Prepare for both sides ,for better or for worse ,I've seem friends jumping up already as if 2019 would bring amazing smiles to everyone's face ,I'm not saying it may not but be prepared even if bakkt ,ETH 2.0 and ETF happens doesn't really mean we will moon ,just be prepared for both,either it goes right or wrong.

There will always be a chance for bullish to get back again. Basically, the manipulators are controlling the whole of crypto. Even bunch of good news can't even change the trend into the positive trend. But when it gets bullish and then i can go to the roof instantly.

I highly doubt that we will see bearish movements with bakkt, ETH 2.0 and ETF happening I am 100% sure that we will see strong bull market with this kind of events and we might or might not see a huge bearish market after it but ya the bull move will happen for sure with this kind of news, this is not just normal news or events these events are long waited for and will for sure have a very nice impact and whether this impact will continue or will be for just short time that is something I am not sure about.

I really don't know what to believe anymore in this market. We all were waiting for the ETH price reaches $5.000 and for the BTC price we were expecting $50.000 last year in this days. So what happened? You see the prices, went down 1/10!! So after now we don't need to prepare for the worst, because this is the worth we are living in today. But we can wait for the raises and the bull markets.

I also do not know what to expect from 2019. And I can not even imagine how the market will behave. But I would like to see bulls come from the beginning of the year.

The market is still very unpredictable, all we do here is just making our own prediction and riding it.
No one can tell what will really happen but with all the things we experience this year, I think it's just right to expect something big in the future, especially with that great news to come.

This year was all ETF rejection after rejection, so I expect a positive news next year.

Also, ETH 2.0 is gonna happen and BAKKT just moved their launch, so I don't think there will be another postponement.

don't worry too much about these things. none of them matter. we will soon see another pumping season in altcoin market. the only thing that you should be worrying about is whether or not you learned from the mistakes you made in 2017 and 2018 by bag holding pumped altcoins which were getting dumped on you.

everyone should assess their situation and those who lost anything north of 60% are considered newbies and should not attempt at trading altcoins anymore unless they are sure their bag holding mentality days are behind them.

If we consider the history, the curve will say something else. We are not even going to see huge pump 2019 too same like after the 2014 dump. Therefore, 2019 will also be bearish for crypto and in 2020, we may see another ATH in Bitcoin.

I do not think that ETF will be approved in 2019, some expert said that the chance is about 10% that they will approve it.
Also do not expect that Bakkt will be launched on January, they havent got CFTC approval.

About ETF, it is very unlikely to get approved because SEC has not done with their own business. Suing an unregulated exchange and many things before approving the ETF. But do not take it seriously because lately we got good news about ETF from Switzerland, right? that means, other countries might approve it in the future.
and about Bakkt, based on our recent news. It is very likely to get postponed again, because of the regulatory problem (CFTC) and current US Government Shutdown.

Ethereum 2.0 is coming next year? I dont think so, they even relased the Constantinople update, that should come before Serenity update.

I think you are right... a lot of people is already jumping as if the bull run is starting and 2019 would be the year of the most explosive bull run in history... but.... it is still far from certain ... the first signs are there but there is still a lot of recovery to do before we can jump...  ;D

Any sky rocketing is highly unlikely. We may expect a steady or oscillating growth, we even may expect that the price will continue to go up and down as we witnessed the last couple of days. I am afraid that due to this steady price growth, BTC will lose its community and the support of the masses. I expect its popularity to drop in the year to come.

After all the years of success, I don't think this train will ever stop just because of these bakkt ,ETH 2.0 and ETF. First of all I'm pretty sure that as soon as Bakkt is released another dump on the market will "suddenly" happen, because I guess that Bakkt is already encounted in current BTC price. As for ETH 2.0 I don't expect it in 2019 due to a really huge amount of work that should been done to achieve ETH foundation goals.

No, it is not too early to talk about bullish market. Because, last week bitcoin was trading in bullish mode and along with bitcoins all major altcoins also were trading bullish. I believe this trend  will be continuing in coming weeks also. But, in between time we may have bearish trend also. Because, we cannot expect market to remain bullish all the times. It will be in cycle like bullish and bearish market will be coming into action alternatively.

I myself do not care about ETF approval of bitcoin because so far bitcoin has been able to rise on its own without government and any regulation. ETFs will not make bitcoin worse or better because bitcoin will run on its path of continuing to rise higher.

Sounds like you did saw it coming ,we are already in bullish time but altcoins holders are kinda disappointed already since altcoins failed to rally like last bullrun,it seems we have too many altcoin holders in crypto space than that of bitcoin community
