101  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Alert: "Unlimited Money Generator" Website on: June 08, 2024, 02:31:36 AM
Only a stupid person would fall for this if I'm being honest, I mean look at it this way, you see that it's called Unlimited Money Generator, that should've ticked off all the red flags that you're looking for in a scam website or service, it doesn't even take that much brainpower to remember that if something is too good to be true, that it probably is too good to be true. It would be your fault falling for such an obvious scam, too greedy to even think about why you should allow this to happen to you is beyond me. Hopefully no one is really stupid enough to fall for this one.
102  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ⚠️⚠️ 300M+ Ongoing Biggest Crypto Scam LEAK [Changelly & Freewallet and more] ⚠️ on: June 07, 2024, 11:40:47 PM
Do you have a lot of backups for the data? Hopefully you do have a lot because it's not really a lot in terms of size and you can't risk this being deleted to prevent others from seeing this, you also should post this in Paste Bin, that's like the thing that you should do first because that's how most big data leaks are being publicized, it's my first time seeing it in a website form. Careful about this and make sure you're not going to be attacked by anyone from the organizations that are a part of your leaks. @logfiles is right, move this to the Investigations board.
103  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: FTX will repay everybody 118% back on: June 07, 2024, 11:00:13 PM
Good, that means that they're really sorry for what the bigwigs of their company has done. How are they gonna pay this reparations to the victims though? Because I assume that the extra 18% isn't going to be coming out of their own pockets but the money of the company. Would they be able to cover it all because there's billions right?

Other than those questions, it's a good thing that there's some good news for the victims, and this is a much faster one unlike with Mt. Gox that took years for the finalization and reparations to those that got their bitcoins stolen.
104  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Btc hack from Japani Exchange again or its a fud? on: June 07, 2024, 10:29:05 PM
It's not a FUD, and it's such a refreshing thing to see too that people aren't easily swayed by attacks on bitcoin like this anymore, there's more people that values the long-term game with bitcoin, they know that the hack and the stolen bitcoins are going to be investigated and the culprits will have a hard time finding a way to cash in their haul so pretty sure that they're going to get it back eventually.

Other than that, keep your bitcoins safe, don't store it in the exchange that you're using unless you want to risk doing something like using a hot wallet because you don't want to spend so much on transaction fees.
105  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit binance futures trading and i do now only solana meme coins trading on: June 07, 2024, 03:29:51 PM
Are you doing fine with your current meme coin trading lifestyle right now? Also, do you have like a really big profits doing all of this because it's such a really weird transition for you to go through, I mean if you look at it this way, you've went from an already difficult trading and then you go to the much more difficult stage is so weird but respectable to me. You just have to be mindful of what you're doing though, meme coins are generally so risky and the return that they'll give isn't really that big, make sure that you're not doing all of it wrong or too much.

