I think you shouldn't invest based on someone else suggestions. It is better you need to study the market and start investing.

If you don't have any idea then it is always good to start with Bitcoins. But don't buy all at once instead buy in small amounts and wait for some time see whether prices can correct.

Apart from Bitcoins other coins to consider is ETH, ETC, LTC, IOTA, WAVES and NEO. Check these coins ANN threads and decide whether you want to invest or not.

For now its good to buy a dump coins and hold it until you want the price of bitcoin to exchange it. Traders are fun of buying during dump time, because this is the best way to earn a big profit. While bitcoin is go I'll no higher it's really exciting to have a bitcoin savings now imagining the future for the high price of bitcoin. How l really wish to have a 1bitcoin ,that's my wish to have this new year. That l could really feel the joy inside my heart.

Studying how the market works is way better than asking for anyone's suggestion but if you think they are expert enough then it will also help you to make a real progress in the future. The bitcoin price now is $17,574.90 which is too expensive to buy compared yesterday with the value of $16,900 which means that the value is continuously aiming high everyday. Don't you find it great about bitcoin's future?

Go with eth and ltc. With the recent bump in price some are claiming it will soon be listed as futures. You might think it's too late to purchase because the price is already but there are rumours suggesting as soon as it get's listed both coins have a really high potential to reach at $1k or even above.

for me I think you can buy any coin in top 10. they are profitable now without worry about anything. all they have strong whale back
Lol so helpful you can't just buy a coin because it is in top 10 lists there are many other factors.

You can ask for others suggestion on what coin to buy but still you are the one to that needs to be responsible on what will you do with it. Majority of the coins are healthy now, I would suggest that you have to wait a little bit longer and wait for some dip to those coins. And while you're waiting this is the right time for you to make your own research about those coins that you can see there that has volumes of trade or just caught your attention.

Just hold your coin for next few weeks and buy coins like ETH, LTC, XMR if there will be some correction which is likely after a huge price rally they have gone through recently.

ETC is still cheap, you can buy it now and hold for 100+.

Most people will say buy bitcoin, eth, ltc and xmr, but I believe this the right moment to stay in cash. Price, volume and news has direction, too much speculation on the real market this time. Stay in cash is for your safety, wait until end of the year and you can buy any coin you like. I suggest buy bitcoin and eth, anothers just leave it. Have a nice day.

Litecoin looks very good for an investment at this moment, I'd say that currently owning LTC is as good as BTC, the price rocketed and there's no information online about why it happen.

Maybe have a look at DOGE, it is due a pump and with it's old friend litecoin shooting up like it has I think it is just a matter of time until the DOGE has it's day but this is just in the very near future,

Long term perhaps some of the more established coins such as ETH, WAVES to name a couple.

you should first learn how to trade. this includes learning how to analyze the market and see which coin has the best potential of rising and which one has the least or has the biggest potential of dropping.
then you have to move on to more important matters like how to deal with what you have bought after you bought it. most people forget this important step. you must know when to sell and have a good plan for it. and also think ahead about things like stop loss and what you are going to do when price drops.

for example now LTC is showing good potential but it is near the end of its rise. you should have bought it a couple of days ago and started thinking about selling it now. and now you can still buy it but it will be riskier and you have to act faster in case of a drop.
and like always bitcoin is still the main investment and the best thing to find in the cryptocurrency market.

This coins you listed here are already up for more then 3 times, its not late for buying them if you have plans to hold them for long time, if you wish short term investment find some other coins. I think bitcoin will grow more before the end of this year, this is the up trend and it reflects on other alts too. I saw ripple moved from 25 cents after a long stagnation. Market is blooming and I think all coins will have higher price next year, patience is needed for waiting.
For short term I think its time ripple to triple it's price and go to 1 dollar.

If I were you, I will buy bitsend right now because the price is really under value right now. I'm really sure the price will increase next 2-3days or next week and set sell bitsend at 0.00010000 or more per bitsend. Wait 1-2 weeks and enjoy your profits.

This, if you do not have the knowledge to invest yourself then it is better to not do it, I always find these kind of questions surprising if you were buying a car or a house you will not ask random people in the street what they thought about it you will perform the research yourself and the same rule needs to be followed when it comes to investments on crypto.

I am also for Etherum. It is time to buy it while the price is not too high. Next year Etherum is promising to rise two three times and it is going to be the real break for this currency.
But if you are impatient and want to have something sure pick up Bitcoin. It is expansive, but the most profitable indeed ;)

That's right we really need to be resourceful before engaging in a specific coin and plan to hold it for the future investments. The most important thing to do is it has a good platform and it may take lots of time to gain its demand, because that's an assurance that its price value will pump very fast. Knowing the information can be so difficult because there were plenty of speculations to come, and I can suggest that you should check at the trading site and have an analysis on the graph trend statistics and it will clearly visualize what will happen if you have long term goals on your investments.

Making your own research to specific coins is better, I don't spend time to those coins that are totally crap in my opinion and sticking only to those reliable ones. And after your research and your done with your analysis that will gain you confidence on what coins to buy.

Well i agree with you, buying ethereum is one of the best thing to do to have or make a big profit in the future, because we all know that ethereum is the best altcoins and among the rest of altcoins ethereum has big chance to hit even a $5000 in 2018, so my advice is start buying eth now.

