Now everything works with Windows wallet 3.0.0.3. Staking, maturing, 6-7 connections.
3 hardoded nodes are reachable by IP and FQDN.

Not by me (MAC wallet). Have 4 connections with the nodes above, but it stays at block 586291 (from a hour ago) and does not sync.

Check that wallet is 3.0.0.3 and test with ping/traceroute that the 3 mentioned hardcoded nodes are reachable.
Windows wallet I ran 2 times with admin rights and after second run everything worked.

Version says: 3.0.0.3 Experimental.
the 3 nodes are reachable. I just put them in the config as addnode. Is that right?
3 Connections and still no sync after block 586291 (from 2 hours ago with several restarts)?!?!?

Have you tried removing peers.dat?

It is added automatically.
But you can try to add it to .conf as well.
I am not sure DNS servers are all updated.
These nodes are coded as FQDN.

Yes, did not help.
I just started from scratch and download the whole chain again. Let's see what happen at the block above.

Edit: Same issue with a clean (new) download: 16 connections (without a conf file or adding nodes) and it stuck at block 28k.

There are 3,000 blocks until 7% POS reward.
7% POS will start at block #590001.
Now it is still 25%.

johnnysof: 28k only? It worked for now or not? Seems like file permissions or something...
I have repaired MBP in my hands which needs to be tested. Cleaninstalled OSX Maverick, no updates from AppStore, AmberCoin wallet syncing block 146k and going. If somebody needs, I can test the Mac wallet with updates installed etc. Next step is cleaninstall El Capitan. Can test wallet too.
But I have no previous wallet stuff here to test upgrade.

Same here, wallet stuck at block 585595 with 2-7 connections dwindling.

Yesterday night wallet 3.0.0.3 worked just fine and was fully synced and staking when i closed it.

Also last 6 transactions are not showing in block explorer.

Any tips how to solve this?

The AmberCoin is coming back, stronger than ever!

EDIT : 0.8 BTC over 10k satos in Buy Support

Not only that, a big difference in available coin on the market. Around 50k coins only, people are not selling they are trying to become shareholders.

Dev, why don't you put some of the round 8 coins on the exchanges (e.g. there is nothing on c-cex).

There is ~7btc to round #8 price.
We'll put some Amber on exchanges when price gets closer to current round's price.

i think Amber will get closer to current round price after we receive dividends

btw about new wallet all working fine

and no problem at all ;16 active connections, same as before

I have 26 active connections and my wallet appears to be working correctly.  Last staked about 90 minutes ago.

However, I have noted before the POW difficulty drops below 1 from time to time which seems a little odd.  I assumed its because miners dropped off because pools are down or they are waiting for the dust to settle from the change.

After a wallet restart is syncing again. Currently on block 185k.
Strange is that the wallet worked during the night and just stopped syncing at block 586291?!?
I did not change anything on the computer nor an apple update was installed (MAC, El Capitan, all updates)!?!?
Very strange behavior.
I hope it will not stop again at the same block (586291) after several hours downloading the blockchain...

Edit: Very strange. Just put my backup from yesterday (before the wallet update) and sync worked fine. Is up to date now and I could stake a block. Seems to work again.
I have the feeling while staking the wallet messed up something with the blockchain previously and could not catch up again.

Yes, stuck at that block too.

I'm re-downloading the fresh blockchain from scratch. I'm at 84% now. I will report what happens next.

EDIT
Okay, seems to be working now. Fully synced, only last three stakes didn't get confirmed.

So for all who are stuck just start from scratch, deleting from ambercoin dir all except wallet.dat and make sure you have working nodes in your .conf file.
