1  Economy / Lending / Re: CoinLenders Script :: Bitcoin Bank (Borrow+Deposit) Software :: Demo Available on: November 20, 2013, 07:32:41 AM
I did the calculation when I accepted the deal and offered the specific btc amount (200), and then he tried to recalculate to that day because the exchange rate was up.
After doing my best to guilt trip him he gave me what I had asked for in my email to him. (Almost.)

You will get totally screwed (rather than mostly screwed.) if you accept your principal in usd at the time of your deposit with bitcoin as high as it is now.
This is bullshit. Big investors like you were what allowed his site to grow so he could give out 100BTC loans. Now he's screwed you over. I'm going to wait but I don't really know what I'm waiting for. He's probably never going to return my full amount. It makes me sad when I see the bitcoin price rise now rather than when it used to make me excited.

How many bitcoins does this forum own? Surely since a large number of bitcoins are owned by the forum they could be used to reimburse the members. Sorry if this has already been suggested. I know you could say this about any scam but I think this is a different level and coinlenders was advertised all over it.

He would have more important things to think about. I think he'd like it's potential for freedom though. He was very free.

All CL users with a balance (in the form of CDs, balances, withdrawals, to Inputs that weren't credited) will receive an email update within a week.
I placed a lot of trust in you TF and I still don't think that trust is misplaced. I really hope you are able to sort this out again and clear your name. I'd happily invest in your services again. Unfortunately I'll have nothing to invest if I don't get my CL balance back.

I look forward to the email.

People have scripts set up to claim bitcoins sent using common public keys I think. That's how so many people had money stolen due to the android random number problem.

I was expecting something like this ... lol
Me too! I'm kind of disappointed... Also AM has ROI for people that bought shares at the start but for people like me that got lured into buying shares without the information that it wasn't going to expand in the near future have lost a lot of money.

And aborting is not really an option at this stage!

It's easy to pick holes in other peoples work especially when you just put on the grammar Nazi hat. I'd like to see one of your pieces of work.

I personally don't mind a good spell checker. If I ever want to update my thesis PDF I will have all the typos and mistakes in one place for easy reference Wink.
You are replying to someone who is criticizing a year-old post.
Still, the most interesting part of this thread was the language discussion. Smiley
Indeed! I didn't realise it had been dug up. Just seemed interesting.

Grammar errors, my friend.

I'm glad you were so specific.

I'm sorry! Just got to work. Here's a glaring example:

Page 8 - Introduction

"Moreover, during the design of the application, the security features of the Bitcoin network and infrastructure is to be analysed."

it should be

Moreover, during the design of the application, the security features of the Bitcoin network and infrastructure are to be analysed.

edit:

Page 10 - 2.1

"Cryptography is the discipline of writing a message in ciphertext with the aim of protecting a secret from malicious or unauthorised parties."

"Professional cryptography protects not only the plaintext, but also the key and the cryptosystem as a whole."

2.1.1

Encryption and decryption – algorithms focusing on the mapping of plaintext into ciphertext and vice versa [1], used mainly to ensure data confidentiality.

I had one of these! They were great. But seriously, 0.4BTC?!
10  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mtgox account hacked and emptied by huge mining fee on: October 20, 2013, 07:38:53 AM
Tell him to contact BTC Guild with proof of what happened and they should give him his coins back. Generally pools pay back accidentally high transaction fees and this is a similar situation only the hackers mistake works in his favour.

It is funny how popular these threads get!

What if you are shopping at the grocery store and the terrorist in line in front of you pays for his Cherrios with a ten dollar bill. Then when you pay for your Fleet enema with a twenty dollar bill, you get the terrorist's ten dollar bill as change. The NSA can track Federal Reserve Notes, they have serial numbers! Now you are in possession of evil illegal terrorist money. You could be in jail getting your enemas from Jimmy the Tooth!

I think I found a huge flaw with Federal Reserve Notes!
Incredible choice of items! Thanks for the laugh.

I think the OP is mad! Think before you post please!

credited. what troubles with login by token?
Thanks for the quick reply. The first login I made I tried to login by pasting the url in and it said incorrect token. I probably didn't copy the full code or something though.

Thanks. I'll let you know what I think of the site.
17  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Provably Fair] CaesarBIT.EU - Bitcoin Casino [FREE CHIPS PROMO] on: September 10, 2013, 08:17:52 PM
My login is uf978ogyok1 if you could give me some tokens to try it out.

Site looks nice! I had trouble logging in with the url but just used my username and password instead.

You own this one too! I'm glad the email is optional unlike the other casino I just signed up with. When I click the register button it doesn't work. I'm not having a lot of luck tonight. If I hit return it works though.

Username: Dougie

Thanks!

A script seems to be hanging for me:
http://html5chat.herokuapp.com/socket.io/socket.io.js:1303

I'm running firefox under ubuntu.

Once I hit stop the site still seems to be working though. It looks nice. Although I'm not sure about the flickering number!

If you give me a few bitcents I'll try it out. Can't guarantee I'll try any of my own money out though since I've come to the conclusion that gambling is a fools game! You never know though. I am a fool.
