If you don't believe then sell, I don't understand the negative posts. Nobody told you to buy this coin (if you ever did) so go harass elsewhere.

I'm not harassing. I am a holder and have stated that it can be a good investment as long as you understand the flakyness. I don't, however believe that silly poems pumping a wallet release are all that valuable as information to investors old or new. As an investor and a holder I have every right to push both Bitbeaner and the Bean Core to grow bitbean in a responsible, effective manner.

I believe in the potential of bitbean, but don't see any benefit to meaningless hype. I am not a huge fan of negative posts either, but when there are legitimate issues, people need that information.

You're upset because you're pushing for a wallet pump, more pump and dumps won't do anything to help this legitimate altcoin be taken any more seriously. It's just a wallet, man.

Sorry you see it that way, as for being upset, far from it. If you are genuine why don't you join the beancore and add value that way. It would be more effective than grumbling in public. As for the poems, it's to lighten up this thread, not trying to pump the coin. The Dev has repeatedly posted that the wallet is close for release.

Next step is hopefully another dump. As long as the devs don't change anything this coin will be fine. lol.

Devs should be in top 5 wallet holders on Rich list..don't you think?

If we're too efficient and released developments too soon..it would run the price of Bitbean up before we could afford to get in the top 5. So keep selling Bitbeans..we're getting close. I believe transparency and honesty are in order. Thank you.

Has anything happened in the last 6 months? Pease detail ! does the dev have the password for github?
Did they stall long enough so dev is a top 5 holder?

No it hasn't everything is still running the exact same as it has the week before and the month before that with no changes.. not even an update Wink

Why are you posting the updates and why haven't we heard anything from the dev himself?

Bean Core has nominated Gazzatron as our interim Community Manager, and he has accepted. So Gazzatron will be keeping everyone updated on BitBean progress so that I can focus full-time on core development.

Latest update is that the acceptance testing is complete on the core code. The Linux wallet is built, Windows and mac wallets are ongoing. The new release will be available when these wallets are ready, or sooner if the MAC wallet needs extra attention. I know you have your scepticism with the delay of the new release but bear with us, we are working towards a crypto that has dedicated people wanting to produce a quality product (check the rich list now and before the pump). As for the future, this release is the foundation for that progression.

As for a timescale, I was told this weekend, but we all know meeting self imposed targets can be your nemesis. As much to say we are close.

Well for one it is a good sign that they have selected you as a community manager Gazzatron, hopefully you can fix the communication issues.

Thanks for inviting me to join Beancore, but I won't be investing that much until Bitbean shows some actual development. When I offered to put together a Bitbean Wiki article for free, something I would normally get paid quite well to do, I was told the BeanCore was already on the case, that was 6 months ago now so forgive me if I currently have the impression BeanCore is kind of weak on deliverables too.

The Dev posted that an Android wallet was close to release about 6 months ago, that's one of the issues, he's been so flaky and shady that saying something means nothing to your community anymore, what we are looking for are actions. Actions that matter are also pretty important.

I understand trying to lighten up the thread, but happy little poems about things that do little to add actual value to the coin as a currency or method of exchange doesn't really help with the months of delays and broken promises. If you REALLY want to lighten up the thread, then just stick to providing news and timelines that you can meet, provide clear and concise reasons why those deadlines are not met (if they are missed) and provide some detail about how you plan to avoid similar delays the next time.

One last thing, what you call grumbling in public is far from it. It is simply making sure new investors are aware of the history of the coin and the broken promises and missed deadlines (as well as the shady statements from the Dev). Trying to sweep those legitimate issues under the rug because of a new wallet release is just another flaky move. You'll have to forgive me if I seem a bit negative, I was actually sitting pretty much in your position about 6 months ago, telling people Bitbean was looking like a good investment with a solid roadmap, but then the entire roadmap was missed and even new deadlines didn't work out. This "New Wallet" you're soooo happy about was also supposed to be released over a month ago (myself and another had conversations directly with Bitbeaner on IRC where he said "this weekend for sure"), and all we have are still screenshots.

So, when you say grumbling, I say holding the Dev, BeanCore and their new Community Manager accountable for their broken promises, and ensuring new investors are aware of the good AND bad aspects of Bitbean. Once you've gone for 3 months meeting deadlines and showing actual progress I'll happily change my tune, but I won't simply be quiet and let it be brushed aside until there is evidence those issues are over and done with and progress is being made on future developments.

Good Luck!

Question why do we need another exchange right now if we can barely start on the ones we are on?

Because Cryptsy is having issues and many people don't want to use that exchange any longer because of the fee gauging. Cryptopia fee's are less than Cryptsy before the gouging... So it is a good move...

I don't think another exchange is completely necessary.  We have Bittrex and Cryptsy.  Cryptopia has like no volume there is no point the spread will be massive.

Cryptsy is going down the crappers. They are gouging every person on withdrawl fees.. Many people are choosing not to use them any longer. Cryptopia will happen... Embrace it!!

Any worries about Bittrex de-listing the Bean, it will not happen. More exchanges can't be a bad thing, I've looked at Cryptopia and Bean meets their criteria for acceptance but the vote has a long way to go to get listed. We are on the two largest ones.
