Nearly one billion dollars has entered bitcoin today according to cryptonic news item.This week has seen btc doing very well and all are excited.I know most people have individual plans for a moment like this,let's hear yours.

This is something very good positive move for crypto currency market. I think the spike will be maintained for another few weeks to make crypto market stabilize or if the price goes down then the market will again bleed. There are many factors for this price rise and the price rise should not stop here and there is more and more to got for crypto market and especially Bitcoin.

It's a good move but a bull run never had a confirmation of their starting period. Current price is still playing along the given lines via 24h charting so it means that the run was on slow phase and not continous.

My expectation? Since the sudden pump triggered the much awaited speculation of getting back again of bitcoin price on it's momentum, I believed that it should move forward by the following weeks. But we must not take away the chances that it may be spoiled again resulting for a sudden price decreased.

Let's just wait what will happened next.

I am with it , i am sure it will rise again . crypto currency is now only solution our financial issues needs

No plans really. Just waiting for it to keep rising to ATH like last year. It might seem impossible as well but it is not just the first time when it has started to grow like this. I guess this bull run could be break through for this year and finally bitcoin will start rising to some heavy market cap soon. Well though billions has entered into the market the also there is possibly that billions may dropped out or many more may just enter. Its all confusing state right now. I will just stick to my oldest plan and thats holding my bitcoin tight and selling ATH.

Yes of course my hope is the bull to keep going, this is the moment that we wait after the last market has decreased continuously then it is never too late to get into it, holding back and strengthening market movement for higher again to return to ATH and possibly outside, a lot of new money coming in is the belief that the market will improve in the near future, but the market is not easy to predict.

Let's hope that bitcoin will start to grow and grow at times in the near future, but this is not accurate. As long as we see a small increase, maybe several billion more?

I guess that this sudden bull run started because of the news regarding BlackRock. They set up a working group to look into cryptocurrency.  BlackRock CEO confirmed that it is a true story. He was against bitcoin earlier. But they are now searching for opportunities with crypto.  ;D

This is a major reason for the bull run and BlackRock is a giant investment management company in USA.

My expectation is that cryptocurrency price will rise gradually in long term when businesses like BlackRock starts to use cryptocurrency.

A billion is a good start. Wee need at least 50 to see some significant change. Remember, BTC had around 333billion market cap when ti hit 20k. Now it's only 127billion.

"bull run begins"? I like your enthusiasm, but tbh, it's way too early to talk about a bull run. What we're seeing right now are just massive spikes in the price which could very well be coming from whales just buying a bunch of btc. Expectations? I just want this upward movement to continue for a few more days/weeks so that we can finally leave behind the bearish sentiment that's been surrounding the market for so long.

Finally after some long time we are able to see some possitives moves on our market, who knows, maybe it is just the beggining of better "era". For me we will be able to see some changes in coming weeks, so i hope that market will recover in this time.

I think it will take some months for the bull run. Again all the coins are falling. I don't know what is the reason for that. But BTC at  7800$ there is a possibility to break again. Anyhow, we can go to the moon for a couple of months.

Oh well I'm still hold it what I have because I'm not hurry to sold it and I want to observe first if this bull run continuously growing until in few months. But I'm totally glad that we see now the bull run is started and I know many people now is very happy to gain a profit.

It is not confirmed that this run is a big bull run. It is already slowed. This may be a small bull run. The trend will be confirmed after the price passed 8200 dollars.

This has been the plan for bitcoin to rise and fall several times each year, Nothing new really other than a few losing their hope and dump when price goes down. We'll see the prices like $10,000 again just the matter of time. Before the end of this year I'm sure that price will reach $10,000.

This has been a good start for Bitcoin to stabilized and able break the 7K market price on the treed, Yes, everybody is exited again, the possibility of Bull run any time soon is on the Air, i heard one crypto market analyst say " this is the Early Christmas Season for Bitcoin". the investors who took the risk bought Bitcoin at 6200 USD are now have the Big  Smile and probably laughing :D :D :D

I just keep waiting for continues pump since i have lost some of my investment..  No plans for now just keep monitoring the market and hoping for big pump soon.. Some alts still bleeding.. Its still unpredictable for me. 

Possibly what has been taking place seems to be the promised bull run start for the ongoing year once after reach ath by the starting of the year. After a long time period, the growth has begun making users and the investors get ready to experience the real pumping.

Yes.Same with mine too.The pump is still in its first week so i still have to observed if this good condition of the market will continue to happen and may lead to the start of a bull run.I don't have any plans yet and i'm still holding my coins at the moment until i see the market all turns green again.

