1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Allow Non-investors to discourage you in your Bitcoin journey...? on: Today at 02:58:14 PM
That's probably the most backwards way that you can do when it comes to needing an advice in your bitcoin investment journey, it's like asking a farmer how to fish, you won't get the right answers or worse, you might be misinformed about certain stuff. It's really sad for someone to be discouraged by someone that doesn't know anything about bitcoin but I've heard one of such case back then, it was also stupid on that person's side so he's not free of the blame at all, he followed the advice of investing into this pyramid scheme instead of bitcoin and there was some prosperous days during those times but ultimately, he didn't get anything because it was a pyramid scheme, that person that stopped him from investing in bitcoin ended up running away with all the investment, it's a tragedy.
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - Previous vs Current Cycle on: Today at 02:04:54 PM
Interesting, seems we are ahead of the previous fractal currently. Let’s hope that continues, I actually think we will go higher than $172,000 but it would still be a nice price if that’s where it tops out at. I think over $200,000 is likely. Let’s wait & see though, only way to find out.
I hope that it's going to go over $200k because that would be a real game changer for bitcoin investment and it's a really big profit for everyone of us if it happens, going at $200k would mean that the value is going to go down to a much lower level especially when you're just starting to invest, you would regret not buying at $50k of bitcoin because you'll see that the floor price will move up and it will never go lower than that anymore, and if the unexpected happens and bitcoin did go down at really high amounts, people will clamor again that it's the end of bitcoin and that people are going to be quitting in investing left and right, it's a really big winter if bitcoin reaches $200k.
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $84k the Peak for Bitcoin? on: Today at 01:19:55 PM
That's not for us to say, $20k isn't a lot of numbers for bitcoin to easily cross in just a month and I believe that there's probably even more surprises in that six weeks, it's still unknown but with the volatility of bitcoin and following the chart of the previous halving cycle, I think that we're within bounds that in six weeks, we would see bitcoin go up to that price or maybe even higher, it's not easy though as there's resistances at certain points in the market. Hopefully, a lot of us are prepared for whatever is coming because if you're not then you'll end up losing when what you didn't account for happens.
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Reach 100k USD in 2025? on: Today at 12:48:48 PM
It will probably reach a $100k this year, I mean there's always that possibility plus there's a supporting fact that bitcoin is teetering at 70k now and then which means that the possibility is just getting higher and higher as time goes by, that's how it is when it comes to prediction, trying to make some connections out of the possible scenarios that are happening in the market. 2025 is still a long time coming so I'm pretty sure that $100k isn't really that big of a deal when it comes to bitcoin, just go on and accumulate as much bitcoin as you can and you'd probably be able to get a huge profit, just trust the process and you'll be fine.
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: Be aware that the government and the haters envies your progress on BTC on: Today at 06:57:13 AM
The government has always been an antagonist of the bitcoin ecosystem ever since so I don't think that we need to be reminded of that fact because that's already a common knowledge, not to mention that most country's governments are always trying to control bitcoin but failed to do so. Basically it's inevitable that bitcoin will have this kind of haters no matter what and @pinggoki is right, it will always be that way and whatever you do against it, it's useless because it will not be worth it to deal with and you're probably just going to waste time and energy fighting against them.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Work From Home or The "Laptop Class" is Immoral or Not? on: Today at 02:35:01 AM
Work from home is a really good way for employees to become productive about their work, the debate that it's making people lazy isn't true because if it was then, how come those companies that were doing it during the pandemic were thriving or was able to survive or maybe even increase their profits despite being a work from home is the norm for most workers? There's already a study that was published if I recall that it made more employees happier or the company made more money during their stint with the work from home set up.

The real reason that they're saying that work from home set up is bad for the company is because of people the real estate value of the buildings that those companies were built into are lowering in value since there's not a lot of people that are using it, they want you and every employee to go back there so the property will get it's value back up, that's all there is to it. If you're talking about online classes for children, it's a really bad idea for kids to learn that way, it's been proven already in my country that those that did get to experience online class are quickly promoted to the point that they end up being non-readers or their learning levels aren't suitable to the school year that they're in.

9  Economy / Economics / Re: knowledge about risks and their types. on: May 22, 2024, 10:44:57 PM
I can totally agree on reputational risk being the most dangerous or highest risk of them all, it's definitely one of those risk that you've got a hard time getting back into, it doesn't even have a tangible reward too at the surface level, your reputation will just improve but sometimes that's it. I'm a bit confused why you didn't mention that if you failed to do what needs to be done when you've got your reputation at risk that your character and the respect of those around you is going to plummet the most because that's how it works most of the time, people will see you differently when you risk your reputation and depending on your results, it can be positive or a negative one.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Disregard false religious teachings and invest for the future. on: May 22, 2024, 02:54:23 AM
Totally agree with the title, also you don't have to totally abandon your religion just because other people says so, remember that you can still be a follower but that don't mean that you don't have to take to your heart all of the words that are coming out of the mouthpiece of your religion, learning what to take in and what to discard is the best thing a man can do because at the core of every religion, even if it makes it look like it's corrupt, it serves as a tool to help you shape your soul and improve your spirituality. Think of it like that saying about your enemies give you the best lessons because they see your flaws more than your friends? That's the same thing with this one, just don't be a fanatic of your religion and you would be good, a world full of atheist isn't really a good place of refuge once a moral crisis happens.

