Hello Amber community! I just spent about an hour reading the OP, everything on the website and nearly every page of this thread and after all of that I am proud to say that I am an official shareholder! Honestly, if I had learned about Amber a few months ago I would have bought then, and I'm pretty sure that if more people knew about Amber, more people would invest. Actually, this coin is about as much of a no brainer as I have ever seen in crypto. Here is an idea for the dev.... I also hold Viral, and honestly you might consider buying the 4 btc package and having Adam blast out about this coin through the twitter nodes (the 4 btc package includes a link). Right now there are over 200,000 followers that would read the message and I'm pretty sure many of them will jump on board, especially when they learn that they will be paid out dividends in btc. Just a thought, take it or leave it. Anyway, I am in the process of downloading a wallet and will pm you with my address as soon as I get everything set up. Super excited to be a part of this amazing project!!! ps-please don't call me a shill for Viral, I just bought a few btc worth of Amber and I genuinely think the only reason more people don't own Amber is because they don't know about it. Ok, that's all I have to say Thanks. Will consider about twitter. Waiting for your address

I do have one question....
At the current price, one can get 10k Ambercoins for approximately 1 btc. That means 10k Ambercoins, and hence dividends, are still accessible to most average Joe traders. However, in the coming months if the price were to go up to 50k satoshis, it would cost 5 btc to get 10k Ambercoins and if/when the price goes to 100k satoshis it would cost 10 btc to get 10k Ambercoins.
Most average joe traders don't have 5, much less 10 btc to play with so at that point I'm just wondering if people might be discouraged from investing? Afterall, why would i want to spend 4 btc on Ambercoins if I will only end up with 4000 coins meaning I won't get dividends.
In other words I am just thinking of the future here, maybe if the price gets too high people will lose incentive for investing because with too high a price, obtaining 10k coins will become impossible for most investors?
Considering the vast majority of this coin comes directly from the company and is dictated by their price... I wouldn't expect a 400% increase in price in a few months... could be wrong there. Unless bitcoin bottoms out under $100, I wouldn't expect 50k coins for a while.

There are 49 million coins, they won't be sold out for a long time . When they are finally sold out, yyou will have to buy at market prices which of course will depend on how much the company is paying shareholders in dividends.

Yeah, I love how the "rules" keep changing as the coin price goes up. POS interest per year : 25% , is this going to be changed?
Yes. POS interest is going to be changed according to earlier announced table. Annual POS stakes will be the following: 1- st year: 10% 2-nd year: 3% 3-rd year: 0.5% 4-th year: 0.5% 5-th year: 0.5% 6-th year: 0.5% 7-th year: 0.5%At this time we are not satisfied with a results of coin working with 10k limit. As a plan B (if we will not be able to make all working with 10k limit) we consider a simple change POS stakes without 10k limit. We have not done it yet because don't want to make 2 hardforks. But anyway POS stakes will be changed. I love plan B, it will be more robust. In fact, it has little chance for the wallets with less than 10k Amber to mine a block.

here's a link to the announced change in early may https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=944408.msg11309758#msg11309758 if you scroll a few pages you'll see there were over 2 million amber were still for sale at 8200 satoshi, and market price was 4500-5000 at that time. here a link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=944408.msg11423620#msg11423620 to 2 weeks later about the next wallet, clearly stating the temporary 25% pos then to follow the exact same schedule posted 2 weeks prior and in op. coin was 6500-7000 satoshi then, with a lot to sell. just be thankful for the extra coins, the change has been in our favor since we get 2.5x the stake. i'm in no rush for a new wallet and only 10%. take your time dev

I'm curious why some people believe that they can earn by buying coins with premine? Maybe it's primitive instincts makes us believe in miracles and the magic of network marketing Let's look realistically and that we will see http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/views/filter-non-mineable/beginners may not pay attention to these numbers, but I think that in the near future they will understand what I mean

This is not a coin. It's a share. Please read the OP before posting some serious nonsense.

For the last time, I am gonna try.
This is not a COIN. This has no idealistic purposes like FREEING THE WORLD.
The only purpose of this "coin" is to raise funds for the AmberTrade company's new projects and offering shareholder status in return. Is this so hard to understand? There will never me merchants that accepts Amber. They could have gone to stock market but instead decided to use decentralized public offering. They are not selling "coins" they are selling shares of their company and in return they are using the money they earn on new, more profitable projects and than they share the profit with those who bought. OMG. 10 same sentences. I hope you understand. LOL.
