101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT Tokens a Good Long Term Investments? on: March 08, 2022, 09:28:53 PM
The google trends showing that NFT is getting lesser and lesser attention these days. The reality is that there are some good utility NFT projects out there and that makes sense, and there are some top names, and even though I do not find "cryptopunks" or ape stuff not so logical to invest, people do invest hundreds of thousands of dollars into it.

However, we had a period where EVERYONE started their own NFT and the hype was too unrealistic to sustain. Now that it is going down, we are going to see a few good projects come out of it, and some that will use the utility part of NFT very well and that is when things start to get real good in the crypto process.
102  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What did you learn about crypto trading? on: March 08, 2022, 03:23:14 PM
First of all what I learnt from people was to always make sure that I am trading with what I can afford to lose, and I did have some couple of experience that did show that I have to be careful and calculative at all times with how I am investing and trading in the cryptocurrency market, if I really want to make it. Then the next thing that I also learnt was that I should avoid relying on my emotions when making a decision in the market.

Next, which is something I learnt from myself, is that it is good to make sure that we are getting the right information, whatever the source may be. Wrong information can ruin a lot of people’s hope in this market. You have to be able to tell what is right and what is not, and try to be careful with coins that are being hyped.
103  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: PROFIT must not be top priority in trading, instead of LEARNING first. on: March 08, 2022, 04:44:02 AM
I understand how bad if we lose money on our first trade but I think we have to understand as well that not all went too easily. There is something we need to change and instead of focusing on how to earn money, it supposes we have to focus on how to enhance our knowledge and skills first. For the moment that we have all of these things, it can be easy for us to make a profit in the market...it guarantees nothing but nobody was able to succeed in the absence of these things.
Even losses happening while crypto trading for the hundredth time, it will be frustrating for sure. Money is always money and there cannot be any exception on emotion bonding while losing it. This is the reason many people are still believing that profit is most important thing in trading; this way they are forgetting about the basics of making profits which must be the learning part.

Everyone should be aware of the fact that learning and practicing in live environment is more important for making profit in trading. When we are spending lots of time on this learning part then we can easily make profits. Traders who rush into live trading without giving enough time and efforts for learning part will find many frustrating losses in the end and then may go back to learning or simply quit. So, success on trading and how effectively pursuing that is purely depends on our learning part.
104  Economy / Economics / Re: Your opinion on side jobs on: March 08, 2022, 04:07:02 AM
General opinion is that a side job is one that supports the main income of an individual, often times perceived as something that brings little money to add to what you make from your day job. If Mr X earns better from a side job when compared to the income from his career option, does the side job still qualify to be called a side job?
Lol I think a side job still remains a side job regardless of whether you’re making a lot of money from it than your first or main job, since the main job is likely to be taking more of your day time than the side job does. In the day time when you wake up, which of the jobs do you commit most of your day time doing?

It’s the first job right? So, it still remains your main job and the other one will be your side job.

Although for some people when they start to notice that they are making more money from their side job, they would quit their first job to put extra focus on their side job and make it the main thing since they are now realizing more gain from it.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How will Coinmarketcap look in 2025? on: March 07, 2022, 04:39:58 PM
Seems like a bit of a far fetched idea right now.

Axie is definitely not going to be in the Top 10 - it's mechanics rewards early adopters heavily and I don't think that there is going to be a lot of incentive for later comers to the party.

P2E is overhyped as hell.

Avalanche does have a lot of potential but no way I think it'll flip both BTC and ETH on a market cap basis, just because of the fact that it is much younger and less mature - and have much less integrations.
Of course it is, that is just a way to attract people to discussion. Look at that list, it has avax at the top, which we all know not going to happen, Link at second, which is funny, like who in the hell would make it go to second, not that many people will buy it for sure, uniswap at third is not really impossible if it is behind btc and eth, but not likely neither when you have things like bnb, and we have bitcoin at fourth. Bitcoin at fourth!

Obviously this is just a made up list that was done by the OP to make it a bit more controversial and get attention. Otherwise if you know what you are doing in crypto, you would know that this will not happen.

107  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Before getting into trading on: October 22, 2021, 08:38:49 PM
I have to say that there is a good case we could say "self learning" as what we do ourselves and not what we learn ourselves. Like for example if I am reading a book written by someone, that is still self learning, if I am watching a youtube video, that is self learning, if I am checking others trades, that's self learning. Self learning basically means not having a teacher or a course path and you doing whatever you want in the world to learn something.

I personally believe that we are doing fine right now and we will probably be doing fine a long time as well, there is really nothing that keeps me in check right now so I doubt I would ever follow anyone else's path, that's self learning.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the most bullish altcoin of the week? on: October 22, 2021, 06:58:04 PM
SOL made like 25% this week as well. This thing keeps going higher and higher, I do not know what we are going to do next. I mean it is certainly something that I would love to see going up, but it is also risky to see things go up this much. We all know that when you reach that level, eventually you start to drop down a lot as well. I am fearing a crash could be near for SOL, because it has increased so much in the recent period, from 25 bucks to over 200+ and down a lot and now back to 200+ sounds a lot of increase in a short period of time.

