Bitcoin does have a lot of chances that it will become the world's crytocurrency.
Bitcoin will become the most famous currency and nothing can stop that.
I am dam sure bitcoin will replace the dollar soon.Upto now the dollar equalant value of bitcoin is 3351$.If all the trading and investing is made by bitcoin means .Their is no doubt to became world currency and make the paper currency will not live or make to disappear. Bitcoin is our future currency. Ya you are right .Without bitcoin, the digital altcoin currency will be no more. Now a days as I am seeing the price in market it raise daily.It will soon reach the value of 3500$.This may occur due to increasing in the Investors in bitcoin . |

I think that Cryptocurrency do really have a future. But it happens that its not really known by everyone in the world and that's also one of the good thing. Bitcoins value is very high because there's only few in the market, But imagine if there's alot of people who mine's bitcoins and market will be populated by bitcoins then possibly the value of this coins will raise down. Dont doubt about the future of this cryptocurrency, This will be one of the things to make you rich.

I just read on Btcjam blog that they are closing down: https://blog.btcjam.com/2017/05/25/btcjam-is-closing/, now I am just wondering if big players in thebitcoin industry are closing down, is there any future for bitcoin really. I came to know about bitcoin through btcjam when i was introduced there to borrow. Eve in this forum, looks most signature campaigns might close down because of the ever rising price of bitcoin. Most of them have reduced their payout amounts for posting by more than 50%. Is this a good sign or a bad sign for the bitcoin development? The thing to remember is whenever a big player shuts down whether it is an exchange, a mining company or anything related to Bitcoin. New players come into scene. Nobody losses that opportunity. Bitcoin is such a strong asset that these small shut downs doesn't matter now. It was a big phenomenon during Mt. Gox. But now Bitcoin is much stronger to not be affected by such shut downs. There are many personal reasons for a company to shut down. We shouldn't see them as an end to Bitcoin as was in the case of Bitmixer shut down. It was completely personal and not related to the state of Bitcoin. Completely opposite to your claim, Bitcoin is getting more stronger with time. |

While BTC getting more precious, certainly it wouldn't die off that soon as lots of people wouldn't want it to be happen anyway. BTC itself doesn't related to the closure of BTCJam at all ?! They mentioned:
"The regulatory challenges around Bitcoin and the difficulties we faced in introducing Bitcoin technology to poor communities around the world are simply beyond our capacity."
"We firmly believe that programmatic money and cryptocurrencies are here to stay and that there is still room for innovation in this space."
I think it might just be mismanagement of a firm or their business model doesn't work anymore.
As for the payment of signature campaign, they are just scaling with the rising price of cyrptocurrencies. Unfortunately, seems like marketing managers are allocating more funds in other channels (paid ads, articles, video), slowly away from forum where it used to be.

I understand find a potential cryptocurrency always better than buy it after growth and pumped to high price. But very difficult for know this coin can growth in future or not, maybe in one day this coin can become to shitcoin is possible. Example Steem in last year have value 0.01 BTC, and look at the price now, under @50k sat per coin  |

That is why those early adopters of bitcoin has a lot of advantage because whether they see potential on it in the future or just bought it for fun, is now reaping the rewards. You will see countless stories going around about early adopters that are now millionaires. It's not too late though to put ourselves in a better position to earn good money out of bitcoin. We can't be millionaires like them, but for sure investing today will also yield good rewards as well. Because we all truly believed that bitcoin's future is really bright. The potential to really get a good returns is very likely. So just buy or continue to hold. Maybe 2-5 years from now bitcoin price will really soar that no one has predicted before. Who knows... |

People like you look at the price, and based on that, it has or doesn't have a bright future. Back in the days when the value was just a few bucks, people had full confidence in how Bitcoin might impact the financial world. It was all based on Bitcoin's decentralized nature and functionalities, and not because of whatever the value might have been at that time. Bitcoin offers people the financial freedom they so badly are looking for, that fiat can't offer them. Everyone is sick and tired of being a total slave of the government and their destructive financial system. People are supposed to lose, and exactly that is something that Bitcoin changes. |

The issue with BTC Jam was that they loaned out bitcoins and required repayment in bitcoin. This is fine if the price is stable, but if the price is increasing by 20-30% a week, people are never going to be repaid. Additionally, borrowers were not vetted properly (a very difficult task), so most loans were defaulted on.
