I think what you heard might be wrong. If it was so then there would have been a massive dump and the price would have gone way more down that it has gone now. This might be just another temporary correction and we should probably wait another week or two to see whether the market gets stable or not.
If you see the history of BTC you can see that the same pattern repeats again and again. Once the wave has completed another wave starts and the prices starts shooting up. Just wait for the right time.

You must have patience if you want to benefit from bitcoin, this time the market is red and there is a decline in each crypto coin. Be patient and remain optimistic then you will get a sweet advantage from crypto.

Maybe this is only temporary, because if there are other alternative coins that will replace bitcoin maybe bitcoin prices will drop quickly. Perhaps this decline is only temporary as it happened before.

Bitcoin cannot be replaced by any other crypto for sure as not only bitcoin but all the crypto market have experinces=d a drop in value from the start of the year. From this, we can say that pump and dump in the price of bitcoin also affect other cryptos. And crypto is very flexible and it has a pump and dump situations every year from the start and I think one should HOLD all his Bitcoin for now and just wait for a high pump in the price and I am sure that bitcoin will reach an all-time high this time too.

People not getting bored with the bitcoin investments the smart people just came here to make money in short term and cashing out when their desired level reach is the problem so it will affect the long term holder's mind that the price will increase or not.The other reason for the price fall in this year is lot of exchange hacks and many governments regulations keep scaring the invest on bitcoin free.BUt we can't say they moved to the alternative coin because all the coins prices also keep falling so bitcoin is still in the upper hand.

I think if the community still need Bitcoin services, the market will still confidence whatever and however bitcoin prices. For now on, seems bitcoin is in downtrend and perhaps the fund is moved to alt coins. But if there is new investor who invest on bitcoin, it is possible the price will be upward.

yes of course with a very remarkable increase at the end of last year is very risky to go deeper because people think they've gained a profit then there is nothing to be maintained again and wait for the price is cheap, then do not expect bitcoin will not show a very high repetition well like yesterday, investors will not bring themselves down, this is not a matter of distrust on Bitcoin but it is a matter of when to take the right momentum to buy more, everyone should believe in Bitcoin with a very, very confident, all investors are waiting for taking at a cheaper price, in a situation where people are so pampered, it's a shame if people do not believe in Bitcoin and more trust in Altcoin but all prices are above the control of Bitcoin? There is no such a strong altcoin on the market as a bitcoin at the moment. Ethereum is not bad but way weaker than a bitcoin. Usually, it takes time for a new coin to gain a trust and reliability.

Ehh I'm not too sure about this one. A lot of the market is made up from newbies that joined in 2017 and 2018. For a lot of them, Bitcoin may be their first experience investing in anything. I'm worried if the price keeps dropping the newbies will panic sell because they didn't expect to lose a bunch of money. They came here to get rich quick. Newbies don't have the strongest hands out there... I could be wrong, maybe they HODL by heart, so we will need to see how the long-term pans out.

I still believe the market will break out later this year. Then btc can recover but I think it will not be the same as last year. btc price will be 15k.

I don't think there is anything like boring stuff here! After all its money from everything and when it comes to that then people are never bored about it. I don't think investors switched to other coin as an alternative. As a matter of fact, all altcoins now are bleeding. Bitcoin is still the king of all coins. Market has their ups and downs. Bitcoin price now may be lower since the start of the year, but it will recover soon. I am still confident with BTC.

In addition bitcoin is just on its early age where as it is very risky but as we all know everything go through stages and bitcoin is on its recovery stage and just waiting for the peak stage where bitcoin control crypto currency. Bitcoin is liks a gold of digital currency and therefore time will come that the bitcoin will continue to reign and stays at rank 1. All we need to do is wait for the perfect time and have patience.

I would say that the majority of the people who invested in november/december
last have already got out. I would also think that bitcoin has more backing than
when I entered back in January 2017.

I dont believe that long term investors or holders sold out, yes some probably
took advantage of the prices in January/february with some of their holdings
but those people are still in.

Overall i recon the market has changed with some newbies still involved, some
early adopters who no longer in and institutional investments.

People are panicking as for this price fluctuation. But, this is one of its natures. Don't worry about this. The price will certainly increase very soon. Be positive about it.

I think the true bitcoin lovers will keep their faith on bitcoin and wait till the price rises. I also believe that the price will certainly rise sooner or later. I don't think the investors will get bored and switch to some other coin.

I do not know what will happen in the future. I can not say that it will be 100K like other people, 1 million. But now there are so many people interested in crypto money. This proves to be a future.

