I like how you went with the $2 USB fans instead of the pricier ones that seems so popular among USB miners.
the pricier fan is by far more powerful. got one of those cheap-o fans to, they suck. If the heatsink is of the correct design there is no need for a howling gale to keep it cool. All I need is steady air movement, my heatsinks reduce the chip temp by 16C. I tested the boards with and without heatsink at the factory (and that was passive cooling). cheers, kev

the pricier fan is by far more powerful. got one of those cheap-o fans to, they suck. I would have thought they blew. It depends on which side of the fan you are on. The LED fans are available on US eBay for < $6.

Very cool idea. However, I think if I had mine in those rigs, they MBs would be sitting in a puddle of molten plastic. here is one of my mining rigs

I was saying heat wise. K'Nex do rock! The exhaust heat on my Sapphire 7950s actually softened the plastic of a milk crate on my first rig.

I only count 15 erupters. Wouldn't that be 4.88GH? 15*333mh = 4995 / 1024 = 4.8779296875Gh

From the pics, I get Zero (0) H/s All appear to be initialized but not hashing when the pictures were taken. Age old question, Why are you dividing by 1024? This is Hash not bytes. Is it 1000 or 1024? http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/9219/what-is-the-difference-between-kh-s-mh-s-gh-s

Why do you think the move up from megahash to gigahash is 1024 and not 1000? We're talking an absolute value of the number of hashes done, not a data size. 333 mhash = 0.333 ghash
