Have you heard that telegram created an internal cryptocurrency ? Imo this is the next big trend, I believe that amazon, google and facebook will follow that in the future, and Bitcoin will be dethroned

Erm, no. Telegram launched an ICO for a communications platform on a blockchain that they plan on developing. It's internal, yes, but that means it's essentially useless outside of the system. It's also a token, not a cryptocurrency. The same would go for whatever tokens Google and Amazon decides to create. They're not comparable with Bitcoin in this respect, so it would be impossible for them to dethrone it.

The future would belong to ones which attain global adoption, and tokens that have very specialized uses are unlikely to achieve that.

I do not believe such an end will happen. Whatever it is, I think that Bitcoin will always be at the top, after all, all the cryptocurrency industry is the head caster Bitcoin. Bitcoin has the same relative and gentleness in the cryptocurrency world as USD we use in our normal life. For that reason I believe that whatever it is, it will not happen and that Bitcoin will always be at the top.

It's a very big step for cryptocurrency. In my opinion, the new coin of telegram may become the most popular and most useful. Maybe in future this coin will take first place among all coins.

I think that when the government generally accept cryptocurrencies then the future of crptocurrencies begin.

Regarding the acceptance of Amazon and others by creating them own cryptocurrencies, as long as the use is within the site, this is called tokens.
If cryptocurrencies are accepted around the world, that does not mean we need more than 1,000 currencies, so these companies will not create more currencies.
The best scenario is to accept Bitcoin and the Top 10 Coins as a way to pay

Bitcoin has always been on top among cryptocurrencies. And will always be on top. Bitcoin cannot be dethroned.

Cryptocurrency has a great future ahead. We need this, the flexibility it offers and convenience is great. More people and establishment will be using this in the future. I hope more government will support this and more regulation is passed to curb those scammers.

It could happen because they all have enormous power. With a very strong financial ability then the company can make each cryptocurrency. I agree to this, any new investor in crypto starts with bitcoins. Those investing in alt coins are only some people who already have lot of bitcoins.

Cryptocurrency will be more popular in the future especially to those cryptocoins that are reliable preferably at bitcoin, litecoin, neo, dash and monero. Hodling is very effective at those coins. Many companies, governments and banks are working on developing their own blockchain that will likely to be supported by some cryptocurrency. We will definitely gonna see many currencies from big names in future. But they might not be as decentralised as Bitcoin. I don't see it being as useful as you said it would and the fact that there are a lot of coins who has better use-case than telegram that is still nowhere near bitcoin's price, it would be impossible for that telegram coin to take dominance.

There is actually an MIT study that says that one possible way to kill bitcoin, would be for big names to create a coin as well, and we would end up being with a coin for almost every service that's available to us. A facebook coin, a google coin, an apple coin, an amazon coin, etc. Those coins would be completely different from BTC, because they would be centralized, but I do agree that if those services would be able to convince people to use them, by offering advantages on the services they provide, it could become a threat to BTC.

They would not offer any advantages over fiat, except for commodity and "promotions", but I guess that most people don't really care, and they would use them for sure. People will never understand the true value of bitcoin until a global financial disaster happens.

It's not clear when. If such a coin emerges, it will cause the market to shake.  But it's a process. Until then, Bitcoin still owns the throne.

I agree, even they made a new coin for me bitcoin will still be the mother of all cryptocurrency. Even etherium cant replaced it, so what more to the new coin right? It is good to see new cryptocurrencies coming to the market, we will see a healthy competition in the market, but one thing should be sure about bitcoin that it will be playing the leading role always. We saw the launch of many coins that entered the market saying it will replace bitcoin but no one could. Even today the altcoins follow it, when btc price go high the alts go high and when btc price goes low the alts go low. I don't see the current coins can replace BTC but yes if we got a good one in the future, who knows.  ;)

I think the future of cryptocurrency could very well become the standard technology adopted by central banks around the world for creating their respective digital currencies. If the current general interest continues on this high note, we can say with certainty that there is a great future for crypto-currencies.

bitcoin is the oldest crypto than any other crypto. any decrease and increase in other crypto prices seen from bitcoin prices. so I think no one can overthrow the bitcoin.

