921  Local / Pilipinas / Re: BTC or ETH? on: August 23, 2023, 02:09:17 PM
922  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: August 23, 2023, 11:40:03 AM

923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MuskyDoge Mobile Free Play to Earn on: August 22, 2023, 11:49:31 PM
MuskyDoge is running a free play to earn competition.
The name surely is a meme coin and I don't think too many people are still on it. Next, the play to earn saga is already done.

Ads used to fund the prize wallet and buy/burn tokens. Only on mobile app stores. It's a two year old project on the binance smart chain.
The question is, how many users are there and how many ads are being displayed there? And burning tokens, they don't need funding on it unless they need to hype it and broadcast to the world that they're burning tokens with the use of their own money.

Low cap. Check out MuskyDoge.net for more information.
Low cap or likely dead? $0 volume. (https://coinmarketcap.com/dexscan/bsc/0xb8230e16efbeb40d172836acaf81d0a4a45ea6f9/)

924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do star players affect the odds of a match bet? on: August 22, 2023, 11:23:01 PM
Yes, let's say Team A has a star player while Team B doesn't. The bookies are odd and will definitely be in favor of Team A who's got a star player.
That's why it's important to look at the news before the matches happen for the sports that you're betting on. But don't get blinded by these odds because sometimes they're full of surprises when it comes to the actual matches. It's more of speculations before the games and that's why teams that have star players, don't expect them to show that much of odds.
925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vitalik Buterin Fuels Coinbase with $1M ETH! on: August 22, 2023, 06:42:26 PM
Vitalik is also a human just like us. No matter what the reasons might be, he just wanna dump and take all the money with him. That's why I don't know why this trend is always there that if someone is known or not sends millions worth of crypto to an exchange, it's always in the headlines.

It's his money so he can do whatever he likes. He is certainly an ETH whale, but moving his coins to Coinbase doesn't necessarily mean he's gonna sell them. $1 milly is a good amount though.
Yeah, although I am sure that he's rich enough. He can sell whenever he wants and if he's in need of more money, he can always get from his ETH stack.
926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: August 22, 2023, 05:54:46 PM
Just want to let everyone knows that I met Tyron Lue about an hour ago in City of Dreams (casino here in the Philippines).

He was very friendly and he greet almost everyone that knows him (and as we all know of, Philippines is a basketball crazy country, hehehe).

Wasn't able to take pictures though as it is not allowed in this casinos. He was just looking for crap games though and then went to VIP and then goes out,
Wow, didn't you get an autograph? That was a rare encounter and I know how it feels when you feel starstruck by people like him.
So, with their arrival in our country. This is like what they do after the practice and they've been given time to stroll around and do anything that they can as long as it's already out of the team's schedule. As I look at those photos, it seems coach Spo and Steve are happy when they've arrived.

