were it an inside job??

I wonder why so many exchanges had been hacked? are their security the emperor's new suit?  Angry Angry

Amateurs build exchanges, that's why.

lol...

and which exchange build by Professionals of Technology / Finance?

lakebtc, kraken, bitstamp, I suggest this three exchanges which is enough to meet everyone's needs.

only lakebtc has not hacked yet.
just trading btc/usd on lakebtc, thst's a good choice

I wonder if hackers could ever despise the volume of LakeBTC?  Roll Eyes

LakeBTC opened later than kraken, or bitstamp. The hackers have had less time to target it. They just hacked allcrypt for 42 Bitcoins, so LakeBTC is still a target because its higher volume than that.

I think the deposits seem to be working fine as they have resumed trading. Its only the withdrawals which were taking time.

I managed to withdraw btc that I had on orders before the "hack" therefore their BTC wallet should be working fine.

You were so lucky you were able to withdraw btc before the hack.

Yes btc deposit should be working but I doubt I'll deposit any there again.

I'm going to assume that were an inside job, any exchanges take the security as a game?

Its a relief that they are back in business. Its particularly important to all those of us who have BTS snapshots.

I think that in this case was only an inside job (read the previous pages, we have already discussed about this question) because it is impossible to hack an offline wallet (with a remote hack attack).

Thanks, I was hoping it was a problem with my browser. This really sucks after the hack. I'm frightened to even access the site without SSL protection and I doubt they will wake up and fix it until another five hours when it's morning in China.

Have all coins been re-enabled? I've tried to deposit CDC and RED but neither are showing. A CDC withdraw from bter succeeded, so the coin is definitely up and running, but for some reason deposits are not being credited.

I can't see anything obvious in their twitter feed. Asking here before I bother support. Sorry if it's been mentioned before.

edit: a test withdraw for RED also works. So withdraws work, but deposits don't.
