1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Negotiation with government on: November 03, 2018, 11:25:43 AM
What if people convince governments of their nations to make Bitcoin as a legal currency or what if we agree to give tax on our bitcoin income? Will government then make Bitcoin a legal currency.

This could only be made possible if there is a person in the government who is also a crypto enthusiasts and will take initiative to sponsor bill and laws in support to the use of bitcoin and any form of cryptocurrency.  Another problem is that cryptocurrency users are distributed across the globe and has a small number in population. In order for that dream to come true bitcoin and cryptocurrency will need long years before it can be highly accepted by the government and the masses.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now here's a guy really pissed at bitcoin/blockchain... on: October 17, 2018, 10:00:27 AM
No serious institution would ever allow its transactions to be verified by an anonymous cartel operating from the shadows of the world’s authoritarian kleptocracies. So it is no surprise that whenever “blockchain” has been piloted in a traditional setting, it has either been thrown in the trash bin or turned into a private permissioned database that is nothing more than an Excel spreadsheet or a database with a misleading name.

Lol this snippet shows just how much he knows about the subject. He really just spit out half-truths to paint the entire community in a bad light. You can't say Bitcoin being worth $6.5k means it's going bust unless you're trying to push an agenda.

His commentary on ICOs and shitcoins are spot-on though, so credit where credit is due lol. The blockchain is far from useless, but the way people have been touting it as a solution to the most mundane problems and how everyone falls for it just mystify me.

In align with your thoughts, I also have the same line of idea. Blockchain is indeed useful, the author possibly missed some points and thus he is criticizing this technology. The blockchain technology is in fact very useful and to prove and back up my claims I will cite some example. Have you heard of the news that banks and financial institutions are now planning to integrate blockchain technology into their banking system. This is just one example how this technology can change lives as it change the financial sphere of transactions.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Imagine a world where Bitcoin will be used as a primary payment option on: September 30, 2018, 11:46:36 AM
Do you imagine this thing to happen? Everytime i think about this, I can say that being an early adopter of bitcoin is something to be proud of and something that will make you famous in the eyes of many.

If this will happen, it is not impossible for bitcoin to reach above $100,000 and an adoption from the bank might also happen. Credit cards will be offered where bitcoin or cryptocurrency were stored and be used as a payment through online shopping sounds also cool right?  Cheesy Year of 2022 looks very exciting.

In Singapore a company issued a bitcoin notes, it is similar to bank notes but it is backed up by bitcoins instead of paper money. If this can happen in singapore then it is also possible that it may evolve into debit cards later on. It is good to have bitcoins being used to pay in all your daily transactions but as long as bitcoins value is not stable and is falling down then I guess we should rethink if we are going to do that innovation.
4  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Selling items online for Bitcoin or crypto on: September 20, 2018, 01:44:16 AM
Hey dudes hope you are well. I sell a lot of things on Craigslist. I am now planning on putting a couple things up and saying I accept btc or eth along with the greenback. Wondering if you guys have tried this. I

Thats not a new concept since many are already doing that on facebook. But it is also good that there are people like you who patronize this kind of trade. If there are more people like you do who will accept bitcoin and ethereum then probably we can move closer to the real goal of bitcoin to be a medium of exchange in buying goods and services both online and offline.

I do agree with your statement and eventually me and my group have already been accepting bitcoins using facebook and other social media when we sell gadgets electronic devices or other products such as soap and other items. Bitcoin is really helpful in our transactions since it saves us time going to banks to withdraw their payments.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we really understand what bitcoin is capable of? on: September 16, 2018, 11:05:14 AM
Well almost everybody in this forum knows what is bitcoin capable and its potential. But even though we know to come and fully understand how bitcoin works and how it will help the financial sector of our economy; we can still cannot deny that we are dealing with money here and as the value of bitcoins goes down so as the investment of the people who got into it. Though we may say that we should not worry since bitcoin will climb up but we do not know what sacrifices did that person gave up to buy bitcoin. Thus knowing what bitcoin is a different story compared to the flow of the market.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin be harder to access in the future? on: September 07, 2018, 11:46:43 PM
As of now, more and more users are getting the hang of sitting by their computers all day and they get paid millions through the help of bitcoins. What they earn is more than what they had in real life which makes life convenient and easier.