Already a lot of coins have been pounded on bitfinex. Have remained intact qash and ETP. Interesting coins Data. I'm waiting for peaks in the BTG, BCH. By BTG I'm waiting for 450 dollars, for the BCH I'm waiting 2400 $ and above. For qash wait for 1.2 dollars and above.

Exactly. But you should've bought it when it's still at $450. I regret not buying when it was falling so hard. That was the time when bitcoin first reach it's ATH at $18,000. Almost all of the altcoins are bleeding. That was the best time to start buying altcoins. And I missed that chance. Now, ETH's price is at $700. I could've easily earned almost $300 worth of profit.

Yep, nobody knows what will happen in the future. If you want to buy, maybe foremost you have to list some coin for example : Ltc,Etc Eth ,Alt or Btc… Then spending your times taking  some researches, and especially if you have friends who used to invest or know about btc, you can gain some experiences and advices. You need analyze how the market fluctuate , and make an accurate  decision is important key .For me, investing btc  now is much safer than others, but you should choose the right time to invest suitablely

Bitcoin has the highest volume and in demand around the world. As you can see the graph, the price is stable currently and looks like this will never go down until the year ends. As I have read the news about Bitcoin, this will continue to increase until the year ends and I hope it will never change. Bitcoin is too big to fail so better to invest now. Read news everyday so that you can make plans on when to buy or sell.

Don't buy any coin which someone will suggest you, you should look at its chart first and only buy it if it is trading at some constant level for really long time and have its ATH (all time high) price at very high point.

Most of the alts are returning back to their bitcoin ATH so buying coins with top volume with bitcoin can be profitable right now.

Something similar like IOTA but I think DATA better, so the price of this coin in my opinion can be increasing later and there is even a possibility of 10x.

I am on this side too. ETH is so potential altcoins and I think the only one altcoin that have some good future ahead. All other altcoins are normal and they don’t have anything extraordinary in them. Bitcoins are making some amazing progress and these ETH and all other altcoins can’t just compete with it, still, ETH is valuable and cheap in buying while more than satisfactory in giving profits.

It all depends on you. If you are willing to take such sort of step in your life, then it will for sure help you in making far better than just staying in cash. The only thing which you need to care about is the do not jump into this world of crypto currency until and unless you are not quite confident that you’ll be able to do well in this field. Knowledge carries a very significance importance over here and you do need to have enough skills to do better.

Every one in here will tell you the name of coin from their experience or the coin they invested in, pick the right coin according to your budget is very difficult. Keep in mind the amount of money you want to invest and search for the currency by yourself by searching the market trends of different coins. Try to invest in short term coins, make some money and then go for long term coins.

Well both are pretty good coins but still is have certain doubts regarding the success rate of ethereum. Ethereum is kind of bitcoin’s rival, it is all the time trying hard to chase bitcoin but always meets disappointment because it is not as good as bitcoin is. Hi, guys!
I am in cash in Bitfinex now, what would be your advise to do now? What coin to buy or to stay in cash? THANK YOU!

If you're just a beginner in trading, choose bitcoin as it's the safest and low risk coin.
Some beginners try to buy coins that aren't really familiar to them and it just end up a shitcoin and loss their money. We all see bitcoin powerful momentum and no doubt that even it had a downfall still it recovered quickly and skyrocketed.

If you're a beginner i would recommend buying those popular coins like BTC, ETH, BCH, RIPPLE, and LTC you those coins that you'll profit a lot even you don't do daily trading, and you'll learn a lot while holding these coins just make sure you're always making the right decision to make sure you'll have a really great profit.

Hi, guys!

i think you should buy eth or bitcoin and hold for a long term to multiply your money instead Of nothing happens. Or i suggest do both cause as i noticed both coin is good to hold now adays, dont miss the opportunity mate.  Best regards
The current pumped should also be consider, maybe wait for some correction before buying anything as the value will fall when corrections happens
i would suggest to buy only if you already understand and you are willing to hold for long term investment.
Definitely you should consider this pump that last from last 2 years. Prices of bitcoins are likely to become stable now in this interval of amount. But they soon either go further up or they will have a dip coming ahead. So keeping this mind, try to wait forsome time so that you may observe where the market is going. Just don’t be panic and control over your mind. Be wise in decision.

Well putting the 25 % of your money here in bitcoin is fine than staying in cash because there is a big possibility that the value of it will keep on increasing which will turns out that your money will increase too. For now, bitcoin is the first place with the biggest amount of value in the market and next is the ethereum. You should read some news about cryptocurrencies than asking for someone's suggestions about this matter and download the blockfolio to monitor the coins value.

If you really looking for long term goal than invest in coins which are growing from bottom to high for example ETH, ripple, BCH, LTC and neo. Or you can try in some ICOs.

I suggest you to buy eth and leave other coin. Eth today's have low price and volume ( my opinion ) so this is the right time to buy it. I don't see any option to buy besides eth, even btc it self, because for btc is too high and that become bad option to buy ( too risky ). Maybe you don't like my opinion because ignore btc and other coin but I believe that's the right step for us. Thank you and good luck.

