I was doing some learning and discovered that a softfork can cause a single or even double confirmation to be orphaned from the main chain.

If relying on single confirmations one will need to ensure that they always track software updates.

Yeah this is true, I am following the coins feeds for any updates or not.

Things aren't correct.

Instead if expiring the status started counting up.

There should be at least 0.02721 + 0.01036734 BTC progress, but site lists only 0.00177810 BTC.

The balance on 1Nine9waAcCQtDsAqM9XwqLnLSsgg1ij2o is 0.1303339 - 0.0223839(over 0.107) confirmed, but it is not paying out a 0.10490200.

There is a 20 second parse time, so the expiring transaction can last up to 20 seconds more, but no more.

As for the balance, this is because of my test funds I was sending funds to another address within the wallet for a test of address grabbing, it has
used the funds from that address instead of the main address.

In fact, to avoid any further confusion around this I will add the test funds
to the main pool as a sort of gift to the users for continued play.

I added the test funds manually as to be fair to the expiring transaction.

Thanks for playing!

I saw that, awesome of you.  I wonder if that confirmation would have made it... it was very close.

Shouldn't it instead say time_wait or something?  Borrowed that from TCP.

Well I could set it to say that, but would still have the same effect, the script will still need it's pause time.

I personally don't see it as a problem, granted it does look odd when it occurs but for the sake of 20 seconds, it's fine.

I tried it out and I got paid.
I hate to put in a promo for the competition, but hey, the site works, and it pays out!
I want to see more FAIR ponzi's like this one.
Good job Ninja

Thank you for the positive feedback, especially as another provider.

Much appreciated and as you have tested out my site, I will test out yours.

This will be sent via the main address so if it gets paid out it should keep paying back and forth.

Thanks for playing!

So if it gets paid over and over it will help out the players of both ponzi's, that's awesome!!  Shocked

Progress to next payout: -0.00050000 / 0.00410000

I don't get it?  Looking at the JSON, I don't see what values are even used to calculate this.

I was tinkering with miner fees (disabled for 10 mins while testing things) and a transaction went through.

It ended up paying out 1 extra transaction as it shouldn't of had enough to pay with the miner fees.

No worries though the game remains the same.

Also the balance being ~0.001 in front of the recorded balance is deliberate (~0.001 was included from my own funds).
It's a fail-safe measure for paying out larger transactions that usually accommodate fees up to 0.0003-0.0004.

Ninja I am enjoying your game ! Thanks for being legit, I can see the site being around for a long time..
Just a thought, I keep having to find my transactions, wouldn't be cool if there was a search field I could put my address in and the site would locate my transaction for me?

I actually created a search function pre launch but decided to not include it.

I will add it back in shortly.

Thanks for playing!

Using client side storage to maintain a list of addresses & deposits the user is interested in would be nice.
