1)  I read this entire thread.  Who else assumes we are watching Pirate's wallet here?

2)  BitcoinMax:  $~150k coins?    + private investors (I heard of 2x 25k coin private + a bunch of 5k 5k 5k 5k 5k 5k ones.  who knows what this adds up to)  + BurtW Pirate bonds + other pirate bonds... are we to think he had 500k coins AFTER all the interest he paid out?  He must have scammed more, when the faucet was cut off it looks like he was owing around $50k USD per day in interest? maybe moar?  Seems like it's at the top end of my early estimates:  if he had 500k coins left after the 1/2 yr of interest, he could have had ~ 1M btc on the books in loans, ~70k/wk in headshot interest payments, it makes sense for him to cut it off now as there is no way he's getting that kind of investment or quelling that kind of withdraws each week.

Just starting to think it's a $10M Ponzi, not a $1M one.

The movements of July 17 were at the time unprecedented and would be an outlier, but have also been claimed by pirate himself.

If 1DkyBEK grows at a similar pace in the upcoming months, or eclipses the height of its former glory, the premise of this whole thread has been falsified and I was wrong.

I don't see how pirate could make the supposed 10%/week will the coin sitting in this address.
Even if he's running a ponzi, it would only make sense if the total deposits are a lot bigger than this address balance (which I doubt, but yeah still plausible).

As for the observed transactions, it would also make sense if it was mtgox. Someone bought a lot of coins during the drop, and cashed them out, forcing mtgox to refill the hot wallet.
The best way to check (without MagicalTux confirmation) would be to correlate it to the ask side of their orderbook (supposing it represent a stable % of all btc deposits, which is not perfect, but should still be ok).

Anyway we should soon have the confirmation that it's not pirate stack. Hopefully this shitstorm will be settled in a few weeks

What is the point of this? As of now, there are 18 different confirmed addresses the 20k transfers to, making small (relatively) deposits on the way. What is going on?

Well, that's interesting.
I'm not an expert on blockchain transactions and mixing, would be nice to have someone with such knowledge try to understand what's the purpose of these transactions.
I'm still not convinced that shuffling around coin between address is an effective way to launder coins. There will be (are ?) tools to do nice graph analysis on the blockchain which should be able to defeat that.

No necessarily. Pirate is still known to co-owns GPUMAX, which could cater for some of the movement. It is furthermore possible that this wallet actually belongs to Silk Road and may even be part of the same conglomerate (Pirate, Dread Pirate Roberts,..?)

that kid from Carnegie Mellon's article I read about SR estimated 22M USD in sales with about $1.5M in yearly profits at current monthly multiples from a few months ago.  1DkyBEK was built this year to over 600k BTC.  doesn't seem like any other entity makes sense.  This autopsy on this scam is gonna prove it's much bigger than we first thought in early-mid august.

Yes.  Absolutely.  I just got more space so its about to begin building the updated data.  All you would do is take that transaction hash, put it in the search bar and select "Transaction.  From there, traverse up the relationships (through received -> redeemed -> owned -> owner).  From there, use this high-level abstraction to determine where the money went.  (This is one way).  You can also traverse the low-level block chain, get to the address that redeemed it, then see if that address has been linked to others.  Sorry, I hope this makes sense.