Buy all the top 5 cryptocurrency in coinmarketcap like BTC, ETH, BCH, XRP and LTC. If you bought that all, in the future you will double your capital. There reason why I say that, it is because those currency listed above are so legit coin so that we can assure less risky.

Because of bitcoins sudden price rise i would not suggest that you buy bitcoin. It is just matter of time before its price goes down. What I would suggest for you to buy is Ethereum. It is strong and widely used crypto, with nice rise in price because of all the things going on lately. One more reason to buy it is, when price of bitcoin start to goes down, people will swap to other crypto... and ETH will probably be first choice.

Look for ICO's or google it. Might be better if you have a person or a friend that is good trading or friends on facebook or even search for parties and manipulations about some altcoins well there are many groups on facebook on the some rising coins. But would recommend investing on ICO'S
Going against some people in the forum, do not look for icos at the moment. Ifse time something interesting to do would be to buy Eth or Btc, and as you are in Bitfinex another interesting currency to buy would be Iota, since it has had a very big drop in the last days but now it is already returning to high prices and today they announced who are in tests of a new portfolio, then it is likely that the price of it will increase a lot in the next few days.

This can be somewhat good opinion but still not the best one, because if you have to go after the crypto currencies which are low in price, and volume gets the priority while investing than there are many other crypto currencies which are very much lower than Etc.

Why not to invest in those?? My opinion is to go for the strengthened one and in the market the only crypto currency which is the strengthened one is bitcoin and none other.

First of all , never be late to buy coins... But these days btc is in a downstream movement.. It will continue for few days.. I saw etherum is moving all the way up.. Its on its way to moon.. I think you better buy eth and hodl for about 3 months.. You would be able to get a massive profit through that.. Because eth was falling for last six months and now it broke its line of resistance and started moving up.. This is the best time to buy some eth and hold.. You would never regret for sure..An also keep your eye on bitcoin cash too.. Everybody says it would go further up.. one Eth costs 0.04705980 btc at this moment.. Get on the boat and enjoy the success.. :p

Al crypto are not better for trading and investing. Some are there that can be profitable to you and they can make you earn some money. Like you have said, BTC and ETH and LTC these are some amazing coins which have much potential to yield such incredible profit ratios. While all other altcoins, they don’t have such good fame and popularity, neither have they had any good in profits.

Yes and that would be a very wrong move which is why a lot of people not getting the essence of their investment while looking for shortcuts to it. For any investor, it is good to understand the essence why you are investing in such a coin and not just for profit alone.

There are so many coins out there and it takes some pretty good research to know what to hold and what not to and someone on this forum may just end up getting a lot of opinions and still not knowing which one to pick but these coins mentioned by Chris, are some good ones to hold for the long run.

I don't think so, because my friend says that it was just a bubble, time will come that bitcoin cash's price will dump to a very low price. I suggest buying ETHEREUM instead, because I've heard a news that it will PUMP next year, and I'm hoping that it will go back to 0.1 bitcoin per ethereum next year so I'm holding my Ethereum.

If you are doing it at your own, then it’s okay but if you are doing it because of your friend, then make sure that he has as many stakes involved as yours because in this market, people always guess about the market and keep the best guess themselves and spread the rest to others in the market. So if you have your money involved in it, then do some work to know about dumps and pumps of the market and make the decisions accordingly.

Different altcoins are there which have good potential and can give you good profit, but I think that it is too much important that you must have good experience while selecting a good coin, for that you need to study a lot about the selected coins. I think its important to select a good potential coin so that it can give you a good profit after some time. Because there are so many scam coin which can only take your money away and cannot give you any profit.

I think that at the moment of the coin you should be most interested in it is bitcoin, the price of a bitcoin in the last 24 hours has decreased from $ 11000 to $ 8400 at the present time. And while only 4 weeks ago the bitcoin price was close to $ 20,000, it's now a great time to buy bitcoin at the best price. Such dramatic cuts are due to the fact that India has banned all bitcoin-related issues. The market has lost a large amount of capitalization led to the price of bitcoin so sharp decline.

BUT, dont put your all money in bitcoin in one time, buy some and wait for the rate correction, If the rate will go down again buy some again and again and again so that if the rate will pump little by little you can sell you bitcoin little by little to. Always remember that Sell some if you have a profit for that specific coin and price that you buy. And dont forget to hold some so that if the rate greatly pump big, you can have a great profit. :)

Now is the time to buy. Buy on your money bitcoin and etherium. And wait. I think that very soon you will be pleasantly surprised. Very soon the market will start to grow.

For now the price of all coin are red,  bitcoin and altcoins are going down and we need to buy while the price are fall, don't wait for the rise before you buy, just buy in the low price.

I think you should wait some days for buying cryptos because right now all crypto in a downtrend. If you want to get profit from crypto, buy from deep Bitcoin, Ethereum, waves and hold it. I hope it will give you a major benefit.

Money is obviously being poured out of crypto (and quite a lot of it). However if you look at the long term picture (so use a log scale) the dent so far is not much bigger than in July this year. It still is to early to tell if we are going on a downward trend (like 2014) or a deep dip (like July 2017). We have had bad news coming out of China before (with a strong but temporary impact on price).
https://coinmarketcap.com/charts/ (https://coinmarketcap.com/charts/).
In both cases the underlying trend is still going up and not down (well for the moment at least).
Conclusion is at that stage nobody can tell you with confidence what the next few months will give us, but that it's a bit too early to despair. We will know more in a few weeks.

