CONTENT ECONOMY and DIGITAL ADVERTISING AT THE PRESENT

Digital advertising is mainly controlled by Google and Facebook. These giant companies are increasing their profit margin every year since they have exclusive access for users’ data. Likewise, they get the biggest share on the advertisement budget as 60 cent out of 1 dollar remains in their platform, which should be distributed among publishers, authors and commenters.

Additionally, typical commenting solutions are obsolete in terms of distribution of money. Money flows from advertisers to publishers but not before the commenting systems like Disqus takes its own cut. Joint will take advantages of Blockchain to calculate the contribution of each participant including the commenters, publishers and advertisers and reward them by minimizing third party commissions.

You can take Disqus as a model, it connects users on every website, users can express their opinions via one account. However they are not getting any rewards in regards to their contributions and their data is being used. Our rewarding system mainly takes users' contribution (like upvote, share, reply, new comment) into account and decides token distribution from the reward pool accordingly.

Blockchain reminds me of when the internet was first invented. It's going to take a little time for adoption, but ultimately I think it is inevitable. It provides so many advantages. I am excited that projects like Joint Ventures will promote the use. We don't really see other blockchain projects as our competitor since what we are doing is different than others. But projects like Lunyr, Steemit and BAT are serving for similar main goals, trying to unlock a new content economy & minimize third party commissions. 

Well, I can say that the regulations are not so strict.

There are not any specific law designed for bitcoin or ICO's at the moment.

I like how experienced your team is when it comes to publishing. You don't have to be a blockchain expert to see how great it is and how applicable it could be to your field. I believe this is a perfect application. Middlemen are a huge issue, just as you state. Cutting them out will mean more profit for the publishers. I expect a lot of interest out of this project.

I thought the same way as you for a long time, if it doesn't absolutely need a token it must be a scam. That's just not the case though. Take Telegram for example, they had one of the most successul ICO's of all time recently and you really don't need a token to do anything they're doing. It's just a convenient and easy way for everyone to benefit.

Writers want to make money, they'd make more money here than Amazon, so they will come as soon as they hear about it.