The only force that have the direct control on the price of bitcoin is the force of demands once the volumes of demands get high or low it will reflect on the Price of bitcoin in the market, bitcoin has always survived many attacks on it market from FUDS and other agency of government's. Honestly, it is certain that all the market is linked to the evolution of Bitcoin, and IMO the weak point of a market is that issue (the cryptocurrencies are the followers of Bitcoin), that's why the whales can manipulate this market in an easy way, and the same thing for the governments, when they want to destroy the market, then the easiest way for that is just attacking Bitcoin.

Moreover, it is true that we waited a long period of time in hopes of a good development on the market, but unfortunately, nothing is important and good, and the continuation of crisis has always existed, for me we must just be patient  and HODL a large amount of money into the best cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ripple, Cardano..), and think this period is appropriate for investing especially in the long term, because there is a great possibility that this crisis will end after a few months.

Agreed with your statement. But you know that there are so many things happened against bitcoin. Moreover, most popular altcoins depend on the price of bitcoin somehow. So I believe that it will not be so fact indeed. But I believe that btc will back soon.

I think there is storm going over the total market. Yes, bitcoin price is falling but I can not find a single coin that is just moving up. It is going on for so many negative news at the moment. So I prefer to hold the patience and take some learning from the market. I believe market will turn to up and will not disappoint us finally.

I think the confidence of the btc investors with regards to the current huge dip,  maybe some had been confused but for others, they still continue to hold their btc's since this will definitely make a comeback in the coming months. This current dips right now is an opportunity to buy cheaper coins and just hold while you wait for the recovery.

No, this is a normal crash like many we have seen before, there is not big transition happening from one coin to the other, people still trust bitcoin but what it happens is that many new investors entered the market not understanding what they were doing and this pushed the price up, then smart investors began to cash out and this created a run against bitcoin and big panic as well and that made the price to go down, but it is only temporary, the price will recover.

What exactly happened? We have attracted the governments all over the world and decided to gang up on crypto that's why the price goes on a free fall since the beginning of the year. And then there is the hacked on crypto exchanges and scams and fake news and FUD that dampens the spirit of even the hard core investors. Could the market get bored? Of course, however, it will not last long though, it might take years, but once the confidence is back, I'm sure that we will bounce back and you will be glad that you stick on the market and didn't give up.

Yes we might have some years of losing interest. Just check google trends and you see the interest is just going down. And it will continue for a while. It's just part of how this seem to work

Not only Bitcoin currency is in difficult right now but the whole market in which Altcoins are included so therefore investors will not shift from Bitcoin to Altcoins but most of them shift to non crypto currencies investments in thats make the Bitcoin price continue to fall. If the crypto market will never shows a sign of progress then i believed that many more will leave this investment and this price drop will continue.

Many people in this platform invest to generate profit. The invest time to time at different price. Some time they invest to make profit and some time they invest to average their investment and reduce their loss. But still the investors are in fear of further fall of price. Actually as you can see the latest news that there is an issue in tue Korean exchange market. As you know that BTc already used as currencyfor transaction, but some hackers stolled the crypto currency from some customer wallet. The impat is a lot of customer impeach the crypto currency security. They seems lost faith of the cryptocurrency. We hope that some wallet will develop more secure wallet, therefore the investor will trust BTC again.

If you look back and have a look at the discussion after every correction phase you will find the similar mentality but Bitcoin has proved them wrong again and again. Bitcoin has emerged with the stronger momentum and we have experienced all-time high levels after almost every correction phase. Bitcoin is still in the early phase of development and hence I don't think that it is a right time to judge confidence or any other aspect of it at this stage.

Prolonged decline in the price of the bitcoin may really lead in a loss of confidence in the cryptocurrency market but I believe that this setback is only temporary. A lot of investors are still holding their coins and they believe that the prices of cryptocurrencies will going to recover again at their own time just like in the past. I've been holding my own coins until now because I still believe in the bitcoin's ability to recover from dips.

Exactly! In my opinion too this period of dump is jut another temporary correction in the crypto market and won't last any longer. But the thing is this is for the second time in a row occurred simultaneously. This consecutive occurrence of the dip in the prices of the bitcoin has let many people to lose their faith in the crypto market. That is why many people have sold their coins in the panic and the fear of a more significant fall in the value of the coins. But I think people should retain theor confidence in the market and opt for the HODL strategy because that would be profitable in the future ultimately.

There is always two plans for any cryptocurrency user. Wait until the price goes down and then buy them. And wait patiently until the price rises up to sell them.

Well said. Base on my research and from what I learned from the year 2016 market correction. Things like this happen sometimes in the crypto currency sphere every 2 or 3 years to create a chance for buying dip before the bitcoin or altcoin halving and it only those that wait patiently and buy in dip that always gain from the market correction.

I know Bitcoin is going to rise to higher heights soon! They can dump how much they want, they will only fool the ones with weak souls. You got to look at the technology not at the price. Market will follow with the development on long term. These short-term fluctuations are NOTHING compared to the long term movement. But again there are a lot of newbie and unexperienced traders in the market who either trade only on TA and get depressed or are just simply too reduced mentally to understand that the technology we have in front of us will change the world.