Yep but if you want to minimize risks do not buy in one go. With a market like that you can use dollar cost averaging. Returns are lower, but chances of losing your shirt are minimal.

If you want to buy some crypto coins and you have this much of money that you can buy some crypto coins, then I will suggest you to go for buying of as many number of bitcoins as you can afford to buy and that too without wasting anytime. This is the best time to buy some bitcoins and to put them in your wallet as you will be able to have more bitcoins in less price, thus resulting in more profit too.

Check these coins ANN threads and decide whether you want to invest or not.
better to made own research and dont just listen to anyone telling you buy this or that, but its a good thing too if you check some advice from the old timers here in forum,or specially in trading because they might have reviewed those coins that they putting here..

Anyway for me even that market is drowning in blood now.try to check IOTA ,MONERO,RIPPLE,NEO and DASH since thats what im having in my portfolio.

i think the prices are falling, you should do research on some coins that you care. i can sugguest some coins like ripple, ethereum or staller.. but now you should be careful before you buy. maybe the price keeps going down
The market value of almost all the coins which are there in the world of digital currencies is falling down very much significantly and it is actually a very good opportunity for those who are in a mood to buy some crypto coins. Prior to go for buying, you need to get the required knowledge which can then help you in making the right decision being the owners of the crypto currency. You can go for buying of bitcoin, ETH or any other coin based on your budget.

[/quoteI believe that at the moment we should invest in a very potential coin in 2018 that is NEO. NEo is a coin released by China, but is as ETH version 2.0. We can see that many of these ICO projects will be running on NEO so far this year, so NEO prices will be high this year. Because NEO price is very good to buy.

I believe that if you have been in this market for a while, I am sure you will know when to buy. We can see that this is a new market that is constantly changing, so if technical analysis is not enough, you have to combine it with the information channels that give you the time to buy. I have a principle that is only buy when the price goes sideways.

For all this we have to do some of the smart steps like we have to buy bitcoin litecoin and some other coins as well.

Ethereum and Ripple these days are the most encouraging altcoins and their costs are anticipated to rise exceedingly in the closest future. And for those who start trading, specially during a bear phase, remember that you have some simple techniques to limit your risks.
 - diversify because no one can be sure that any one coin will not have to face a major crisis (scalability for Btc, Chinese regulation for Neo etc ..)
- when you buy bring down the price per unit by not throwing all you cash at once, keep some to buy more at a lower price if it happens to still go down (that's called averaging)
- and remmener to invest in crypto only what you can afford to lose and are not likely to need in the near future. You may need to wait for months before you can cash out without losing money
- Beware of whatever tip you read on the forum or on twitter. Most of us have a vested interest in promoting the coins we hold
- By the way if you really want to be nice to the people warning you of all the dangers of the place you should really mortgage your house and buy some ARK, BPL and Waves, they are very undervalued projects that will make me a very decent profit if people were nice enough to pour they money into them ;D

You're correct in some aspect and you're not correct in some because you advice people to beware of anyone that give give tip to invest into a certain coin because they are trying to promote the coins they hold and of which you later do the samething.

With the big number of altcoins and it's increasing, the more we should be very smart in choosing because most of them are scams.
There are a lot of basis in choosing, don't get too comfortable with what you read, you should have a lot of reference because you invest in a coins.

Aragon (ANT) :Aragon ran a very successful ICO, which at the time was the 4th largest crowdfunding event in history, and the second largest in the blockchain space with only ‘The DAO’ raising more than Aragon’s $25 million. Essentially, it is a platform for creating decentralized organizations. Given its ICO success and functionality, the ANT is sure to rise in 2018.

Stox (STX): Moving further down the market cap rankings, Stox is a prediction market platform.

Diw (DIW) : DIW plans to introduce a global directory where account holders, be it individuals or organisations, will be able to list their services and expand their reach. The directory will feature a smart rating system increasing trust and transparency between account holders

You can still purchase different types of products and services with cryptocoons. The ease of doing it is available in cross-border transactions, and confidentiality (of course you want physical delivery, of course). By accepting Bitcoin, traders get access to a large market, and do not have to worry about chargaback (where customers cancel payments after receiving the product).
If you want to buy Bitcoin by purchasing gifts, the most obvious solution is gift cards via gift or ezipper. The recipient will then be able to spend one gift card on a wide retailer.

Everyone is here to make more and more money in the easiest and cheapest possible way and for that all smart investors keep an eye on bitcoin for filling their wallets to top with bitcoin when the market is red. It is highly sagacious to invest in bitcoin at low rates because the massive pumps after dips are guaranteed.

its better to purchase bitcoin along these same lines since this rate is the most reduced rate up until now. However, dont put your everything cash in bitcoin in one time, get a few and sit tight for the rate adjustment, If the rate will go down again get some over and over and again so that if the rate will draw little by little you can offer you bitcoin little by little to. Keep in mind forget that Sell a few on the off chance that you have a benefit at that particular coin and cost that you purchase. What's more, dont neglect to hold some so that if the rate enormously pumps huge, you can have an extraordinary benefit.

