Title: For those bounty hunters who can hardly relate
Post by: cheezcarls on February 08, 2019, 12:44:31 PM
To all crypto bounty hunters who can hardly relate:

Situation: ICO started their main sale and will last 2 months and offers bounty program. ICO price was $0.5.
Bounty Hunter: I will join their signature campaign! Let’s do this!

After 1 month....

Admin: We decided to pause the campaign because our legal advisor suggests for our product to be fully compliant with the country’s regulations.
Bounty Hunter: (facepalm)

After 1 month....

Admin: Good news bounty hunters! We will now resume our bounty campaign. Since ICO was extended for a month, the same goes to our bounty campaign. Happy bounty hunting!
Bounty Hunter: Yippee!!!

After 1 month (one day before the ICO ends)....

Admin edits the ICO countdown timer and replied: Due to overwhelming demand, we decided to extend the ICO to another 2 months!
Bounty Hunter: Whaaaaat??? (But decides to continue the signature campaign).

After 2 months....

Admin: Congrats bounty hunters! Our ICO is successful! Here’s the final spreadsheet!
Bounty hunter looks at the spreadsheet and replied: 1,000 stakes for me! Yippee! I’m excited for my tokens to be distributed.
Admin: Good for you! We will distribute the tokens within 2 weeks!
Bounty Hunter: All right! My hardwork finally pays off in 2 weeks! Can’t wait!

After 2 weeks....

Admin: I received an advise from our legal advisor that bounty hunters must complete KYC process. Since we have an influx of bounty hunters, approving your KYC might take days to weeks.
Bounty Hunter: (sigh) Oh well, it’s better than nothing. I’ll just do it anyway. (Logs in to site and submits KYC verification).

After 3 weeks....

Bounty Hunter receives an email that his KYC was approved and was excited, however.....
Admin: We would like to congratulate those bounty hunters who have passed their KYC. Unfortunately, we had a meeting with the development team. It has come to a conclusion that our team voted for bounty hunter tokens to be locked and will be distributed after 6 months to avoid massive dumping in the exchange.
Bounty Hunter: Admin I HATE YOU!!!!

After 6 months....

Admin: Bounty hunter tokens are now unlocked. You can now transfer your tokens from the dashboard to your ETH wallet. Thank you!

Bounty hunter transfers his tokens to his ETH wallet. After successfully transferred, he goes to Etherdelta exchange where he can trade his token to BTC or ETH. Unfortunately, the token’s buying orders are empty. Only selling orders appear with the lowest bid at $0.001 per token.

Bounty hunter: F*** you admin!!!!! My efforts are wasted coz’ they’re worth shitcoins!!!!
Admin: (blocks bounty hunter from Telegram channel).

Trust me guys, I’ve been here before. Are you too? 😂🤣😅

Take my merit, dude ;D ;D ;D
It's just a wonderful, the most exact, widespread, short and true story about an average bounty campaign. I experienced it a few times in the beginning of 2018 and I've decided to quit for a while. We'll see what we'll get now in 2019))

Definitely true, I really do experience that moment which I consider myself to only go for a luck. Knowing all the blah3x front the team which is obviously only attracting investors. Well, we know from the start that joining in an ICO really involves a very high risk kind of business and I think investors definitely know it.

Wow,  exactly the way it does plan out,  bounties in most cases are not worth the stress now.  They keep blaming bounty hunters for dumping a project, why won't they dump when they are treated badly.
Respect for this write up.

Yes, this is very true and I can relate to it. In conclusion, all our hard work its gone specially if you think that you have a lot of stakes and the price should be as close at the ICO price mentioned before you joining.

But sadly, it's useless, no value at all and all your hard work and waiting went off the window. Right now this is the sad state of most bounty hunters, that's why I decided to quit bounty hunting for now.

I don't have merit to give, but I say that I can also relate with what the OP has says. I guess it's not really cool to be bounty hunters right now specially how long those projects are paying and the stress it can give you when the price suddenly drops without you noticing it. I think this is the side effect of the bearish trend and I do hope that we can overcome and let bounty hunting be fruitful again.

An absolute true and precise analysis of the bounty campaign in 2018, for me, most especially with the medichain campaign.
it is becoming a long and long wait for me.

I hope bounty programs this year, offers something different.

and one thing; you forgot to add, bounty hunter has to complete AML procedure too
lol

Well written, dude! I neighing from the heart!  :) :) :)
Yes, indeed, the last time everything is happening like this. For almost the whole of 2018, I could not get anything for the signature (postponement, cancellation of the project, etc.).

Take a merit from me too :))))

You OP is the sad true about 90% or more of the campaigns and ICOs in 2018. Let's hope that the trend will change for this year...

Good report. I can personally relate to this as I been a very avid bounty campaign participant. It is frustrating that after all those hard work you exerted in a bounty campaign, you realized you won't be receiving rewards. That is why I have limited myself in joining bounty and concentrated in a more rewarding crypto activity like trading.

Yeah i have experienced the same especially last year or so has been exactly like this for most of the campaigns and i think it is unethical because teams are just exploiting the bounty hunters i have even seen bounty hunters being insulted by the team members after the ico and bounty campiagn is over which is condemnable act.

This is true story for most of the ICOs now a days, they keep on extending their token sales date as many ICOs are not able to reach even softcap within a given time frame.Investors are not investing in ICOs due to lots of scams, after launch on an exchange prices of most of the tokens decreases rapidly now a days even when bounty tokens are not distributed. Bounty hunters need to study project whitepaper thoroughly before joining any project, only a good project can payoff good amount.

That's why i quit from bounty activities few months ago. I understand that the situation is not so ideal for everyone but i just demand that our rights to be fullfilled as we fullfilled our tasks. Please dear developers, be fair. Everytime you pending the payment to the people who helped you promote your project, you just killed your project and your own credibilities. It would be a lot better if u pay in btc, eth, or other coins if you can't put your own on. Whatever your efforts but just be respectful upon the efforts people did to you.

Most of the time, they don't care about the welfare of the bounty hunters. It is also the reason why I stopped joining those programs. Up until now, I have eth tokens sitting in my MEW, without any of value at the moment. One perfect example in my case, joined for a sig campaign for 22 weeks last year (don't want to mention the project) and now I can't sell the tokens that I received because it's worthless. I will pay the gas fee for getting not even $2 . . That's terrible!  ::)

Better earn a lil bit, at least you know you have something at hand at the end of the week. I hope people will stop joining such campaigns because these projects made us fool of ourselves.

