As I heard a lot of prediction about bitcoin that it is going to $ 1mn till end of 2020 and people will see it soon. As a holder of bitcoin I am always worried that bitcoin may not go down as I am much money in it. I mostly think that I should sell my bitcoin now and make my money but also fears to post the train of bitcoin. So what are you people suggestions that will bitcoin will always continue to grow or will it stablize at some price or may go down?

It's not new that most of us, holders are worried when we see our investment going down.
My tip to you is don't be greedy. If there's profit, take it.
Expect that there are pumps but it can't happen forever. Balance market, rise and fall.

No one can predict if bitcoin will increase forever.because bitcoin price now is not stable for now but who can say that we never know if bitcoin price will increase or will be stable

well...in my opinion i will choose that way because if the price of bitcoin will increase forever that's will be the greatest news forever.and no one knows if that could be happen.

no one can predict the market and no one will unless that person is either insane or a scammer. But I see bitcoin is on a slow but steady growth and this is good.

There is a logic behind this prediction that as we will not have more than 21 million bitcoins and we have the population of 7 billion, the law of demand and supply will apply if at least 30% of them will get involved with Bitcoin. On the other hand, if there is any negative decision regarding legal aspect from the government, there is a possibility of price fall and hence it is not assured that price will keep increasing forever.

The price of bitcoin must become stable at some point when the whole 21 million is in circulation or at least there will be an average value of bitcoin around which it will show a minute increase or decrease.
As an investor, the best way to go is to keep investing only that amount of your money you are willing to lose or won't mind losing. While saving further and invest when there is a major drop because the BITCOIN is a rollercoaster ride and when would it rise or go down is just a surprise to everyone on board. Just keep ignoring all the negative comments you hear about bitcoin and HODL!You will surely have fruitful results in the near future!

I would  be one the most happiest people if bitcoin price will continue to increase to 1M usd. But whether such predictions is going to be realised; hmmmm "time will tell"

In my opinion, the price of bitcoin will not increase forever, its price is so volatile and it always flactuates. It will reach a low price as well as high price but the trend is not always increasing. But I also believe that in 2020, the price of bitcoin will increase compared to that of the price today. I think you should hold for a while and hope that bitcoin price will increase.

There is definitely no such thing in a heavily fluctuating market. Not to mention that there is no such assurance of increase even in traditional fiat currencies in the form of stocks. It is but normal to have price slumps along the way, just that we experience extremes in the market of cryptocurrencies which is definitely the bad side of it. But hang on, you know you do not earn that much in the stock market unless you own billions of shares in it. To be really realistic about it, average joes can be millionaires with having to own Bitcoins only. In the same context, however, you can also lose as much. It all depends on the amount of investment you have poured into it and on proper timing. That is what sets Bitcoin apart from traditional fiat currency because in the latter, you would have to work majority of your lifetime to be where you are, economically speaking.

well it could be surpass $20,000 but for reaching to $1 million in 2020 that's impossible to happen. I think bitcoin cannot make it that price because many FUD will coming just another bitcoin struggle will happen and also the high fee people will not use bitcoin anymore.

maybe in this investment it takes your strategy and you will take the decision because we also know if bitcoin prices can not we predict exactly but we also know how many investors who already get the results and profits from investing with bitcoin

People assume because Bitcoin is deflationary, it can only go one way. Fiat currency is not deflationary and people keep measuring Bitcoin in fiat. What will happen when you buy Bitcoin with all the fiat money you have, what happens then? You run out of money and you sell your bitcoins.

If the day ever comes that we value goods and services in bitcoins, then even 100 satoshis will become highly valuable due to its purchasing power. Bitcoin will not become valuable long-term as a speculative asset which is what it is today.

Actually i am heard also about bitcoin prediction that, Bitcoin will reach $50k,,,,,,,,,
But now BTC is pumping and some times dumping around $8k to $10k.......
I believe Bitcoin will be a huge pump within this year. So my opinion is don't sell your btc now. Just hold your coin and wait for the next pump.