I think that this time is not appropriate for us to buy and trade, it can be seen that the market in the past is going down sharply, bitcoin prices have reduced the altcoin to follow and still have no mark. restoration effect. For that reason, if we trade at this point the risk will be very high, the loss will be huge if failure.

Bitcoin (25%)
Ethereum (20%)
NEO (10%)
Cardano (10%)
Monero (10%)
Bitcoin Cash (5%)
and miscellaneous coins (20%)

Please don't try to take suggestion from others to buy.  You just learn it which coin are so suitable to buy.  Cause you need to be a trader.  Don't depend on others.  So just take lesson and try to do yourself it will helps you to be a good trader.

You need to have a very good amount of money if you are planning of having this much number of coins in your wallet as the market value of the top rated coins is very much high and that will demand you to invest a huge amount of money as well. However, it is always a good decision to buy the coins which are at the top of the list and the coins having the greater demand as well as market value.

With low skill you will be paying a lot in brokerage fees and taxes on buy orders depending on your skill and standing with the owner of the station. If the trade costs you depend , and you are working with a few million in capital you need an unrealistic spread to make it worth your while you can probably earn more mining progress in profitable share on buying services.

You should be able to understand first what you are trying to do here, if you want to invest in a certain coin know that there are always risks and you are not gaining profits everytime too. I do think too that waves is a good option at the moment, price in BtC is quite low according to the history of the token and you can use the DeX to do a bit of safe trading while you wait for an increase that is likely to come soon (or lease your waves while waiting even if the returns are low, it is free money). If the plan to have bitcoin on the Russian stock exchange with an infrastructure powered by waves comes to life (it was announced for 2018), waves will be one of the big hist of 2018.

7-10 coins in your wallet is the minimal amount. I suppose that the good trader should deal at least with 15 altcoins (plus Bitcoin). I'd buy NEO, ADA, Stratis, Waves.

I am in cash in Bitfinex now, what would be your advise to do now? What coin to buy or to stay in cash? THANK YOU!
We can see that the price of bitcoins in the past few days is fluctuating continuously and is very complicated, now bitcoin price is $ 8500 and still on the rise, so I think this is extremely moment It is suitable for you to buy bitcoin. I know that China will launch the Government-backed Blockchain Investment Center, which will boost bitcoin prices in the coming days.

Lately, I'm beginning to monitor waves. By speculation , I think it is waves time to fly too. It is running some partnership recently. It was on $4 yesterday after market got green, it came to $5 and now trading at $4.96 . Being at 29 spot on cmc is not doing badly. I'm suggesting waves after Btc and etheruem.
Waves have potential to reach $8 in short time so buying waves at $5 is worth you can make 100% profit, with this you can also buy IOTA and NEM the prices are low. Bitcoin and ETH are a safe investment but to make 100% profit you have to wait a long time. so concentrate on altcoins.

We can see that the price of bitcoin in the past few days has been falling sharply, indicating that the market is going down, investors are gradually losing. According to my analysis, bitcoin prices will continue to fall sharply today and may touch $ 7200 level. So I believe this is the time to buy bitcoin at the best price.
Investors may be gradually losing in the short term now but for investors, who really invested in the long term anyway, they would not really care much about the market now since in the long run, it will always bounce back and give back a good profit.

We all do not know how long or how much bitcoin price is going to fall before we end up seeing the long awaited recovery, but patience should help. I believe right now, bitcoin should easily be anyone's target while trying to also watch out for the movement in the altcoins but would not be a bad idea, investing in some solid ones now that they have found a huge support at the bottom.

I think there should be at least 15-20 coins in the investment portfolio. Starting with bitcoin and the coins with the largest market capitalization. You can invest in coins at the ICO stage. Some of them will bring the greatest profit.

It will depends on the capital you have, me even i have good amount of capital i only have 6 to 8 coins in my portfolio exclude the bitcoin. And be careful in ico because right now there are many scam that shows good amount of return.
For now better to do short term because of the fast movement of the coins value in the market.

Personally, I would buy bitcoin and etherium. They will not be crazy X, but there is very little risk from such investments. You can certainly invest in altcoyins, but this will be a highly risky investment. In this case, you still need to select the correct altcoyins.

I think so too! You want to invest in bitcoin then you have to study the market and its price and not completely depend on others. But when you do not have a business idea, you can rely on the suggestions of friends and colleagues. Like me, before I did not know about bitcoin but thanks to my friend helped me to bitcoin. I am very pleased about that.

So you will need that information you will check the market places.I think ETC is still cheap, you can buy it now and hold it.Best of luck friend.

In my opinion, you should buy bitcoin and some other altcoins. Bitcoin price below 10k is very good for investment. Other cryptocurrencies you can buy are Neo, Litecoin, Ripple, Ethereum, and Verge.
Yes. Bitcoin should always be the top priority if one is investing and the remaining percentage can be distributed easily among all the other altcoins that have prospects and chances of a huge one in the long run. I do not know though, why I will never stop being skeptical about ripple and a lot of new investors get deceived by that manipulated coin because the see it on top of the list on coinmarketcap. Well, all man to their own decisions.

