If you've exhausted all your options, giving it a try is all you can do. Maybe the recovery service is going to be able to ask better questions as to what the password could consist of (a long shot), and they're going to have more than a single 1050 Ti. |

'Soon' for now means somewhere around summer, assuming there are no delays, at least according to BItcoin Builder who's one of the biggest creditors. Payouts will have to go through exchanges, so I wonder if they're going to be hitting people with 'proof of funds' request for coins some have mined or otherwise acquired over a decade ago... |

Let's start using money supply instead of market cap when it comes to bitcoin.
The problem with using market cap is that people compare it with stocks (that have market cap) then see their total market cap is smaller and it scares them when they compare it with bitcoin's that has surpassed $1 trillion and what it will surpass when it goes above $1 million price.
Using money supply makes more sense for a currency and it helps us make more useful comparisons such as the fact that the world's total money supply is said to be around $5 quadrillion ($5000 trillion) while bitcoin's money supply is only $1.18 trillion.
In other words this one of a kind global decentralized currency only has 0.023% of total money supply!
I say it will reach at least 10% in the next decade as we get closer to mass adoption which means a price of $26.5 million per bitcoin or better said 26 cents for 1 satoshi.
Where are you getting the $5Q number from? I'm not even sure if it's that much even when all derivatives are included. Maybe your number includes the value of all natural resources on Earth and on the Moon? But I agree there's potentially a lot of room for growth, provided there won't be too much friction when exchanging to/from fiat currencies, and that's uncertain. |

Upon checking the options and the fees for their legal services, I decided to go with Crypto Legal, communication was great, they trace the funds, basically, the scammers have converted my XLM into BNB and have sent it to Binance.
The solicitors manage to flag the funds as stolen and freeze the scammer account in Binance, it took some time, around 6 weeks, but I'm happy they have managed to recover most of the stolen assets. Care to mention which of the so-called crypto recovery companies are total scams, as opposed to the ones you're claiming to have used? Yes, I suppose a lot of people will be fine using such software, just as they buy Bitcoin on centralized exchanges and leave it there, or buy through Paypal or similar services. But I think that privacy-conscious forum users would not be happy to have everything they buy tracked by a third party and the government. At least I think it departs from the original idea of Bitcoin being a P2P electronic cash system. If someone's using a card connected to a CEX they'd be more inclined to report and pay tax on every transaction, no matter how small, a privacy conscious person who sells BTC for fiat via other means probably won't bother unless they're making a bigger purchase where it's harder to avoid paying, i.e. when buying real estate. |

Proces w Polsce? Trudno mi w to uwierzyć Jak się nie przedawniło czy Ci się nudzi, a jesteś poszkodowany to możesz iść. Ale FYI, ten koleś już był aresztowany we Włoszech w 2019 i został wypuszczony. Szanse na odzyskanie czegokolwiek są bliskie zera. |
