101  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on the way to $10,000 on: May 11, 2019, 05:31:49 PM
Bitcoin is witnessing the all time pump currently and it has gained over $500 since morning.  At the time of opening this thread it is around $6,801. I think we should get ready for $10,000 soonest.  I thought that we would be discussing $10,000 by November or December but currently it seems it might happen before end of this month or next month if the current momentum is sustained.  I hope this happened and I wish all the holdlers, happy profits!!!
We are all aware that we were already walking down the part of Bullish trend the moment bitcoin witnessed a spike on 1st of April, that moment interpreted to me that the BULLS had entered the market, just that they didn’t buy with full force, the little investment they made to test the market was what gave us that big increase, and now that they are sure the market has recovered and out of the bear’s hand finally, there will be more investment now from them and general investors, which will make me agree with you that the price of bitcoin hitting $10,000 by October is very feasible.
102  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't Fomo , 3800$ incoming ? on: May 11, 2019, 02:24:15 PM
this was a very good educational experience for everyone who "panicked" here thinking a drop is coming. it can teach you not to go against the market trend when it is obviously in an upward movement just because you saw SMAs looking a certain way because they don't indicate anything specially when all the rest of the signs (the market trend, the sentiment, the volume,...) pointing to a rise instead.
I am a bitcoin believer and I have substantial investment in bitcoin till date but I still believe that there will be a very big retrace soon back to $4000 or $4500 possibly, you are right that the market is obviously switching to an uptrend, but presently, the market has been overbought, so there is a possibility for a big retrace before we fully embark on the uptrend that will lead us to the bull run.

So for a long term holder, they should keep continue holding but for short term investment, this is not the right time for them to buy if I may say, so they should be patient. Anyway, I know time will tell and we will know who is good at it.
103  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is going up again. on: May 11, 2019, 01:36:41 PM
I have been among the people that are optimistic that bitcoin will really rise this year, although I was not expecting the bull run, I only expect to see a green market all through the year that will keep increasing the prices of bitcoin slowly till probably we get up to $12k, but the new move of bitcoin now has been quite confusing to me.

It seems to me that it is already trying to form a BULLISH pattern, I am being very careful now not to FOMO, it is a bit quite tempting though to quickly jump, but I will still and be patient to watch things first, I never expected bitcoin to have crossed over $6000 so soon.
104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: There should be a wikipedia page of casinos that accept bitcoin on: May 11, 2019, 12:44:03 PM
I'm no sure about this but I think there already are some websites that keep a history of all bitcoin casinos and they have it sorted based on currencies so it's pretty easy to find out those who accept bitcoin deposits. I don't know if a Wikipedia page is also required for that, maybe only for the purpose of promotion because mnay people know and visit that page.
I don’t think  that already exist and I doubt if Wikipedia would accept anything of such . I feel Wikipedia should be left alone for better activities that would grow individuals that visit the site not gambling. Gamblers that have interest in whoever kind of games should do their research and know the right places to find the best casino site.

If it was Bitcoin alone, I would personally find any means to air it out and let the world and as many that needs to know, know about it but now that gambling is involved, I do not have interest because I have lost too much money on gambling and I will not like younger generation who are on Wikipedia for better things find out about the game.
Wikipedia should be left alone for batter activities don’t get that pls. Are you insinuating that gambling is not one of those good activities, and if you are sure of publishing Bitcoin then you should support anything that connects or has a relationship with it. WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT HERE IS LETTING MORE PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT  gambling sites that accepts Bitcoin through the use of Wikipedia.

I feel it would be a great idea in promoting cryptocurrency and as well gambling, so many people believe so much in cryptocurrency and are yet to know about gambling sites accepting crypto, it will be a way to let them know this.
If you are so determined to let crypto gambling well known, I advise you try and create good topics and share on very popular blogs, Facebook pages and other social media applications but I feel it shouldn’t be on Wikipedia. What business does Wikipedia have to do with gambling? Wikipedia is a place for serious minded people not seriousness gambling that is good at destroying the lives of individuals, making people go broke daily.

I  don’t even think it is right at all to put gambling on a Wikipedia site, a place where our younger generations are exposed to learning, and it would corrupt children that are supposed to be learning  educational things, so I truly stand against having gambling sites on Wikipedia site.
105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC procedure in online casinos does more good than bad or the other way around? on: May 11, 2019, 12:13:41 PM
Big red flag for me the KYC things, especially that casino is using cryptocurrency for their platform. Since crypto is for decentralization then that kind of platform should be also, but we can't force them to submit their personal identification for KYC, if they don't want, they can use another alternative platform for gambling.
Indeed. Nothing can be more annoying than a crypto casino site that asks for KYC. Considering that crypto currency is all about decentralization one would expect that any crypto accepting gambling site would follow suite, but some would still be requesting for KYC. It can be so annoying and for me, I don’t go near them at all, after all that’s not the only site.

