101  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie traders, work on yourself. on: May 01, 2024, 09:27:49 PM
Speaking of new traders, my attitude is fixed because there was a time when I was new to crypto and lost a lot of money while trading. On the other hand i really want to speak against trading signals and they are just scams to take money from you by showing you tempting offers. Moreover today we think of Jadar as professional traders once they also lost a lot of money while trading in the beginning. In fact initially there will be decline in the trading market and when you can experience this you can build your profit base.

There is nothing we can get from signals most of the free and premium signals are scam they will give you a signal to any coins and then have a tp1, tp2, tp3 and tp4 but they don't explain why since the price of crypto is too volatile sometimes their prediction hit but again they don't have explanation how did he get those position.

You don't need any other advice or signal all you need is already in trading indicators you just need to learn more about how to validate those signals that you see from the indicator it needs some skills on how to validate them to get a strong probability to where is the best position and to become a profitable trader.
102  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum 2 out of 3 multi-sig wallet needs only one signature on: May 01, 2024, 08:02:36 PM
How did you create the unsigned transaction? is this a raw tex you just copy and paste into Notepad and move it to a USB stick?
Or did you save the unsigned transaction into the PSBT file?

This is the first time to heard that the unsign transaction becomes fully signed even without signing it with the two keys. My guess is this is a bug so it is better to report this issue directly to the Electrum Github page so that they can start investigating it and release a fixed version.

103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not get discouraged by the current price of Bitcoin on: May 01, 2024, 07:42:54 PM
We don't have any control over the current price market of what will be the price of BTC. There is a dark pool of known companies or big traders who privately trade on the crypto market where no one knows if someone in the dark pool is selling a large amount of BTC or buying.
Right now if we see bearish price movement about BTC we can't control anyone who wants to sell their holdings it's the nature of newbies who do not know the risks of crypto I have experienced too that they said BTC is a scam but the fact is I didn't invite them to invest I just let them know about what is bitcoin and how it works.

There's nothing we can do to those who don't believe let them experience some regret once the price of Bitcoin rises again near ATH or reach a new ATH.
104  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Bitcoin Mining for Beginners on: May 01, 2024, 05:38:25 PM
Hi all

on this subject i recently used an app called changenowapp.uk which says you can buy minning machines using usdt
i think is a scam can anyone verify these guys.

Thanks

Based on the age of the website you mention it is still new and I never heard of this website before another thing is when I check the site I don't see anything related to mining machines it is more likely an exchange site and it pushes you to download the app the weird part is instead of redirect you to apple store or play store it downloaded the app directly from their website which is we do not know how safe it is.

Be careful for me the site might be a phishing site better stay away from this site.
105  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum 2 out of 3 multi-sig wallet needs only one signature on: May 01, 2024, 03:56:54 PM
It seems that there is an issue with your Electrum that makes the wallet C think that the unsign transaction you are trying to sign is already signed or it might be a bug or the wallet C is a different wallet?
Or possible you might have made some mistakes during 2of3 wallet creation?
The wallet C should be include the master public key of both A and B if you did mistakes here then that's the reason why it detected as fully signed.

What version of Electrum wallet you are currently using?
106  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Help with a bit of information on mining history on: April 30, 2024, 11:48:49 PM
Thanks for the link, I did not know that BITMAN had USB Bitcoin miner BITMAN U1,U2

Thats the first ASIC miner in USB stick they release before the Antminer s1.
It's not worth buying this USB stick right now because compac F usbminer is far superior than these miner. So if you are planning to buy u1 or u2 go for compact f sidehack might still selling this unit.

Quote from: The Hidebehinder
I read conflicting statements about that, hard for me to grasp but some guys talked about stopping mining when at a loss being even more of a loss, I understand that this would have been the case for companies not home miners but at the same time I don't think one could get their hands on the accounting sheets of a large company.

Mining with ASIC and profitability depends on where you live and the electricity current rate we have a sticky thread here on miner support that will gives you idea before deciding to enter into this business check the link below.