If these famous sites will now creating a new crypto currencies then i think it will be just another Altcoins in the process. This is a statement that makes not a few people smile, that bitcoin will be overthrown by a new crypto that they think will be very big from bitcoin? and I never heard the news, but it would be very difficult if the new coins try to match its popularity like bitcoin with a short time, for a long time also do not know its fate, more people will choose bitcoin than others, simple example from now, there many newcomers but so-so, the position remains very far away.

It seems you're not really understanding what is the point of cryptocurrencies, any business and government can create their own cryptocurrencies if they want, the point is if they're going to be successful in replacing existing cryptocurrencies and that is not going to be the case, even if giants like the ones you're describing create their own cryptocurrencies they will never be able to create something like bitcoin, why? Because if they did governments will go after them, you must remember that the only reason bitcoin is still around and it has not been destroyed is because it is decentralized, while the businesses that you are talking about are the example of centralization.

well, hopefully. cryptocurrency has such great potential in terms of technological development, it's just that so many people take advantage of it to deceive others. well, hopefully it will be allowed again, of course it will make bitcoin value for the better.

Are you trying to say that cryptocurrency created by Telegram is going to replace Bitcoin because large companies like Facebook, Amazon, Google and so on might support it? Interesting theory but I really doubt if it's possible. These companies will probably aim to have large amount of people actually paying with cryptocurrencies for their service. Bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency right now and that's why they would rather accept it than some other coin which was created not so long time ago. Adoption is slowly growing, it is a matter of time before large companies start accepting Bitcoin.

In my opinion, it is difficult that your prediction (Facebook, google, amazon..) will be achieved, especially within this year, due to there are many attacks on Bitcoin and cyrptocurrencies in general through the attempts of the governments to destroy all of them, and they even control the social media like, Facebook, Twitter, unfortunately, this negatively affects on the digital currencies.

currencies already. It's not an issue to make profit. What you are saying about
guarantee's is true just partially. Nobody can give you 100% guarantee's, but chances are very high.
    Crypto-currencies have great potential with and without Google and Facebook.
Will they make their own token, or adopt some existing one is not so important.
They will be in crypto-world in one way or another, it's win win situation for all

Actually cryptocurrencies use telegram for communicate to people mostly the investor that join in a project of crypto.  I think google,fb and etc will not be follow as i heard they ban some crypto ads to their platform. And i think they have a big reason why  they want to crypto ads their platform. So we glad that we can use telegram to communicate to the owners of the project so we are updated anytime.

When internet came in existence any one thought that it will be necessary?our ancestors thought that a device (cell phone)will be best medium for communication over all the globe.So crypto currency is also latest technology and majority of people unaware about it and the day is not far crypto will be commonly used.

The issue with the mass mentality is that lack of vision. They can't see the possibilities of growth in the future. The same thing has happened with telephone, television, personal computer, mobile device and internet. Now, the same mentality is criticizing the cryptocurrencies and blockchain. However, every innovation mentioned above is popular just because there were people who had deep faith in their vision and it's our responsibility to keep faith in cryptocurrencies and blockchain and prove them wrong.

Whenever everybody on this planet has a cellphone ($5 Nokia in couple of years) that is when everybody will have access to the financial world. It may not be pretty but sending money through SMS has been possible for some time now and with blockchain technology we have the ability to make that fee less than a penny. They may make their own coins, but before that happens bitcoin will become stronger and will not be easily overthrown.

Dethroning is quite impossible. when you say or heard cryptocurrency, the first thing that will come into people's mind is Bitcoin. and dethroning Bitcoin will create an imbalance system in the crypto World. Nothing will happen until we are clear with norms about such cryptocurrencies. I heard Venezuela made a new crypto currency and tied it with their crude oil the name of the currency is Petro. Now legal structure of crypto is clear in these countries so they are able to make such currencies quite easily. While when it comes to major countries they are still dubious about how to treat cryptocurrencies as whole. So we will have to wait for reaction of the world's greatest nations and then we will see companies reacting to it.

