There is now an official release date! Feb 19th, 10pm EST. Check the altcoin calendar for easy conversion to your own time zome. https://www.altcoincalendar.info/coins/1340-SUP (note, might take a couple hours before it's active) Wallets and a CPU miner will be provided a day early, but will be put into a state so that it won't sync until the launch happens (ie, checkpoint with blocks being kept secret until release). This method worked very well for my last coin release, Fractalcoin, and makes launching a trivial activity as all that must be done is a node brought online. There will be no warm-up period and it will be full rewards starting from block 16. (up until block 16 will be premined, block 1 is 1,000 coins, 2-16 is 0 reward to ensure integrity of checkpoint security for launching)

Unless I can start my miner in the morning and when my wallet syncs, it'll automatically start mining. Oops, I forgot that there isn't a GPU miner, awesome! Now I know my house won't burn down and I have a chance at the low diff blocks. If I make the wallet start mining on my 4 threads, 5 hours before the node is brought online, will my cpu be mining? Or will it only start mining when the node is brought online? Because I don't want to stress my computer for nothing.

Though you might want to setup your miner to poll for a working coin daemon more often than every 30 seconds as it does by default

Seems you're missing endian.h.. which is common for windows. I'll fix this properly later tonight, but for now try putting #ifndef htobe32 #define htobe32(x) ((u_int32_t)htonl((u_int32_t)(x))) #endif
at the top of pluck.c
