If he plans on making money in illegitimate ways, why not include the ponzi?

Which is why I expect the SR ops to run with all the money. Just like Tony; Just like Pirate.

Cash out now or get busted later.

This is a fake screenshot (firebugged / photoshopped).

No, no it isn't.  You're welcome to all the anecdotal evidence you want pointing to the contrary though.  It's not going to change the fact that 1Dky is/was a SR storage address.

Anecdotal evidence? You asked what you could do to prove.

Take your screen shot of that 1 BTC deposit on Aug 6. Now take the transaction you were looking at when you mocked up that screenshot.

Prove that you control any of the other addresses involved in that transaction.

1AbWGoMfZaMtCiCTN92Lv7zU9L3TojmYgo
or the change address
16Wc6UL5RsR9VurTKExXCjcTWEyKqFCDxU

You can't prove you control those with a screenshot. You have to announce ahead of time how much you will send and to which address, and it must come from one of those addresses.

Can you do that? 25 BTC says you can't. Is that enough for your trouble?

13aZs is my current SR address.  If I refund from there it will go to whatever address I specify.  I have no direct control of this address short of what SR allows.

Here, this should be easier.

Specify to which address you will "refund" some of the 14 BTC and how much. Then do it.

25 BTC says you can't.

I'll "refund" half of that 14BTC held at 13aZs to the first address you listed that was included in the referenced transaction

Transaction sent.  The sending address from SR to 1KVc5 does not appear to be 13aZs, but has first bits of 12vKPJ.    I'm interested to see how/when the coins at 13aZs are handled now.

Nice try. Of course it doesn't come from 13aZs, because that's not your address!

I said you have to send a transaction from 1KVc5. That would prove its yours, and it should be yours since you showed a 1BTC deposit in your wallet, and that was one of the inputs for that 1BTC deposit to 13aZs!

I can make a withdrawal to 1KVc5 as well. Now I feel bad that you just lost control of 7 BTC.

EDIT: if 1KVc5 is actually your address, as your screenshot implied, that 7 BTC should be in your wallet now.

Out of curiosity, with the Satoshi client how do you force a payment to be sent from one specific address instead of from a random one in your wallet?

You can't. What you've to do to prove ownership of an address is signing a message with that private key, so anybody could verify it.

I made a withdrawal from SR myself just the other day, and posted the address here. That's the easy part.

Now I (or someone) will have to find the time to compile znort's tool and do the taint analysis.

dropt didn't do that. He firebugged a screenshot. (I could be wrong here. up to him to prove it.)

I'm interested in actual truth about 1Dky. not endless banter "its pirate!" or "its SR!". and not fake screenshots.

New withdrawals no longer trace back to 1Dky, since they stopped using that address. It appears their withdrawal hot wallet is filled with approx 50k worth of deposits every day.

It's a damn shame you didn't do so before SR stopped using 1Dky. I am a happy man, because I know for a fact that I wasn't lying to myself, and it would be pretty hard for dooglus to lie to me because the payments are embedded in the blockchain for all eternity.

Version 0.7 of the Satoshi client allows Raw Transactions, so you could send from a specific address. But I don't know how to do that, maybe someone else does.

You know, I had to google what firebugging even is and it strikes me as really odd that you think I have some sort of motive or reason to generate a bunch of "firebugged" screen shots to prove/disprove some BS on this forum.

1KVc5 is one of my recipient addresses, that 7BTC is safe in my wallet.  Not only that, but I signed a message just for you with that address.  You say you want to get the truth, it's here dangling in front of your face.  Others have also provided suggestive evidence pointing to the exact same conclusion while there's little (if any) evidence indicating the contrary.

Maybe I should spend the time to update my client to see if they've allowed raw transactions as Dabs suggests and start harassing you for that 25 BTC.  Maybe I should just send the whole balance of that wallet to myself as a final nail in the coffin too.

Here's more analysis on 1Dky.

First, here's my mtgox green address withdrawal of 0.4 BTC.
Code:
http://blockchain.info/tx-index/27088624/e7ada838ad28df4921ee7a6ac27981b721687f286ed6fa845c74ac6b924331e4

1BYhyPtxbnU59NDahJ7DVd8RnwNH1V5D1N 0.4 BTC

1LNWw6yCxkUmkhArb2Nf2MPw6vG7u5WG7q is MtGox's green address.

New withdrawals no longer trace back to 1Dky, since they stopped using that address. It appears their withdrawal hot wallet is filled with approx 50k worth of deposits every day.

Regardless of where new SR deposits are going, the coins from 1Dky had to go somewhere.

Here's my SR withdrawal of 0.6 BTC on Sep 21. Traces back to 1Dky (this still wouldn't have convinced me without dropt's proof of deposit).

Thank you for the proof. It definitely cost me (should've only bet 10!), but at least I'm glad to have satisfied, to my own personal standards, who controls 1DKy.

Agreed. The timing of the rise and fall of 1Dky is still quite curious. (Especially the wind down.)

Has SilkRoad simply adopted a "new" 1DkyBEK-type address, or have they changed their tumbling/cleaning scheme completely?

Also: When did GPUMax first start laundering? (Was SilkRoad cleaning profits through GPUMax?)

I know, my response was pretty much a knee-jerk reaction to your posts.  Since you're still on the hunt, I should add that all of those withdrawals from 13aZs are lump sums when the coins were not 'distributed' in that fashion on my end.  Seems as though it holds them in the depositing address until the lump some is spent or swept at pre-determined intervals

1)  this is the god damn pirate wallet, 90%+ confidence.

2)  built this year, starting right when his scam was ramping up

3) died when the scam died

4)  rule out Gox / Silk Road, and it's only Pirate left:
4a)   SR does 22M in business per year, profits about 1M, and is likely quickly converted to USD
4b)  Gox isn't that stupid, wouldn't build a 500kBTC wallet (that's 5% of ALL btc) and this is not how a Gox cold storage wallet would look (why is it built in weekly / monthly regular headshots? only during this yr?  ending with a super-launder?)

It's Trendon

Re. 4a) This doesn't need to be SR's profits.  It's just the BTC they're currently holding.  Customers deposit BTC at SR then trade them with sellers.  While the BTC are on the site, they need to keep them safe.  Hence the use of this offline wallet.  Since the address became public knowledge they've split the contents up into several smaller addresses to avoid scrutiny.

Re. the other points, that's useless circumstantial evidence and doesn't prove anything.

It's SR.

Evidence is compelling.

Besides, if Pirate kept his booty in bitcoin, he likely wouldn't have more than 100,000ish; most of his deposits were imaginary.