108  Economy / Economics / Re: Things to avoid when you earn a lot or become rich on: June 06, 2024, 04:30:15 AM
I find the last part, finding a new goal tiresome. What I mean is that I'm already well off financially and I can afford to just sleep without any worries, why would I need to strive for something more when there's already enough for me and that enough is already plenty in terms of how someone should live their life?
109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling mistake repeated by the gamblers on: June 06, 2024, 03:15:05 AM
I don't know if it's been said before but I think the mistake of not learning from your past mistake is a really big one, if you don't switch your strategy when you already know that it won't work at that situation is just insanity and a dumb thing to do. Do what most players in a lot of sports do, when something changes or what they normally do isn't making them get to their highest, they change how they do their things, in the case of gambling it's probably limited to budgeting your bankroll depending on the game you're playing but nonetheless, you're still going to need to do some changes to ensure you're maximizing how you play.
110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you really want from gambling? on: June 06, 2024, 02:31:03 AM
What I want in gambling is to win a lot of money and beat the house, that's it. There's no such thing as bigger fun to find in gambling than beating the house and getting that max win. Maybe it's fun for now but I feel like deep inside me, that's really what I wanted to happen, maybe I can also consider having fun but sometimes that's never enough but maybe that's just me, dreaming of beating the house when the saying is that the house always wins.
111  Other / Off-topic / Re: Know when to stop on: June 06, 2024, 01:25:06 AM
Well said. The ability of gamblers to know when to stop, distinguishes those who loss more than average with those who do not. When gamblers know when to stop, it limits there risk exposure and also builds a healthy gambling habits and not irresponsible gamblers without rules that end up getting addicted, loss more with unhealthy lifestyle.
This is why I emphasis on having rules that guide one while gambling which is very relatable to "knowing when to stop".
Even if they know when to stop, if they're both losing, it won't really matter because the other person is just delaying the inevitable which is the big losses in gamble, it's a slow death basically and sudden death. Regarding if it builds a healthy gambling habit, I don't think that there's anything that you can do that would make your gambling habit a healthy one because there's no way that it can be healthy for someone to gamble.
112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you pay for car repairs with Bitcoin? Why not :) on: June 05, 2024, 10:00:52 PM
Wouldn't you get in trouble if you try and avoid the high fees with bitcoin? I'm sure that wherever you're from, the fees are big because they know that they've got the capability to get back at you if you don't pay your due diligence when it comes to your taxes in your businesses. Really cool initiative but as @mocacinno has said, create an address that's got a SegWit address, maybe consider Electrum Wallet as the best one for you, you also might want to teach your clients how to use an exchange and then they can pay you there, they might find that one much easier because of how beginner friendly most exchanges are, that way, it becomes a convenience to them and not a nuisance.
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Australia's first Bitcoin ETF just opened for trading on: June 05, 2024, 02:50:31 PM
I just think of ETFs like bonds or those investments in banks where a lot of people are pooling their money so a fund manager can manage so they can make some passive income, if I recall, it's called index funds so correct me if I'm wrong with that one. I don't really agree with the assessment that this was a sought after or that this thing has been on the list of many Australians because bitcoin ETFs aren't really bitcoin as we all know it and it's not really something most of them are looking forward when they can just buy bitcoins directly and probably much more than they're going to pay in bitcoin ETFs.
114  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is getting addicted to gambling right or wrong? on: June 05, 2024, 02:15:21 AM
No two ways about it, gambling addiction is wrong, in fact, any addiction is wrong because how would you justify something that doesn't do anything good for yourself or the people around you. The day that I see a benefit from addiction that's applicable to everyone and not just a case to case basis is the day that I will change my mind that addiction is right because there's something beneficial to it. What's wrong with you people still finding ways to try and make it look like there's other way around this? The justifications don't hold much ground.
115  Economy / Economics / Re: What happened with Berkshire Hathaway on Stock market? on: June 04, 2024, 09:37:04 PM
They really gave a lot of traders heart attack with this glitch and I can only imagine those people that was trying to buy the stocks or were shorting Berkshire, they must've thought that they've finally made it. This kind of glitch in the stock market should be investigated though, I do feel like with this kind of thing, that's only a natural thing to do given that it's one of the biggest stocks out there and they suddenly got this kind of glitch in prices, it's not far from the possibility that someone did this glitch on purpose.
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't you think you should invest in Bitcoin instead of burning your money in fire on: June 04, 2024, 05:39:04 PM
You can't force everyone to have the same belief as you, you might not consider it but those people that are smoking cigarettes, they already know that they're wasting their money on that, most of them want to relieve their anxiety since cigarettes are a pretty good way to relieve that, the only problem is that it's addictive to some level. Also, did you know that even if you've got the right answer or the right thing to do, it wouldn't matter much because they're not interested at all and they don't really care too much about what you've got to say and to them, you're an annoying person that needs to shut up.
117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin commercials on: June 04, 2024, 05:09:27 PM
First that I've seen this list of ads about bitcoin, nice list mate. Not a US citizen but I'm curious if people are still able to watch any of the shows on free television with all of this ads because I assume that these ads are just a small percentage of the ads that's run on US television, or are they in some kind of agreement to do ads on different TV channels or something like that? I wish I could see one bitcoin ads here in my country, wouldn't hurt that people would know that they've got a chance at financial freedom with bitcoin, maybe there's just not a lot of investment companies here that want the money of the common people I guess.

Most streaming services now have ad-supported tiers. Sports streaming services like DAZN and ESPN+ always have commercials, at least in the United States. I’m almost certain I saw a Coinbase ad while watching something on Amazon Prime recently. If you ever watch YouTube without an ad blocker you will also come across these ads, although sometimes I’ve seen scam ads created with artificial intelligence featuring Michael Saylor.
Man, scam ads are still infiltrating even the best of all, but I do get why it can be advertised especially in YouTube, the scammer can just pay for the algorithm to make sure it shows up in the ads, remember that time when someone bought an ad in YouTube but it's the full song of Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley, anyone can pay and it doesn't matter to YouTube if it's a scam one, I think they don't have any quality control in the ads. Really cool that most of the cryptocurrency related stuff are already trying to creep into the mainstream, definitely a big win for us, the community.
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Future Transaction Prices on: June 04, 2024, 04:15:30 PM
If you're that worried about transaction fees, you'd probably be better off storing your bitcoins in a wallet that's following the transaction fees in the mempool, don't give in to the allure of putting your bitcoin in wallets like Trust Wallet, you don't have any benefits in storing your bitcoins there. We can't really do much as hodlers when it comes to the increases in transaction fees but you've got to understand that it's natural and it's not in favor of miners that they're not getting a lot in transaction fees, they're a part of the bitcoin ecosystem too and with bitcoin getting more scarce, it's probably for the best that the fees are increasing seasonally to make bitcoin mining still worthy investment.
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can small countries in accepting bitcoin as legal transaction? on: June 04, 2024, 03:28:26 PM
Most small countries need a lot of ways to make money, they don't have a lot of resources to make money for themselves after all so I'm really sure that if there's favors that can give you money, you're probably going to take that opportunity if you know that it will benefit your country as a whole, there's a reason why a lot of micro countries like Curacao, Virgin Islands, and most of the Caribbean countries are considered a tax havens and hotbeds for shell companies and bitcoin just so happens presents a big opportunity for these small countries, I don't think that they're going to pass up on the opportunity.