I think bitcoin has proven its worth throughout the years based on the sole fact that it was the first successful cryptocurrency.  I dont see bitcoin every being dethroned due to that fact and it will also be a stable of the cryptocurrency world.  With that being said i dont think bitcoin is the most useful crypto because it does not provide the functions that a coin like ethereum does.

That is why they want to end Telegram. They always fight against the ones who are taking sides with Bitcoin. They are a threat to them. But they are not going to win because cryptocurrency is more powerful than those corrupted governments and banks. Therefore, the future of the cryptocurrency is prosperous if you ask me, even though many people are using it in the wrong way or against its noble cause.

This is just a false speculation. I have never heard of any telegram cryptocurrency besides,  if there is any, I don't think there should be a need for it. Cryptocurrency is not just about making money from it or anything related to it. The main purpose for creating cryptocurrency is solve monetary problem using the blockchain technology and creating a telegram coin/tokens makes no sense.

You are too overwhelmed so you came up to this idea which was possible in your opinion. You need to take a break and some rest.

Bitcoin offers that what people want it to offer, which is a store of value, and a way to move value back and forth. If we also take into consideration that lightning network offers people far more usability as currency, there is nothing else that people can ask for. On top of that, if the need is there, and only when the need is really there, new features could be implemented one way or another, so it's not that there won't ever be a change. The main point of importance however is that while altcoins do offer more features, the majority of the people don't actually use them, so they can be seen as gimmicks. In easy terms, what's the point of these features when people don't actually use them?

Yeah it is likely only a question of time until bitcoin will be dethroned, because there are regularly coming new and promising ICO projects on the market. However, I do not use telegram and have no idea about what internal currency you speak? Can it only be used when you are logged in to telegram? Do you think internal currencies will dethrone bitcoin?

It's a lot of social media who want to block bitcoin. But bitcoin has a lot to know so it can be said too late to block bitcoin in social media. Already many people are investing in bitcoin. I'm sure bitcoin will be at the top as soon as possible.

I think it is  good news. If telegram, amazon,google facebook etc create crypto currency, it will effect the crypto market.  Crypto Currency is the future currency. so, they should create or accept crypto coin.

These wordings are great. Really I am so agreed with this one statement that we are heading toward a paperless society. People often don’t say such rather they say we will be seeing the bitcoins eliminating paper money very soon. However this isn’t right. I think it will not happen, bitcoin is the strongest coin and it is not easy for other coins to beat bitcoin, and I think bitcoin will remain the main coin in crypto.

But the striking difference between banks with bitcoin is that, in bitcoin there is no central authority managing that fantastic database. While the bank database can be edited unilaterally to change the amount of money available, and that often happens. Sometimes it can benefit you and sometimes not.

It can go forward without the approval of the Government, cryptocurrencies future begins when the bitcoin was created by Satoshi Nakamoto, it doesn't need to approve or be backed by the Government cause nobody can uphold a decentralized currency, let their official create their own useless tokens or altcoins, approval or just a recognition can make the innovation in haste, it always falls from the cryptocurrency community and the adoptors.

I don't think bitcoin would be dethroned if the companies decide to create their own cryptocurrency. They have different use case anyway so there is no reason for a traditional company creating a cryptocurrency to get the position of bitcoin unless they can be use every where. This tokens can be use in their own site to make their system efficient in which case not every one can use it. That is because a lot of people and investors are using Bitcoin. Without the support of users and investors, there is no way that a certain currency can last long and since Bitcoin has a lot of users and investors you can expect that it will be circulating in the world for a long period of time.

Cryptocurrencies will continue to grow, there is no doubt about that. The removal of banks and their fees have to happen. But that is not going to happen with with Bitcoin as it is now. Bitcoin transaction costs have to be less than a bank, have some kind of insurance about loss of funds be that through governance or recovery of keys before the vast majority of the population will give up their bank. Crypto has a bad rap because of the hacking. It's like the wild west.

Bitcoin was a very good start, there is no doubt about that. But it is only the start of the journey.

I dont think fortune 500 companies will do what Telegram did. Telegram was raising money through an ico. Crypto isn't regulated so Fortune 500 companies will not take the risk of integrating crypto.