107  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Firmware for S9 SE on: April 29, 2024, 06:10:41 PM
Braiins, Awesomeminer doesn't support this unit yet and I tried to search on Google there is Vnish firmware that supports this unit but I do not know if the site that I found on Google is legit or not because the vnish firmware I know safe is from asic.to.

If your purpose is the low-power mode then you don't need to flash it with different firmware because there is a way to get this hidden feature on this unit try the method by mikeywith below

108  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Freebitco.in is probably hacked and they are well aware of it on: April 28, 2024, 11:56:54 PM
@thequin is magiccly dissapeared or not active on this forum recently.

The last active date is April 11, 2024 maybe they are still on vacation? Since it's summer maybe they are on vacation and they didn't know that their site is currently under attack and the hackers are taking advantage while their staffs are currently on vacation?

Since you said you are still able to see the address under old addresses then maybe you accidentally clicked the new deposit address?
If you are sure you didn't click it then you should still be able to receive it even if it is under on old deposit address.

Maybe the BTC you send is still unconfirmed better check the transaction on any Bitcoin explorer and try to use blockchair.com to check the transaction because according to them it needs 1 confirmation if it still unconfirmed then that's the issue.
109  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it advisable for a beginner to invest in a newly launch project? on: April 28, 2024, 11:20:00 PM
If it is a beginner then that is not advisable for newly launched projects unless if he knows the risk and if he is a risk taker I saw many newbies doing this these days but some of them are happy with the outcome however for me, it's still not advisable.
It still the best thing to do as a beginner is always to DYOR before investing to any project and be smart because there are lots of project out there just built for pump and dump or for scam purposes only.

This forum also is a good place to ask about the project so if you are the one who is guiding him or giving advice I suggest bring him here on the forum instead so that he can ask something related to the project here on the forum to get some ideas from other users who have more experience than him that is the best advice.
110  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Freebitco.in is probably hacked and they are well aware of it on: April 28, 2024, 11:07:18 PM
Do you mean that the deposit address even though you created a new account on freebitco.in is the same deposit address?

Have you tried to use another internet connection or a data sim? Because I'm thinking about the router it might be infected with malware/virus.

or Better report your issue @TheQuin that's the only user that I know currently active here that works on freebitco.in
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Atomic Wallet Staking Rewards For LUNC Is 38% on: April 28, 2024, 10:56:10 PM
For now, I don't think this is the right time to buy LUNC with the current trend as you can see on the chart it is a downtrend so I don't think this is a good time to buy and stake in LUNC as you can its already lost 30% in 1 month meaning if you staking this for almost a year you already lost 30% of your staking reward so it's risky to start right now with the current price structure.

However, if it shows some signs of a bullish reversal that is a good time to start staking or buying this token while in a bullish trend.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not able to sell thus coin though the dexscreener shows the coin is regularly so on: April 28, 2024, 09:23:45 PM
Hi mate,  tried on PC also. Apparently I'm not having any issues in swapping any other token except this one. An extert guidance would be much appreciated
Thanks

Are you sure that you have a balance in your wallet?
And what wallet you currently use to swap Brett?

I did some research a bit on the Base network on how to swap and I found a video on how to buy Brett in the base network so I think you can get some idea of how to swap your Brett in the base network into other coins or ETH. Check the link below.

- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=clhWQ0UZcaY
It should give you an idea of how to swap them into ETH as a sample from that video.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not able to sell thus coin though the dexscreener shows the coin is regularly so on: April 28, 2024, 09:02:38 PM
Is this contract address you posted above is your wallet address?
When I check it on basescan I don't see any Brett balance on this address but I see some transactions look at this link below.

- https://basescan.org/address/0x2D052528E6c65D5fc2E9C222fA5aC19166eEB12F

Are you sure that you have Brett's balance?

I already check it on other explorer but no balance.

I want to add this and try other DEX site listed here https://www.base.org/ecosystem?tag=all
Use the keyword Swap.
114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No risk no gain on: April 28, 2024, 07:43:34 PM
Well, what you did is risky it is likely a gamble because you didn't DYOR before you invested you are just lucky that you bought BTC at the cheap price but if you did buy it at the highest price at 64k in 2021 and holding it until the bearish season around the year 2022 and I'm sure you'll regret and your brother will think he is right.