Correct why would you ask in other people when you are the one responsible to your investments. Remember this if you lose your investments you cant blame other people because they tell you what good to your investments. I think the best way is to conduct your own research in some top coins in coinmarketcap to make easy for you to choose.

Just invest in solid projects, like LOCI, SPECTIV, and so on.

BAT was the first token to monetize advertising via blockchain. It has a robust team, a unique use case, and extremely high long term potential, The furthest thing from a dead coin.

Same goes for VTC; as for FOMO, Vertcoin has a fanatical fanbase constantly shilling it on social media, but that has been going on for the last 1-2 years non stop. The fact remains they are coming up with groundbreaking developments (like atomic swap, lightning network adoption) and have a very active team, and a tremendously loyal and passionate user base.

And BTS speaks for itself, one of the legacy coins, even the crypto exchanges are afraid of its decentralized trading potential.

Though the price of BTC is fluctuating a lot and hard to predict, it's time to join and buy this right now for the long term investment. We should not care about the downtrend in the short term, I'm pretty sure that it would rise again and reach up to at least $20000. It would give good profits in turn.

Ethere. Buy Ethereum and hold it will boom few weeks from now. You wont regret it in the future.
We can see that after touching the $ 450 level, the price of ETH immediately turned up and increased again and the current price of ETH is at $ 560. I think we should not buy ETH at this moment as we have crossed the buy zone at the best price, if we buy FOMO and buy at this time will be very dangerous. I know that at the end of the month ETH will complete the new generation digging machine with great capacity, so the current ETH price will be very difficult to guess.

Diversify your holdings. Obviously, the bigger coins (Bitcoin, Eth, & Litecoin) are good options but regarding altcoins this is one of the upcoming ICO's I'm keeping my eyes on and believe in bc they will be the first arbitrage exchange that aims to usher in the masses into Crypto with their easy to use UI. Whoever brings in the masses will be one of the biggest winners.

Yeah and that is more like diversifying your portfolio which is always reasonable. One should be careful though when diversifying as well, because if care is not taken, with the way altcoins respond easily to the nature of bitcoin in the market, it can still easily get them down. However, for the long run, it is a great move, considering that one way or the other, if not all of them, at least some of them will do well and give you a great profit.

At the same time the good thing about bitcoin is that in the long term you will always win no matter what. The bad thing about altcoins is that sometimes, you may just end up winning for a short term and that winning can be pretty huge but the dump after can be strong. However, they are all good for investments, but I always prefer to hold on more to bitcoin since it is sustainable for the long run until I start seeing some alts that can really stand on their own.

I think the best investment now is to encrypt money, and then to encrypt the currency, I only recommend the mainstream currency. BTC,ETH,LTC, I think it's the only mainstream currency that has been the most protected by this huge price cut.

Like those ICO projects, the basic price cut is two thirds, and the volatility is too great.

Ethereum recommended. Ethereum has today's low price and volume. so it's the right time to buy. It's time to buy even bitcoin as well as Ethereum. because the price of bitcoin is low. I believe this is the right step for us. Thank you and good luck.
Ethereum is promising but to me it not any more because a lot of coin have been created which have more features than Ethereum. I'm of coin that allow people to  create  modern language smart contracts, apps, tradeable token, a central bank that can issue money and wallet. (http://yocoin.org/)

For now there many coins is good to buy because coins are getting lower and if you buy coins now you will have a good amount of coins. Good amount of coins equals to a good profits in the future. For me coins that has a great potential in the future is ethereum, litecoin, ripple and of course our very own bitcoin. Don’t worry if the coins is getting lower always remember that this is a good chance to have a great profits in the future.

Am bullish on platforms and privacy coins, going into the next bull market I would suggest having hodlings in some of the solid recently concluded ICOs, they have low market caps so might pump harder. what comes to mind MAN, FUSION, SPHTX, and PHR Of course they are more risky though. afterwards you can move your holdings to some of the stable larger cap coins then

If you want to invest in the cryptocurrency market, start researching the market and learn about the altcoin you want to invest. If you want to make a profit then invest in bitcoin, the current bitcoin is very low price, only about 7000 $. Let's start with buying a bitcoin and patiently holding. In addition, you can invest in other potential altcoins like ETH, LTC, NEO and WAVES.

All wise investors have already filled their buckets with bitcoin and now there is no space for more coins. This strategy of theirs is going to make them stand out others. Those who keep wondering and asking about methods of becoming rich in this market, this is the answer to all their queries. They need to be hell patient and keep purchasing bitcoin for immense returns when the market is all red.

Buy bitcoins and start trading. You must trade wisely though and do not be greedy.
I do not know if it is a good idea to start trading bitcoin right now, if you are an expert then you can do it but if you are just starting out then I think it's a bad idea, many people begin with the idea that they are going to make a lot of money by trading, after all how difficult it can be? And then they realize too late that trading is a lot more difficult than what they thought.
I think starting trading with bitcoin is a good idea. If he starts trading with any other altcoins and he picks any shitcoin he will lose his money. but bitcoin is not like that it is safe people have more confidence that the bitcoin will never go down like a hell. but i agree trading is not easy he must learn many things to start trading.
As I said trading is profitable but how many people are able to obtain profits with the market moving the way is moving? I suppose that not many people are capable to do that, you just need to look at the forum and see the huge amount of threads of people complaining about the price being so low, I suppose that even those that are holding a lots of bitcoins are losing, because that is the kind of market in which we are right now.