On the other hand, bitcoins are really helpful and accessible to everybody or to a group of individuals and they just click and their wallets get full. But what if, sometime in the future, bitcoins become more private and unaccessible? Will that cause a problem? What could've happened to us who were engaged in it first rather than the newbies to come?

Bitcoin in the future will be very accessible compared as of this moment. Right now there are only limited outlets as to where we can purchase our bitcoins. But in the future I do believe that bitcoin will be in the mainstream and you can purchase bitcoin almost anywhere in your area. The future of bitcoin is great and thus many countries like Iran are now going into bitcoin.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another bull run speculated for Q4,2018? on: September 01, 2018, 01:19:12 PM
Hi, crypto market is experiencing a corrective rally now. Do you guys think the approaching quarter 4 of this year would bring another bull run following the prvious year patterns?

The only chance of having a bull run is hoped to occur on december. The expected bull run this previous months have been very disappointing due to the disapproval of bitcoin ETF. There will be more disapproved ETF's coming into town and that is why the road for a bullish run is very difficult to see. But there is a light coming to bitcoin this december so let us just wait and see.
8  Other / Meta / Re: Merit for Satoshi Nakamoto on: August 25, 2018, 05:23:11 AM
Hi everyone, i have been reading the Satoshi's posts on BTtalk and i think that he never seen the merit system way that exists currently, and i haven't seen how was before that, because of it i searched for the first comment ever, and give to him one of my merits, because if someone here deserves is that person (s), i see a lot of people doing this on their posts just like send Bitcoin to his address, i think he really gave the world something good to use

first post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5.msg28#msg28

Genesis of bitcoin: 1A1zP1eP5QGefi2DMPTfTL5SLmv7DivfNa

Giving Nakamoto a merit here on bitcointalk is a good idea since we are not here today if he did not created bitcoin. This forum will not also exist without him since cryptocurrency and bitcoin will not be born. I will support this idea and I will try to look for Nakamoto's account here in this forum so I can give him a merit.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's stop comparing Bitcoin to Ethereum or any other Cryptos on: August 18, 2018, 02:39:44 AM
Its very normal to keep coins being compared always since that makes the community alive. We cannot also deny that there are competition being a currency on the coinmarket.cap and everyone is doing their best to be number one. There is nothing wrong in comparing the coins and as long as we support them and continue to support them then they will still continue to exist and have a value.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin should NOT determine the market on: August 06, 2018, 10:28:35 AM
I really really love crypto but I think it is not a good thing that the price of BTC determines what the entire market does. I feel like there should be something done that makes the crypto market more decentralized where the price of BTC doesn't swing the market up and down there should be some sort of better system put in place otherwise we are just creating a system that is just the same as the current fiat system we have where the most "trusted/valuable" asset determines the entire market.

Just some thoughts, what do yall think??

Well what you are thinking is good but the reality will tell us that bitcoin is determined by the market and that bitcoin also determines the whole cryptocurrency market. Everything revolves around the market since bitcoin is not yet mainstreamed. If only bitcoin could be used in day to day basis and could be used in buying and paying all the stores in the neighborhood then we no longer need the trading market to determine the value of bitcoin.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin in Southeast Asia be legal? on: July 25, 2018, 10:43:11 AM
If we talk about the overall condition of bitcoin in the Southeast Asia then it is hard to tell if all countries in that region will legalize bitcoin. But that does not matter anymore since there several countries in that part of the world that is positive towards bitcoin such as South Korea, Japan, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore and others. But maybe it is just a matter of time before the rest of Asia will consider to accept and legalize bitcoins in their area.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin experiences largest price surge in months:crypto market recovering on: July 25, 2018, 10:40:09 AM
Let us pray that there will be no fake news and negative news that will come to bitcoin before the ETF. If there are bad publicity that will stir the market again then the price of bitcoin will suffer another down movement. Also we look forward to the approval of the bitcoin ETF so that bitcoin can start climb the ladder towards the 60k$ target value this year.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Total Market Capitalization Above 300 B$,will it be sustained on: July 25, 2018, 10:36:26 AM
The market capitalization for all cryptocurrency rose above 300 B$ after a long time above this range,Is the momentum going to be sustained

