Anyway, there are people holding thousands of coins and hoping for the same outcome, which will make it extremely hard for small fish like us to profit.
They'll be dumping all the way to $1000.

That can only be a good thing ultimately. The less enormous holders there are, the healthier the whole scene becomes. It's worth a few market hiccups if things are spread around.

Of course the alternative is that even more goes into fewer strong hands. As long as things keep on circulating it should pan out in the end.

Bitcoin's miner reward wil be 0.4 BTC in the next 22 years! Might be some other altcoins might take the market till then! Better use altcoin section more frequently so that you can say "I was an early miner" in the future with proudness Grin

Has absolutely nothing to do with the question though does it?

Nobody asked what would you do if another coin takes the market by then! Now you could have answered if bitcoin goes to $1000 I will sell enough to by some miners and then wade threw the garbage to find the next big crypto with my newly found profit from selling bitcoin at $1000.

You keep bumping your post count with meaningless posts you will have an unhappy day Smiley

To answer the question OP I will be selling a fair few of my coins if we get going on the way to $1000 but so many are also going to be dumping at that price just hope I can get in sooner so then rebuy on the dip that will happen.

I was not bumping to increase my post count! This was just a conversation with Amph and Lorenzo and i forgot to quote it!

I meant to say that after 22 years the miner fee would be 0.4 BTC and either Bitcoin would be very expensive or many people would leave bitcoin when it has reached so less reward and switch to some altcoin! I have already answered my question on this thread so I don't need to answer that question!

Please read some pages before you accuse me of spamming even though not quoting was my mistake!

I always hope that bitcoin value will increase. Now i'm saving my bitcoin, but when its value down to under $150, i will sold all of my bitcoin to USD and wait until its value increase again. I do it to prevent from a huge lose

The price of bitcoin surely raise and it wont go under $150 because our bitcoin is going to be mainstream so people will use it. This is one of the best digital payment and the safest in this world I dont think it will going back to $150

agreed with you i too don't think the price will go back to under $150, as bitcoin getting more big merchant and adoption, at the moment public awerness is rising to use it as safest and fastest payment method. the future about it very bright.

True, this is the best investment in the world for this time and I think no one can compared to bitcoin for the mean time. We need to make use of this moment to get something bigger. Right the future is ahead on us

It's been dropping under $1200, $1100, $1000, $900, $800, $700, $600, $500, $400, $300, and $200... It could go under $150 if the bear trend continues. Most of the price decrease happened despite more merchants choosing to accept BTC and more interest coming from governments/Wall Street. Sad

I dont really own bitcoin. But I plan to buy some now Smiley
If I have boughten 10 BTc for 2000$ and the price went up to 1000$ per Bitcoin, I will sell them and get 5x profit! Grin

Hmmm.. You mean $200 right?  Roll Eyes

He probably means that if he buys 10 BTC for a total of $2,000 (or $200 per coin). Then when the price goes up to $1,000 per coin, the total value of his coins would be $5,000 (i.e. 5x profit).

If(when) bitcoin gets to that number, if it's hyped like all the hypes so far, i would just dump everything and wouldn't look back for some time.
After that, its time to buy bitcoin related businesses, services, websites and alike, because their value increases with the value, and new audience and clients, and luckily; it usually lags behind the
price for some time, giving an incredible opportunity to earn even more.
Rinse and repeat is then available after a long period...

I am not greedy or anything, but if it hit $1000 I would consider it a sign.
A sign that the time has come to create another all times high.
So I will wait a bit more and see what happens.

The last time it it $1K, I didn't sell any of my coins. I thought it might go all the way up to $10K. It was such a shitty decision. However, if it hits the $1K mark once again, I am offloading half of my coins.  Grin

That why we all love bitcoin, every one play's a part. If it hits 1k I did sell half of my bitcoin for sure and hold on the rest maybe for extra ticks Smiley

Yes if it drop from $1200 it will has a chance to raise up again to $1200 or even more because the trend now is going up and bitcoin will start to the moon soon enough after some period of time. We just need to be patience to have a skyrocketing. Why should the price decrease when so many people are accepting bitcoin as their payment for now?

It's easy to say this now, but if the price suddenly shot up or gradually creeped up to 1000 dollars would you really cash out or would you be tempted to hold because it could keep going. I know 1k is essentially just an arbitrary number, but I do think it will go there again and is a worthy price for btc. I think we might have to wait a while for it and adoption to come along, but if bitcoin can get adopted by certain huge industries that can benefit from it I think bitcoin could be worth several thousands in the future.

Nothing, keep on holding. The key to bitcoin is to treat it like cash. Hopefully there will be a day where we won't have to dump our BTC in order to spend it.

Dont keep on holding it because the price is up and down. Better to get some profit rather than lose some btc or even didnt get anything from it. Gain from it not lose to it
