My wallet says 0 active connections. How do I fix the problem?

If you just downloaded wallet you need to add conf file

sinse bitbean is the best staking coin in existence  Smiley

any idea how secure these would be?

Nice, it's basically a raspberry pi running linux. I'd think it would be more secure than storing them on your computer because you don't have virus threats.

Get them to add bitbean, as well as the other staking coins and I'll buy one.

I have  been watching cryptsy chat and market for days
and i would like to say the teambean(bitbeaner) has handled himself like a true gentleman with great professionalism
hard to do when you get ganged up on by cryptsy mods(mobs) and local trolls with questions that they seem to forget the answers in seconds

the phrase "i just asked a simple question" well haunt me for days

I also would like to say i dont beleive its pumping and dumping on cryptsy
its just smart investers buying and with only 2 markets its pushing alittle hard
and people are so use to the p&d mentality , most of the people buying i do beleive are not selling
its the daytraders hopping on a coin that is moving trying to get their 5% gain for the day

they well regret later!

all the more reason to get bitbean on more exchanges ,
so we can have a more even distribution and it won't be so
obvious that bitbean is the best place to invest your money  Smiley

take_off,

Thank you for those kind words.

Let's not forget that Bitbean is currently also traded on yobit.net:  https://yobit.net/en/trade/BITB/BTC
They are a nice exchange, so please give them some business if your buying more Bitbeans.

With all the attention Bitbean is getting, the attacks are starting. As a pro-active measure, please make sure you keep your beans in your personal wallet and don't leave them on exchanges. Encrypt your wallet and then make a back-up key and store on off-line media.

If anyone needs assistance I am available in IRC on Freenode (#bitbean) or email me:  admin@bitbean.org

Best to all our Bean Family!