I've been there and it is so frustrating. It just shows how powerless bounty hunters are. Those projects are getting free advertisement by paying us tokens that don't have any value that they've created from the air at all. The humor here is good mate. Super relatable.  ;D

dude i read your whole story and can't stop laughing, it's a true fact that all of thoose happened to mostly hunter here and i was one of them, after a few month waiting then they said token will be distributed every three month and it was 4 phase so 1 year in total. and it's like you said the token become worthless when it come to my wallet.
to prevent this from hapening BM should clarify to ICO dev about KYC is it needed for hunter or not and if needed then made it in the start of bounty.
also budget for bounty hunter must be put on trusted escrow agent and be released after bounty finished.

This ain't shit man. The worst bounty I participated in was opporty. Bounty run for 6 months and it took them a year to complete ico--but not exactly. The team decided to just list the token in an unknown exchange with an unreasonably strict kyc. Moreover, the bounty tokens are locked for a year.

I'm not a bounty hunter but it's for sure the problem of most when you have felt each others frustration. After waiting for a long time and wanted to see on how much you made with that token, in the end you'll just say nothing because you are tired already.

Those projects are getting free advertisement by paying us tokens that don't have any value that they've created from the air at all. The humor here is good mate. Super relatable.  ;D
That's what they really do, they advertise and will pay the people with their tokens. And from the beginning they had plan to delay all of those payments and lock the BH's tokens so it won't be dumped quickly.

Thank you for that dude. Appreciated it much.

It would be a lot of worse when a bounty program has Phase 2, Phase 3, etc., that would make us wait for a very, very, very, very, very long time. Just another common delaying tactic and I've experienced that before.

It hurts us a lot after spending months of hardwork and in the end we get zero to a few bucks for all tokens that we get.

You are really on point. This and more we face everyday, there is a bounty that is currently in it's 48th or 52nd week I think (name withheld). I can only imagine what the hunters are going through and how dey will feel if the project doesn't end well. I'm glad I joined just d content campaign. I'm not that patient.

The most annoying aspect is how hunters are being evicted from their groups without any second thought. I happened to me just last week after waiting for 6 months

This is the actual situation of the bounty Hunters since 2018 so people are not making much from bounties and even small becomes harder due to lot of scam bounties and increase in number of participants so people stop doing bounties or this will keep going forever.

I can relate. I have participated in a bounty that lasted up to 10 months, and at the tail end of the reward they came up with some stories that they couldn't reach hard cap, hence the bounty reward reduced.  Bounties these days is just pure luck,  but doesn't mean you should stop participating.

Some projects simply cannot handle bounty programmes. Firstly they are trying to reduce the budget and banning everybody who claims agains it. Secondly after they have released all tokens, hunters are dumping this coin because they do not like the team. -> be nice with hunters :)

It would be funny if it were not so sad. I think many bounty hunters had similar stories. And I'm not an exception. I participated in the campaign for more than 20 weeks and eventually got a pennies. I feel sorry for my time spent.

Damn it I don't have Merit to give to you for this post it is exactly what is happening currently with most bounties, there are some bounties that distribute in time too but still, they go to zero value after distribution and that is because they faked their sales. Bounty hunting work is totally meh at the moment and most payments have no value at all.

it is possible for the Bounty participants themselves there is no point in working, since their work is practically not valued, although this work has a very large impact on the advertising of the relevant project. I believe that the work of the Bounty Hunters and their remuneration are disproportionate.

I think it has become a risk. Crypto continue to just be getting worse and it's the effect on many projects ongoing ICO. just look at this sort of thing is starting numerous found and of course, the bounty hunter and the investors should be willing to be patient and even without results.

It's not easy at all finding a legit ICO treating bounty hunters well. So sad. But I hope some will realise how important it is to treat them well because they can be a part of the community. If they scam their community the'll punished by a horrible dump.
And all of them lying to everyone that bounty hunters have to do KYC before it was announced it's not required: it's only a lie of the team to save expenses for bounty distribution.

This is exactly what is happening in the bounty campaigns. And now most hunters have been discouraged so they no more participate in bounties. Spreadsheet these days are very empty.

You are very right here.
Your narration depicted a picture that we all are aware of but refuse to acknowledge because it hurts .
Maybe.
I am sure most bounty hunters have experienced this and have one take or the other to tell.
This is the reason why so many have quitted bounty hunting .

I think most of the bounty hunter experience a campaign that is really useless and have no value at all. I joined for bounty campaign before and until now the coin has no value at all and the admin still saying that there are developing a good project. Choosing a good bounty now is better, don’t just be deceived by their payment rate and study the project.

Oddly enough, I understand you. I have not conducted any bounty company, but I am familiar with some people who do it and I understand that at the moment the usual ICO and behave. In fact, it is clear even looking at the situation with the ICO as a whole.

Haha. It's very funny and true. The bounty situation is already turning into memes. ;D But I still have hopes for 2019. This should change, but it is unknown in what direction. Perhaps we see the latest bounty projects and in the future this direction will gradually die.

You very accurately described my participation in one bounty companies. I think we've all been there. Unfortunately now it happens with almost every project. I is hoped that in 2019 the situation may change for the better.

I was in similar situations too. It is very unpleasant to participate in such a campaign and do not really get anything valuable. This is one of the main risks of bounty.

Feels bad man. I've just recently started participating in bounty campaigns, I hope things change for the better.
I think behavior like that should also tell investors about how willing projects are to stick to their promise.
And smart investors wouldn't give people like those described any money.

This were all true that is why i hate working as a bounty hunter..but still im here wanted to try again my luck on doing task. Its not really easy being a bounty participants because all the OPs statement were true.I have so many pending tokens on my wallet but i don't even know when my works been paid of and earn profit from it.

This experience isn't funny, imagine a bounty hunter putting his time and effort in every aspect of the campaign just to make some cool money, only to get this as the result, recently i joined a bounty, just the day i thought is my last day, i went to submit my task on the bounty thread only for me to see the bounty has been extended for 60days. What ? I just said to myself, it is the end for me, can't waste my effort that way. At the end bounty hunters will be the last to receive token price must have fallen after the wait.
This is why it would be better for bounty hunters to be paid in BTC or Eth

Title: Re: For those bounty hunters who can hardly relate

Yeah i have experienced the same especially last year or so has been exactly like this for most of the campaigns and i think it is unethical because teams are just exploiting the bounty hunters i have even seen bounty hunters being insulted by the team members after the ico and bounty campiagn is over which is condemnable act.
Here one could add a lot of plots about how additional ordeals and humiliations are first exposed to bounty hunters before not everyone can pass the KYC test. If, for example, you are required to confirm the utility bills in my name, and they are issued to another family member, and the surname may be different, or I just study and live not at the place of registration. Yes, life situations can be mass. However, we are trying to put in a certain framework. This can be expressed in a different way: looking for reasons not to pay the earned tokens to bounty hunters.
And we are offered to do our work first, and only then they will consider whether we are suitable for paying for it.