I think when people see such increase they come back screaming INVEST an BUY a lot and sometimes it makes me sick.
For me there is nothing new when it comes to prices. What I hope for is more development and how this technology be implemented more not through making any more alts for projects. If only there are lesser coins, then prices won't be a problem and the purpose of being a true mode of payment may be implemented.

I think it's too early to say that this is the start of the bull run we're waiting for. Hopefully it'll break out the 10k resistance.

Are you fucking serious? 1 Billion dollars is no piece of cake. A lot of people have been saying that bitcoin will easily go to 35k USD and above, once the ETF gets approved and damn, I can't wait for that to happen. It just might make things much better. Trading would become more fun, the markets are so dull for months now. Suddenly, there is hype all around. Hopefully, the hype turns into a reality and doesn't become a total fail. Past couple of days have been exciting, the prices going up and down in a roller-coaster way. I am not having big expectations, but I am hoping for something in the range of 'good'.

I think that it would boost the bitcoin price.After a long struggle in the range of 6,000 dollars,we could expect bitcoin price to cross 7,000 range and atleast stay there for a considerable time.I think that anyone who has not yet bought bitcoin must no more delay in buying it as the time for bull run has come.

Last year,nearly in the same period as now there was a big pump too,so my expectations is that Bitcoin passes atleast the 10k$ line by the end of this summer and maybe we start catching back 20000$ by the end of 2018.I'm confident that this year will  end with Bitcoin stable at 1XXXX$,good enough to prepare for 2019 new All Time High.

In my opinion, I believe bitcoin is now on the move to a bullish market and currently stabilizing in the $7K mark. I think what is best for now is to remain hodl is bitcoin is still on the adjustment period where it will make a great bull run market in the coming weeks. Definitely, if more investors are actually holding, then they could be assured of a greater profit soon.

I won't say that it's a confirmation that the bull run begins now. My expectation is still the same and nothing new with it that at the end of the year we will see and satisfied with it.

Still too early to say the bull is in the market already. There's 9 billion dollars added to the market cap on the 17th when Bitcoin was at $6,700 and sudden leap to $7,000 excluding what was added after that. Its maybe a sign of a dead cat bounce like what happened from the recent pump, or I could be wrong.
I dont know how did you come up to confirm the bull present in the market? It's better if you supported your statement with technical analysis or else I assume youre pulling that off out of thin air.

If this news is genuine or if it can be confirmed by a highly influential news article, then this is the best time to invest in bitcoin while the price is still low and wait for the big impact which will surely give you huge profits.

My expectation of bitcoin price is about 10000$ in this year but I think that a bit later bitcoin will achieve the new highs I do not know exactly the values but I am sure that bitcoin will be more than 25000$-30000$ or even more than 50000$. Of course it need to wait some time to achieve such high values.

Unless we see some serious money get back nto the market we can't expect some big price jumps. BTC's market cap was at 333billion and that's more than 2times more than it's now.

So if this a news it is very positive that bull was near to come so we must be prepare on what happen all coins would rise according in the news specially it was rely on the market cap of each coin on how strong the support for each.

Honestly, I don't expect a significant rise of the crypto exchange markets this summer. Yes, currently the prices of Bitcoin and other crypto currencies are growing, but a bears has appeared suddenly and has dumped some coins down to -6%. I think it's just a game of the "whales" trying to shake the markets during vacations. My expectation is $6000-$9000 for this summer.

I think its too early for now to this bull run theres a possibilty that the bitcoin price will bounce back to the bottom but if this bounceback will not happen in some weeks the maybe bull run is just coming very soon lets observe the market lots of news will trigger the price to increase most likely in Aug if etf was confirmed. 

Even though i support your positivity about this news. One billion is literally nothing in comparison to whole crypto space. I really doubt price went up because of that. When trillions will come, as predicted by analytics , that will be worth speaking about.

We can't tell when exactly the bull run starts but for some referrence, history repeat itself. Probably by the next month August onwards to mention there will be a high possibility that the price of coins pump up. In my opinion bull starts on August.

I also don't expect bitcoin to continuously go up this month but I believe the top coin is slowly recovering from many dips from the first half of this year. Bulltrap is still around the corner so we have to cautious first before investing at this time. The bullrun from last year is different because the price of the bitcoin goes up continuously and the corrections or dips are short-lived.

I think that the bullish trend has stated because bitcoin price has started increasing its price and it is even expected tat it will continue increasing for a long long time. I am hopeful that those people who have lost bitcoin in previous bearish market they will now recover their lost after a long long time.