That is why before you invest to any asset to get the best decision investing always do a DYOR and ask professional traders as a sample of what will happen to Bitcoin in the future or here on the forum you should get some ideas that can increase the decision making and probability what will the price of BTC in the future.
You need to gain some knowledge about Bitcoin and ask yourself why "Bitcoin would increase in the future?" one sample answer is block halving since the price of Bitcoin is based on demand and supply once the block halving happens the price of Bitcoin will increase because the supply will drop came from miners due to the half block reward and even the demand is the same as before the price should increase.
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Samourai Wallet - BTC Recovery on: April 28, 2024, 06:36:23 PM
you had right, not i recovered with my Passphrase and both Transactions are there Smiley
Thank you for lighting my mind up  Cool

Did you successfully recover your wallet?

If it succeeds better move your BTC to a new wallet like Electrum because the Samourai wallet has been seized by the government it is not a good wallet anymore.

In case you still haven't recovered your wallet yet the link provided by Cricktor should be the right way to recover your wallet with the right derivation path.

Or optional if you know the exact BTC address of your current wallet then extracting the private key from your backup seed phrase with the correct passphrase can be the best option.
There is a tool called Mmemonic code converter tool that you can use to extract private keys from your Samourai seed and passphrase you can follow the procedure from this link below.

- https://github.com/Samourai-Wallet/samourai-wallet-android/blob/develop/Guides/Restore%20%26%20Recovery.md#reveal-all-individual-private-keys-in-the-wallet

And take note run it on the offline device for safety purposes and import it to Electrum and don't forget to move all funds right away to a new wallet(Electrum as sample)
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Malware / trojans detected on: April 27, 2024, 11:37:12 PM
Since it's not an open source we do not know how safe these software is but if you want to monitor your miner  as suggested above HiveOS is better it support almost all mining software with good dashboard.

Or use awesomeminer free but limited to 2 mining rig.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AI-DePIN mining on: April 27, 2024, 10:58:53 PM
Isnt that all depin can be mineable through network?
I mean sample Helium which is one of the depin that can be mine through hotspot that doesnt need so much power to mine so why Ai depin use Kawpow algo?
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How to CPFP with Bitcoin Core? on: April 27, 2024, 10:13:21 PM
I think you can do that by just enabling the unconfirmed change on the settings but I don't know if it will work on the output that came from other wallets.

However, in case if it does not work you can generate a PSBT transaction from Electrum just import the BTC address from your Bitcoin core wallet to Electrum and then make a transaction there and send it to any address or send it to the same address(Your BTC address) once you created a transaction save it into .PSBT and sign it to your Bitcoin core wallet and broadcast the transaction.

I never done this before but I think this will work.
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: bitcoind service (systemd) cannot run on: April 27, 2024, 09:02:18 PM
I found a similar issue on Google and it seems that you need to edit the bitcoind.service because it is configured as user: bitcoin and group: bitcoin by default you need to replace it with root if you were currently running it on root user.

And also I'm pointing out this setting below and you set it to true which is why the error denied access popup while currently running it on the root user change it to false and try to run it again.
"# Deny access to /home, /root and /run/user
ProtectHome=true"

Here's the source below that I found and hope you can get some idea how to set up bitcoind.service properly.

120  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Has anyone tried Xeggex ? on: April 26, 2024, 10:49:06 PM
Pretty bad after checking the web source of the site and I saw some tracking tools they use which is pretty bad to any exchanges

Code:
<!-- Google tag (gtag.js) -->
<script async src="https://www.googletagmanager.com/gtag/js?id=G-Q5EP9CV525"></script>
<script>
  window.dataLayer = window.dataLayer || [];
  function gtag(){dataLayer.push(arguments);}
  gtag('js', new Date());

  gtag('config', 'G-Q5EP9CV525');

It also track what browser and device you use at the bottom of the source code.

This means this website is low quality a real company or exchange always hires a professional and they do have their own analytics on the backend, unlike this website which only uses Google tag for tracking and other scripts they possibly use to collect data from your browser.

Be careful not to access the site if your browser is not protected and it is obviously a scam site.
