Seeing how the odds are pretty often against you in gambling as the gambling services are for making money out of you and not the reverse, do you still decide to gamble? If so, why?

Of course I still gamble. It's not just for them money, I enjoy doing it. And to be honest it all depends on where you gamble.
If you go for sports betting for example, you can actually have some profit.

The pleasure felt when winning gambling is what every gambler is looking for,answering your question myself would be reluctant to gamble if there is no moment of win at that table.In betting sports or all fair dice in verification so I still gamble cause gambling does't attract my money but vice versa yeah,sometimes funds revolve from one person to another without realizing that someone is losing and some are winning.

Why people spend money on prostitute while they have chance to get AIDS disease ?
Why people spend money on drug although they will got addicted ?

For me gamble is not wasting money and time, obviously because I spend what I can afford to lose and gamble only in my spare time. Like above post, it is for me like a hobby where I need to spend some money to get the entertainment part of gambling.
Of course I believe there be some people say the opposite based on their own perspective. Cant blame them though, as it is their own right to think about gambling.

Yes still people will gamble as they were doing for years even they know that chance of winning is low for two reasons that they are doing this as entertainment purpose and most of the other think that risking small money to make some huge rewards.When you think gambling as fun then it is not waste of money you will get what for you came here but when money making is your intention then it is waste of money and time.

Firstly, people who buy lotteries do gamble in order to make money, but they spend so little on it that they often forget about buying the ticket even. So I wouldn't call them stupid because spending little they still buy a chance to win big. Secondly, there are people who simply enjoy playing various games, and they don't care whether they lose or win in the process. I, for one, adore playing poker, and I don't mind losing a buck or two during a good game.

I gamble but I don't do it with large amounts of money and I do it irregularly. It's just to try my luck with money that I can afford to lose. I will stop when I'm lucky and vice versa. It will be a waste of time if we continue to gamble and don't know when to stop.

I agree.Gambling definitely gives pleasure to everyone who gamble.I personally gamble because i am already used to it but not addicted.It maybe a waste of money for some who comes up gambling and still end up losing.But you can also be an instant millionaire if you happen to win a jackpot.So it's not that bad to gamble at all.

It will differ from person to person as for some it may be waste of time as they could utilize the same time somewhere else which will be more productive for them. This is applicable for those who sit for long hours to gamble in anticipation of winning some amount and still ends up losing.

Gambling definitely requires time and money, if you have gone to the gambling place you must be ready whether you will lose or get money. It's just about luck, so I don't think too much about it. If you do this for fun there is nothing to regret, whether it's losing time or money.

To testing my luck sometimes gamble is the right place to do so but in my view as long as we have good self control while gamble then gamble will not always be bad and i personally do not consider gambling will wasting my time and my money and just do all of it for fun and not pushing myself and enjoy the game is the most important

I gamble to place I know there's a chance of winning for example I join this poker club and then gamble there to win some profit in poker you will know if your card has a chance to win or also try betting on a match game like dota2 or csgo if you are athletic try sports game or ufc.

I gamble relatively often with cryptocurrency, and I don’t believe it is a waste of time nor money. I spend money on gambling mainly for entertainment, and gambling should by no means be for profit. Most of simply gamble to have a good time and relieve stress.  As long as your not losing your house the extra money lost won't really harm you.  I prefer sportsbetting over normal games of chance because I get a lot more action for my money.  Is anything really a waste of time? I do gamble, but only when I'm having fun. I don't gamble to make money on regular basis and I don't gamble to kill time. I also don't gamble with cryptocurrencies when they're down by 80% ;)
When do I gamble? When I'm with friends and we are drunk. When I know I'll watch a football match with some friends in a few days, I tell them to make bets and do it myself, so it's even more exciting to watch.

It's not a waste of time/money if you know your limitations. Once you gamble more than what you can afford that's where it can become a waste of money. To me gambling only becomes a waste of time if it starts to affect your lifestyle in a negative way one example is to be addicted.

I only think of it after a lose but after some time I won't think of it again because i'm thinking of playing again. Everytime i'm about to play or currently playing I don't think about negativity and just think of profit or positivity. It was just a waste of money if you haven't made any profit yet since then.

I feel this a tricky question as each one will have a different view towards the answer, one who likes to gamble will be in favour of gambling irrespective of the odds, the person who doesn't like to gamble will never accept his answer. In my personal opinion I would gamble irrespective of the odds, as gambling for me is like a hobby to keep my mind active. I find it a good way to release my stress, feel excited about the probabilities, and most of all I find happiness in gambling.

I mean I am pretty sure I can find something much better to do with my money, if you combine even the most sane bets I have done in my entire life they probably come to couple thousand dollars, I have spent that money as entertainment, saw it as "going to movies" and all that, however it is still a good chunk of money that is never coming back, I have of course lost a lot more but at the time bitcoin was low, if we take the price for today's bitcoin then I have lost over 20 thousand dollars but I do not see it that way, I calculate it at the price when I lost it which makes me feel better. If I have put that into any other coin, anything at all, I would have over a hundred thousand dollars right now.

I gamble myself but mostly on sport betting and poker where I more or less have a little control on the outcome. Poker requires skill and sport betting you decide yourself which games to bet on.