I don't expect much with the current price and trend of bitcoin. For me, its just a price correction for dumping it in the last few weeks. What I am expecting is the news that will make the price of bitcoin soar like government's acceptance of cryptocurrency and development that will make the bitcoin more accommodating for everyone.

Now it is impossible to say something definite. But it is likely that by the beginning of August we will reach the round value of 8000 dollars. In case of correction, we will be able to re-buy at 6800-7000 dollars.

Oh this is a great! (I think it would be much better if you include the link of the news that you've read). It seems that the whales are the main responsible for the drastic increasing of btc's price, maybe they are now starting to hoard coins for them to earn more when the -Ber Months come.

Hmm honestly I don't have any plans right now except from hodling. Maybe there's a chance that I would sell a little bit amount of coins for buying a new gadget but this is not yet confirmed ;D.

I dont know it is true confirmed , but i always see the price of bitcoin every hour to check the profit and i think a bullish is near . This is the big surprise to us because many altcoins price are going up.  And i think end of this year the bitcoin price is going up from present to 10k $ or more . But its only my expectations , everything can happen . Let see the year end and have a profit .  :D

Well the rule is when crypto currency starts having bull run then you hold your assets in such situation. Making any move in this period is like calling for the risks by yourself. You can not buy in such situation because that would be like being FOMO investor. So if you buy then you will definitely loose money as bull run may turn upside down at any single seconds. So its better to hold your assets, hold the crypto currency trades and try to be long term holder only. I am excited, yes, but im not too excited about the current situation as it is just the beginning of the bull.

Still there is no assurance that this is the start of bull run so keep investing on the crypto currencies and hoping for the good prices in the near future.My plan is just hold the bitcoin even it goes to new ATH by this year because when we start to sell the coins is the moment which affect the prices of bitcoin and it will leads to series fall in all other crypto currency prices.

This is actually great news for bitcoin and the crypto community however I am still not convinced of the bull run though. I just feel like they are just giving us a taste of some bull run but will eventually fall back again in the next few weeks. In my opinion the sudden pump was a bit „too sudden“. After all, 20 billion went into the market in about 20 minutes which indicated that only a few whales made some moves. Were are also still 30% belos the 200 day average and therefore still in a bear market.

I hope we can maintain an upward trend in bitcoin in the coming months as per previous year. Lots of good news coming in the way of bitcoin and hopefully it can carry our favorite coin to a new all time high.

It is too early to say that there are signs of a bull run. First let the prices stabilize at levels above $10,000. But there is a long way to go before we reach that stage and I don't think that it will occur within this year.

I agree completely and I already said that in my previous post. We need much more fresh fiat and investors in order to break at least 200billion in market cap.

Bull run has been confirmed now with past few days good bullish action seen inside the charts. By this, we can now easily expect some good trending movement to happen by the coming days and i think that we can easily make some good income if we can make good trading decisions. Right now Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple and many other coins are a good option for investing your capital with a risk diversifying method.

While I may not want to celebrate the bull run yet, I must also admit that my expectations are very high with the way the prices might go between now and the end of the year. But let us also be careful about this. If we become too excited about this, it might lead us to an unexpected high rise in Price and a very sharp fall within days. Either ways, it's not good because someone might be hurt.

I'm going to tell you my theory: People are very excited about a possible ETF approval, so they should be selling their altcoins and buying bitcoins, see that the dominance of bitcoin is increasing every day, which shows that my theory may be right , the biggest problem will be if ETF is not approved, we will have a big dump

Too early to tell. Bitcoin price stays at $7400 for almost a week now. Nothing big changes happens in terms of price up or down. No one can tell exactly what might trigger to start the bull market for real. Now more on speculation are in our mind if this will be the start or not. But we all hope that this is it so we can invest more now then in the future we can reap what we sow today.

The market is now retracing and I know that after that it will go up again and would try to make people believe in Bitcoin again. I hope that all people will learn their lesson from that.

Actually, I don't expect such a massive bull run like we saw it in December 2017 to happen anytime in 2018 again, People are just too scared right now to see another crash to follow and won't throw in as much money as easily as they did back then.

This ain't a bull run. There is no support above 7300. This is just another pump n dump.  We are stuck 7200 level from past 72 hrs

It will be great if the value remains between $7k to $7.5k for few days. This seems to be a sign of bull run comung forth in few weeks. I do take this node very positive but what happens is going to be questionary. Just went trough an article from news.bitcoin.com on sudden spike in bitcoin growth took place recently. It says that there might be a spike hitting $8k in 48 hours. Almost 20 hours passed from the tome i went through it. Probably in 28 hours a spike can be expected.

