There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

sometimes we need to understand if people sold their coins because they need money

they held for long time and willing not to trade and spent the money for Amber

and that why dumping still continue

its better if the dev can relieve us by setting aside a little money from dividends/profits to pay us...just need a little not much

LOL thats not how buisness works.   Besidse its a good way to weed out the weak hands and reward the strong....  Soo close to my buying price.    Dump alittle more to 3300 and im an instant shareholder.....C:)

No,  I just want in.  This coin is something special so im a bit excited that I might actually have a chance at becoming a shareholder without spending more then i can afford to at the moment.  Thats all.  The value of the coin shouldnt matter at all to you if you are a strong hand and a shareholder since you are gonna hold reguardless of coin value.   You get paid your dividens reguardless of market value.

Dev i also think the company should make an announcement and update us on situation.
If company care its investors should show interest.

bump....
AmberDev, please comment on the dividend and profit discussion.

It appears that AmberDev has been paying dividends with the sale of pre-mined Amber COINS (rounds 1-5).
Round 6 will never sell, the price is almost 5x the "ask" price for AMBER.
The coin is pre-mined at almost 90%, so, look for AmberDev to drastically reduce the price for Amber Coins in round 6 to stay competitive.

I contend that dividends actually have nothing to do with Amber Trade LTD's profit whatsoever.
It would be great if AmberDev would comment and refute this contention with documented proof(?)
That would stabilize the coin and I would then re-invest.
Until then, I'm out.

From the start there were constantly various doubts. But that never stopped the company in achieving its goals. It will not stop us this time as well.

Brief answers on questions above:
- Dividends are being paid only out of profits of the company;
- The price of the 6th round will not be changed.

As it was said earlier, the dividends for the third quarter will be paid anyway. But it should be clear that the dividends will be paid to ALL shareholders simultaneously. I.e. the actual payment will not be just 72k but full 914k.

In this meaning all the shareholders are equal. The company is not something abstract, it is a few large investors who are exactly like you expect to receive their dividends. And they will get dividends, just like you will.

The only difference is they know exactly why it worth to wait their dividends instead of receive it immediately.
Tomorrow we will try to explain this vision to other shareholders.

There are no fundamental reasons for such a low price which we see now.
In fact, a dump of 3-5 shareholders who incorrectly interpreted the information about the delay in the payment of dividends led to AmberCoin price falling.

In today's world, in order to stay in one place you need to walk forward, but in order to move forward you need to run forward. And Amber Trade LTD company is confidently moving forward.

P.S. The company is proud of those 100+ shareholders who remains calm and not give in to artificial panic.
We are ready to continue to make any possible efforts for their prosperity.

I want to thank you for at least making a statement.  You should understand that when the price falls as much as the prince of AMBER has fallen and as quickly as it has fallen people are going to be nervous about their money.  I can understand those who dumped, although I am not sure it was a wise move.  The problem now is that the market will not calm down until the dividends are actually paid.  Hopefully that will be soon and we investors can resume buying and accumulating AMBER.

Man, your recurrent complains are really annoying now. We already told you good-bye.  Roll Eyes

So true, legit questions are very annoying.

AmberDev provided an explanation, with no documented proof of funds transfer from Amber Trade LTD to Amber Coin the crypto.
I suppose I could track down my last dividend payment - but, I'll bet I won't like the answer.
What I should see is a large deposit into the "payouts" account (BTC), and several withdrawls right around the time of last payout.
Check for yourself - don't just blindly believe:)

Price keeps dropping, no sales of Round 6.
As of 5:08 PST today,  marketcap has been reduced to $98,626 from approx. $340,000 USD on Aug 14th.
Ouch.....

Sorry...
Your complaints are out of fear and panic. So they are not legitimate at all. And fear is contagious, look at the results now.

Why don't you try this and you will feel better  Grin

People still have hope here?  Im sorry but this looked like an elaborated ponzi since the start.

The only reason the dev is still sticking around is because he is waiting for  both exchanges to build up buy support and maximise his profit by selling as most coins as possible.

Dev ignored the fact that he could have provided the required proofs of amber business which he kept on ignoring.

Upload a video, where we see people's face working on the field if this is a real company!

But its not and they won't risk this kind of exposure, an elaborated ponzi thats all. im out.

ya,.i can understand if you out from here  Wink

They knew they scare new (and even some of the old) investors away with not paying /delaying the dividend.
Look, if they wanted people to invest heavly into the company the dividend payment ontime was crucial to build trust.
People would buy AMBER now like crazy, old investors (re-investment of the dividend) and new investors!

Does it make any sense for AMBER when the party is over before it even started ?

if this were true, they would have been selling over the past few weeks, but they have not. In fact every buy order at and above 4k was sold into by ME and sometimes they sat there on the exchange for hours before i was able to get in front of a computer and snatch them.

That combined with the fact that the dev has not disappeared points to Ambercoin being the real deal.  Like I said we will know soon enough, but at this point it appears there is a greater than 50% chance that Amber is not a scam.

And again I am owed big dividends so I want Amber to be real as much as anyone here!

Amber trade gains nothing by delaying payments... It would be hugely counterintuitive to delay payments or quote a high profit. Paying out a q1 like profit would allow them to rake in more, thus further the ponzi.  Thanks dumpers for the cheap coins, ~70,000+ coins @ 4000 has been a treat. I'll be thinking of you while blowing your btc in 3 months  Cheesy

I second that - if dividends go out and I see some significant movement with the sale of round 6, I will likely move my BTC back with Amber.
I too am owed a small dividend ($120 USD) - I would love to be wrong about this, but, I say it's too much of a coincidence
that the dividend payout now exceeds the sales of rounds 1 thru 5.

Dev is online right now, Ive been trolling enough to get my shares of Amber.

To think about this, the dev is too easy to trace if at some point this turns out to be a scam, I doubt they would risk going trough all this trouble to pay out in dividends the equivalent of what they gathered from the ICOs. In fact they wouldn't have earned anything if they werent really generating profit from Amber operations.