I think you should not buy bitcoin at the present time, it can be seen that the market in the past few days is fluctuating complicated, bitcoin prices are continuously falling for several consecutive days and now stop at milestone $ 6600. As far as I'm concerned, bitcoin prices will probably continue to fall sharply in the coming days, so you should not buy bitcoin at this time, market is in crisis, if you buy at this point the risk will be very High, you will lose heavily if the trade fails.

maybe you can buy bitcoin, but the risk is very big. if you trade, and then fail, then you risk big and suffer losses. Then it should not be now to buy coins. because for now the price of bitcoin is very down from day to day. then you should be patient. do not rush to buy coins, because later will make you suffer a high enough loss and get a big risk, it is not recommended.

We can see that the market is in a downturn, bitcoin and altcoin prices have been falling sharply for days in a row, so I think that at this point you should not buy any coin. The market is in a downward trend so your participation in this market risk will be very high and the risk of loss will be huge. You should wait for the market to stabilize again to invest and bitcoin is always the first choice.

If you are talking about investments - the most important that you should invest in trusted and proven altcoins, coins from the top 10, which have serious development teams and already launched projects. Sometimes new coins grow rapidly but also they drop quickly; it is better to spend more time for searching and analyzing tokens.

Buy any thing which has the following qualities.
Liquidity by which I mean the how quick can you convert that asset into cash. Risk factor is important to be taken into account. Return. How much will you get on keeping the invested money for some time. Keeping all these things in mind, I can say Bitcoin is the coin for investing.

Many ICOs are intended to develop on the ADA platform, and I think that would be an excellent opportunity for it to go to the Moon.

For trading, the choice of coin or token depends on the strategy you will use. If you are on day trading,  you need a coin that have a good cycle that can bounce right back when you buy low. Substantial information is required if you intend to buy and hold.  The outcome of your research will enable you to take the right decision. In synopsis,  you buy according to the trading pattern you adopt.

Basically when people have to invest or they want to use their money in some sort of sourcing, they start looking for the best thing. This best thing often hides itself and people can’t find it. But in case of bitcoins, they are so solid and exists everywhere on internet. One can read anything about them anytime. So yes, it is the best investment and you must be going for this option because it gives money.

When my friends ask me this question, I recommend them to focus on the question why you are buying anything instead of what you are buying. There are some major coins at a good price considering long-term and ICOs have a good potential for the future and hence having broad approach while taking investment decision is a wise idea instead of relying on the tips from the random online person. Please do your own research and find the concrete reason for investment.

You can see that today's bitcoin prices have fallen sharply, and are still in a downtrend. I believe bitcoin prices will continue to fall sharply and reach $ 7400, so you may be able to buy bitcoin at that time.

But I am sure that the increase of bitcoin will continually and reach the highest possible price of it just like last year.

Do you understand the investment risk?
I think you need some knowledge in that trade and recognize some coins that will allow btc and eth to hit.
If you will buy eth and hold it, you will need patience for USD which will increase.
And I suggest you try to learn some coin herehttps://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/bitfinex/ (https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/bitfinex/)
just a suggestion for investment in the DASH.QTUM.XMR token

Hi, guys!
I am in cash in Bitfinex now, what would be your advise to do now? What coin to buy or to stay in cash? THANK YOU!

I think you should be able to choose the right one which is suitable for the buy because I think there are some people who suggest buying some coin there but I see no potential rise in the coin, so better be careful and always look at market conditions, when market is crowded in the coin then the coin will be suitable for the buy. to be more secure buy bitcoin only.

How much money do you have? ... If it is minimal, it would be nice if you buy: ETH NEO NEM and Qtum they will advance rapidly this year probably between May and June to come. It's best to buy NEO because NEO has characterized itself as one of the most trusted companies in China today, know it because NEO is the only coin fully supported by the government.
Users can still make purchases at this time as demand for NEO coin never decreases.

now we can buy eth, btc, xrp, iota, coin in top 10,but I really like eth btc more than altcoin,if I as you,i will buy eth,btc for the end year and next year
In the world of the crypto currencies, there are so many coins and that their number is even more than 100 but not these coins are this much worthy to go for making an investment into these coins. You need to choose the right coin for investing of your money and that you can only do when you will be having enough of the knowledge regarding the things related to that of the crypto market. Bitcoin, ripple, neo, litecoin all of them are good option to invest your money.

It is better to start investing to ICOs but be careful and diversify risks.

The next upcoming ICO is lccx.io (http://lccx.io) - looks like promising exchange based in London.  Well developed white paper, experienced team, located in politically stable jurisdiction.

I think that all those who want to invest in digital currency are full aware of the risk, because no business is there in the world which has no risk. You will have o take risks to be a successful businessman or trader experience is also necessary. For me the first option is bitcoin and the Ethereum and then Liza which is a small crypto and is growing very slowly.