not sure where he went as I was going home already (with just a couple of dollars winning playing roulette,  Grin).
This is the best part of the story, how much is that couple of bucks?  Grin
927  Economy / Economics / Re: Am I a bad person if I manage to avoid taxes? (Hypothetical question) on: August 22, 2023, 04:51:09 PM
Many people think that avoiding taxes is an inappropriate criminal act, but in my opinion the tax that we pay certainly must be proportional, the facts in my country that business tax, income and so on are very burdensome so that many businesses are made to avoid taxes. And in my opinion as long as we have the right reason to avoid taxes, this is certainly not a problem.
The rich have ways to legally avoid taxes, in my country, what they do is they're making their own charities and they donate money to their own charities. This is like a glitch that many are aware of but legally, it's allowed by law. I don't know if these capitalists were able to buy some lawmakers that have made this law in favor of them. While the minimum age earners, there's tax exemption but in goods that we consume, there's vat. In countries where you can see the services being used by people, I don't think someone will flee from tax avoidance.
928  Economy / Economics / Re: Which problem will you choose to solve? on: August 22, 2023, 03:08:33 PM
The rich have become rich because most of them are problem solvers. While being rich, the next level of having problems is likely about the management of their wealth which is easy IMHO.
While the poor, there are tons of problems that people are dealing with every day. It looks easy but it's not when the ratio of rich and poor isn't par at all.
We admit it or not, there are poorer than rich people, and problems that are being dealt with by most of them can't be tackled easily. Putting this on a serious note, I've been there and still trying to survive. Before helping the poor, I want to help myself first.
929  Other / Politics & Society / Re: North Korea's Kim Jong Un dismisses top general, calls for war preparations on: August 22, 2023, 12:16:51 PM
I just hope that it will always be the "call" and will remain as is and there won't be any move at all. While they're practicing missiles near Japan and South Korea, that's really alarming when these top officials are being replaced and switched as its internal affairs have something to do with what they're about to do. I also hope that Kim won't press the button on this one, we don't know how big it will be and we don't wanna really know because we don't want that to happen. Whatever triggers them is probably if their allies try to call for them or if they're asked to join them in their war but for sure with economical, they won't have impact but it's a different talk if it's about collateral damages.
930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Monero so unpopular? on: August 22, 2023, 10:31:56 AM
Privacy is a necessary feature in my opinion, but why hasn't Monero become a main coin?
It's because it's not the firstborn. It used to be Bitcoin that was for privacy and turned into decentralization focused until Monero became the main thing and was followed by other privacy coins. Then, the government has kept chasing Monero and other privacy coins that are listed in different South Korean exchanges and have them targeted to be removed by them. That made fear everyone and started to avoid it but, it's still the main thing in terms of privacy and despite that, we can't control the likes of the people and the fear that it had made for those who just simply like it and have it sold later on turned away from it for their own safety and liquidity.
931  Economy / Economics / Re: Entrepreneurship and women on: August 22, 2023, 09:36:53 AM
The role of entrepreneurs, especially women, is of course very much needed to be able to improve the economy, currently there are many entrepreneurs from men because many people still think that women are companions for men so they feel just at home and don't need to be entrepreneurs,
The world is changing quickly and the belief for women to take over men's occupations and whatever we do are also starting to build up. In a time where grit and side hustles are being made by almost everybody. There is no exception on who can do better and that.

it's only natural that most women are single and not dependent with husbands then they can become successful entrepreneurs.
While it is odd to see men stay at home and do household chores, like that? In our country, it's all about how you take care of your relationship with your spouse/husband and how you want to deal with daily living. Gender is no longer an issue on who's going to work hard and who's going to stay at home doing chores.
932  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: August 22, 2023, 12:45:14 AM

933  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Otoridad/Police nagbabala tungkol sa play to earn scheme on: August 22, 2023, 12:27:02 AM
934  Economy / Economics / Re: Were Banks and Governments behind this Dump? on: August 21, 2023, 09:46:31 PM
There is some info that the Space X impact isn't that much and it's made look like they're the reason for this dump to make it look how strong they are. But as the factor being listed on the OP, it's most likely the banks and interest rates that have been the main reason on this one. It is intriguing and confusing when you don't follow the market and only relies to the news that are coming out to the media and they're making it buzzier and noisy to assume that everyone will believe what they say. So they feed those reasons even if they just made the slightest impact and tries to hide the actual starter.
935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you gained anything after the end of bull run? on: August 21, 2023, 09:07:22 PM
Last bull run was 2021 and after that, altcoins price dumped a lot. In 2022, we noticed a little pump and in this year 2023, altcoins pumped a lot, if compare altcoins price chart after end of bull run.           So have you able to gained anything after the end of last bull run? Or last bull run makes you dumped and you are still trying to regain what you have lost?
I did some.
But that wasn't a lot compared to what people are flaunting their profits off social media. The tendency of those profits that they've made it is that they're all fake and all for the flex and advertisement of what they're up. If it's about the losses, those are like paper losses that have projected to my portfolio but I want to take them as much as I can in the next bull run. But as this is a cycle, that's usually going to be the same again if the bull run comes next again next year or so.
936  Economy / Economics / Re: All millions are from real estate. on: August 21, 2023, 08:30:05 PM
All millions come from owning something of value. It doesn't matter if it's real estate or not. Sure it's the most reliable out there but at the end of the day as long as you're invested in something that will yield you dividends in the future it's all good really.
Well said and there's also the REITs. If someone didn't come by with that, that's a cheap way to invest in the real estate but note that it's not that you own the property. It's like pool funds that you invest into real estate companies and they're the ones managing it for you just like index funds.

