Ambercoin got a rival by name
they have name Ambercoin too,but different in spec and features
it will have bad impact for future,even if Ambercoin get attentions
do you consider to change the name of Ambercoin?,...eg : Ambershares maybe

It is not a rival. This coin is dead since September 2014. Our AmberCoin plan has started earlier than this "rival by name". And when the time has come we decided not to change our coin's name. As for AmberShares - this is possible but not in the nearest future. |

How do I make an AMBER Address using this qt? I've only had online wallets using coinbase, blockchain etc.

It is not a rival. This coin is dead since September 2014. Our AmberCoin plan has started earlier than this "rival by name". And when the time has come we decided not to change our coin's name. As for AmberShares - this is possible but not in the nearest future. dead since sept 2014? but i saw still traded in btc-market.org |

How do I make an AMBER Address using this qt? I've only had online wallets using coinbase, blockchain etc.
1. Download one of the wallets (source, Win or Mac) 2. Run it and wait until it is synced. 3. Move your coins into your wallet. 4. Send us new wallet address to keep an information updated. 5. Enjoy  |

Your going to need 10k Ambercoin to get PoS right? Correct me if I am wrong, holding 10k for PoS would be a bummer as I only currently have 86.45

There is no matter for POS staking if the wallet is registered or not. ----- Yes, You must have over 10k to get PoS. AND You can register this "over-10k-wallet" AND get dividends. Dev currently working with PoS wallet, there may be some changes from Amber-Trade company and/or mathematical/security reasons, it's not just Dev's personal hobby project like 99% other coins  , but I think the 10k limit stays. Think about AmberCoin as retirement plan, not just cryptocoin game. I personally recommend not to sell, buy up to 10 k minimum. |

Yes. But company will not change the rules that were declared at the very beginning. We will NEVER sell any coins (shares) on the market without prior announcement. We will sell some amount of AmberCoin from the coins that have remained from round #1 when the price on exchange exceeds 0.02$ Once it happens we will do an announcement with amount, sell price and time when it starts. |

Amber Trade LTD has closed one of its quarries In March of 2015 Amber Trade LTD has closed one of its quarries for industrial mining. Further, company’s staff has been mining remaining amber in manual mode during 2 months.
Now this quarry is completely worked out. Company has started measures to restore the environment. After a while there will be planted young forest. That is how full cycle of amber mining looks like. Amber Trade LTD cares about the environment unlike the black miners does.