Buy coins that have not grown much. Sooner or later almost all coins grow in value, most importantly during the time of selling them, before falling.

Currently best coin to buy now is etherium , xvg , litecoin , gem , dadi , reddcoin also because these are going to make a new high price soon ( I get these information from my experienced trader friends ) .
For small term buy hold coin is dgb , because price is not much high and we can easily manage it for the perfect profit for weekly buy and sell .

It depends on your investment. If you have less money for investment then you should buy some crypto with low price, but if you want to buy some bitcoin then you must have handsome money for investment. I think that small crypto is better option because there is a huge potential in these small currencies and you can make money with your investment.

Buy alts and bitcoin. because all of them is a good investment and can lead you to earning alot but invest in different types of coins so that if the other coin didn't end well there's still more coins that can make you brake even or still profit.

Buy whatever you want to buy. This can be ETH, Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. The ultimate goal is the profit maximization right. Do buy when the prices are down and the market is red. This will help you maximize profit if you hold the coins for long. A currency investment in Bitcoin and ETH will prove fruitful because there is an increasing trend in the demand of both as a result of which, the prices will rise in days to come.

Actually we make a decision on what to buy, people will say buy those coins that are performing now because they have a
good long term profit, but for me I would always say that learn to diversify, buy new coins now because they are cheap and has
more room to progress, as long as you do research you'll likely succeed.

Bitcoin, the world’s largest cryptocurrency whose coins are collectively worth $137 billion.

Ripple, the third-most valuable cryptocurrency worth $23 billion.

EOS, ranked no. 6 and worth around $5 billion.

NEO, the ninth-largest virtual currency worth just under $4 billion.

Steem, which is tiny by comparison with only around $450 million worth of coins in circulation

There are many good coins to buy and hold them some of them I am holding are ETH, ETC, NEO, Waves, ADA, MANA and many more also you can hold them for the long term.

It is always a good decision to buy coins at the top of the list and coins have greater demand and market value. You must have a very good amount of money if you plan on having a lot of coins in your wallet because the market value of the coins is considered very high and it will demand you to invest a large sum of money as well

It's good for long term but not a high potential anymore, if we like higher potential then I think we should choose those coin that
are undervalued right now because if that will succeed we will make profit like those who have invested in ETH and bitcoin during it's early stage.

You know you can always do long-term investments even with cryptocurrencies. It is inaccurate to say that just because the price of cryptos is heavily pump and dump constrained, it is no longer viable for long term investments. Just so you know, I have a friend who has been with Bitcoin since 2013, and since then his earnings have reached surmountable limits. Since Bitcoin's price gone up, his Bitcoin wealth gone up so high beyond his expectations, hence, there are no regrets on his part. Here, I only mentioned one of my many friends who have the same fate. And so as for me, best coin to invest in is STILL Bitcoin. Trust me, you never go wrong with it so long as you know how to do basic math to ascertain the return on investment on top of return of investment.

if you do not have the knowledge to invest yourself then it is better to not do it, I always find these kind of questions surprising if you were buying a car or a house you will not ask random people in the street what they thought about it you will perform the research yourself and the same rule needs to be followed when it comes to investments on crypto.

very many good coins to buy right now. however, it's all back to you, whether you wish to invest long-term or to daily trading. If for the long term, I think a good coin for investment today is Bitcoin, Ethereum, BCC and EOS. but if for daily trading, I think almost all the coins are good for trading right now.

I believe that at this time you should buy bitcoin, you can see that the past bitcoin prices are recovering very strong, now bitcoin is at $ 8800 and is rising very strongly. According to my analysis, the bitcoin price will probably reach $ 10,000 in the coming days, so you should immediately plan your investment.

I can never recommend to stay in cash as it will lose its value every year caused by central banks printing more and more of it every year and it will be only a question of time until most of its value will be lost! However, if you look for an investment I clearly tend to buy low priced altcoins in the hope they will succeed instead of paying $9,000 for only one coin.

I think you should buy altcoin at this time, it can be seen that the bitcoin price at the moment is showing signs of sideways and this is a very good time for you to enter the market and invest in altcoin. In the past days there were so many altcoin has pump so you can completely find out which coin has not pump to invest.

You need to be very much particular while making this choice of buying any of the crypto coin amongst all the coins which are there in the world of the crypto currencies as investing in the right coin is the only thing which can help you out in making of some good amount of money and that you need to buy the coin only at the right time that is when the market value of the coin is little low.

I like your suggestion brother and that's the reality because sooner fiat will be useless and look how it loss its value, I just hope one day I'll wake up that it will be gone. If I were OP, I use my cash to buy bitcoin because I always see this the most stabilize and established digital currency and have a lesser risk compare to other alts. And hope by now he hop on the train because the bull run had started.

Investing in all possible altcoins will yield little to no benefit. If someone expects crypto currencies to make him rich, he is supposed to go with the potential coins. Market is not going to boost up largely in these months because it is not the way of digital currencies. They make real progress in the last days of a year. In my honest opinion, the best and most promising option is bitcoin.

for now the price of all coins has experienced a price recovery which means if you buy coin at this time seems to have been too risky because the price is all green, you buy coinn when the price is red and which has a very high coin volume, do not buy coin die or no developments from developers.
