Today bitcoin, ethereum, ripple, eos, has gone up over by 12% gain on coinmarketcap over 9billion dollar has been trown into the market in less than 6hours.. is this the pump?? Are we looking at a bull run??

Over 9 billion dollars invested into the market could certainly be a sign however, it is way too early to tell if this is an indication of the bulls or just a mere case of whales trying to manipulate the market like they always do. Let's wait until month end to see what happens then we can hopefully, scream in joy. The bullish run is certainly long overdue. Let's hope this is a sign!

Of course not. this is local growth. after such a local growth, we will fall even lower than we were before. I'm afraid of that.

I hope your observation is right but with the bearish market of last many months i have learnt that we cannot call it bull run yet, unless we see clear break up of atleast three to five resistance levels and we need to see not one day but 4 5 days as green in a week and this momentum has to continue till several weeks before we can announce real bull run.

Bitcoin went up and as usual pulled the whole market along. I think that by the end of the year we will see 8,000. There are too many events in the first quarter of 2019 and the price/market is obliged to react to this.

Bitcoin price really went up and other altcoins too follow suit. I just pray the price will keep rising and not fall again as before . Am very optimistic that next year will be very favourable.

I'm glad you are optimist, but the new bull run is still far away. Bull run won't start just because we want it. Some things related to regulations must happens first. Just HODL for now :)

this growth is just an ordinary correction after a very strong fall. I think the ETH will not be worth more than 110 $, EOS will not be able to break through 3 dollars. After this growth we will fall again.

This is the first time 9billion is pump into the market. The best you can do is trade with than hoping for a bull run. Whales might be at work because due to high volatility of the market.

This is to early to say, it happens many time, even it's happening from last 2 month. Market just bull for sometime and then it goes more down. Whales are just manipulating the market as usual they do. According to me, market will pump next year with daily little growth. But i hope, this is the sign of pump, let's see more days.

Well, it looks like you've observed it well. Today is growing at a rate of more than 12%, after the last few weeks experiencing depression. Bitcoin is back up above $ 3500, I think this good start to the week towards the end of 2018 is over soon. Hopefully I am not wrong in predictions.

The 12% increase in the prices of significant coins including bitcoin and ethereum is a good one. This is a great time again for day traders to make profit. For the start of the bull run, too early to tell. This sharp rise also happened several times for the last two months. But, then followed by downward trend. Let see for the next few days if this continues.

This has happened before and then it dropped down even lower. My guess is that this is nothing but a bull trap and the bears will eventually push it down again. The real bull run begins when the bakkt is operational and big money starts to flow

personally I don't see the bull coming in this late date of the year, everyone would like it to happen but people will need more fiat than cryptomoney rightnow.

That's a very good sign but no one can really tell if this will be it. The market is just correcting itself from the previous bloodbath after the BCH drama. This recovery is somewhat expected to take place. This might be the end of the year bull run so atleast make a move of taking advantage of the discounted price for next year is another story to tell when it comes to crypto values.

Probably it was short squeeze as the short was at all time high . Not sure , but looks like alot of shorters got rekt . Ofcourse i can be wrong and it can go up to all time high hopefully , but anyway who knows =D

Today bitcoin had shown some flashes of bullish sentiment however this is not the time for the anticipated bullish runs as Christmas approaches some investors may exchange some bitcoin to fiat for celebration of this festive period while the beginning of  new year in 2019 could be  the right time for the bulls to take over the market.

Right.We really don't know what will happen in the next hours and days but hopefully,if this price will continue to make an increase,then maybe a bull run is still coming this year.I know this has been the most awaited moment for all of us and if this will be granted,then we can expect a merry christmas for all of us.

I don't think that is the bull is coming, but yes, the trend has reversed to the up price. Although it is not too high, we can see hope for the cryptocurrency to get increase back after it's down for a few weeks. I am still optimistic that the cryptocurrency will be back to the higher price and the bull will come soon. Most likely this is an early stage which may indicate about start of bullish trend. More precisely, it will be possible to say in about a week, but so far everything indicates that this is exactly what it is. I don't think it is really the sign of the bull market to dominate the cryptocurrency space. Maybe there is just a big entitty that buy a huge amount of coins in the market but we should expect further decline of the cryptocurrencies market value.