This has long been a big problem for bounty hunters. And now a far-fetched check of KYC plays a very important role in non-payment, which is deliberately carried out at the end of the ICO or even several months after the end of the ICO. During this time, we must constantly read their telegrams in order not to miss the announced procedure for conducting a KYC audit. Otherwise, all our work for many months may be in vain.

Guys I participated in 2 baunty campaigns newly  and I have to tell you that it is not pleasantly surprised. The campaign managers and the team are trying in every way to not pay a reward for bounty thinking of the new conditions for obtaining tokens. it's always necessary to fill out a new Google form so now it's plausible to wait for the project to exit and register on their platform to get tokens there. but in the beginning all the conditions were simple and the reward for the campaign had to be transferred to the ethereum MEW wallet.

This is literally perfect play story for every bounty hunters around the forum. Yes, this is what happens and this is what the sequence is.

Currently there are more than 15 to 16 bounties in my pending list who are yet to pay me off but guess what its been ages since the ICO started and ended. Lolz.

These people will always lure you with quick rich money style and will never pay us. Sometime I start to feel that it is the same team who is running more than 100's of bounties and looting everyone on their campaigns. It's real shit man.

some bounty campaigns apply such regulations, they don't want to make the tokens offered to be worthless because when the bounty campaign participants get their tokens they will sell them and will make the price of the token on the place of exchange collapse.

Every bounty hunter can relate with posts like this. It's quite disheartening to carry on with a project for over 4 months only to be told that the tokens will be unlocked after 6 months when there's no buy order. Developers are never considerate of bounty hunters, forgetting that our service are of immense benefit to them.

It depends on value of Bitcoin I think. If Bitcoin price will be 1 USD and by participating in bounty you'll get 10 USD then yes, of course! But if it will be 20000 USD then it will be difficult I think.

Real stories that make us want to be angry hate mixed feelings, it's still good to be able to escape KYC. Try if you don't pass KYC, the story will be different and only the words "sincere" or merely "mutual cooperation". Remember shitcoin Caviar, KYC didn't escape even though it's been 3 times, it's been ... the pain. Experience a bounty hunter full of intrigue, funny, sad, happy and heartbreaking.

Unfortunately, not all bounty managers can understand your situation, and will not even try to do it. Most managers blindly follow the established rules and any decision that is not spelled out in the rules will not be made in your favor.

You know, it'd be very funny if it wasn't be so sad :-\
Every single bounty member got into this trap at least once. But there is no success without failures. To be honest I can't complaint about it because I earned on bounties a lot of money in total, because I didn't give up after a few series of this kind of shit and went further.

It is very true that ICOs are can change the rules of bounty retroactively and the hunters are helpless as they reserve the right for changes. Their promises usually changes when the sale is over.

This is funny but this is what the bounty hunter experiencing and what happening  to all of us. This happening make us angry and mad because they always changing the road map and now i am sure that someone was still mad on the ICO because it is happening now that they always changing the ICO end, distribution  and specially  the listing on exchange.

Hat is a nice outline from the OP.
You too might have been a bounty hunter sometimes ago, although I am not seeing your wear a signature.
It is a typical explanation, very short and precise of what happens in to bounty hunters and to investors in general. Most especially for some projects, but not all project does that.

Honestly i saved this thread. i decided to read it every morning as a motivation to quit bounty. i seriously need to leave bounty. it stressful, worthless and demotivating. you miss some lines. i might help you add them.

your bitcointalk account got banned after 2 months of aggressive hunting. you contacted bounty admin.
hunter: my account has been banned. i can not summit work again. should i create a new bitcointalk account?
admin: read the bounty rules: the rule said, if you are banned from bitcointalk, you will loose your stake.
if you remove your signature, you will loose all your stakes.

hunter: you guys are wicked. why can't there been another means of submitting my work. you people are wicked.

admin : ( banned hunter) reason, spam and insults.

if you are tired then you can stop as soon as possible, but there is something better than that, it is a break, not completely abandoning the bounty because I am sure that one day the ICO will be tightened and quality will increase again and there will be lots of good ICO and that means a lot of good bounties

Well written, dude! I neighing from the heart!  :) :) :)
Yes, indeed, the last time everything is happening like this. For almost the whole of 2018, I could not get anything for the signature (postponement, cancellation of the project, etc.).
I agree. There is no good project that I have joined from bounty because they just give disappointment. So many excuses for your effort to paid off which also gain nothing on the end. It really make you stop on what you are doing and just waste of time. Instead do invest on coin that existed already on the market and then trade it, even profit is little at least you see that it is gaining good result than lose.

Such a bitter truth are those all lines! I can relate me with all those incidents! Project managers are not respecting bounty hunters! Sometimes I feel we should do something against them. As you posted this and hunters are replying so we need to do something together to change these scamming rules!
some of them just want to take advantage of the bounty hunter then after that they will take the prize that must be given to the bounty hunter, either by cutting the allocation or in a more sadistic way that is by going while carrying all the gift tokens and hopefully people like it will last a long time in hell

Situation: ICO started their main sale and will last 2 months and offers bounty program. ICO price was $0.5.

Admin edits the ICO countdown timer and replied: Due to overwhelming demand, we decided to extend the ICO to another 2 months!

Even having studied the team, remembering their names and surnames, this will not save the bounty participant from falling into an awkward situation. As a rule, a lot of companies conducting ICO do not fulfill their conditions regarding bounty programs. This is a problem but the author of the post at the end he pointed out why this is happening. The most important point is that there is no demand for tokens!!!Hence the problems with the participants of the bounty.

I understand that feeling. I also have joined a campaign where I spent lots of time and effort in doing signature bounty for 5 months. They should have ended 3 months but their reason for extending it is because of the bearish run. On top of that, they've lowered their allocation and rate as the market goes down. After receiving their token, it got into a huge dump and until now my selling order is still there on IDEX without interested buyers getting that. Yup it really hurts, that's why we should learn how to move forward after this painful process. Just my two sats.

So much relate on this and we can’t do anything about it. The developer have really the right to do that, even if its not on the rules on their first day of campaign. Bounty hunters should look for more campaigns, don’t just depend on one project if you are serious in making money.