I agree and we might be experience again an another dump before we go to some real bull market. And when the bull run starts it will be constantly surging again and in return a lot of people will be caught their attention and re enter again the market and this will bring more money to us. And some influencer is very optimistic how the market turned out this year.

Yes, I believe that bull run market is on the move which is currently being experienced in btc market. This has been the awaited moment for the btc investors that made them waited for this long. I think that the bull run may continue to move further in the coming months which people should have to hodl and wait for it to happen.

Are you just saying this because of the price that went from $6,400 to about $7,400? That’s no reason for you to start jumping up and down, cause the price can fall I at anytime. We don’t know yet when is the next bull run, I’m sure it will come but I’m not sure when it will be.

we have waited several months for this and I know Rio many people are actually looking out for the start of the bull run. If indeed it had started, then I guess, it is a good time to Start buying some alts and btc then make it grow and real your rewards next year.

Do not judge so soon. We have had a lot of fluctuations this year. I would not start celebrating till we have at least  month of consistent rise. Every time bitcoin has rose this year, it drops to a lower level than past.

I am not very much affected by all this because most of my investment is for long run. But I was planning to start trading for 2-5% daily returns once the market gets stable. I will keep accumulating funds till that happens.

Bitcoin dominance is quite high at over 46% .Alt season existed when BTC dominance was under 35% and dropping. If Bitcoin ETFs are approved, dominance will go sky high as Money is pulled out of Alts in anticipation for a bull run safe haven. ETFs will take 3-6 months to start piling in so the early pump will likely be a bubble of excited retail investors until real Money enters.

Yep, you're right. A few days ago bitcoin pumped, there are quite significant price changes to bitcoin and altcoins on the exchange. But what I noticed, bitcoin and altcoins prices are still not stable. So, the bull has not really begun yet, it looks like we should wait again.

Probably I don't actually know what is called the bull run because bitcoin is only falling from the time at jumps to $7500 and now it is around $7300. I thought the bull run is when the price is going up significantly and continuing to grow.

The volume confirms it, we are in a reversal period and soon the market will enter to a bull run pattern again. We have to be patient for that as this market are still recovering. Don’t expect too much in a short run because bitcoin can’t make any guarantee of good profit look for long term holding.

Bull run I think its too early to celebrate, but you are right we need to have more patience because the market was not perfectly fine when it comes the price status, there are some rumors that in the month of August it will drop a little and maybe in the month of December with the same pattern will have a bull run. There is the tendency that bullish runs will be sustained but the price had been in consolidation and ranging between $7300 and $7400 in the past few days as I was expecting a massive pullback but it seems the bulls had taken over the market.

Any good news affect the market in a positive way. People get encouraged to invest in crypto and with the investments increasing, crypto prices will follow.

Latest grow of bitcoin showed that with 180-200 million $ someone can easily perform such actions, definitely a good sign, lets hope this will continue.

If this continues to become really stable, it could really be possible for bitcoin to go back to the last all-time-high. Of course there are too many believers of this coin and it would not be long enough to make us smile once again. The lucky ones are those who have the patience and have continued holding it. The last quarter of the year 2018 or perhaps january 2019 will be the turning point for a new era of cryptocurrencies.

Well the cryptocurrency industry has seen its worse days in the year 2018 .There are a lot of flatuations now and we cannot say for sure but I like the way you are positive about market bull.Who knows your prediction maybe true as last week and throughout this year has seen btc price spiking.

Yes agree, bull run already started, if you notice the price of bitcoin for the last few days was declining, at present  bitcoin price now is pumping up and it is a very good news for everybody who involved crypro. The number of bitcoin investors keeps on increasing that results pumping it's price.

On one side, I agree to your assumptions based on facts shown by the website you mentioned, but we cannot ignore the second fact here that some institutions might fuck up by kicking the value down once again if and only if, ETF gets rejected (most probably this won't happen). I don't think it really makes any difference as of yet because even if they approve ETF, bull run will take some time to start at such an exponential pace as the money will get in slowly and steadily, and will make Bitcoins reach $50k for sure till this year's end as the markets will turn out to trillions and many bullshit projects will get eliminated from the crypto world. Feel super lucky you've still got a chance to get in at such low levels. Think of those who got in at $1, $5 and even $100, they are the ones who reaped the best fruits of their lives and may still be enjoying investing in Bitcoins. Don't hold your fiat, utilize it and create more wealth by supporting a technology that's still very much new to the whole world.

This seems to be great news for all of us as we all were waiting for bull to hit the market as soon as possible and finally the graphs are indicating that price line are moving upwards but we cant say for how long it will remain in the market before it again start bleeding and crypto prices going down. My expectations are that it reach highest level of this year and reach almost $20000-$25000 and we can sell some of our hodlings and gain profit for which we have been waiting for months.

