1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What You will do in this situation? on: May 24, 2024, 11:08:52 PM
It's okay to suggest but I won't expect people to listen to me and follow my suggestion. There will be gamblers that know what they do and don't want to get disturbed so, if he shows that he's quite uncomfortable I'd better avoid him or get far from him and spare that time for him alone.
If he wants to talk to me then I'd come back and have to talk about what he's up to, that's the way it goes and it's totally fine if he wants my attention and asks for certain suggestions.

JMF will be relax, will probably be streaming with his mobile legend games, LOL.. That's how cool their big guy but is beast in the court because he is unstoppable. I didn't finished the game but i think it was Don Trollano which was named as the best player of the game as he is the reason for the big comeback of the SMB.
Does he plays ML and LOL? I thought that he's only playing Dota 2. But yeah, he can have his relaxation for now while waiting who's going to win against Ginebra and Meralco Bolts. By the way, congratulations to SMB for advancing to the finals after defeating Rain or Shine with a straight 4-0, they really are a strong team no doubt.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in match fixing? on: May 23, 2024, 11:12:16 PM
I do believe on it but there's a catch. It doesn't happen mostly on the bigger leagues and you'd see them often goes on with the smaller leagues or with the unpopular ones. They're prone to match fixing and that's why if you ever want to avoid them, you need to choose the sports and leagues that you want to bet because you'll never know, that small league that you're going to play YOLO and bet on them is already a rigged match. But here are just our opinions and we don't have proof but gut feels of most of us says that it does happen.

In most cases, we will only hear rumours. Even if some of them are true, no one can give a solid evidence that the match is being fixed. Also, if you are very familiar with the performance of the athletes inside the field, you will have your gut feel if they are really under the spell of match fixing.
There can be cases that have found solid evidences but us here discussing it, yes we can't provide evidences to prove that there is. That's why those cases that have been proved that there were fix matches can be our reference to say that they're happening.

In bigger leagues, it is hard to arrange this as a lot of people are focused on them, and people will see if there will be change of movement of that athlete. They will see it clear if people are closely following them.
There can be some arrangement but it shouldn't be noticed. There is bigger pot in the bigger leagues and that's why I don't believe that fixes aren't happening there. We might not just notice it or they are making it not obvious at all.

5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 22, 2024, 09:43:18 PM
They said the plan was to really foul Jaylen Brown or not give him a three and foul him when is going to make a 2. However, Pascal Siakam said that he is very far and that he switch very late and so he didn't commit the foul because he knows that it will give Brown a chance to tie it with a 3 free throws. Unfortunately, Brown did make the 3 from the corner and they've lost steamed in the OT and take a lot of turnover. I don't think that they will be swept here, Pacers are good at making adjustments, so most likely in their homecourt they are going to win at least a game. However, Celtics might be too strong for them to handle in this series.
I think that three won't even happen before if Pascal didn't touched the ball when the 4th quarter was about to end. But it was last touched by the Celtics but when it was already out of bounds, he still tried to get it so it was a last touch of Pacers. That was a crucial time and I think the game result won't even lead to an OT if that was made right and he didn't chased for the ball.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is boxing the worst sport to bet on? on: May 22, 2024, 07:37:06 PM
^^In short all of this sport can be rigged. Not just boxing that can sometimes be manipulated in many ways, like for example match fixing where the outcome is predetermined or point shaving where judge, referee or players alter the score to benefit some bets. Referees might also make biased calls if he got some money to make it call.
In most of them, the rigging part is always been possible. Not just from the referees but also in trades, and in any other part of any sport.

But while these sports issues exist, I think most professional sports have strict rules and oversight to prevent and address this manipulation.
We don't know but let's say that most of them are strict but there can be some loopholes that we don't know. Or we should just say and settle that they don't rig at all because they're professional and huge amount of money is there. There is a possibility but very tiny.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Religion. Beliefs or Choices? on: May 21, 2024, 11:42:50 PM
I used to when I was very active in gambling; although my religion is not very strict in gambling, I soon learned to put priority on what matters the most, and that is what has a positive effect on my life, which is religion.
I still gamble, but I make sure there is no conflict monetary and on schedule.
When you have an obligation in your church or religion, you have to be committed on it and that's like going to be your life. But as you've said, as long as it doesn't affect what you are up to with your beliefs and related to finance and no conflict of schedule then it means that you are doing better and you're good in management. But for the others that don't know how to manage their time and finances and it's always a complicated thing to them when its come to gambling and their beliefs, they need to do better and set their priorities.

