why do you say you lost the boat? bitcoin is so cheap, it can reach $7k at the end of the year, you could double your money in matter of months, and if you keep holding your money will be huge, bitcoin is the future bro.

Hey guys.. The past week I doubled up when I bought the dip at $0.4 I'm sitting at 8500 Ark, recieving more than 80 ark a month in dividents from Dpos staking... Sweet passive income. My goal is to be sitting at 10k ark, and have the rest of my portfolio in Bitcoin.. I see HUGE potenitial in this coin, sadly it's hard to drive the price up when it's only listed on 2 exchanges. It's still early if you get into this coin now, it's barely half a year old (from when it hit exchanges). With smartbridges, which they recently just tested on the ethereum platform (with success), and by looking at their roadmap, I predict this coin to hit $10 in a years time.. Could be sooner, but I think that's a realistic price aim. Ark has almost the same number of coins as ETH, so $100 a coin is easily possible down the road (Which will make me a millionaire if it happens). There are a lot of great coins out there, including NEO.. I just dont want to invest into something that is hyped and shilled as much, because I like steady gains instead.. NEO looks more an more like the Digibyte hype train to me, and I think it's safe to say I won't put myself into a situation where I bought too high.. I'll probably eat my words, but who cares, I love ARK and it's helpful community! My average buy in on ARK is $0.57 So I'm in the green already, sitting comfy with my passive income that I get weekly  There will be another opportunities for future. Why should you risk 80% of bankroll? Never ever trade the money which you cant afford to lose. I hope you dont trade with leverage with risking all available margin.. Agree... there are a lot of coins that offers better features than this coin, this is a coin that is sleeping and so much time has passed and it couldnt atract big investors, that is why it has no future, i would not invest into this coin, and 80% of your portfolio are you serious? hope your portfolio is not a huge amount of money because you will lose to much when it dumps. |

Yes a big dump is comming in the next days, because of this incredible pump of the price. it happens with every altcoin, it just increase the price and then dump. It will recover but in a few months or weeks, nobody knows.
better to sell now and take the 5x return for those who bought a few days ago, and invest in another altcoin that are promising right now, like waves.

Well ,if you have a big knowledge about trading altcoins then you shold start trading as soon as possible, it can give you big profits if you are a daytrader, but if you prefer a long term run then you can buy some altcoins with a big history, like waves or monero, they can give you a good return in a few months for sure. i am also investing into them.

One of my biggest regrets with bitcoin is that last year i got like 5 btc on my wallet and i sell it to cash. If i just waited one more year i could have more than $18k at the moment instead of $2,5k  but i think that one of the biggest regrets of the whole community is buying bitcoin when we hear from first time about this coin. When i hear for the first time, it was around $150 each one i think. Sad story |

Just like a thread that i saw like ten minutes ago.
I have a debit card and when i really need fast cash i withdraw some $$$ in a near atm, or purchase directly in any store, but i often do it, i dont like spending bitcoins because i prefer holding it for the future.
for those who doesnt have a debit card, you should have one if you are looking for withdrawing or spending some btc, it is the faster way.

Well if i have a large amount of bitcoins i will seriously think about it, for example there are a lot of things that i might want to buy atm, but i prefer saving bitcoins for the future, became into the 21 btc club is my goal, and if bitcoin becaumes much expensive then you can be millionaire in a few years.
so i deffinitely prefer holding it, nobody knows what could happen with this coin.

Well, i use blockchain for most payments i realize, so when you send bitcoins you have two options "normal payment" and "fast payment" i use normal payment and the transaction got the first confirmation usually at ten minutes. It is faster now because of the fork.
If you select fast payment i think it is gonna have the first confirmation in about 4-7 minutes.

Yes investing into ICO is one of the best investment opportunities to make money, but you have to be careful and investigate about the coin you are gonna purchase, because most of them are scammy-coins and will dump afther the ico ends, so invest in a coin that you trust and has good references.

When you started this thread bitcoin was at $1900 each one, and now it is at $3600, so that is the answer to your question i think. Bitcoin will continue growing because of demmand and supply, and nothing can stop this.
Its the same that happens with Apple Products, for example, everybody buy those products, and that is why they are increasing their prices everytime, because people will continue buying.

I dont really think that Satoshi exists, i think that he is just a character that makes us believe that he is the person who really created all this system, and we need someone to believe in. The really creator of the bitcoin is probably holding large amounts of bitcoins, but he probably can sell them, because they will be worth millions and millions, and that could take the attention of all money entities on the world.

I am baffled as to why he would run with the coins considering the massive uptick in price?
If he indeed did not convert them to USD, it seems he would easily have funds to pay back everyone and still profit from some basic arbitrage.
I see people want their 20,30,etc. BTC, but he could make a case easily to state he offered the product pricing in "USD" and merely "accepted" bitcoins as a payment option at current conversion rates at time of sale.
This would satisfy any court in the world and it seems he could settle all and still make out.
I don't know if this helps anyone's pain, but I did get a credit card refund and since I'm currently getting a divorce and stuck with my own debts, that refund has made a pretty crappy situation much easier than losing nearly $27,000.
For the record, I initiated my refund last November.
So...at least you're not getting a divorce with young children to think about.