Really awesome thing, that this charity is finally bearing fruit, I hope that you can get more people to donate to your cause, try this in your other social media platforms that you've got an account because you're probably going to get more if you cover more, the bigger the net then the more fish you might get right? Hopefully in the future if this war isn't ending soon, a relief effort in terms of food would happen too.
You are right, I have donated a bit myself personally and am trying to figure out how to collect more donations. It is actually a matter of humanity. I am trying to inspire many individuals and organizations to donate. It is a good idea to campaign on social media especially to stand with the war-torn people of Ukraine. I hope the OP will take appropriate measures as well as all of our efforts to collect and deliver the urgent donations.
Good of you to show some initiative, hopefully I can do the same with you but my big problem is that I don't have any people in my social media platform that I know of that knows about this forum so it could be an issue of confusion might happen to them and I don't want to do it personally, I'd rather keep my charitable trait hidden from people as much as I can and I don't want people that I'm working with to know that I'm using bitcoin for investment, but other than that, I would share this charity to my social media accounts anyway, here's to hoping that would bear some results out of that meager effort.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Telegram Casinos good or bad? on: May 21, 2024, 04:37:55 PM
It's dependent on your taste, varies per person. If you don't want the hassle of doing normal online casino stuff and you're finding other ways to gamble, you're probably going to be fine with trying them Telegram casinos, what's the worse that can happen anyway, it's gambling. I kind of see why some people want to try this one out but for me, I don't really recommend it since I don't like it.

If you're an entrepreneur, you might be able to see this as an opportunity to build a gambling business model out of this one because it's a pretty new concept and I think that you would benefit a lot from it if you get in now and do your thing.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What need to follow to play the stress free gambling game on: May 21, 2024, 02:45:04 AM
If you've got a really good or high paying job and you've got the discipline to be able to stop gambling when you know you're losing a lot of money already in your gambling session then that's already a good way to not be stressed about gambling or your losses in gambling. It would also help you if you've got a hobby that can distract you for the whole day, that way you will never have any problems when you're getting bored out of your mind or maybe learn to love boredom, just being lazy for a day not doing anything and just resting in your comfortable bed or couch, maybe that would solve your issues with your stress.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you achieved anything from gambling on: May 21, 2024, 01:52:58 AM
Nothing, it's just a satisfaction from being entertained from the anticipation that I'm going to get a lot of money or something like that, maybe my biggest achievement in gambling is that one win I've got that gave me enough money to buy some art stuff that I've been wanting to buy for a long time, it's not much but that's probably counted as an achievement in gambling and I would never change my mind about that one. Maybe the friends that I've made along the way is also a good thing too but most of them I barely talk to anymore, we've got our own lives to live and we don't match in schedules so it's a rare occasion when we get together.
15  Economy / Gambling / Re: Share trusted VPN Friendly crypto casinos on: May 21, 2024, 01:21:41 AM
You're probably going to have a hard time finding one because most trusted casinos have it in their Terms of Service to not allow you to use VPN to access their casinos, I wouldn't risk it if that's going to be the case because they'll lock you out a bit too late, when you finally deposited something and you will find it difficult to get it back because you've breached their Terms of Service which you've agreed upon. Maybe you can be excused with the use of VPN if you're from a country that strictly prohibits gambling or the casino doesn't have any website there, that can be understandable but other than that, it's probably not a good idea to use one. NordVPN worked well for me but I didn't use it for casino or gambling purposes.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking Volunteers for ZeroClassic Project. on: May 20, 2024, 11:17:26 PM
It would be really difficult to find people that will work for you as a volunteer especially on the software developer side, that's going to need a lot of convincing on potential software developers if it doesn't involve any money, you're going to need a really strong vision for the project to get volunteers, software development is a difficult task especially if the plan is create something revolutionary like what you're trying to do so no payment and all vision kind of project is difficult for those software developers to get into, I hope that you find the right people though, it seems that you're sincere at the least in creating this project.

19  Other / Meta / Re: Should mods make a post to justify why they locked a thread? on: May 19, 2024, 11:30:33 AM
If that was the case, they would probably not meet their quota and they're going to take a really long time to lock all the thread that needs to be locked, maybe if there's a way that mods can do an automated message for the reason for locking the thread, it might work but for now, we just have to rely on self-reflection as to why our threads have been locked.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Memecoin Gambling verses Normal Gambling - which is more profitable? on: May 19, 2024, 09:00:50 AM
Probably normal gambling given how volatile and intense the price fluctuation of memecoins, you'd probably go for the normal betting since you don't see much movement in the prices even if they're volatile. Probably the only upside of memecoin gambling is from the fact that when you win, it looks like you're winning a lot because you're betting hundreds of thousands of them at the same time and winning a lot when in reality, the value of those memecoins that you've bet and won are probably just $1 or $5. I'm not that into gambling in general anymore but if I am hypothetically gambling, I'd probably be sticking to normal gambling, I don't want to risk those memecoins that will have a possibility of suddenly pumping up in prices because they look so tempting to use for gambling.