While I don't think Denver's dynasty is over quite yet, I am appreciative that the Minnesota Timberwolves are going to get a chance to show that they're capable of being the best team in the NBA.  They have some work to do in my opinion with regards to how they run their offense and they need to grow a bit more in maturity, but they've got the most talented player in the NBA in Anthony Edwards.  I would have rather seen those two teams meet up in the Western Conference Finals, but I'm sure we'll be seeing them meet up in the playoffs again.  Denver just needs to strengthen their bench a little bit and they'll be back in the running.
I agree about Denver Nuggets developing other talents, they've been packed with bench players and they can't be used in crucial times. But of course, they need more playing time and they're not given that chance because they have reliable players that have to play during those times. It's unfortunate to see that their shooters don't have that good hand during that last game that they have. Because if they've been great in shooting, it was too easy for them but actually, it was too easy when they've been into the lead now that's the poison came and a pill that's hard to swallow by the entire team.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people lose in gambling and still go ahead and bet more? on: May 20, 2024, 10:10:48 PM
You're not yet addicted if you have lost for the first time and you still want to come back. There's nothing with that, IMHO. But if you're keep on coming back and you're harming your daily tasks, your family and other people. Then there's something wrong with you. It's a human nature that we keep coming back even if we lose, it's our natural instinct not to give up too early. However, if you're seeing that there's no return and value to what you do and you are getting the same results of frustrations, that's the time that you should move on because no one will be able to change that results but you. So, either you will still come back but in some other days or you'll never come back and do something different for you to find that satisfaction result. This is very common in gambling and even if we've been losing a lot of cash, we're all brave to keep on going until we realize that there's no sense to keep on losing but when you get there, it's hard to move on because of how much loss you already have.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where are you hyper focus, online casinos or physical casinos on: May 20, 2024, 07:45:27 PM
I also prefer to gamble in online casinos. I don't want to go out and get into the hassle of the traffic and commute. Here in our country, traffic is crazy and when I say crazy, you might be surprised. Those that are living in a country that has a good transportation and don't have much volume of cars. I'll tell you how crazy it is to commute here, I live in the city and 20 kilometers of travel will cost you 1 hour, rush hour or not. And can you imagine that? While the physical casino is within the city and you'd get stuck in the middle of the traffic and before arriving to the casino, you're already haggard and exhausted.

from this we can know that why the casino in your city is in the middle of the city, it's because they want their casino to be more accessible and at the same time it makes people who want to get there stuck in traffic jams and that makes people more tired, so it will reduce concentration them and make these gamblers only think about coming to the casino and spending their time there. it's really very ineffective and inefficient playing at a physical casino and i don't know why so many people are willing to spend hours stuck in traffic just to play there.
Yes, they want to do it on a business district where it's in the middle of the cities because it is accessible. But you know how terrible the traffic in our capital and that's why I don't want to get stuck in the traffic for hours sitting driving in the midst of it. It's too exhausting and I have been there and done that and that's why I know how to avoid them. But this time, it just became worst because there's almost no time that this traffic congestion's existence. It's like everywhere I go in the capital region of our country and even if the physical casinos are accessible, you'd feel the rush in the traffic and commute and you'll regret why you go there.  Grin

just like you, i also prefer to play online because it is much more efficient and easier. we don't need to be tired of going to the casino just to gamble, because just open our smartphone and we can play as many games as we want directly from our smartphone, it's not complicated and much easier. especially for people who don't really like noise, playing online is much easier and more fun, because i can play from my room or living room while listening to music or watching tv.

12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one is fun, watching with bet or without a bet? on: May 18, 2024, 01:55:06 PM
There is no better way to watch a football match if you are not really expecting, just like watching your favourite team play against a rival team and you would be very active and would want your team to win with every thign in you, that's the same way I feel when I place a bet on a team, I would also be emotionally connected cause my money is on the line even if I hate the team, at that moment I'll be their best fan and would want them to win, IMO I think watching with bet is more thrilling than not.
There's additional excitement when it's your favorite club and then against their rival, so to add some spice to your viewing experience. All you gotta do is to put some bet on it and you'll disregard with the odds. But wise gamblers, they're forgetting about themselves being a fan if the odds aren't favorable because it is still their money that will be taken into risk and if they lose, their club won't compensate that and that won't even prove that they're a die hard fan, we're already on the 2020's and there's no need to classify who is a die hard fan and who's not.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be careful with people's money on: May 18, 2024, 12:19:18 PM
It has never been ethical to use someone's money. There have been different cases about misuse of other people's fund.

It is very sad how people can end up because of allowing greet to carry on and devoure them completely .
You've misspelled "greed" mate but that's fine. What you've said is true, there are people that are being taken over by their greed and will careless about other people's hard earned money because their priority is their addiction.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling losses are traps to new game on: May 17, 2024, 11:33:27 PM
Did you guys trust on gambling algorithms
There is no need to trust them because that's already on them. It's up to you if you're going to keep on testing your through them despite knowing that it's going to be hard for you to know the actual truth about it.

Once we decide to gamble we trust the casino and their fairness... It's the same with slot providers, once we start spinning we believe that slot provider is not "rigged".

