Another issue I have with Poloniex is, you can't see anywhere how much you are up or down on the trade. For example, there is no place where it shows you are up, $200 or down $200. You just have to calculate yourself the difference which is annoying.
Am I wrong about this?
Not sure about about the exchange, but you can see your current profit/loss in margin trading in the box next to the chart. Don't think you can see your overall P/L though, which I agree is quite annoying.  |

Relevant chart:  Bitcoin has gone through several major bubbles so far but it has picked itself up every time. Even if bitcoin crashes this time (which I hope it will), bitcoin has benefitted largely from the media talking about the bubble, giving the cryptocurrency a huge number of new users and investors. Using the pattern of the previous bubbles, recovery will be almost instantaneous as people (such as me) realise the opportunity to make big bucks by buying at bargain prices. I don't play there, but according to support 3 confirmations are required on deposit. Is it even possible to perform double spend there? If I recall correctly, all/most deposits are instantly credited to your account. Based on this, I would imagine you could perform a double spend by depositing with a really low tx fee and bet it all on some event counting on the fact that the deposit is instantly credited. Even if you lose that bet, you could just double spend as long as the deposit hasn't confirmed yet. |

Well I have noticed their leaderboards are Instant. Also I know the rules and my bets were placed on before 23:59 of 30th November.
I'm not so crystal clear with this rule. Does the event have to start before 23:59 GMT of the last day of the month, or does it have to finish before that? Maybe I would had ranked better if I fully understood the rules... Edit : I came by to talk with their live support they said they don't allow this let's see what sportsbet have to say about this.
That's funny... A week ago I talked to the live support and they said that all bets would count to the leaderboard, even if they are all bets on the same market and match. |

No you're wrong. Bitcoin can reach 5 figures pretty easily without any inflation/hyperinflation of the global fiat currencies. Just have a look at how much money is out there, distributed in several markets and industries.And most of them doesn't show real potential for growth anymore or are manipulated to hold their range and values. Just let half a percent or one percent of all those markets flood into Bitcoin and crypto currencies and you will have a price in the 5 figures very fast.Take a bit of the metals markets, bonds, derivatives, real estate, property, foreign remittances etc. Search a bit in the web and you will realize that 50k might sound crazy to you, but definitely is not unrealistic.And it could be reached in less than 3 decades.I don't know how old you are but I could still be alive then. If the price of bitcoin shoots up to 5 figures, wouldn't people that had bitcoin earlier- people like satoshi nakamoto- be rich af?