Obviously I'd buy as much BTC as i could and have it as a small short term investment. Part of the profit I'll get from that short term investment will eventually be placed on a long term investment another part will be for other short term investments of course the rest will be for.my personal enjoyment. I don't have any specific plan as i will continue what i've been doing already. 20 billion dollars did not enter the market, if it did the marketcap would grow by much more. Marketcap increases are not reflective of money entering or leaving the market. If one person buys 1 BTC at $10000 the market would grow by several billions but only 10k entered the market. That's the most basic of examples but hopefully you'll get the idea.

I think the crypto market is still fluctuating, because crypto, especially bitcoin, hasn't found an ideal price. So it can still rise very high or drop to very low. However, precisely fluctuating prices make the market excited because the speculation is high. If the price is stable, bitcoin is no longer attractive to investors. Less chance for a bull run. I love this stable price moment then a bull run later falling drastically down to earth. Still investors do need a bull run to have expected profits. Many have invested huge, I hence certainly require a decent hike.  As it's 4th quarter, we can expect a good growth.

Bitcoin was $5,913 once in June this year, then it was $6,200 in mid July, $5,991 in mid August, $6,300 in mid September and it is $6,499 right now. Where is the bearish trend you are talking about? If anything, we can say that Bitcoin is pretty stable lately, and this stability surely can attract new investors, as other posters have pointed out.

I do not have a problem with people making a mistake in their predictions, the problem is that many see their own predictions as infallible and as if those predictions will become true, that is where things begin to go wrong for most since most of the time our predictions have been mistaken and then they lose money and think the market is against them, which is ridiculous since the market does not care about any particular individual.

A slight fall has begun and seems that due to holidays ahead people are selling some as they would be requiring some money to be spent. Thus couple of 100$ markets has sink in and hopefully it would not be a huge fall and should be recovering soon. Yes im completly agree, the development and acceptence of cryptocurrency does takes a lot of time and we do see a lot of development in regulations. I think soon ICO will become STO and it will mean so much for crypto space cause crowdfunding is one of main advantages of cryptocurrency.

It seems like what you said last July was not too precise because the bull run was not too visible because the bitcoin prices and other cryptocurrency prices currently do not have high prices so I don't think bull run in 2018.

Well, If it's true i will buy more bitcoins and other altcoins that have potencial and wait for the top of bull to sell it before it will go down.

Well why wait then? There's no sign of a bull run so you can get in while the price is still cheap and just HODL. I don't know about altcoins though, perhaps you have to choose along the top 10 so that there's really that potential you are looking for. Instead of buying tons of shitcoins that they bring anything on the table, just my .2 cent.

With a little move, people think it's already the start of the bull run, how funny, I know they are really waiting for it.
Last year was full of hope but nothing happen, but if we still have that hope this year, I think it will pay our patience, and bull run will arrive to us who waits.  No confirmation so far, all we say is only based on our opinion, it will happen when  it's due, that's all I know.

Lol its funny how you guys think that it is really the start of a bull run . didnt you read the date of this thread ?  It says the thread is created in july 2018  , that was last year ago and if im not mistaken the cryptos really showing a signs of a bull run that time  but unfortunately the bull only lasted for about a month or two because after that the value was dumped again at  3k usd and it got stuck until the end of 2018 .  

Which is exactly what we are seeing, since the price began to go down some people have been waiting for the market to recover and making predictions of when that could happen and they have been mistaken in each of their predictions and now after a whole year of failures they are desperate and some of the have began to call the market of cryptocurrencies a scam when we know that is not the case.

The while market in 2019 is hinting for a bull rally very soon moreover technical analysis also giving us indications for the bull run probably first quarter of 2019 we can see price growth

Lol. Did you read my reply? I said there's no sign of a bull run.  And as far as I know there's no sign of a bull run in July as well,  maybe some minor spike specially the last two weeks of July. And then pretty much tank around the $6K-$6500 for quite some time before the massive drop to $3K because of the BCH drama.

I consider this a bull run after experiencing a long bear trend where we have a long draught of price increase, we are much better than what we had 6 months ago where the price is really struggling, but it's not the bull run that we expected to happen.

Maybe next year we will have a different bull run much better than what we had, we are all longing for another all-time high, to prove to everybody that it's no accident that Bitcoin reaches to that level.

This year, we saw an almost four-fold increase in the price of bitcoin during April-June. The bull market has traditionally been expected from the end of this month and throughout the fourth quarter. True, you can expect any surprises from Bitcoin.