I understand the hype surrounding real estate now but it's people like these who pushes people to buy more into the land-owning business that causes prices to jack up and rent to increase in value. You gotta understand that somewhere along the pipeline a low-income earning member of the society is stuck between homelessness and paying their rent, all because housing prices are jacked up to astronomical levels that owning a house right now is reserved for rich people and renting is your only recluse if you don't want to live in the streets.
There's no hype in the real estate, it's just it's been there since long time ago and with the limited land resources that we've got, that's why its value keeps on appreciating over time. That's the sad truth that you've mentioned that not everyone can own their own houses and that's why those that can't afford it have chose to rent and those that are capable of buying their own, they're buying and having it rented and that's why it's a strong passive income.
937  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW DO YOU MAKE MONEY WITH LESS MONEY? on: August 21, 2023, 07:53:12 PM
If you have a modest amount, let's say $150 a month to invest, here's a mindset to consider:

Maximize Risk-Taking:
Go for meme plays x10 or x100, or even lose it all. Take huge futures leverages. In the worst-case scenario, you might lose everything, but if you win, your $150 could turn into $1,500 or even $15,000.
I have seen people that does this but this isn't recommended for the newbies. They're going to burn their money doing this, that's why if they want to learn trading and with futures, they need to start with a lesser amount that they can afford to lose. They shouldn't be encouraged with those people projecting how much they've earned because sometimes, it's just the wins that they share and doesn't include their losses.

Full-On Portfolio:
For you, diversification might not be the key. Go all in on a project. With less money, you need to make a big impact. Going all in could be a life-changer.
Better to do this in Bitcoin. So your choice matters.

Farming Airdrops:
Rolling rewards are also quite smooth. Focus on L2 Ethereum solutions.
While I do see people in certain groups that are focused on airdrops, I do see them earn really good amounts on it. But the effort they're giving on it is like, they're spreading and joining almost all of the airdrops that they're seeing and that's what I can't do. They've got a lot of time and effort being exerted in doing so.

WORK to Earn:
Find ways to increase your income. If Grab/Ubers isn't enough, go do some grunt work or community management. Maybe you'll make $50/month and chuckle about it. 🤣

Every player has a different strategy. Every flower has its own branch, every home its scene. Remember, don't lump everyone together.
This is the easiest, you get paid to work and as you get paid, that's the money that you'll use in buying more and adding more for your portfolio.
938  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN: Give people time! on: August 21, 2023, 07:29:04 PM
Yup, we have to give them time as we're all free to think if we should buy Bitcoin or not. We don't have to force people into buying it and if we've told them already what they should be doing like buying bitcoin when it's cheap, that's more than enough. I've got similar stories but I am just keeping it to myself due to the early frustrations that I've taken but, that's a lot of experience to learn and we've got our own ventures and styles with investing, whether it is for ourselves, our future and anything that lies to our own decision making. People will realize it that they're quite late into investing even if they're not. We've been telling a lot of them that they're still in the early phase and the market still has a lot of room to grow, never listen to skeptics.
939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I will pass KYC later is a bad idea on: August 21, 2023, 06:51:15 PM
There are casinos like stake that don't really require you to pass on KYC unless you're being asked and your transactions had gotten big. So, if you're okay with passing on KYC before doing a deposit, that's fine. But as much as you can see, not everyone is cool with that and that's why they're not willing to submit their KYCs to the platforms that they are up with unless they're being asked for. Anyway, that's a good call if you're going to be asked later then why not do it before they ask you to, right? For some instances, there are users that are being asked for detecting dubious activities and they needed to get cleared through KYC. Although I don't know know on how they're detecting user activities with that reasoning so, better to just comply if you've got funds there and you wanna keep playing on them and also to get your deposit.
940  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: August 21, 2023, 06:18:45 PM
Gambling money is really easy money. Because here no one has to work hard only to stake money against some result. but there are many risks that not everyone can afford. many people are very lucky due to which they can achieve great things from gambling and seeing them, others are also attracted to gambling and dream of making easy money by jumping into gambling. This is how the gambling issue is spreading among everyone. and not everyone is able to keep gambling a secret because gambling is now considered a common thing by everyone
It is common these days, for those people that are afraid to be known that they're a gambler then they're keeping it as a secret. But as soon as someone has notice what they're up to and they can no longer hide anymore, that's how they're revealing their secret that they're a gambler despite being known in their communities that they could be a respectable person and seems to be not doing such activities. That is a common thing that's being revealed for some gamblers because they're protecting their image and there are also companies that won't allow someone who's a gambler to be part of them. It is because that knowing someone is into it, they might have just wasting their time and resource for that employee and it won't do any good not just for them but for the sake of the company that they're working for.
