I don't think people who go home with nothing but stories of the casino after losing everything can be called professionals! You need to make bank to be considered a professional gambler and as far as I know such people that make it out with a good pay cheque at the end of their games do exist and I have seen and read about them ,year in year out. But if you count such lucky ones, it turns out that this is a very small percentage of the total number of players. I am not one of them. - When you win, don't bet bigger. stabilize the situation or play at a minimum. This is usually very good to do.
I don't know if this has been added or not, but it's really effective to do when you win. Don't add a bigger number with an even bigger winning goal. It will make you lose and you lose the amount that won before.

I did it a few times but most of the time, i’ll go with the majority because it is a little safer unlike when you bet in an underdog and risk you money. But sometimes going with majority becomes a little boring so it’s nice to go against them at time and it’s just amazing when a time will cone that you won because you go against the majority.

For me, lottery is not that very addictive and the grand prize is very huge if only one person got the lucky numbers.
I have got some friends who are very interested to try their luck by purchasing lottery tickets. They not only buy online lotteries but also offline lotteries too. Its really interesting to see their temptation during draw date. Hopefully they are slightly addicted in this matter or want to be millionaire with one lucky chance  . I will also prefer lottery than the classic gambling because in casinos, the bigger you bet then the larger your winnings you could get but in lottery, even the small bets from average people has the same chance as everyone.
Still there is some differences between gambling and lottery. Specially on sports betting professional gamblers use previous data and research a lot before placing their bet which increase the chances of win undoubtedly. No one gambles absolutely for fun, at least there must be an idea of winning or making money through it at the back of your mind, which increases tension and I see no fun in that. When the term gamble for fun is used, I think what is meant is one should not put ones entire hope in gambling, but should rather take it as a fun activity, where you test your prediction skills  , that way it'll reduce the negative effects losses would have on you. The reason why we are in gambling is not just to have actually but to win prizes. It seems to be useless for me to be here, spending time and losing money without having any chance to take it back.