Most of 2018 bounty campaigns just like that. The thing i hate most is KYC. i have once failed to pass KYC after 6 months or more work for them. They wont give my reward after all my patiance and the price is very small. Worst bounty campaign i ever had. But im still hoping i will get big reward just like old days.

Most bounty hunters are now treated like a trash or a tool to promote their ICO where in return, you will not be rewarded according to the effort you provided to them. I had experienced this multiple times and stopped participating in social media campaigns and mainly focuses on signature campaign. Why? Promoting their project throughout social media take too much time and you will only be paid for $5 to $10 after 6 months or more of your effort.

I can relate to the OP. Although it wasn't exactly bounty hunting, but I participated in the signature campaign promoting TV-TWO platform almost a year ago, and was promised to be paid with 6,000 TTV tokens additionally to my payments in BTC. All the payments in BTC were made in time, no complaints about that. But I've never received my TTV tokens, and the excuses I was getting from the TV-TWO team were almost word-for-word like those in the OP. I suggest to all bounty hunters to never agree to be paid for their work in some tokens that can worth nothing when unlocked or can be never transferred to you, like in my case. Demand payments in BTC, at least partially.

KYC for bounty is very easy, And why you failed with it. I also participated in a few bounties in 2018 and they all asked KYC, but I passed it easily with my passport.

Thry dont know project success through the help of bounty hunters and they treated like that. Without bounty hunters project will not suceed so it should be paid in proper way and right amount.

It probably impossible cause they are promoting their tokens in the market, it doesn't make sense and a big shame for them if they never used it to pay for the participants.
The reality came into the statement of OP as it usually happen now, we can't deny it and mostly bounty hunters are shouting for their rewards which most likely they patiently wait for almost for nothing, it is really disgusting.

To be precise the name of the campaign was OTPPAY. I know that it an undeniable fact that bounty hunters are those that brings success to most of the ICO.

unfortunately is a very frequent situation in recent times and there is really little to do,team  always put a notice the rules can change at any time, i personally always choose short campaigns of one or two months that are promptly extended by two others month without the increase of token for the bounty hunters and in the end i do not know if they will pay or the final value of these tokens, the solution would be to deposit the bounty tokens at the start of the campaign at an escrow...

As Michael Jackson says 'you are not alone'! This sad story is far to common now and our work is no longer being appreciated. It comes a point where we need to think if it is still worth our time, promoting a project that will never give you any worthwhile rewards

An absolute true and precise analysis of the bounty campaign in 2018, for me, most especially with the medichain campaign.
it is becoming a long and long wait for me.

I hope bounty programs this year, offers something different.

and one thing; you forgot to add, bounty hunter has to complete AML procedure too
lol
Unlikely and there are several reasons for that, first of all the bear market that is making many investors afraid to invest in icos, second the huge number of scams going on which are making that an increasing number of investors question if it is a good idea to invest at all and finally the huge number of bounty hunters, as long as they keep joining those campaigns that do not pay them and make all kind of demands out of them what the OP describes will keep happening.

This is the most common story happen to most of bounty campaigns which I partecipated in 2018..... it's sad but true man... bounty hunting it's 90% of time a waste of time now... :-[
I still continue to participate in the bounty campaigns and I believe that in the future those coins that I earn now will bring me profit in the future

Very well said. At least earning pennies are better than nothing at all, but who knows, one day it would skyrocket. Back then, I was excited, energized and motivated in doing a lot of bounties. Due to the bear market, almost all of the tokens I've earned are "super-dumped" and new ones would distribute like 10% every month or so, which is also one thing I hated about and it will not save us from getting the value dumped. They're not treating bounty hunters equally.

Take my merit, dude ;D ;D ;D
It's just a wonderful, the most exact, widespread, short and true story about an average bounty campaign. I experienced it a few times in the beginning of 2018 and I've decided to quit for a while. We'll see what we'll get now in 2019))

I am also losing my motivation to continue this bounty hunting industry. I guess if the market gets well soon I will go back with a big force to promote ICO's again and again.

I have experienced the same story, when Kyc was rejected and finally got nothing. but for the average that happens now is the process of listing tokens to a very long market exchange, so many tokens are worthless.

I tell you guys this is for real. I don't know what happen with those projects where locking tokens became a thing now. Extensions, Delays and telegram blocking now became a part of bounties because of the market condition. I felt that this is worse than getting scammed in a bounty because you know if your scammed unlike real projects that lets you hope for a reward that is just a dust balance.

For sure bounty hunters are really relate with that because mostly that happen in the bounty campaigns and I think people choice if they are going to join to bounty or not. Taking risk is needed and even the bounty manager did not know if the project become really successful.

Shitcoin mostly hire people to manage their communities, and not many people care about the community. So most of these groups often get spammed and then go into the past

Exactly true. Really i have that experience. Even while working on the bounty are already a lot of shadow and a stupid dream in my head. I've several times experienced things like what you tell to us. As a bounty hunter sometimes feel like we are useless people and they mocked us. We've worked hard but when the project successful they throwing us like trash. Indeed, not all project but from middle of 2018 until now a lot of projects like that. Even we had the bad experience but that does not mean we should stop. Maybe we just not lucky.

Moral of this story: don't stay in one bounty for too long. One month is enough because there are many bounties you can join, some will pay you, some won't, sometimes you won't be able to sell tokens and sometimes you will get nice rewards. Spread your time in a smart way  ;)

Not just empty buying order, if there any buying order, i'm sure, price will plunge away from ICO price.. until now, i don't understand why the price after ICO down drastically and ended with dead coin..

I feel you guys. Its what mostly had been happening since last year. Its very devastating for bounty hunters to see their hard work gone after the team acts like they didn't get anything from the bounty hunters when they were promoted well and got money from the investors. This is what will happen if we support an ICO that has a team that doesn't care to have a buy back program in mind.

I feel more like talking to, the situation is just take as it come for hunters as they have no choice in campaign regulation which I think is a bad sign to the technology , bounty hunter do pass through a lot from all these devs , most especially the shitcoin one as they never ready to help but cheat on every participants after a lot of work was committed and another thing is to get good exchange which also bring bad market to the token , I know of an exchange that if token got listed there then you should expect the worst of the price and there won't be demand also.

In many ways, I witnessed the complete unpredictability of changes in the rules of ICO remuneration. In one project, some changes from administrators were published with a delay, as if intentionally, so that the hunters did not have time to perform certain actions and lost the reward. I think after token unlocked, you have to wait for the exchange listing before you can trade. Trading in etherdelta is not advisable since the price is not relevant to how much is the token during the crowsale. You should learn how to wait until exchange listing is available before you go trade your token.