We can not guarantee whether the bitcoin will continue to rise and then become stable. I think to be stable and stagnant in one price for a long time will not happen, because bitcoin is controlled by market demand and not decentralized so bitcoin prices can not be stable in one price in the long term.

No, I do not believe the bitcoin value is forever increased. The nature of bitcoin is volatility, not an increase forever. Whether it is a natural increase between supply and demand in the future. I think it will continually make adjustments to create balance.

This is a topic something which many constantly debate and there is no perfectly accurate answer. Based on pure logic and reasoning, Bitcoin value should obviously go up with time due to increasing demand and decreasing supply, but we can't be too sure about anything in this extremely volatile crypto market. I firmly believe that Bitcoin value will continue rising in value over time, but will begin decreasing once its supply runs out. Many factors like mainstream adoption of Bitcoin, lightning network integration etc also will have an impact here.

one day bitcoin will be considered rare, i've also read this point of view here in the forum i can't remember who said it so i can't quote him anymore but i think its true. so rare that you can hardly find anyone selling it anymore and the numbers are getting low as well. maybe by that time, the price will also be very high that only those who can afford are the ones benefiting the surge. there maybe more coins going to be used not just bitcoin though.

The current value of bitcoin is okay now, not surprising but atleast it's not hitting the bottom again. Thus, other coins are also increasing their value. However, we wi never know if it will continue to rise or it's just a temporary rise. But, hopefully, it will continue to grow more.

I don't think it's possible. No one can know the future price of bitcoin, but if the price of bitcoin grows forever, the price of bitcoins will become very high. This is going to be beyond our expectations.

At this kind of market condition holders are the ones who will lose a lot of money but if you are a true holder then you will not be affected whether the price drops drastically. I'm also a holder but in this kind of situation, I always make sure that I won't miss the opportunity gain even more, to sell part of my Bitcoin holdings and reinvest it when the price hits the lowest level it can drop. If it is true that the prophecy occurred in 2020, for what reason and how could he think like that? not just for the moment that bitcoin prices are hard to guess, and if we think and look at the facts in depth, what exactly affects the bitcoin price itself? it is a difficult question to answer. but here we think realistically if we get a profit then immediately take, be humans always grateful that there is no greedy nature to get a lot of profit. Bitcoin is something that cannot be predicted because it depends on the market situation at that point of time. Bitcoin works in the present and whatever it is facing now will drive it's price  in the next few weeks. So the possibilities are numerous for BTC. If many people start getting involved with BTC the possibility for it to increase in price are much higher whereas if countries start banning it and regularizing it, the price might fall. The price can increase any time and also can fall any time!!It is simply possible to increase the price of bitcoin forever.Because,the price depends on the number of buying and selling bitcoin. if people keep buying and investing in bitcoin,then the price will continue increasing forever.If they start selling, then again the price will fall down.Exception sometimes can happen too.

For me, bitcoin is perfectly designed not because of its decentralization but because it is strengthened by its volatility. Bitcoin is equally made, as we can see, bitcoin does not lead in inflation or deflation even there is a great fluctuation of its price.

I think 1 Million $ for one bitcoin is so exaggerated. I expect the price to reach new records soon but nowhere near 1 Million.

It can not increase forever by one simple reason: the mining. Over time, energy cost for mining = revenue of mining + some small %

If BTC pris is $1 milj in 2020, it means mining revenue is like $675.000.000.000. Total world energy use is about $2000.000.000.000. So it means bitcoin mining would need expansiion of powerplants by 33% in 2 years. Thats simply not possible in such short time. And even if it was, would never be allowed by governments around the world... If bitcoin price gets too high, governments around the world will start to try to ban it simply because of the energy usage.

