i msg'd icm to see if he could host an i2p node for us. or we could crowdfund a known one on a vps or something. like everything just need to know it works for the people who do want it, and dont want to fuss around looking for a solution that may/may not exist.

$MAID & $BTC other than that some short hodls and some long held garbage.

so i tried out i2p. pretty easy to setup. download the software, click to run. it'll open a browser window with a welcome page and config options etc. you tell it to start service for a sam bridge. if you want to browse websites you have to tell your browser to route traffic through the i2p "router."

anoncoin has a website right on the i2p welcome page nice placement.

anyways after i2p router was running I opened craveqt told it to run i2p only i could see it had made an address for itself, and i restarted it.

since then nothing. I heard the sling guys were having trouble without i2p addnodes but havent heard any more about this. so i fired up slingqt the same.
without addnodes and 12 hours being open i can see a few tunnels having opened to the 2 clients but no active connections have been made nor any blockdata moved back and forth.

so is anyone using i2p or did you guys just ask for it for shits n giggles.

or maybe i need some other config in crave.conf..?

i dont really care about i2p but id like to be able to coach people if they need help and want to be able to know that people trying it in the future wont come onto a dead end fancy tech with no use case.

i2p is working,  and also for Sling there is an addnode you can use to get that working too..
I put it in the i2p guide link in my signature.  At the bottom of the guide you'll see the addnode (for Sling though)

i will leave i2p wallet online for few hours for testing purposes. please add node to your crave.conf and reply here if you get connection. if testing is positive i will try to get i2p wallet on my vps running 24/7, still its pretty challenging for me because i am linux noob  Tongue

Starin and some people are workign to update the cravetalk.org website to have a front page with crave information and the forums behind that.

Masternode Setup Video 101
dont steal my coins!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGFOAdIviuI
join slack or pm with questions.

quick notes:
you can duplicate this setup to add as many masternodes on one system that you like.
just make another new folder and copy the same stuff over. in the conf file change the port and rpcport then away you go!
you can still run a normal wallet, with this setup the %appdata% roaming folder with your main wallets config and data are not used. so feel free to stake that main wallet if you want.

Actually a really engaging dialogue on polo troll box...for once.  This is all starting to make people think.  Its going to be the challenge of our age...how to fight the over reach of global powers on what should be our private lives.  As the world gets smaller...the fight will be on for the control of everything.  Not a conspiracy type...but this is starting to weight on me.

I have a funny suspicion that the next 5 to 10 years are going to get interesting around here(world).

got in with 370 btc last week at 230, this week we should be going over 250s Tongue , btc isnt pumping , its undervalued and smart money is buying it up Cool
Its not undervalued. Its rightly valued atm.  Don't expect the price to move upward in the coming 2-3 months, just hope that the dumpers wont dominate the market again.

sorry bro, but i fully expect the price to move upward in the coming 2-3months, we are at a very crucial period, http://www.coindesk.com/swedens-nasdaq-exchange-approves-bitcoin-based-etn/   is one of many reasons. With regulation so near they are stocking up. Once regulated the biggest changes will be in exchanges and coin storage as both will now be fully insured against theft etc. Exchanges will have to comply with the new rules which will mean full id of all users, in return for giving the id you will feel safe knowing your coins are insured. Banks will offer services based on btc and will make it easier and safer for the avergae joe to buy/hold and trade as long as tax is paid.

http://www.coindesk.com/nasdaq-bitcoin-marketplace-noble/   heres another
guys am glad you both picked up on this, we should all be communicating and working together on these issues, it doesnt matter who owns what coin..we all love crypto.

Thank you for the heads up. Will be pulling everything asap. The last time I pulled out of an exchange was when there were whispers of mintpal entertaining "thanks for all the fish", lucky me bc I was out well before it all hit the fan.  I was out of craptsy even before that bc of my deposits/withdrawals not being processed until days after any serious market movement magically.

Again, thank you for the HUGE heads up.