There is a lot of hunters who complained and the manager will ignore them not all Im means but mostly. There is no one can blame between the manager and the participnats they do their effors like spending time we know that we need to blame to those team who creating scam project and failed project.

Unfortunately the bounty hunters don't have any rights and any value in this market.. Projects uses the hunter in everything that they like and when the payments date come the devs usually cuts their shares or never pays them. When hunter gerts paid usually the projects coin would be worthless. I belive that the bounty hunting work has came to an end. There are no trusts left..

Also experienced that and it's depressing I have huge stakes and tokens, but they are on paper only before they distribute it the value is zero they intentionally did this, so they can't prevent bounty hunters from dumping and unfortunately I still have at least 3 coins that are either locked or still not yet in the distribution stage.

That is why I'm choosing bounty campaign where the token is already in the market, like the one I'm promoting right now, it already has value and development is ongoing, they are not going to scam you and they are going to distribute your stakes, because they do not want to lose their reputation.

And their hard work and effort would just be paid of what about $50 or even less than that for their work .

That is some bad luck for doing your work for almost a year then your work gone wasted because you can't even sell your tokens. Example is that kyc thing, they did not mention it at the beginning of the campaign then ask later which is so bad of course there are people won't pass the kyc for security purpose or if you pass it does not guarantee that your token will be worth just like what happen in several campaigns. The only loss in this campaign period is your time and effort which you can't turn back. Hope we find some good campaign that is not bad.

This is exactly what we suffer from many of this projects. The worst part is that even bounty managers or bounty providers makes it worse too. Look at Bounty0x despite the this issues which we pass through from many of this projects, they still make hunters go through unusual certainties to make ends meet which is collectively a very sad experience

It has become a very natural thing now, the bounty hunters are just wasting their time during the campaign, because some projects only enslave them to campaign for their fraudulent projects.

But we hope this year 2019 will be different and bounty hunters will be rewarded accordingly.

Sad reality about bounty hunters who are victims of this kind of project modus. To be honest we help them promote their project to spread the word about them but has failed their job to pay bounty hunters reasonably. Depending on the time and effort they spent during the bounty program. ICO's are not that good nowadays and for me they should be regulated as soon as possible so that bounters are safe from scams.

What you are describing is not an isolated case, it is the reality of our time. Bounty hunters are treated like trash. First, the project attracts the hunter and gives him beautiful promises, and then comes disgusting!
Every time I join a project, I believe in its decency, and only individual projects are honest. Others are starting to make various decisions to make the life of bounty hunters more difficult, make it harder to get tokens.

No wonder we have a similar result. The market is oversaturated with bad and useless projects, most of them carried out bounty.

To be honest, I'm already tired of such situations! And the further, the more of them! Platforms with guarantees are now being created, that is, the platform through which the company will pass undertakes payment obligations! Hope this helps ordinary hunters!

Oh my goodness!!!! You are absolutely correct also you have given a clear message which will be very much useful for new joiners in this forum. And you deserve the merit as well as this is the reality happening in ICO's these days, once the work is done they are holding, holding and holding to distribute the tokens.

It has become a very natural thing now, the bounty hunters are just wasting their time during the campaign, because some projects only enslave them to campaign for their fraudulent projects.
many bounty hunters suffers from this kinds of act, joining and working without getting anything or if ever they got something most of the
time is not worthy for the time and the effort that they've use for helping the project to raised funds for the entire progress of the said coins,
the only thing is, they can't do anything about this as they are just waiting for any rewards after finishing the bounty campaigns.

Last year I wasted a lot of my time and energy in the name of bounty hunting of which at the end I was not rewarded appropriately citing some of the reasons as mentioned by the OP.
Its was very disappointing after series of postponement of the campaign and the bounty manager later gave a flimsy excuses in the name of KYC I have vowed never to participate in any bounty hunting again except if there is a genuine reason to do so.

It's really true that most bounty hunters experience this kind of incidents and we are always face the same problem when we are about to join in a new bounty campaign, that is why a lot of people start to quit and get annoyed in joining pr participating in bounty campaigns.

Take my merit, dude ;D ;D ;D
It's just a wonderful, the most exact, widespread, short and true story about an average bounty campaign. I experienced it a few times in the beginning of 2018 and I've decided to quit for a while. We'll see what we'll get now in 2019))

It already started out the same in this 2019. Just the exact descriptions. Bounty hunting is now so so tiring but somehow one still finds the courage to continue. Project teams are just trash these days. The worst is pouring insults on hunters at the end of 3 or 4 months hardwork. Very pathetic.

The write up is quite funny and indeed every bounty hunter can relate. Bounty hunting experience has been discouraging lately, due to the nature of the market and the fact that most ICO end up suspending the project or listing far below the ICO price, coupled with the fact that the tokens are released when they worth nothing.

Title: Re: For those bounty hunters who can hardly relate

Well I have experienced something similar. Some projects didn't even need to conduct a kyc procedure. Some just decided no to distribute the Bounty tokens for months. It's just what we Bounty hunters have to endure and move on.

You just put out a perfect explanation or if I can history of bounty hunters. It's very unfortunate and the most annoying thing is that most projects are now copying each other and putting out the same act

Title: Re: For those bounty hunters who can hardly relate

So far, bounty companies do not bring any profit. There are of course rare projects, but again, their tokens or coins you get only a few months later, when their price is extremely small.

This is the most the most annoying part of the whole story. and what makes me get more provoked is that the bounty manager doesn't support the hunters but rather he joins the project team to slaughter the hunters.
A typical e.g is the bounty previously called dominium and now max property.(https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4989887.0)

They now changed the trend and reduced bounty hunters already distributed tokens by 955 and the bounty manager was their advisor, what a pity! That is why I don't pity them when they are tagged with a red trust because they are all cheaters but they pretend to be good.

It should be like that, it's not possible to continue to be trapped in a sense of disappointment forever, people must rise to their lives. Of the many projects that are followed by bounty hunters, there must be one that becomes erratic and of course that is the risk.

I can relate in everything you said, some bounty manager or the project team does not treat the bounty hunters really well. We are just like an investors, we invest our time to promote their project to engage some exposure and bounty allocation is very small but they delay it like 3 months or more. I'm not against with kyc it will eliminate fraud but I hope the allocation will be added to the bounty pool but often I think managers took it.

That's how sad some ICO ended up or hope of earning a good profit. They screw up since the end of the ICO and i've been into that situation too where i found myself taken for granted for what i've done to promote their ICO.

That's the typical life of a bounty hunter so i just never give up and continue doing what i love doing.

