1041  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: List of Major Bitcoin Heists, Thefts, Hacks, Scams, and Losses on: January 11, 2020, 02:22:21 AM
Hats-off to the author who have put in so much of effort in organizing and presenting so valuable data to us. My observation, most of the cases involves exploiting the loopholes of these system (ofcourse with manual interference). Also, I observed the amount is getting lower and lower with time. Is it due to increase in security?

The thread hasn't been updated in a very long time, but the amounts might be getting lower with time only in terms of raw bitcoins, the average real market value of a major scam is much higher than in the early days, which is unsurprising given how many more people use Bitcoin and how much the price has increased.

ok cool, thanks. what do you think would be a good addition to the website.

Instead of adding new things, decide what you want your website to be about, and make it more visually appealing and user friendly. Right now, my first instinct when visiting your site is to press Ctrl + W.
1043  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Partners and Partnerships on: January 10, 2020, 11:04:09 PM
did you check out the music stations and are they playing?

Z100 - works

HOT 97 - doesn't work, error 224003, 'file cannot be played'

Q104.3 - works

DC101 - works

BIG 100 - works

Didn't bother scrolling all the way down, there's way too much scrolling required BTW, it's very inconvenient from a user perspective.
1044  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Partners and Partnerships on: January 10, 2020, 10:46:05 PM
well what do u like and dislike about it?

Everything sucks, sorry.

When visiting your site it's unclear what it's about, the frontpage is empty, I had to click on the Menu to find out there's anything else there. It looks to me you're trying to do multiple totally unrelated things with your site, and badly too. Under the "Wallet Help & Add Nodes" link both the text and the background are in black. Same with most text under the "Sports Scores & News" link. I'd decide first what you want to do with the site + work on the visuals before seeking partnerships.

Thats correct but the license used by the mentioned site was somehow upgrade than the license used by FJ because Antillephone license is a sublicense which are issue by master license owners and companies or sites that use such license are expected to always take the right precaution which i believe was what Nutildah is trying to explain.
Note : FJ belong to Antillephone NV 8048/JAZ while  Bustabit and Bustadice to Apis N.V. #365/JAZ which might the reason why there rules are somehow different.

Thanks, that sounds like a reasonable explanation, as unfortunate as it is. I hope it doesn't one day lead to bustabit/bustadice too having to introduce similar rules (last year they had to amend their ToS to exclude players from certain countries, for example). I still think requiring a betting turnover of double the deposited amount is excessive, though.

BSV to efekt kłótni w środowisku BCH.

The rollover requirement is part of standard procedures that must be used by casinos with the Antillephone N.V. Curacao license. It has to do with fulfilling their particular AML policies. Bustabit and Bustadice don't hold this license, hence they don't have the requirement.

Bustabit and bustadice both had the Curacao license last time I checked but can't find anything on their sites now. Apis N.V. is the entity behind the two sites and it is registered in Curacao though.

If they didn't have that in place, then those looking to launder their bitcoin would do it solely through casinos and there would be no need for mixing services.

Casinos are legal businesses which will comply with court/prosecutor's orders so using them as mixers to launder bitcoins isn't the smartest of ideas.
1048  Economy / Speculation / Re: Darknet's Child Porn and Bitcoin on: January 09, 2020, 08:10:39 AM
I just saw this piece of news today, am wondering would this bring even more negativity to BTC? And what happen to the Bitcoins this scum had amassed?

Not the first, not the last, good that they got the culprits, but a single site like that being seized (or not) has no effect on how Bitcoin is perceived because most people/buyers/hodlers are already aware of its potentially nefarious applications.

Lets have some Common sense please as the world is already fucked up enough.
to the op I think someone  tricked you into thinking it was abuse when instead it was a way to stir the pot.

I think the most likely explanation is one that is the simplest - someone used their alt accounts or hacked accounts to rain some merits on an account with no negative feedback so that they can start ranking it, or because it's now probably worth *something* and they could sell it. It is also possible the owner of that account bought merits from someone else.
1050  Local / Polski / Re: Bitcoin Embassy on: January 08, 2020, 01:57:43 AM
1051  Local / Polski / Re: Bitcoin Embassy on: January 07, 2020, 10:30:14 PM

Gdyby załóżmy połowa użtkowników wypłaciła środki i to miałoby wystarczyć to wyciągnięcia całego pokrycia jakiejś giełdy, to druga połowa - czyli sporo ludzi - straciłaby pewnie niezłą kaskę.

Lepiej teraz niż np. za rok-dwa gdy giełda będzie mieć więcej użytkowników i więcej do stracenia. Jak obecnie by miało brakować środków w razie wzrostu kursu byłoby jeszcze gorzej.
1053  Local / Polski / Re: Bitcoin Embassy on: January 07, 2020, 12:14:56 PM

1054  Local / Polski / Re: Bitcoin Embassy on: January 07, 2020, 11:12:48 AM
Nie będzie prób analogicznych jakie miały miejsce względem tzw. "dopalaczy"?

1055  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why I am temporarily wearing an unpaid, unsolicited Chipmixer signature ad on: January 07, 2020, 05:50:53 AM
VPN it's very hard topic to talk. For example, "quality" of the VPN as a service highly depends from country where you located and VPN company located. Example: I'm in Ukraine, and Ukraine don't have any diplomatic agency with Taiwan, so i can easily use Taiwanese VPN, because ukrainian police or intelligence agency can't force these VPN's to share information about me. I think you understand why so, countries and their services (like police) interact with each other through embassies or consulates. The only way is to use Interpol or some other such services.

On the other hand, it's not a good idea to use taiwanese vpn if you're from USA, because Taiwan is highly dependent of the USA.

Just because two non-hostile countries don't have official diplomatic relations between one another doesn't mean any cooperation can be completely ruled out. Depends on how much of a high-value target one becomes.

For the most ironic of countless petty examples that I have recently seen all over the Internet, observe how a a technical discussion on tor.stackexchange was cut short with extreme rudeness (archived):

Strange reaction, given that user's activity on tor.stackexchange. Maybe he had other reservations about creating new circuits such as extra load to the Tor network?
1056  Economy / Reputation / Re: Fortunejack Withdrawal Problem on: January 06, 2020, 10:54:39 PM
Article 8.1.1 in the FortuneJack's T&C :

"8.1.1. On Slots, Casino Games and Live Games Your deposit amount must be wagered, be turned over 2 (two) times;"

They can investigate the deposit & player activity, this would fall under a "security check" I guess ?

That is quite a lot, actually, and I bet it's more about fleecing as much from their users...

I think its just normal for any gambling site to check the newly created account won huge rewards in very short time to validate there is no abuse happened at the bet before approving your withdrawal request. It could happen with anyone, so today it is you but doesn't think it's a fraudulent activity I hope your transaction will be processed ASAP once the responsible staff get into his job.

Some of the biggest cryptocurrency gambling sites such as bustabit or bustadice don't do this. You can withdraw as much in a single withdrawal without extra verification anytime you want to and without delays. The hot wallet is well above 100 BTC AFAIK so big enough for everyone except for the biggest of whales.
1057  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Partners and Partnerships on: January 06, 2020, 10:07:19 PM
which one did you checkout?

http://cryptoflip.epizy.com/

edit: yes, I did checkout the site, it's a mess, what do you want to do with it? Feel fre to ask anyone else for a 2nd opinion.
1058  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Partners and Partnerships on: January 06, 2020, 09:47:08 PM
What website and who exactly are you looking for? The one your profile is linking to doesn't provide much information.
1059  Local / Polski / Re: Bitcoin Embassy on: January 06, 2020, 09:13:50 PM