There are so many gambling sites that accepts Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency and as well don’t pay attention to KYC regulations. I know of fortune Jack. I have been using this site for a while now and there’s nothing like KYC, and it also offers too many varieties of interesting games.
There’s no point stressing ourselves over a casino site that requests for KYC. That’s their business and they have their reason for making such decision but whatever it is, I cannot play on a KYC site, it’s not too secured, and too risky to drop personal information on a gambling site

I am aware of so many gambling sites that still accept cryptocurrency, in short I am presently playing on stakes using my dogecoin, very affordable for me and safe, so I don’t see any reason why a site should bring a policy that doesn’t not favor me at all, considering the fact that cryptocurrency is  for decentralization and any crypt site is expected to be the same.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Selling tokens/low market cap coins for Bitcoin? on: May 11, 2019, 11:09:33 AM
Hello,
didn't you ask yourself if it is not better to sell all of your low market cappitalization coins (mostly earned in bounty campaigns) and buy more Bitcoins?
Because I do not see any price progress in these altcoins,  like in 2017 bull market when all of these tokens were highly valuable and could make 1000% anytime.
Now most of them seems like dead. And I am asking myself: Now, it is the best time to sell them all and get atleast some Bitcoins?
Imagine that you sell all of your tokens for 1000$ and buy Bitcoin that costs now 5000$.
Imagine that you didn't sell and all of your tokens will still have same value, but Bitcoin will reach new ATH price.

It is not possible to see a bull run in the price of tokens as it were in 2017, because 2017 was when we had a lot of tokens being created in the market and then investors cared less about what they offer but the profit they could make within a short period of time, though we have now seen a correction in the market which have separated the good tokens/coins from the bad once, this is why we saw the price of so many coin in the market go so low never to recover.
Hmm mate, this statement of yours really fear me, I am still trying to hold on to some of my token and hoping that the bull run would at least pick them up for me to be able to sell them and buy bitcoin with them.

There are some of my bounty tokens I have already sold and converted to bitcoin now that they still have trading volume, but some are just yet to make any price move, they have not even entered exchanges, and I guess that is goodbye already for those ones.

This should be the more reason why we should not allow the ICO market die, so that we can continue to get some benefits from the new projects, now that we have learnt how to select a good one.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Currencies today ! on: May 11, 2019, 10:33:24 AM
Like other traders, I'm curious as to why the Crypto market is as bad as it is today, is there a particular reason?
If you remember, last 2017 the price of Bitcoin rise by around 2000%. I think the year 2018 is the time where the market corrected and that happened. The whole market just plummeted and the price of Bitcoin goes from near 20,000 to near 3,000 in a span of 15 months. Now the market is continuously rising and many saying that this is the start of the bull market but I think it is not.
Why do you think we are not in the BULL trend yet, because you have not seen a speedy increase?  After the market went very bad, people carried more of bad and discouraging news about the market that weekend lots of new investors from making move to continue with the investment.

This FUD news trend became so much throughout last year, that ICO scammer contributed their own quota too to reason why market didn’t pick on time, but we can see that this year, there has been more of Good news in the market, IEO came to allay fears of investors.

Large industries planning to adopt the use of cryptocurrency, some government already making moves to regulate crypto, and I think this news is already making big effect in the market and will continue to attract more investors that will make the full BULL seen.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOES IEO PROTECT BOUNTY HUNTERS ? on: May 11, 2019, 09:52:16 AM
Most members of this forum have participated in one bounty or the other and must have been shocked by the project team either by not paying them, payment reduced to $0 after 16 weeks of hard job or the token/coin does not get listed or the project is a scam entirely.

Can we now agree that the IEO projects will protect the interests of the bounty hunters ?

If IEOs take place why would there be the need to have bounty hunters?

All users on that exchange will know about the IEO therefore leaving bounty hunters redundant.
See mate, the hype some of these exchanges have are what is making any project they register get sold out on time, especially Binance, but a time will come that project will become too much that they will need the services of hunters too to broadcast it to the rest of the world.