The momentum is going to be sustained and it will rise up more. There is no going back since cryptocurrency market have already bloomed and people are starting to notice and everyday hundreds to thousands of people across the globe are joining in. On the long run the 300 billion $ total market capitalization will be a miniscule to the futures market capitalization.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN INVESTMENT IS BETTER THAN NETWORK MARKETING? on: July 25, 2018, 10:33:47 AM
Bitcoin is investment is better than network marketing since bitcoin investment can be done by all. You dont need to go to talk to people or recruit them to join so you can earn from referral systems and have commission.  Network Marketing is like killing the newly recruits so that the top members of the pyramid can earn blood money from the hard work and sweat of the new members. In short bitcoin is much better than network marketing since you do not step on other people so you will earn big.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin go under regulation on: July 25, 2018, 10:27:21 AM
Bitcoin is already being regulated on some countries around the globe. The regulation being placed on the use of bitcoin are just precautionary measures done by the government to protect the public interests and also to protect the economy from money launderers and other notorious criminals. This regulations being placed to bitcoin are giving people a peace of mind and thus strengthening the foundation of bitcoin in such countries.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHY DO MOST PEOPLE FORGET BITCOIN SO SOON? on: July 25, 2018, 10:23:42 AM
People are not forgetting bitcoin. The more negative news being thrown to bitcoin the more bitcoin become popular. If bitcoin is forgotten they will no longer talk about it. Good news and bad news about bitcoin are just signs that bitcoin is becoming more popular. Whether it is an attack or it is a promotion this is all part of the movement of bitcoin in history.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My original Coinmarketcap.com bookmark makes me nostalgic on: July 25, 2018, 10:18:27 AM
Because the title of the site then and so my old bookmark reads "Crypto-Currency Market Capitalizations | Bitcoin Litecoin Peercoin Namecoin Novacoin Primecoin Feathercoin WorldCoin CryptogenicBullion Devcoin and more..." when I set the bookmark in around 2013. Only two, Bitcoin and Litecoin are still widely talked about, the rest has more or less gone into oblivion.

I just thought I'll mention it.

The reason why those coins are already being left behind on the the top list is because they have not sustained the sales and movement of their coins. It is the developers fault for not making a good marketing to uplift their coins. Also to mention they are not the only coins being washed out of coinmarket.cap there are also coins and hundreds of them that are being left behind and died without a value.
18  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Hardware digital wallets on smartphones? on: July 25, 2018, 10:14:55 AM
I have seen some thread posting on those smartphones that accepting bitcoins as a form of payment for their smartphone products and i think that there is something more than this accepting bitcoin payments. For sure they are already having some feasibility studies of a hardware digital wallet that can store bitcoins. This will benefit all crypto users and with the smartphone providers. Sales is coming. What do you think?
Note: Help me get merit.

You have mentioned about feasibility studies and you are correct in that statement. Because of the trend of cryptocurrency business smartphones are going to add another feature in their products so they can increase their sales. Smartphone companies are very competitive and it is not far from the truth that they will engage in cryptocurrency so they can increase their sales.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: gambling banksters reason for sustainability of bitcoin waves? on: July 25, 2018, 10:09:23 AM
I do not believe that bitcoin sustain because of the giant and rich gamblers. Bitcoin is sustained because of people average or rich that bought bitcoins and hold it. With constant holding of bitcoins and the increase of demands from people who are buying bitcoins the value of bitcoin increases as the supply in the market is reduced. But in the end what sustained bitcoin are the trust and confidence of bitcoin users to bitcoin.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHY CRYPTOCURRENCY PROGRESS MOVE SLOW IN AFRICA? AND WHAT TO DO TO HELP AFRICANS on: July 25, 2018, 10:05:48 AM
Hello, as we both knwo that cryptocurrency ius future payment solution in the world thoughthere is some bariers from differenct states and goverments but the reality still there.
Example we can see proress in some europeans countries having ATM machins where users can withdraw bitcoin and other altcoins there by using their ATM crds, also they can pay by using cryptocyurrency in different placess like supermarkets but also they can make online purchase with cryptocurrencies.

SO..
WHY WE DONT SEE THESE THINGS IN AFRICA TOO??

WHATS  TO DO TO HELP AFRICAN COUNTRIES TO ADOPT THESE CHANGES?

Africa is a continent wherein almost all countries are considered third world countries. Poverty is very high and many people are suffering from hunger with no homes and food to eat. The high incidence rate of poverty shows that it will be hard for Africa to progress very fast compared to other developed countries. But I believe in time, cryptocurrency will slowly mainstream into Africa step by step.