I think it will continue to grow.See the prices of any coin depends on it's buying and selling but the most important thing is production.Right now the number of bitcoin is increasing and the trading is also increasing which allows fluctuation to happen in bitcoin.The dip in the prices might be due to many reason but it is not that the prices will remain stable at this point.I am thinking about forever as it is very long but atleast till next 6-7 years it will fluctuate like this.

1 million dollars for bitcoin is certainly an incredible prediction.
Personally, I think that the more real price is 100 000, although this price is predicted before the end of 2018. Now there are a lot of events and it's getting harder to predict.

It's exaggerated but we don't know if one day we will be there but the fact that we are still far from that price still there's more to come to bitcoin. Just don't expect too much and go along with what's the current flow of the market.

In the first place Bitcoin value does not always increase but it fluctuates overtime and based on previous happenings, rises its value extravagantly without the users expecting it. With this, we can only hope that Bitcoin would continuously regain its value despite the downfall movements of its value so it will remain and be accepted by more people and countries.

It will not increase forever, there is no sense if bitcoin will just increase and never decrease. It will be pumped sometime, however, there will be time that it will be dumped. I think that it is necessary to be more realistic. For BTC it is better to use more short term predictions -1 year for example. I think BTC price could be 25-30k$ this year

We should first understand that bitcoin price is driven mainly by the community support and hence it's price would fluctuate based upon the increase and decrease in demand for bitcoins.But bitcoin's supply being limited to only 21 million is an added advantage for its price to increase.Its price seems to have a tendency to increase gradually but the FUD spread by big whales play a vital role for its fluctuating price.Effective implementation of segwit nowadays has once again opened the possibility of bitcoin to be used for payments which would trigger it's demand further triggering it's price.

Bitcoin price continuously increasing its bad for market i think when price too much increase then sudden market correction can destroy that price. but if the demand of btc continuously increasing then value must be increase its all depend on supply and demand.

I doubt that Bitcoin price will be increasing constantly. Bitcoin will stabilise in some point in the future as soon as it will become universal currency. Bitcoin has a limited supply so in theory it should be increasing forever as you are asking. We have to remember that the future is unpredictable and many things can happen such as war, famine or something that could slow down cryptocurrencies adaptation. I dont think bitcoin will increase its value forever. It will follow the supply and demand law. Bitcoin is like a stock market but it is more risky than those on stock market but you may gain a higher profit on this. No it won't. Fluctuations are always part of bitcoin because of its high volatility. It will surely increase but expect some dips as well. The fact that it is affected by the supply and demand, the price is not stable. What to do? I agree with one of the early comments in this thread that if there is already a profit, take it and not be greedy.

The price is defined on the market and it's defined by supply and demand ratio. And supply is limited, that is very important. Only god knows the future. We can estimate only. The price of coins depend on policy and demand, supply formula. It has predict that the price will goes up at current levels. If price goes up then i advice to sale a part of coins and take profit. And repurchase it at low levels between fluctuating. But mind it sale a part of coins not all coins.

Hopefully what you say is exactly what I planned too and then I just hope bitcoin prices really skyrocketed rather than the price before so we can enjoy it.

There is no way for bitcoin to reach $1m dollar and it was like a miracle if it will happen but i believe that it can manage to reach $100k or just $50k because of the market hype sometimes but $1m will not really happen.

You will notice that the price point upwards most of the time. But just the recent drop draw different kind of line. The bitcoin could be considered in its early stage by now, and there are lot of people that didn't know bitcoin exist. By that there is a huge opportunity for bitcoin to grow its users. And if there are growing number of user or holder, there will be a continuous increase in bitcoin price.

Before some days the price was low and suddenly the price started increase and same as happen the price increased from 6 thousand dollar to 9 thousand dollar gradually. I know that bitcoin can be used as a currency but I think it would be having a different approach with credit card because it is from the bank and bitcoin is not entitle to be used in a bank. Maybe, instead of credit card, bank can be used.