Recently I read where someone complained about bittrex having an IEO project for like over 2 weeks and yet, the percentage of fund raised left to meet up is still very much. Because the hype is already over and IEO is no longer a new thing to the existing users, so they will need new people, that is where hunters will come in, and I am sure since its exchanges that will also be handling the part of hunters, they would have already gotten the allocation for hunters too ready.
109  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Suggest me?? on: May 11, 2019, 08:27:19 AM
sorry before, but I think investing with $ 10 will only make your funds eroded by costs. But if you are sure of that, then choose coins that you feel have good potential and then hold on.
Most of the coins I would have suggested the OP invest into are the top 20 coins that we have in the coinmarket and we still have some that are quite cheap for him to buy, like ADA, XLM, TRON IOTA and many more of them in the top 20, but he will need to be extremely patient for years before his little profit can really give him an good profit.

Maybe one of them will get him $1000 in 10 to 20 years to come, but if he is looking for quick profit with such amount, he might have to go gamble with it, or probably join Ponzi scheme, because there is absolutely no way any coin can give a fat profit with such low amount.
110  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance traders are making more money than other traders on: May 10, 2019, 06:10:22 PM
Binance is one of the few exchanges with 100% real volume with live traders, and that is one of the reason of higher income.
This is the reason why people make more money on Binance than they do on any other platform. This is also the reason why Binance has gotten so many users and why is it making so much money. Basically they have focused on the utility of the user and the more you do that, the more costumers you get. They do not list a coin with weak project that could hurt the trust of the users.
I just feel the reason why other traders make money is because Binance gave the chance for them to do so due to their not greedy nature, everyone knows that the higher the trading volume they get, the more profit that they have, and since they have gotten a very high volume trade, instead of keeping the whole profit to themselves, they decided to spread it accordingly by reducing transactions fees, that is why they could have very low transactions fees that makes their traders have more money than the rest of exchanges traders when they trade, but a trader must still know how to trade for them to enjoy this benefit.
111  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Suggest me?? on: May 09, 2019, 08:25:28 PM
Hey! guys, I am looking for a small investment on a trading platform. I am looking for 10$ investment, hope you guys can suggest a coin which I can trade and make a profit...
I understand your pocket man, but that amount is too small to really get any meaningful profit from it either trading or holding, we are no longer in the time of Bitcoin when it started, where people bought bitcoin with less than $10 and was able to reap over $100,000 in future, most projects that would have been able to give that has a very low drive and can’t move the market to product such amount.

The only project I could think of his for you to invest it in Binance, before the end of the year, I expect Binance to increase to $100, so you can still buy half of Binance to give you $50 this year, then by next year, and you can start trading with that one on some top altcoins.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Existing problems totally unsolved on: May 09, 2019, 05:57:22 PM
This issue of dumping has to really do with investors and nothing more, they are the ones that have the power to remain in the market or leave the market at the pint they like since it is their money.

Most investors don’t stay in the market the moment they get profit in their investment, and the moment they pull that heavy fund from the project market cap, what do you expect?, a sharp decline in the value of the project. Except we want exchanges and developers to start restricting the amount of token an investor can have access to, which will be like outing them in bandage over their own money.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Litecoin dead? What's happening? on: May 09, 2019, 04:35:37 PM
Litecoin, for all I know, aspired to be the "fast cryptocurrency that big corporations like Amazon were going to start using". As of today... I feel like Litecoin is essentially dying  Angry I hold quite a good amount of LTC and really don't know what to do with it...

Thoughts?

Edit; I found this nice article that summarizes what LTC has been up to but idk how I feel about this...: https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/whats-happening-with-litecoin/
They are not dyeing, but you cannot expect them to be as popular as they use to be when every project want to enter the market and create their own cryptocurrency too, they only survive on projects depending on them, but now that most projects are also trying to do similar thing, they will not get the attention they use to get before.

Using me as an example and many of us in this forum, when last did we really use the service of litecoin, there has been so many alternatives to them that people can easily have access to too. Amazon would have been a big fish for them; same amazon will prefer to create its own coin for their internal operation.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CHOICE BETWEEN BITCOINTALK AND PLATFORM BOUNTIES. on: May 08, 2019, 11:55:12 AM
It's better to participate bitcointalk bounties because those are transparent enough and data are publicly published. You can always check the accuracy of the calculation. On the other hand, if you use a platform, you don't know anything about the calculation. They can easily cheat the system.
Despite the fact that people say some bad stuff about managers, we still cannot compare the transparency of bitcoin managers to that of other platforms. I have had quite a number of encounters with majority of them and realized that they only created such platform for their personal interest and not interest of their hunters as they claim.