This is a funny, but true description of most typical bounty. Well, i still think there are some exceptional projects, but they are few in number.
This is why we still have a long way to go, in discovering genuine and worthwhile projects.

I can easily relate Bro. This is what we face in the bounty industry.  Those guys don't care about use, most of them just want to use us and dump. Once we helped them make the money,  they bring up stories to use against us. I have experienced many of them

This situation is unacceptable and something has to be done to change it. Not only bounty hunters are left unpaid for their work, but they are promoting scam projects meanwhile damaging the reputation of the crypto world in general. Bounty hunters should regard unissued tokens as worthless by default and demand payment in decent currencies. Those projects that can't provide with that do not deserve any promotion.
That is why I'm choosing bounty campaign where the token is already in the market, like the one I'm promoting right now, it already has value and development is ongoing, they are not going to scam you and they are going to distribute your stakes, because they do not want to lose their reputation.

Well, I wish you all the best of course, but I think it has to be seen yet whether working for EMPC was worth it. The token is not listed on CoinMarketCap, and the only exchange EMPC is traded on, $0.09 for 1 EMPC,  is LATOKEN where its daily trading volume is $256, not that impressive, to be honest. I still think you'd better were paid in BTC for your work, at least partially.

LOL! Yes, there's plenty of situations where you can join in and do lots of work only to find out later that there's lengthy extensions to a campaign (and you can't stop contributing or be disqualified) or not even receive rewards at all (usually after many delays) and similar such issues so it can be a bit challenging at times

Hope that is lost for bounty hunters, is it just a bad project, locking bounty hunter's tokens to reduce dump prices? Why don't they pay with other altcoins, if they don't want price of their tokens dump, make their marketing gawk, that's what they want? Even what makes their ICO successful, it's a bit cruel action I think  :'(

It's really sad for the Hunter but in fact it is like this.
We cannot violate them either because it was seen at the beginning of the campaign if the hunter must obey the rules that apply.

This is the risk of Hunter because I think that Hunter is the type of work like the daily freelance worker.

Definitely true, I really do experience that moment which I consider myself to only go for a luck. Knowing all the blah3x front the team which is obviously only attracting investors. Well, we know from the start that joining in an ICO really involves a very high risk kind of business and I think investors definitely know it.

Well, definitely project's nowadays are using the bounty hunters as their free marketers, I'm not really saying just for free but they are getting enough market advertisers but they didn't even be grateful to them.

I do not understand why you called the KYC check for bounty hunters an effective thing. Since the KYC checkout appeared, we have had very big problems with getting a reward for the work done. ICO teams, using their illegal KYC checks, find a lot of opportunities so that we do not pay out the earned tokens. In addition, this procedure is now stretched for long months after the end of the ICO and we are constantly forced to follow the information when, finally, the ICO team will provide an opportunity to pass this test. The requirements are so different, and the procedure for passing it is so confusing that it is often impossible to pass a KYC check. To say that it is annoying would be too soft.

It should be announced in advance by an ICO team whether they are going to do KYC check or not. Changing terms and conditions post factum should be regarded as unacceptable behavior on the side of an ICO team. If it was stated beforehand, people that think KYC is good for them, like mdzahed134 here, would join the project, and others would not, and no one would complain. But the procedure you described looks rather like a scamming attempt than like some measures that can be justified.

It's exactly what happens to most bounties where they delay everything to avoid market dump. They should stop blaming bounty hunters for market dump because bounty pool only consists of a small chunk of the total supply which I think is insignificant to the decrease in market price of the token/coin.  This delaying tactics are not new if you have been doing bounty for almost a year or two.

Not new but still the good excuses from the developing teams, they are still manipulating the mindsets of poor investors, they are blaming bounty hunters fo dumping the projects where in fact the amount of allocated value is not even have a pinch of the total funds that's been collected inside the period of the  icos, it should be paid off as the hunters did their obligations and task.

Right as you say. One of the reasons for the ICO was that one of them offered a high ICO price, but it turned out that when it was exchanged at the stock exchange the price was very low. I had time to think if the ICO was playing with the prices on the market so that the bounty hunters found it difficult to get satisfactory results.

LOL, that is so true, i can relate xD. The sad thing is when the coin listed on some exchange and the price is below the ico price which is always happen on bounty. We as bounty hunters can't do shit about it and only have 2 choices, sell or hold.

Thats why I choose to particioate in a weekly basis campaign to assure my effortand time will pay in a right time compare to ico campaign that promise to pay a huge amount but in the end its nithing.

That was the main problem with how does the project work and how does the project will maintain the project. They doing that for themselves, not taking care any of us, the bounty hunter.

Sounds very familiar to me, lol  ;D
But you shouldn't always think and hope for one project. Take part in dozens of them and hope that one of ten projects will shoot and make you rich. This is how it works :)

Hunters who are rather choosy and successful in choosing projects continue to participate in the bounty program more out of habit, in the hope that the market will soon recover and everything will be as before. But It is worth noting that the number of useless projects is already overwhelming, and it is obvious that this has a bad effect on investments and rewards. We need certain ways to stop the flow of this garbage.

The only way is to stop promoting them, because bounty hunters join on all the bounties which were lauched and keep supporting them causes the investors to lose their money which makes bad though about the crypto currency amoug the people who ivested newly to a project.

dude i read your whole story and can't stop laughing, it's a true fact that all of thoose happened to mostly hunter here and i was one of them, after a few month waiting then they said token will be distributed every three month and it was 4 phase so 1 year in total. and it's like you said the token become worthless when it come to my wallet.
to prevent this from hapening BM should clarify to ICO dev about KYC is it needed for hunter or not and if needed then made it in the start of bounty.
also budget for bounty hunter must be put on trusted escrow agent and be released after bounty finished.
Am sure most bounty hunters can relate to the statement above and I think it is about time we find possible ways for bounty hunters to get their needed respect. You said it well, that is the reality involved in bounty hunting at the moment.

If you are new to this, I suggest you to read this thread carefully, and you'll see that the situation from the OP is not uncommon at all. Unless you are paid additionally in some established currencies for your work, you can end up getting much less than that what you were expecting. Overall I think that if we stopped working for suspicious-looking projects it would be better not only for us but for the crypto community in general.

I always recommend BTC campaigns as you get some real reward for the efforts.

It is well with some bounties. Many of the bounties out there now doesn't really worth hunters efforts. It is either they give very small allocation for bounty hunters, or no trading and hunters will have to wait for so long before they can reap what they have worked for. Meanwhile the family are there looking up to someone.

We really can't do anything when that happens. We indeed have promoted each project well from the start. And when the token for the bounty is locked it won't cause a dump. Indeed, I now see many bounty hunters who throw tokens at low prices. And that makes prices often dump.

