don't throw it all away and become a spam monster.  it was enough when you had the giveaway and all hardware posts were yours.. but one poster and all those posts.. that's a bit much.

Spam? like the 6 bitmain threads and 5 dogie threads on the main hardware page?

yes it's all pretty much spam regardless of the manufacturer in question.  just because one does it doesn't mean the rest should follow suit in nefarious behavior.

just because the street is littered in garbage doesn't mean you should throw yours on top of it.

be a good company and lead by example.  in this case it's behaving badly and then complaining about being put in time out.  quite sad for what i thought was a stand up member.

I'll say it for the last time:

- Philip did a technical error in the place he posted the poll questions
- Once the poll questions were answered by forum members, they can't be regarded as spam and they shouldn't have been deleted. It's unbelievable brutal action to delete a thread with answered poll question. It should have been moved instead
- You've used technicalities to shut down a poll you didn't like for some reason

On a personal note, Dogie, I'm truly disappointed by your action and the inabilities to admit an error.
You're trying to hide behind an imaginary crowd of "people who made a report". It's pitiful and pathetic.
I thought you're better than that.

I did not, a forum administrator did. Unfortunately it seems that by the administrator in question not showing their face, you're instead blaming me.... great.

And while I respect that you might be under stress or annoyed by the matters which we can't speak about on the forums, I too am dismayed by you turning this needlessly personal.

"It's not me, it's the moderators". Let's work step by step here.

Do you admit you didn't like Philip poll ? A yes or no reply will do.

1st. You're the youngest donator I've ever seen (by forum join date)
2nd. Having like 5 polls open on a similar subject is probably spam.

Dogie, I'm too tired to try and understand cryptic messages.
I also don't want to keep arguing with you, it's very tiresome.

I kindly request that you'll use better judgment before using "report to moderator" button. Don't be technicalities stickler.

Same goes to the mods, please don't use the delete function carelessly.

I intend to keep finding ways to add life, colors and intetest to Hardware subsection.

So far I did the Legendaries review which other manufacturers and forum members copy and the maunfcturares hardware poll.

Guy

Edit: I want to lock this topic. I'll do it in few hours.
Biffa came up with a nice solution to do the poll externally, unfortunately, it's open to all and not only to forum members.

Edit2: Topic locked.
