I'm not saying the Dev has anything to do with investor confidence - in fact, I doubt he's a decision maker of any kind
in regards to the recent change in dividend payout schedules.

The coin has now lost 50% of it's value and will likely not recover it's previous reputation.
No matter how much chest-thumping and whining goes-on here, the fact remains that expectations
were met in terms of revenue, but, shareholder confidence was absolutely HAMMERED by this last minute
and obviously unexpected decision.

Please notice that divident payments has been postponed, not cancelled, thats a big difference. The price fall, because many of us don't understand this signifficant difference.
I'm sure that after payment, the price will recover.

This is preposterous, and simply not relevant to the discussion, you can't "cancel" agreed-upon dividends.
If a company says it's going to pay a dividend, then "delays" the dividend, in most cases it's criminal/illegal.

"Cancel" here should be understood as "to direct a profit to the development of the company".
The company has the right to take such a decision.

In my opinion, they're still living up to their promise.  The amount of the dividend has been clearly stated for each shareholder, it's just a matter of time.

Great, I love it - WHEN? After they company secures a risky loan? OK WOW, SO CONFIDENT.

My point is, you just can't dump unexpected news on shareholders and expect everything to be ok.
It's not unreasonable for me to feel this way - coin price still dropping, btw.
Great buying opportunity for others. Like I say, if I see my $120 dividend I will likely re-invest.

So, some shareholder(s) (Amber Trade LTD) are actually receiving dividends. That's how a publicly traded "company" works.

A company can pay dividend or not, he can change his mind legally till the last second.
Amber Trade didn't reduced the value, dumpers did.
Why don't you wait for all the facts first?

That's the risk, even on stock markets.. You invest in a company with dividends, but you never know if you'll receive some or not.
Dev's told us they postponed the payment, basically we'll receive them...

Ok, folks. To say I don't owe any Ambercoins or I ever actually liked this coin much.

First: To pay or not to pay dividends is purely shareholders decision. In voting takes part full 100% of shares. (As I understand ambercoin is just of part of Amber Trade Ltd shares).


Second: To get a picture try to find out answers to this questions.

1. If anything or how much Amber Trade Ltd is currently in depth to Lithuanian IRS
2. If anything or how much Amber Trade Ltd is currently in depth for dividends to being in depth to Lithuanian IRS
3. Is company owe any salary to it's employees.

4'th and hardest one to find out: How much or if any outstanding unpaid bills/invoices company has. Meaning bills/invoices that pay to date has breached. (It's common that some invoices go overtime few days or even couple of weeks but start worry if delay is over month or 2).


Here my 2 dimes to make inform decision about Ambercoin and Amber Trade Ltd.
