Well, from what statement says shareholders get nothing until Amber Trade secures 3 million loan.
All current profits diverted to fund company's current priorities. Not liking the sound of that!
Starting to sound like a ponzi scheme. Taking in new money to pay off older share holders.
Not good business! Does Madoff ring a bell?

Thats what came to my mind. Why if the company made 915K in profit needs to wait on future sell to pay 75K to their share holders.

That isnt clear to me.

Has this ever happened before? This kind of statement?

It could always be an elaborated ponzi lol but If the dev is truthful he could ask his team to publish a video of their team working and clearly stating ambercoin ect...

It might drive the price down because this kind of statement has no place in a company that has "generated" so much profit.

But aniway not to create any fear, im sure since they have been online all this time they will be able to provide more proofs about their company because this statement is truly scary to me.

I think (these are just ideas in my head) Amber Trade buyed so much amberfields and companies, that they have now so-called "cash crisis" - they have  amber, lot of amber, working companies, equipment, but there is no free money. They probably counted that AmberCoin brings more investment. Now Amber Trade must direct all free money to to the amber mining, to the working process, to secure all the obtained ore, mines, equipment, workers etc.
Is it good or bad?
It happens to the production-companies all the time. It is called sometimes over-investment - primary goal is production and expansion, not profit payments to the shareholders. For very young companies this kind of behaviour is acceptable. It means that proffit is higher too, much higher. And only this way young company can obtain its market share on the global market - first and foremost organization, then members. In future, when company established its market share, there will be preditable, stable dividend stream, but much much less in %.
It's just my personal opinion, please hear Dev and Amber-Trade, they explain what is the real situation.

You make it too easy for them to find an explanation. But that wouldn't justify keeping 10% of the funds untouched for the shareholders.

I would prefer seeing some actual footage of the company in action clearly stating they are representing amber coins. All ive seen in here are some picture and I though it was enough until I see this statement anyway. I am still holding ambers I want more from a company that generate 1M of profit quarterly.

I am sure they will explain everything. Sry my early words which may confusing and too much Amber-Trade side. Must talk less.
My only bond to AMBER is I am in top-10 shareholders list. And my next goal is to be in top-5.

good thing is this happens first time.they always on schedules.even its on weekend they worked.
but there is common thing on people who i introduce amber to them(in turkish forum im most active person talking about and giving infos about amber there is couple people now shareholder cause of my informations) always i got same question it could be a ponzi. and now with this they probably gonna say to me, i told you before you see they even couldnt pay their shares on time. so company should at least start to pay shares before 25th so we can continue to advertise people. with 3rd and 4th shares i think ambercoin gonna be more famous on cryptoworld.

in real business this situations is very normal and sometimes we out of the schedule

but in cryptocurrency everything can be more sensitive, gossips, issues ...etc

and i think for those who said ponzy scheme, must learn and read the detail of this company before make conclusions

wherever,as the shareholder whoever we are,.need to bear together with the company  in in joy and sorrow..

i just hope Amber Trade have taken the right decisions on it.

i am only the small shareholder maybe but i'm the most active people in my country

anyway.i'm still here to support AmberCoin..this is only small problem i think

Hi,

Yesterday I mentioned here that I had asked CoinGecko to add Ambercoin to their dashboard.  I got an e-mail today from them asking some questions.  Since I've only been at this for about 2 months, I don't know the answers to his questions and was hoping the group could help.

I had mentioned that there were two coins named Ambercoin, but I don't know too much about the other one.

Here they are:

> Do you know if the other Ambercoin is still active?
> Which came first and why take the same name?

From what I've seen, it would appear the other Amber coin was first, but was DOA and abandoned back in August 2014.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=742928.0

As for the name...since the previous one was abandoned, I'm guessing it was just an obvious choice for Amber Trade Ltd to want the name.

Thanks.

first question is obvious... yes it is still active, as you can see the dev posting multiple times a day.

That's quick dumper, if Amber's Dev comes with good news in the following days, it could help a lot!

If they could state on a maximum delay, it could be even better

Are you talking about this Dev?  Because the person that launched the other thread doesn't look very active?

I think we should give them the time to let us know a bit more about what's happening and when will be paid the dividend, who knows if that's a delay of a few days ?
We don't really have the choice to wait for 'em, except if you want to sold your coin for 5k satos

Sorry but amber dev has always been fast on answering, they must be more then 1 using the account, after all this time they would have already answer. I feel like we caught the scam and they wont show up now.

Dev was online when all this fud started and not a single answer for me its a very bad sign.

If you feel like you caught the scam then sell all your Amber. Quickly.
Or you have done it already? Smiley

For other shareholders I will post some explanations later today that could help to understand the current situation better.
As I can see only one post approaches to correct understanding of what has happened.

And one more thing is clear for me - all the dumpers are completly incompetent in economy.