If bitcoin can shoot back to 5000$ them I will start thinking bullrun is here ,but for now I think it will still drop in price because of the little gain doesn't mean bull is here ,2018 is way off for any bullrun

It would be nice to see a turn around occur at this stage and the market start to experience a slow but steady up trend at least to the previous resistant point but too early to tell if this is nothing more than a short squeeze or if it'll start to build some momentum from here

I think its a santa rally, and i still believe bitcoin and others altcoins still not hitting its bottom, so the price will drop a little bit again to hit a capitulation phase before start to climbing up

I think we need to wait for the next update, I believe that no one can really predict the market or the price of crypto coin on the feild everything may change in a few hours or maybe days and we cannot really have any assurance in crypto because the change of the price is really unpredictable. Nope, it isn't. Don't get carried away by this green numbers. A week ago, Bitcoin and other cryptos declined to same prices and everyone was like, cryptos are going to zero, now few green and bull!? Hard to understand human brain.

Don't quite sure yet, perhaps its just like what had been said previously that this is just some kind of trick to pull the price up a bit and makes many people to also purchase the coins before the whale dumping them again. But i hope this is a real rise of the market.

I pray to God that you must turn wrong. Because, all the bull run must have started like how market is reacting today and yesterday. At the same time a bull trap also is happening very similar to you are mentioning. Anything may happen at this moment just watching the prices of few altcoins which are really temping to invest into them but being cautious preventing me to diversifying my portfolio beyond bitcoins.

Not a big science. If greens are in markets then it is a clear sign of bull in action. But, who told you that cryptos are falling to zero ? That is never going to happen. Ups and downs are happening and that is the real thing of any markets but complete wipe out will never happen unless otherwise there will be any big bug to be found on crypto space.

Having 12% increase does not guarantee bulk run,though is a light in the darkness, now we can be sure that bull run will eventually come even if not now.

We cannot talk about bull run for what happened in one single day. In order to be inside a bull run there must be at least several days or even weeks to confirm that narket trend reversed.

However, it was nice to see price recoveries of even nore than 10% after long dips.

For us to establish that indeed  the bull market is here,  there will have to be repeated gain over many days.  The fact that there is gain today does not mean the gain will not be wiped out by tomorrow's loss!

It is too early to shout Uhuru! Everyone is expecting the greens in the exchanges. There have been moments of such euphoria but it did not last 48 hours. So I rather wait patiently for the full blown bull run when no one will be in doubt.

Today is a good improvement for all altcoins, The increase is quite high for today and hopefully this will continue.

This is not a bull run, but just a small up movement. If we would see 9k USD per Bitcoin before the end of this year, we can say that the next bull run has begun. But till that moment it is only a small price increase.

The increase doesn't mean bull run is here in the market. Maybe it is just a trap to sell your tokens without knowing that maybe latter it will increase a little bit then rapidly get back to dump. Bull run is not like what market is currently showing. We are not yet in enough time to say bull is really happening. Don't be fall. Be careful and be patient must be still with you. Wait furthermore changes to secure your tokens.

We should gather more grass to feed the bulls. it is definitely the bulls in the market now.

It can be concluded that we should fall even lower, but the price should be kept artificially, and therefore the growth can be done artificially.

it's probably just a bulltrap from whale, maybe in the next year crypto market can show a significant change.
with ETH hardfork and it's change from PoS to PoW it will help to feed the bull so it can run again even just a little.

In my opinion. the increase in the price of Bitcoin, ETH and several other altcoins on the market is a sign of a pump on the market. Moreover, the movement of the price chart on the market has increased significantly.

I think it's a pump for a moment. I see the price chart movement in the market is very good today. maybe the increase in the price of coins in the market only lasted a moment. because it's still the end of the year. moreover the movement is not significant.

Everybody is still waiting for confirmations to know if truly the bulls are back for good. For now, We can't say for sure. Because we've had a similar increase recently. However, The pump has been long anticipated since Bitcoin broke the support and trended downwards. I'm still a beginner trader but from the chart, I think It might pause a bit before continuing. In my opinion, 2019 will be massive!

It seems that the bulls are now getting a little stronger and want to seize this market again. I watched the behavior of the top Altcoins during the last days - and as far as I can understand - some very large whale has entered the market in the last three days.

Bull markets seem to occur in waves and at this time the waves have experienced price increases to a very fantastic price, prices have risen while others have no price movements like this.

