I've got a few bitcoin but not a lot so i would probably hold at 1k after a few minutes of consideration

It would suck if climate change raises the sea enough to destroy all these amazing little islands that are out of nowhere. I guess french polynessia will be good for our entire lifetimes. My dream is becoming a BTCllonaire and retiring there. |

If bitcoin goes to $1000 but less than $2000 ; I will exchange a few BTC to buy something that I need.
If bitcoin goes to $2000 but less than $3000 ; I will exchange 10 % of my portfolio to dollar and wait BTC price to decrease.
If bitcoin goes to $3000 but less than $4000 ; I will exchange 30 % of my portfolio to dollar and close my mortgage.
If bitcoin goes to $4000 ; I will exchange 50 % of my portfolio to dollar and sell also my LTC as well to convert BTC. Then wait until BTC price back to $ 2000.

I am not waiting for $1000 price, life is too short. sometimes in life you have to be patient don't forget btc has been $1200 plus, over a year ago without too many cliches not all about price for sure but helps move everything forward and more liquidity, better for miners too, securing network put it this way. we will see $1000 + this year again, in fact i expect it to stabilise 900 - 1200 range, before end of year anyone immersed in bitcoin and news cannot fail to see how much positivity there is in bitcoin and so much good news hasn't been reflected in price. wait and see, autumn time |

Regulations are coming that does not mean it can't rise quite the opposite once regulated banks will be allowing transactions and make it easier for business etc not sure this is what we want but it is what is coming. If Bitcoin goes to $1000 i would sell some of course and take a nice break but if it was not an obvious pump then i would keep holding and i am not quite sure to what level i would hold suppose i will see when i get there. |

QFT same as you'll curse yourself for selling at 1,200 when btc hits 21,000 $ Same as you'll curse yourself for selling at 21,000 $ when btc hits 400,000$ each. And so on. |

It would be good to start getting an idea and keep up to date with what is going on if you have even a half decent amount of coins, lets say it does go to 1000+ over the next few months but that is because of news you have yet to realize then you sell 70% of your coins but it keeps rising because it is not just a everyday pump but natural rise. I would be pissed if i never done my due diligence and that happened. OP if it goes to 1000 as stated above it would come down to why it went to 1000  |

The truth is majority of bitcoin holders are now fixated on some really high price (for our current standards, anyway) - in this case we are waiting for $1000. It may be in the long run the best course of action but I feel that we are missing something by doing so. Do not be afraid of selling or buying if you think that price is right, in the future price will be probably rise... But you will be angry when you sell at $1000 when price will reach $2000 and so on just as Beliathon said. |

For something like that, do what we have done as usual, little to invest beyond this is something that is very possible, be gold, property, other investments in the environment bitcoin I think everything can be possible.

I have my price at which I'll sell (say $333,333) and even if it goes to $10,000,000 each, I won't regret it. Just as I heard of bitcoin in 2012/early 2013, when bitcoin was under 100, and I thought it would never work. Sure, I could've made quite a bit already if I bought in at that time, but I'm not angry at all, and I don't have any regrets, because I feel that at the time, based on my knowledge, I made the correct decision in not buying in. Sure, I kind of wish I'm already a multi-decamillionaire from bitcoin, but instead of being angry, I think about how to make the most of the situation now. And if selling at $333,333 is too early, well, I'll have enough money anyway. |