This is the sad thing about bounty hunting and its really annoying to the core. What I do really hate hearing is the project managers thinking only bounty hunters dump their tokens. The truth be say, why would a bounty hunter after months of a bounty, wait for months before distribution of tokens and wait for listing on an exchange just dump their hard earn tokens just for a penny? It's hard time the managers think about that and come to a conclusion that bounty hunters also need money for a living but not any peanut.

I only attend bounty campaigns from the Bounty0x, which has many bounty campaigns with pre-paid. So there are no risk that we don't get our bounty tokens, they already claimed for us. This is so funny but very true. It can be very frustrating for us the hunters. There is no guarantee that we will get paid, if we eventually get paid, no guarantee the token will be worth anything. It is quite discouraging. It was worse in late 2018,almost all the bounties I joined exited scam, and some of them postponed ICO and uptill now the market is picking, no word from them. I pray the hunters will smile soon.

Yes, almost every award has at least one of the fun items described. In addition, there were cases of a reduction in reward (REPUX) or a refusal to pay at all (I forgot the example).
I think that now it will always be so, as long as there is bounty. They can create terms and conditions for bounty hunters in order to deny most of the participants under the rules. In this context, it is even surprising that there are still bounties that pay all honest hunters.

Wow,  exactly the way it does plan out,  bounties in most cases are not worth the stress now.  They keep blaming bounty hunters for dumping a project, why won't they dump when they are treated badly.
Respect for this write up.

Let me make it clear to you. Never ever believe that tokens are been dump by bounty hunters and airdrop owners. it is a big fact lie.

How could you say so? If the token is listed on an exchange, at the same time, we saw the transaction history of that particular coin, we can see huge volume being dumped in the market. Would you consider that as an inside job? That they technically showing us some lies regarding the matter?

Bounty hunting is not a very easy task now and its not a source of income one can rely on because most time you won't get paid and most times the bounty would turn scam so its better to make sure you join real bounties only

it all depend on individual, many bounty hunters became investor too, by buying some token on ico, or help hold the rewards token rather than dumping it.

only for promising projects and do not consider all easy matters including the bounty hunter. then the project can be said to think of the affairs of investors as well. sometimes there are some projects that even cheat on bounty hunters, which makes trust in the project less. the market will not be fully formed if the team does not pay attention and is fair on all its developments.

That's all they know, never think of the effort you put in together to make the bounty work waiting patiently for your reward like they said they would earlier, but start the postponement and you start feeling what life have you choosing. I believe most of them don't know exact where their project is heading to.

These type of bounties are becoming normal lately. Most of the projects have already changed allocated amount for bounty and release it later than the specified time.

Bounty hunters can't relate are those who are lazy or newbie on this cryptocurrency thbare always asking and dont make any research or study about the bounty campaign they joined. And sometimes they are those not exerting efforts and hardwork on bounty and they demand a high volume of tokens.and some are they being scam because they dont know how look for a good bounty.

Many bounty hunters do not comply and do the appropriate rules of bounty
projects and usually they do not get rewards. The most common reason are the ones who do not care about them and can not do their job properly a bounty hunters and they are often fooled by scams because of project not reviewing projects before applying. Not just diligenceto make money with cryptocurrency because you also have to learn it for be kind and successful. Many bounty hunters are doing everything to earn money on their bounty promotions but because of lack of knowledge they do not make profits.

Trust me guys, I’ve been here before. Are you too? 😂🤣😅
When performing an ICO company generosity, I often come across such situations as described above.  Some companies just disappear without finishing the reward, others finish the job, but when tokens are heard, the fun begins.  What to expect from ICO in the near future is unclear.  But still I want to say that serious projects are and will be, but, as a rule, this is very rare.

Unfortunately, this is the bitter truth about bounty campaigns. The whole ICO market is struggling for a year now and
Hunters are victims of that as well. Very often not getting rewarded at all or getting rewards half a year later as it should and the biggest problem is that the tokens are valueless after being listed.

But for someone who can't get some way to earn Bitcoin or ETH already, they'll still pursue on what they're doing. It's still worth it if you know the best bounties to join with. This is not an easy task since a project may seems so good at first but with poor marketing it can end up as failure.

Bounty hunters who work on platforms tat already have their tokens prepaid, do not have such issue. Immediately after the campaign they get paid without delay, because it already has a stipulated time.
There are also others, who pay a month after the token sale. Bounty hunters should also learn to choose the best.

It's right. Back in 2017, we had no idea about registering on the ICO campaign website, even registering with their telegrams, and even more so about KYC checks. We wrote messages, followed the calculation of rates in the table and then waited for the appearance of tokens in our wallets. Now, the ICO teams seem to be competing among themselves, who will come up with additional responsibilities for bounty hunters. Therefore, many simply abandoned this activity. The KYC check after the expiration of the ICO is especially annoying, when we are told to follow our social networks, in a month or two we will additionally announce the KYC check. It’s as if we have nothing more to do and we have to read hundreds of messages in their telegrams almost every day so as not to miss the opportunity to check KYC, because we can lose the right to receive earned tokens. Absurd. KYC verification has simply become a form of fraud against bounty hunters. In addition, such verification is generally illegal in respect of participants in the campaigns of the ICO bounty.

Not all project are like this you are just unlucky if you encounter this kind of things. despite the negative, that they are trying to constantly talk about hunters for bounty, I believe that these people are not appreciated and do not pay for their work at the moment when the market is in poor condition.  Lately, there are more and more deceptions of participants of Bounty companies and very often try not to pay their rewards.

A well-known situation, which is now being repeated more and more often.  as there are no legal norms and laws on the cryptocurrency market, bounty hunters will be subjected to similar humiliations by the project's administration, because there is a condition in every bounty campaign: the team has the right to change the rules. As hunters joined to bounty they accepted these rules and risks associated with participation in the project.

Well, tokens do not always have value after they are received.Perhaps after waiting another 6 months, the price will still be more than during the ICO (but this is not always the case). Most of the participants of the bounty can not understand one very serious detail-if no one uses the services of the project and the demand for the coin will not be.Just sometimes projects need time to show progress and increase demand for their product.

I got a similar experience on that not so long ago. I got into a bointy and I worked the campaign to the utmost of my abilities. The bounty rewards are not source of passive income nowadays, having a third party expectations will not save the bounty hunter if there is no additional income. The third world countries are stuck to low salaries and the earnings a from the bounty campaigns can be a good solution to live as they wish. Research before joining the bounty campaigns is not enough, having a analyzed data should help to choose the corresponding bounty campaign in my opinion.