I agree with you to some extent and even i am observing the bitcoin trending behavior and they way the price is declining with a strong volatility and if it continue's to dump down below $5000 then you can see bitcoin coming back to $1000. And if for any reason we are seeing bitcoin trading near $1000 then i am sure that 80% of the crypto traders and investors are not going to come back and take interest in crypto trading anymore. It is all because of the huge returns and highly volatile market that the people are coming here and investing their funds in spite of banning and strict regulations being implied on them. Definitely, I have huge confidence in bitcoin since day one. When J join bitcoin the first coin thatbI encounter is btc from then I feel like it was love at first meet, I believe that whatever the circumstances that bitcoin faces as of today I know that bitcoin will survive.

Technically, switching to another cryptocurrency won't pay at all because the whole dump in price scenario thing affected all cryptocurrency not only bitcoin. However, the dump in price and market are normal things that happen in crypto market and it even happen in the real business either.

I think this just last year,BTC went up rapdly and reach to 7000 dollars when Ber month comes. As you can see today it is already starting going up. Just be patient and hodl. Haha

Market seems to be recovering and it has reached 6350$ and seems that may be we can see again btc in 7k range in couple of days. We do require patience as it is not easy being so volatile and we cannot keep on selling in panic mode as we only make losses in such sell.

The belief in crypto coins is now declining and it is making the market fall to date, but confidence in crypto coins will grow and will make market prices rise high. Be patient and wait, the market will surely increase.

The key is the adoption. If bitcoin will be adapted into current world finance and politics, it will survive and it can prosper. Crpto market is still very small in comparison with stock or other markets, just hold your funds and you will not be dissapointed.

People most of the time are only concentrated in the short term most people never think on the long term or they do it in vague terms, this is why they are incapable to see this has happened many times already in bitcoin and that after some time the price recovers but even if they knew that information it will be impossible for people like that to hold that long since they never had any intention to do so, so they will prefer to sell their coins and invest in whatever is hot at the moment.

I Think big confidence should be on Bitcoin because everyone has been using the Bitcoin market for a long time in the right way. Moreover, Bitcoin acts as a digital currency. It is a computer software out of hand. So Bitcoin is real.

Well I prefer to sell whatever is hot at the moment and buy whatever is falling in prices(I'm talking about good coins not shitcoins of course). And I'm holding BTC until it reaches at least 20k+.

You know there's a phase that happen in the market.It's not long since we reach the ATH in december,so it's understanable that the price get like this right now.Keep your calm and wait for the next phase,i hope we can maximize our profit in the next ATH.

Bitcoins price is rising steadily and I think it is going to hit at least $7000 soon. Even the fees are getting lower and lower. I kind of feel that everything is going to better very soon. Investors will probably start buying soon and the price might have a bigger bump this month, not big as in getting to a new ATH, but we could make profit out of it.

I don't think that market would be bored ever, But the traders would be. But only they who make investment just basis of side hearing or others suggestion. If anyone invest by doing proper analysis and research, he will not be bored and will be successful in any amount of investment for any term .

That is because we have touch the bottom already and the only way for bitcoin now is. to make a recovery that's why seeing it around $6600 is a good indication that investors have seen's enough and its time to get back on the market again otherwise they will miss the opportunity to make money. I would partly agree with the statement made by the author but the current fall in the market has affected not only the Bitcoin but also almost all the other coins. Never think about short term plans to see a bull run, it is not a magical genie to make you a profit in a short period  :P . The market confidence on bitcoin is high, because of bitcoin popularity and legacy. Bitcoin price now is decreasing but it will increase again for a matter of time. For some that think bitcoin will die because of the decreasing of its price, i dont think so, because the price drops is because of its volatility. I think the drop in the price of bitcoin is due to the fact that a lot of people are selling their bitcoin. I was thinking the same thing, it easy to hodl and wait when you invested small. Some people sold houses and cars and bought BTC when it was 20k, now that was very reckless. I don't invest too much. Max 30% of my money can go into crypto and that's it. If I lose at least I won't became homeless.

I think you misunderstand the situation as of now. As far as i know since the beginning of cryptocurrency, market is unpredictable. If you will check the history of bitcoin you can see the same situation which happening at this time. The pattern always repeats itself. Getting involves in ICO does not  mean that investors are only selling their stakes on bitcoins for new ICOs, bitcoins for ICOs are just for payment method only and investors can bring fresh fiat money into the system and convert it to bitcoins for ICO purchases.

Just to correct you, the price suddenly shoots up to $7300 now so it looks like the confidence might be starting to comeback. Guess that's how the market really works isn't it. Just one single news will tip the balance and will start the bull run that we all have been waiting for.