There are a lot of reasons to keep on gambling even if gambling itself proves that you are not for the gambling industry.

A lot of my friends in the past gamble for fun. They are not using money but thing they have with them like key chains, ball point pens even receipt of something they bought in the past. It may be weird but it is fun. Some also see gambling as a way of releasing one's self stress. I don't see gambling as astress reliever but I do know gambling and winning at the same time will really replenish my energy.

In my case, I usually gamble if there are promotion or contest so I won't feel the house edge that much and atleast it is fun to experience the thrill while you are reaching your target place on contests. But sometimes I bet on sports if I like the teams playing, specially on the NBA and local basketball league

Yes, I still playing gambling but not for a long time because I realize that I cannot win if I played more than one hour. So before I've played, I will decide how much money I will use as the bets and how long I need to play because if I don't do this, I will attract to spend much money which I cannot recover. A gambler is a person who gamble regularly. Based on what you are saying, I think you are not a gambler since you are not gambling regularly, you might have an experience gambling but I don't think that is enough to call yourself a gambler. For me,gambling is not really a waste of time and money if you just gamble for fun and pleasure.Satisfaction is what most of the people are looking.And having to gamble even for few hours will not make us lose too much.I think that's already enough not to be addicted with it.

I'm gambling but not everyday. Gambling is a way to give fun to the people as and as @OgNasty said, if you are not happy spending your money into gambling then its better if you not gamble because in the end, the owner of the casino always wins.

Gambling is really for entertainment only and I think we should really create a big space when we are feeling that gambling is eating all up your time and your money. If you have a family, better make them a priority than your habit or addiction of gambling. If my only reason why I gamble is to make money out from it, then I would be bankrupt by now since I am not as lucky as the others are. Well, probably once in a while when I actually just feel like wasting money for some little fun which could be derived. The fun can actually be there, the fun of not wanting to lose, even if you have set limit for yourself, but it takes a lot of self-discipline, once you have realized anyway that the odds are usually not in your favor 100% of the time, and because of that, you do not want to get unnecessarily engross in it to the point where you find yourself in a position that you do not want to, which in this case can be termed addiction.

Compromising time with family is something that every person should be careful of. If your habits are eating away at that then you should check on them and restrict yourself from playing. I actually think it's a waste of money if you are not getting the benefits, let's admit it, most of us are not making money, we did the opposite is it's just right to stay discipline and limit the amount of money we gamble.

Lucky to say now that i finally get over gambling that much because when i was in high school until i got married gambling is part of my daily living,but its just recently when I learned about Gods word about this area so i made i right turn.but ofcourse i played only now for enjoyment and fun but not to earn something to feed my family

I don't think at all if we treat gambling only with money we have prepared to lose and indeed have time to gamble. There are many people who only gamble just for fun, which means they are ready to lose money and time, even though in gambling they only lose. One can be a fun seeking gambler. If they are playing for fun or entertainment then they can continue playing without a care in the world accepting that the money they put in is not for making money but a payment for entertainment. Thats how many gamblers remain on sites to play more and everyday and as long as they wont end up wasting too much money there is should be good.

Even though your goal is to earn money, investing has its risks but less risky than gambling of course. You should be really careful on investing to other crypto since scams are always there and you would not know when will it find you. Yes I do gamble and I do not think it is. a waste of time and money. The only thing that you will going to miss if you do not gamble is the opportunity to learn, earn and enjoy life while still living. Why I am thinking like this? For me, that was still not a valid reason to continue gambling addiction. It's right to have an allocated fund for gambling but saying that you still choose to spend it all despite of becoming aware to the fact that you are already losing then that's not a good attitude anymore. It's a complete waste of money and time but base on my observation when I visited a casino, for the rich people, that is how they kill time in my honest opinion. I think, rich people or businessmen use gambling places for other purposes. They might use casinos as a place to gather and talk about business stuffs while having fun with their colleagues . It's like playing golf for politicians and other businessmen. There are many goals that people use when going to casinos besides just gambling. The main problem is not about how often we gamble, but how we manage ourself while gambling. It is fine to gamble everyday as long as we are able to manage ourselves. Really a lovable way of being an optimistic gambler. I do also love playing gambling despite of the fact that there are odds and kind of risky playing gambling. It is because I primarily minding of the enjoyment and fun I can attain on playing it and I do not see anything wrong about it because it is really and exciting and challenging game to play and have fun with as an entertainment. Its easy to say to not to become addicted but its really hard to do . Its also easy to give advice to someone but deep inside your also struggling of your own addiction . Yes, i could remember that the very first time i gamble was around in late 2007 and what actually give me hope was the winnings that i saw on the gambling platform by other gamblers. There was nice and fabulous winnings and i thought of myself that, i could win if others could do this, and that's how i started my winnings till date.

I gamble but I don't waste my time just for gambling and there's time allocated for that fun betting games that I'd like to play. Most of my time was at family during day off at work, and I only played gambling when I wasn't having no important task to do or getting bored after work. Thinking that gambling is just a waste of money if being abused, but if you're responsible enough money will not be an issue for gambling.