Too early to talk about the trend change. This may be just a correction, after which a stronger fall will come. Be patient, we will soon all know this fake growth, or in fact the bulls came to the market. To be honest, I very much doubt that now the market will start its way up, there is absolutely no reason for this  :(

Guys, it's just a bounce. This rally will start either not earlier than February or summer. Although who knows what he wants there bull this.

We had that sequence before. We cannot ensure that the bull-run will start now before the year ends, because usually the during this season prices dump a little more. Maybe it's a bull-trap, but, let's wait a little more if the recovery continues.

I remember when that happen, I was thinking that bull run is about to start but thing go down again, so it might be some sort of pump, the year is almost gone and i don;t think we will witness that again, let's hope for a better 2019

Maybe a pump from big players or maybe it is 13th salaries and new year's bonuses which were invested in crypto, who knows :) but i really was already very tired of that bears... and these green candles like a fresh air for me and for people like me now.

No, the bull run is not here and people need to stop predicting the bull market is here when the price goes up for a few hours, are people that desperate to see another bull market that just a few hours of sustained growth can be enough to convince them that the bear market that has lasted for almost a year is going to disappear after just a few hours of growth.

I'll agree it's to early to label it as a bull run as we need it to sustain itself for few days before we can say a bull run has arrived. It's pertinent to note last year bitcoins prices were 20k during this time of the year, and what we're seeing now is some good upwards moments but it's too soon to see those levels. I believe if it can sustain itself we shall see more investments pouring into it, which shall give it further boost to climb up the charts.

I don't think that can consider as a bull run, yes we see some increase on most of the top coins but we should see continuous increase to determine that as a bull run. However, that might be a good sign that the market can still recover in this massive dump on prices.

The market has shown some good signs of resistance against the downward movement for the past three days. Can we yet call it a bull market? Perhaps maintaining this gradual increment on the market for about a week to two will give the assurance of a bull market. Let's continue to hold patiently our valuable coins and not to sell them off. The market needs more awareness creation this time to draw more investors to it.

The market cap actually does not equate exactly to how much money has gone in or out. Rather, it is simply the theoretical liqiudation value.

Cuurently Litedoge on cryptopia looks promising. I have estimated there are around 14 billion litedoge circulating.

I really hope so that the bull really happen now, as what i see the market already starting to turn green.

Bitcoin brought a surprise again with such a sudden increase. As far as I know, the other day a statement was issued by the developers of the BAKKT platform, in which they spoke about the directions of their activities. I think it has encouraged traders and investors. No wonder, Tommy Lee fascinated everyone by saying that Bitcoin will grow to $ 15,000 by the end of December. Apparently he knows something.

People must stop to predicting when is the start of bull market, price goes up just for one days, a market bounce that results in a sea of green with the majority of cryptocurrencies gaining double figures on the day, if market price continues goes up for another two week, maybe it's a signal for market really bounced back, whether this is the start of a longer term trend remains to be seen but at least currently small bounce is good news for the rest.

We don’t really know about that yet, just that over 9 billion dollars was invested in the market doesn’t mean that there will be a Bull anytime cause same amount or above that can still leave the market in few hours. But I hope you’re right, the market just went up a bit, Bitcoin is currently at the price of $3,568.., ETH and BCH also went up, while Stellar is a 4.3% increase and that’s not what I expected from it.

We could not still state that it is already the start of the bull run because there is a high chance that it is still a bull trap especially that January is a month where bitcoin has crash in terms of its market price last year. Why are you still afraid of cryptocurrency price reductions? aren't we familiar with that? in the past year we have experienced a tumbling crash, at the end of 2017 the price of cryptocurrency reached ATH and in January prices slowly declined and until now. We should have gotten used to falling prices and rising prices, all you have to do is take the opportunity. I do not believe that the next bull phase has yet arrived we likely saw a temporary gain in the market from shorts being closed or a rise from an oversold position. We haven't seen any price effect at all, so I don't think the bull market has arrived. There has been a partial recovery over the last couple of weeks, but only from $100b to $130b across the full crypto market. This is compared against over $800b at the start of 2018. We have a long way to go before we can say the bull market is back, I would say we'd need to get over about $250b first, as this would mean we had broken through the resistance that held for a few months in mid/late 2018.

In 2016 we were in a bear market and there were no institutional investors to bail us out and we recovered and went above the 2013 ATH. If this were to repeat we would have to break 20000 again by the end of the year. And we don't even need this much to call it a bull market once again.
