The linux wallet runs smoothly. Had same problem with win version.
Thank you, you are the first to report back on the Linux version. The Mac version seems to work fine as well. I'm running a windows wallet which I've solo mined coin into hitting a few blocks. I also upgraded to the latest wallet and staking good.

Whoever mines the block which ends up containing your transaction will get its fee.

Thanks for your help, it's refreshing to have a dev who reacts and tries to help in the way you have done

My wallet keeps on crashing on start up, any one else got this problem??
I get a visual c++ fault, but on the background it's syncing...
I had a similar problem - I'm on Win 7 I removed the client and re-installed then re-started the computer and it was fine Sorry, a bit too soon. Just tried to solo mine against the wallet and the problem came back 1. I know it's stating the obvious but try rebooting, since the stdc++ library is probably in memory. 2. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Bitz wallet. 3. Lastly, delete everything in AppData except wallet.dat and re-install. Let me know if that works Thanks for the fast response. I like this coin and have a good feeling about it. Tried all the above and the wallet runs fine until I try to solo mine against it. Don't know about the 1.0.0 version as I didn't get that wallet. Curiously enough if I don't clear the error window off the wallet continues to synch and my miner runs fine against it in the background locally and accross my local LAN. Haven't got a block yet so I don't know if the back-end transaction processes work yet or if it's really mining. We are still looking into it, you are the only one that has reported this but then again I don't know how many are running the wallet. I am running Mac and the other dev team member is running Windows, we are trying to figure it out. I still got a visual c++ fault when i start up the wallet It says: This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information. The wallet keeps on syncing on the background and i can solomine and even got some blocks, but i can't use you the wallet. So, the only thing i can do is watch at the amount of blitz i have Hope we get a fix soon... EDIT: I'm using windows 7 ultimate

We may have an idea what is causing problems. After we pass block 70k, there will be some more testing on all the platforms.

May'be this will help: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/18361026/runtime-error-for-qt-applicationthe fix is add a folder platform into the location of your application executable and into that copy qwindows.dll from the loaction 5.1.0-rc2\mingw48_32\plugins\platforms of your QT installation.

Yep, the PoW is until 100,000 - that was the point of the fork, there was a "mis-code" in the 1.0.0 version and no end to the PoW. You can still mine for a while. We chose to fork now to get the infrastructure running stable as soon as possible after we fixed the initial problem. The hard fork seems to have worked, there are 15+ connections on the version 1.0.1 chain and only 3 on the version 1.0.0 chain.

It appears that we have forked at block 70,000. We have done some testing and sent some coins between C-Cex, YoBit, AlcurEX and some different wallets and we are all on the same chain so happy days. We will keep and eye on it for a while.
Does anyone have any issues?

With regards to exchanges; I think Bittrex is a good idea but they will not automatically add a coin. This is the reply I got from Bittrex: "Thanks for the request. Our policy is to not comment on whether we will launch coins but we mainly add coins due to community demand. We gauge demand based off of tweets, hash power, length of bitcointalk thread, volume on other exchanges, etc. Follow us on twitter @bittrexexchange and tweet about how much you like this coin and Bittrex. We respond to creative and insightful posts to help market your favorite coins and Bittrex. I'd also consider coming to our irc channel #bittrex on irc.freenode.net and do some guerrilla marketing. The traders there can help you gain exposure for your coin." So, as we have only received 500 BITZ and 0.02 BTC in support so far I can not pay 3 BTC to get BITZ listed on Bittrex so I suggest that anyone holding more than a a few coins make the effort to lobby Bittrex. In the mean time I have requested that BITZ is listed at Lazy Coins ( https://lazycoins.com/) and I am hoping that since they are a London, UK based exchange and we are based in London they may support local initiative. Once again, anyone holding BITZ may benefit from lobbying them as well on Twitter ( https://twitter.com/LazyCoins). I have also requested that BITZ is added to Banx.io ( https://www.banx.io/) and as above, community support will get more exposure which in turn will get BITZ more widely traded and the value of your BITZ will increase. I have also contacte BTC38 but I have not yet had a reply. We are running a Weibo account but it is still a bit slow. Please also then vote for BITZ to be added to Cex.io ( https://support.cex.io/hc/communities/public/questions/203283697-Please-add-BITZ-currency-to-the-exchange). I am also working on the merchant side in the background but I do believe that we need a solid and stable infrastructure and regular trade to be able to progress. If anyone can suggest further exchanges then great.