We have all gone thru this phase in one time or another in our careers, it can be very frustrating especially when you have spent months working on that campaign, the most painful part of it all is if you missed a juicy bounty campaign because you weren't allowed to remove the signatures of that campaign so you wouldn't lose your earned stakes.

You went straight to the point. Exactly the way it goes when it is time for reward, several stories come up and at the end ,the effort of the bounty hunter would be gone just like that. Imagine without distributing to bounty hunters and price of token still went down, how then do they say Hunters are responsible for price fall.

LOL. A sad reality. Many bounty hunters have been there and it wasn't a funny experience especially for those bounty campaigns that lasts for three months. It was so bad in 2018 that I personally decided that I won't join any project too early again to reduce the risk of shock and disappointment I might feel if the project fails

Yes, this is indeed a common modus operandi of more and more projects. But I kinda understand them as bounty hunters tend to have quite a negative impact on the price action after listing of the token, but projects should take this into account from the beginning and be transparent about it from the start.

This is the risk of joining any bounty, that is why before joining I will not expect a lot first because it hurts a lot when you get nothing in the end. Last year out of 20 bounties that I have joined only 2 gave rewards and some of them just dissapeared or abolished their project.

Yes, now bounty hunters are simply defenseless in legal terms. This activity is in urgent need of streamlining and regulation. It is necessary to establish an elementary order with a clear establishment of the rights and obligations of the parties. I think it will be soon. States are already very close in regulating ICOs, since very large funds are involved in it, and thefts and frauds reach astronomical amounts.

It happens with all of us. Its very pity when such things happen with the bounty hunters even in some bounties admin doesn't allow to leave the signature campaign in the mid if you leave it before finishing the campaign your stakes will be zero. When campaign keeps extending we should understand things are not really good. At present, I hardly join new bounties because all the projects I am doing keep extending their projects and I see investors are also not taking much interest in ICOs. We should be more smarter while joining the projects to avoid being scammed.

The ongoing bounty campaigns barely pay in the ETH and major bounty campaigns promise to pay the exact reward in tokens after the end of the ICO. Investors also don't want to consume their time with the useless project which there is no proper project management by the team. The similar situations become common for the crypto investors and bounty hunters.

Let's compare the bounty campaigns of the former years and currently open brand-new project's bounty campaigns. The innocent difference can be noticed with the simple research, the previous bounty hunters were not as emotional as today's bounty hunters but the bounty allocations were profitable during the old campaigns. The prolonged payments sent late, bounty hunters don't want to respect the bounty terms and conditions for the before-mentioned reasons.

Such a bitter truth are those all lines! I can relate me with all those incidents! Project managers are not respecting bounty hunters! Sometimes I feel we should do something against them. As you posted this and hunters are replying so we need to do something together to change these scamming rules!

I felt that way after you saw your total stakes or your total tokens and you estimated that you could suddenly find that many project teams would say that they would be inconsistent with what they were saying until they were upset that they didn't want to say anything. to the bounty participants we have no interest in paying you back because we got what we wanted, we have no use. Those feelings are going to blow you away. After the hardships you have given your KYC(know your customer) you have not been paid for your efforts.

this is an exact case of what has been happening to the bounty hunters and it has also been the corresponding atitude of the admin or the campaign manager and they cannot deny it. well, we look forward, towards a better bounty hunting when we will have nothing like that coming up again.

This is an undeniable fact and only if you have gone through this process will you understand it better and relate well. Its really annoying and time wasting for a project to be taking bounty hunters through this hell and consider hunters as some cheap folks who have nothing to do, I have been there before and I can relate positively.

I've participated in 2 projects with a similar format but compare to what you've posted these two projects are still on it, they still did not bid us goodbye and locking their channel, they are just waiting for the right time to do so, they are waiting for the next market to dump their coin, because they have a hard time listing their coins, they are not getting enough support, and they do not want to use their funds to list on other exchange

Lol, omg brilliant!! This is exactly what it is like.  :D

This was my favourite part "I received an advise from our legal advisor that bounty hunters must complete KYC process. Since we have an influx of bounty hunters, approving your KYC might take days to weeks."
Lol yes, their imagery legal team talking about made-up KYC laws. Most projects don't even need KYC to sell never mind for bounty hunters.

You forgot one thing though. You should not support a shit project in the first place. You just chose a project. You need to sit down and take your time to pick out a project you actually believe in and like the idea of and want to see it become real. If you want it to become real then your bounty work will be of a much higher standard since you would genuinely want to get people interested and write nice tweets and things for the project. The more interest and support you give a good project the higher your chances of the tokens you're given to be worth something decent.

If the tokens sell for $1 but there is no use for them then don't be surprised to see $0.01 or worse. After the ICO everyone has seen the project and the hype is over and there is no need to buy more.

sounds like  scam to me and unfair because what if those hunters dont want to do a kyc ? and they didnt know that the project will require a kyc on the middle of thier run  .

i never experience this same exact pattern because bounties back on my time dont have a kyc yet or kyc's are not invented in the ico/bounty scene but i can never forget those fake promises and extensions . it takes a long time before i receieve my shares but  the end the value is only dust  .

Sometimes the team and bounty hunters relationship reminds me of tug-of-war. I participated in bounty companies and 90% of companies at the end always change the rules. Introduce KYC, trim the award and in this spirit. Hunters always work on trust, but I have seen very few companies that justify this trust.

Most of the past bounty campaigns promise to pay thier bounters in the exact time until the team cant be contacted and slowly vanishing. They give hope for thier bounty participants by announcing the bounty distribution but in the end its all lie.

VTOS bounty, from last year, they just disappeared. After few months, right before the end of the ICO they walked away! They left
their accounts (anyone can still visit them on Twitter, Telegram, Facebook..). Nothing led me to think they will do such thing, but they did.
OPP Open WiFi, after two years I still didn`t get tokens from them. Many things were said, they even changed the company name, now
they are Aloha. In Telegram group their admin still says that we will be paid, but I lost my faith long time ago.

Yes I am one the victim of this one! I have joined so many projects and they turned to be scam, I dont have anything to do but to accept the reality that they scam many of us or they didnt become successful in promoting their campaign. Not all the campaign turns into a good news for us bounty hunters. We should accept the fact that many of them are scams now.

It was an incident that I experienced as well, not even in just one ICO project, it happened to some projects that I participated, until I got bored and tired of experiencing it. As a bounty hunter, I'm just annoyed with the situation, let alone investors who invest their funds in the ICO project. we must be really thorough and understanding  before supporting a project.