Gambling losses are not traps to new games, some people think that changing the game will help them win, and some of us like to try out new games. Many different things can drive someone to change the game, and I can't connect traps with changing the game.
That's the belief of many of us do, when we're in total despair and losing streaks. The best thing to do is to either stop or change the game. Because if you want to continue but don't want to go with the same game, that's all you want to do or else you're going to keep on losing with the same game over and over again. With that, your best choice is to do things like changing the game and as you've said, just trust on the casino and the provider of these games.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 17, 2024, 10:22:05 PM
I think majority here is rooting for the Mavs to win, it's not that we don't like OKC or SGA, they are a good team, they are the number 1 seed in the West, but I felt that it's not their time to shine, not yet. On the other hand, the Mavs with Luka as putting up a good series against them and the whole team are putting effort for them to win this series against the inexperience OKC. And it also shows their defense as well, with their new acquisition in the trade deadline, anchoring everything with Gafford and PJ Washington. So now the next game will be at Dallas homecourt, one of the loudest arena, it will be crazy if they are going to beat the Thunder.
As much as there are some fans that want to see OKC make it to the conference finals, Mavs is still has a lot of fans and favor from us. I like SGA and honestly, I think that he should be the one that should have won the MVP. But we like more Luka to get into the finals as his charm is different from the rest of them. I want to see Mavs move on and it was Luka who said last season about people acts tough because they are up right? Josh Giddey has said something to them so, I want a slap on Josh's face by seeing the Mavs win.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 16, 2024, 11:04:48 AM
I'm always rooting for the Mavs to win the series against the Thunder. OKC took a lot of 3-point attempts, but they only made 10 out of 40. SGA scored 30 points, but the second-highest scorer, Chet, only made 13.
Me too. I like to see Mavs move on. OKC is still young but I think that they can do better next season whilst for Luka. I want to see him reach newer highs together with Kyrie and their stack.

The Mavs lead the series and will play at home in Game 6. As long as they can't stop Luka's offense, which is likely to happen, they are bound to lose.
And as long as Luka won't choke with his offense then they'd close this series on game 6.

do the random betting in the gambling site to check the current luck in the gambling sites…
This is pretty much what everyone has been doing. And luck is within us and not with the gambling sites. So, you test your own luck through your bets.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale strategy is a failure if you are consistent with it on: May 15, 2024, 09:39:00 PM
I love roulettes because it is very easy to play and I see it relaxing. I bet with $3.5 yesterday using martingale strategy as I want to see what the outcome would be, I was able to win $6. $6 to $9 but it will go down to $3 until I won $10.  From $10 back to $6 until I won $13. Later I won $18. I played 5 consecutive times without winning at all and I lost the whole money. If won any among the 5 times selection, I would have increased it to back $18 or to $25. It was a boring day for me, I enjoyed the game, I wish to play more but I do not want to lose more money.
As long as you have enjoyed the game, that's all that matters if you have anticipated that using martingale will get you nowhere but to lose it. If you are going to gamble more with roulette and with that strategy, you know what's going to be the outcome of it and that's for sure going to be another series of losses on your end. So, just think of it that you've done well and you enjoyed the small bankroll that you have started with and that's all that matters then.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can we help beginners not to get addicted on: May 15, 2024, 08:32:10 PM
But many of them give reminders that everyone should gamble moderately. They have no control over the emotions of their gamblers and that's why there's the reminder and a feature about self exclusion. There have been gamblers that have used that feature when they can't help themselves and that actually worked for some. Still, it depends on how we look at gambling and how extreme our addiction is. If you get to know more about yourself and you understand the hardship of controlling your emotion as you gamble, you better stop doing that while there's time or before it gets worse.

It's true, it all depends on yourself, even if you have this feature, but if you initially reacted wrongly to gambling then there is nothing that can stop you from feeling like gambling. I found that there is a person in my area who is seriously addicted to gambling. There have been various ways to make him aware not to gamble again because it will only make him experience the ruin of his life, but nothing can stop him from gambling, even with his partner or with his family, when he becomes addicted, they themselves can make him aware and stop his bad habit. other people may only be able to remind and advise and after that it all depends on the perpetrator.

For beginners who are new to gambling, I hope they can see that there are many people who cannot control themselves so that they experience many bad effects, namely the destruction of their lives periodically. sooner or later if they respond wrongly to gambling then they can become addicted to gambling. Don't assume that gambling can make you money for sure, because that's not true. It's best to gamble appropriately, including with your thoughts too.
It's hard to control or remind anymore someone that's already addicted. We can tell them to do what they have to do as a guide for them but it won't be possible for them to follow as soon as they've hear it from us. There's also an ego matters on this one when they can no longer listen to the others because they're already addicted. The pride is there and their ears are already closed because one thing for them is to only chase their losses or if they're not in losses, they'd keep up with their potential profits and will continue to do so.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can we help beginners not to get addicted on: May 13, 2024, 09:40:59 PM
It's true that gambling companies don't educate gamblers so they don't get addicted, but with so much news about crime, suicide or so on, that's the most effective education, but they still don't care about it because basically their mindset towards gambling is wrong from the start. In essence, someone who can gamble safely is someone who can change their mindset about gambling, not as a place to change their fate.
But many of them give reminders that everyone should gamble moderately. They have no control over the emotions of their gamblers and that's why there's the reminder and a feature about self exclusion.