There are some that will just give you certain token at the end of the campaign without even letting you know how they manage to arrive at that calculation, which usually resolve to little amount. Some of the platforms I have even participated in, virtually all their tokens has not entered exchange, I have not seen 1 of them enter exchange.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 6 Reasons why IEO is better than ICO on: May 08, 2019, 11:23:30 AM
100% agreed with all the points of OP's posted. The biggest point is 80% of ICOs are scams which is very true, i think this is why investors move their funds/investment to IEOs. Investor don't need verify KYC again and again, also supported by a big exchange like binance, huobi, bittrex and many else.
There are so many benefits of IEO platform, and I have never even really thought of one of the benefits that you mentioned which you are very much right about it, that alone has even covered the whole stress ICO gives making one to keep submitting KYC from time to time.

People fear KYC more than they fear the devil himself LOL, now imagine a system that will make it easy for them to just do KYC once, which is on exchanges and from there, they have no business submitting any form of verification to these projects over and over again, since these exchanges are the ones directly handling the projects.
116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: There should be a wikipedia page of casinos that accept bitcoin on: May 08, 2019, 10:50:44 AM
Wikipedia is the website and this kinda good for an information source, maybe that is not advisable that to have promoted gambling and it will publish the gambling industry regarding gambling bounty. Or maybe there are instances that may be the owner didn't like the gambling industry to involve.
I don't think Wikipedia is a reliable source because first of all the information there could be edited by anyone which means someone who has evil deeds could change it easily. They could change the list of reputed ones into a fraud one but if you are going to find an authentic one then you go for this forum, you can spot a legit crypto casino in this forum like Vegascasino which has a feature that you can even play live so you can guarantee that there's no anomaly occurs.
You sound reasonable and I am impressed with your opinion. There are a lot of people who are not qualified to gamble and it won’t be right to expose them to it since Wikipedia is a lace for everyone.

Let’s leave casino site information to the places it can easily be located, whoever that is in serious need of any information regarding gambling should know where to get it, must  not be on Wikipedia. There are so many avenues that have displayed where gambling sites can easily be seen so there is no need placing it on an open place where we can get everyone talking about gambling and seeing.
Anyone that edits such information especially that of a gambling site is only doing it in his own risk because eventually they would still be exposed. I trust my fellow gamblers, once they notice that the site is scam, they would drop negative reviews and soon many people would discover, so I feel that that even the scam site would not want to do that.

My only challenge with having casino site on Wikipedia is that it will give too many people reasons to condemn it more. We already know that gambling has a bad reputation to many, and exposing it too much will give many reasons to want to have it banned because they would feel that a game that is destructive to the young ones would be bad to be on Wikipedia

118  Economy / Economics / Re: New recession is around the corner on: May 03, 2019, 06:57:16 AM
Your starting was great but the end was not good because you didn’t tell us how we can relate this article to cryptocurrency or bitcoin. What those people have done will end up even benefiting them more, they would have succeeded in cutting sot and still make the money they have been asking before.

Now that recession is approaching, any wise person will save towards it too and cut down all cost, also take advantage of the cryptocurrency market to invest and make money before the recession because one thing I am very certain of is that we will see the next bull run before the recession. So in preparation for the recession, bitcoin investment will also play its own part in making it easier for us.
119  Economy / Speculation / Re: What can people expect from BTC in 2019? What influences prices? on: May 03, 2019, 06:12:48 AM
Those multiple yet small bull runs we have together are much more together now than it used to be that is the biggest difference. Back in the day we were all buying on different times and we were all trying to keep up with the prices and all that. Today when prices goes down a bit we wait it out and as soon as it stops we start to work on increasing the price and as soon as it gets a bit high we all buy to trigger another big run, so basically what we have managed from all 2018 and early 2019 is to work together to increase the price.

We had ammo but we used it one by one against all of sellers, now we are using it all together and it helps us a lot more. I don't know what we could potentially do from now on but that will continue to influence the prices for a long time.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NHCT to be listed on exchange on: May 02, 2019, 08:26:41 PM
NHCT has been listed in Bitox and switchdex and the trade will start tomorrow, but in my opinion the listings in both of these exchanges for the start are not a good thing because the two exchanges are only exchanges that have small volumes
You are right about these exchanges, and any sell orders even placed on these exchanges might be there for too long before it gets picked. It will be better the OP holds them first till they enter big and popular exchanges like Binance or till the ones they are already listed on gets volume.

These exchanges you mentioned, funny enough, I have not heard of them, they sound to me like all these exchanges that would be holding shitcoins a lot, first impression really matters, and the impression the project has given by listing on low volume exchanges already interpreted that such project is not a quality one.
