I destroyed 20, bot destroyed 14 and i still lost? How is that

Payout is determined as a ratio of player's hits to dealer's hits. However, dealer's shots are completely random, thus he is pretty disadvantaged. The Dealer cannot find player's ships after a hit. Because of that, final payout is 17:25.

This gives aprox. 2% house edge.

As I already wrote, it's expected that you can win up to 2720% of your bet. And in the worst case you can lose up to 69% of your bet.

you need to put better odds on your battleship game,because odds really stink
they are only good if you hit 3 or 4 in row at start and enemy dosent hit 1
please fix this!

Yes house edge too big, payout too low and each games takes a lot of time to finish. You gotta make the payout bigger

Would have liked it if the player was allowed to cash out any time during the game.

I went upto 120 mBTC (a few days ago) but went down to 20 after I was forced to play.  

It is better to give the player the win amount when they resign than forfeiting everything.

When it's allowed you should remember that probability of overcome dealer any time during the game is higher, so payout would be lower in that case. It's possible to apply similar rules as minesweeper sites use, but the game would remotely resemble Battleship...

I think the game is more exciting when you are in winning position and you still have to watch the dealer whether he will hit you or not. Or when you are losing and you still have a chance to catch up the dealer. That's a Battleship!

Anyway these game rules guarantee low volatility. When you lose, the lose is not a big one. It's statistically expected that your winnings should be between 31% and 2720% of your bet.

I still think, it will be better to allow the player to do so.

It takes a lot of time to complete one game and you either lose a small % or win a small % (most probably). Or can you make the game super fast?
All clicks register and play out at order really fast?

Yeah, PvP would be great

There is already a few, but they are not getting enough attention and no players in a PvP game, means.. Coinxerox got a great interface and enoguh players to make it a success.

One thing that maybe should be implemented is that when you destroy all the big ships and you have to find the 1 tile small ships its really boring, maybe make an option to make it automatic and the game searches for you and that would speed up the process of fidning them since there is no strategy for the last 1 tile ships it wont matter

Yes pretty much. It should shoot fast so that we dont waste time finding the last ships, sometimes i have 30-40 tiles left to search and it takes a good amount of time. Thanks for considering it

My opinion is the same. PvP mode would be great. Unfortunately, as you already wrote, for PvP games really high traffic is needed. For fluent playing, a few players must be still registered in the lobby. That means many, many players per day. It's a hard question, how popular this game will be - this is the second day only.

Although, the game is currently not ready for PvP, during the development we remember that it could be in the future.

In case we found out there are enough players for PvP mode, I promise all of you we will make PvP Battleship.

There is no need for high traffic to make the PvP since you already have a vs Bot mode if there is not enough players to play PvP the player could just play vs the bot

also you cant leave during the battle...or you will lose all btc

Thats why i suggested pvp, it would be 0% house edge and the payout could be way better

As far as i know there is already a perfect strategy to play the original battle ships, it wouldnt be hard for someone to make a bot to play this one 100% efficiently
