Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Great atmosphere here. I must admit that I bought a lot of bitb at 10 Satoshi. It was a gamble that I'm willing to take since I saw the takeover was serious. I'll send another donation this Monday since I don't have access to my main computer now.  Wink

SELLING BITBEAN LESS THAN BITTREX

Only in increments of 1 btc.  (1 btc per transaction gives me incentive to not sell on bittrex and crash the price.)

If you want to buy Bitb at 10 satoshi send the amount of Btc you want to spend to 1DPacaUfNrA2eRPM6pEY2K65vi845DnPkA with a message included in your transaction that includes your Bitb address for me to send the coins too, you can also send me a PM on here and post the transaction ID and your Bitb I will verify the transaction and send you your amount of Bitb.  Remember 10sats each which means 1 btc = 10m.  The transaction fee will also be coming out of your coins which will be .05 at max I do believe. Do not have bad math and accuse me of shorting, thank you.

This is my Bitb wallet address 2MLAtevbULEdZV17GjQoRLu7fwXWqo18uc (moved half my coins to bittrex) You will see I can sell nearly any amount but because I care about the market I will only sell upto 2 btc per wallet and I will do my best to use blockchain.info to make sure I do not sell more than 2 btc to any single person to the best of my ability.  Also I have to ask you stake the coins you buy from me please.  I am selling here so I do not crash it on Bittrex to less than 10 satoshi, I do not want to crash this coins price.

Does the weight depend on the amount of coins in your wallet?

Thank you sir!  Not sure I can wait that long.  My wife has a windows machine so maybe I'll start staking on that until the mac wallet comes out.

Yep, it does for now. For future reference dev team is looking to make pos reward more fairer and possible for low balance wallet to stake often so more people will have incentive to stake and keep the wallet open which helps secure network as well.

Actually, I have a Raspberry Pi running Debian Wheezy.  I wonder if it's powerful enough to stake my coins?

One last thing: Does staking work on the online wallet Coinwallet.co?  I'm assuming it does.  If so I'll just use that.

Yes, should work. Haven't tried it yet, so please let us know how it goes. We are available via IRC Freenode #bitbean if you should need assistance.
