It's down so much it's barely worth anything anyway..  so may as well hold.

I was very excited by this coin and the thought that had gone in to the contracts etc and was seriously getting ready to order a heap of storage for it..  Please bring the idea back to life!

It depends on the coin..  The timing of stakes is very random.  Some coins like LINDA have a crazy amount of variance in the actual amount you get paid as well as random timing, other coins are always the same amount (eg CRAVE is always .3333 crave) and others again like PIVX have a see saw algo choosing the amount based on the ratio of masternodes to stakers.  The more stakers the less the reward.

If it's a small cap Alt coin most likely you'll need to use the wallet that comes with the particular coin you're interested in. 

PIVX is undervalued right now, it's the most private Zero Coin proof of stake coin.  You can stake it, or run masternodes.  It's super fast and has a huge community. 

Yeah that's a worry, will the old SYNX just be left to rot some more after this, what's the real problem with the code, can you give us the technical reasons why this can't be built on top of the current blockchain?  eg PIVX just implemented a huge change with Zero Coin and they are incrementing the protocol version and forcing people to upgrade the wallets.  Why is this not possible for SYNX?

If you're doing this at home and not on a VPS you also need to open port 12845 on your router and point it at your internal PC so that inbound traffic can get to your node.

Replacing banks is a great application     Also anything that requires an unchangeable database.  It would be good to use it for historic documentation - eg signing video streams to ensure the video is authentic and untampered..

It's certainly possible with 3.0.4 RC2 because I've done it.  I wanted to start my masternodes again (had been staking) so I've successfully un-done the zPiv conversion and am now back to 100% PIV. 

I really like the zero coin feature though and everything has been working well over the past few days.

In bitcoin land? (all the usual suspects often talked about on https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/) or in Alt land?   In Alt land there's big Dev names like PressTab and a few others but it's hard to tell who owns what.

CRAVE is the best masternode coin in my view.. If you buy enough to set up say 20 nodes, you can make enough coins to set up more nodes for free in a short time span, and also stake the coins at the same time.  You only need 500 coins per node.  So you could own a part of the expanding money supply.. 

Plus there's only 1.4 Million Crave around at the moment, with 1 new Crave per block, which happens around every 2 minutes.  So the supply is low, and ROI is high, and the potential for the coin to get a whole lot more expensive exists, so long term holding is very worthwhile.

Put in a low ball buy order and wait for a dip to hit it

There's only 1.4 Million coins, so they are quite rare as well.  Passive income with cryptos is possible and it's great!