Let's wait and see how it does, I already sold mine not because I fear it will fall, but because they froze the blockchain, I do not hold things that are centralized, but I do support the idea, and hope to see it succeed, it will help all other coins anyway so that is why I want the best for SOL in any case.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bag holders of SOL? on: October 22, 2021, 06:04:09 PM
it happened to me before with CHZ, now it seems history repeats and I ended up with a bag of SOL. Grin
What's best in my scenario, still trade it and accumulate more SOL, sell and look for something else or holding it hoping one day i'll reach again $200?
But, SOL is already at $200, so what are your plans now, would you want to sell the coins you’re holding or you’re still going to continue holding it? I can’t tell you whether it will keep improving from here, but it is quite possible. SOL is a good investment to hold right now, and it’s one of the top trends this year, apart from others like SHIB, Binance Smart Chain and the rest of them.

What should determine whether you’re going to be selling your coins now is the amount of profit you have made so far. If you feel that what you have now is enough, then you can go ahead and sell if you want to, if not, and you’re ready to go on with your Hodl (having it in mind that the market can still reverse) it’s up to you.
110  Economy / Economics / Re: The Economic Gap has Exceeded the Tolerance Limit on: October 22, 2021, 03:32:48 PM
I agree that it's not fair, and that redistribution is very important. The gap has been widening over decades, and that's not supposed to be happening when society is getting more prosperous. That's why it's important to adjust tax legislation to ensure that the richest people in the world can't get away with paying low or zero taxes.
The gap is widening for many reasons; if a lazy man and his family suffers due to poverty then we cannot do anything about that but if a family suffers due to inefficient or corrupted government then I agree redistribution of economy worldwide is more important. In my opinion, all the human across this globe must get same level of opportunities and then they will build their wealth up to their efforts.

But, I am not ready to agree that gap in economic is not exceeding the tolerance limit; because we do have this same kind of situation for years and nothing major happened due to this. At the same time, rich are becoming richer and poor becomes more poorer. So, some initiative we must need right away.
111  Economy / Economics / Re: El Salvador Bitcoin payment option on: October 21, 2021, 11:02:14 PM
even though it has been legalized, bitcoin users are still minimal in elsalvador which is only half a million of the total 10 million population.
El Salvadorian population is still not up to 7 million people.

Chivo wallet users in El Salvador was estimated to more than 2.1 million last month, probably the recent bitcoin price uptrend would have encouraged more El Salvadorians to use it.
That is like 30%+ of the population is using Chivo or basically crypto right now, there could be some that uses something else maybe? I am not sure, if you are interested in crypto and there is something like that in your nation then you would have it, that is really a good thing. This is not even just the regular numbers neither, we are talking about literally the amount of people who are actively using it, so that should tell you something. I believe that we are in a situation where we should be getting a lot better results in the future, 3+ million is not a big dream, it should be done soon.

I believe that if they could make some profit from this crypto movements here and there, they could actually "tax" it with a tiny bit transaction fee, like 1 satoshi per movement, that should help right? That way they would increase their bitcoin holding a lot as well, 3 million people making at least 1 move? There will be even more people and we are going to be seeing a ton of increase in El Salvador bitcoin treasury.
112  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's new All Time High (ATH) has been reached this year again (X2) on: October 21, 2021, 09:40:15 PM
Reaching the new ATH means we are going to be basically doing something even bigger. Anytime bitcoin breaks the record and reaches a new high it doesn't stop there and keeps going up. I believe that the same thing will happen here as well. It is obvious that we are in a bull run right now, we are going to reach 70k for sure and the 100k price is not looking that unusual right now.

Obviously it is not going to be easy but I believe that we are going to basically be reaching that kind of level if we keep this up. People need to realize that they are not doing something that is normal right now, buying at these levels means that you are at the start of the bull run and will make a lot of profit for sure.
113  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Basic Types of Trading on: October 21, 2021, 08:38:54 PM
Actually, there are some other types of trading as some members here given information, right?
But for me, I only focus on Spot trading. Why? because I am not really good at analyzing the chart or doing technical analysis. I have tried doing trading in the future market, but I really couldn't and I will not risk my money more in the future market.
That is why I choose Spot trading because it is less risky than future
You do not even have to be that "smart" to be trading on spot trading which is why I love it as well. I mean you need to be smart and be good at math and all that if you are doing chart reading and trading constantly, but if you are not doing that, if you are only caring about the situation like "I buy it now, then I will be able to wait as long as I have to whenever there is a good increase" then you do not need much.

I have been doing it for years and I really need nothing to do that, I just do nothing when it drops (maybe buy some more) and then sell it when I am in profit, which I do not even sell for most cases, just ones that I want to get out. This is why I believe it is really great for people who do not want to deal with all of the hard work other trading methods bring in.
114  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitage trading on: October 21, 2021, 06:59:07 PM
I saw an opportunity to make a profit by arbitrage trading. The price difference in some exchanges seems like it could make a profit. I'm just thinking, not sure. does it could really make any difference because if any transaction takes more time then any trader will lose the initial money.
I saw many youtube videos saying that anyone could make money from this type of trading.
Making profits out of arbitrage opportunity is not limited to spotting gaps in prices levels across exchanges but lots of other factors are influencing it. Usually those price gap will disappear when you are taking time for moving funds from one exchange to another one. Still, some people are having solution for this by having funds on multiple exchanges so that they could buy and sell immediately to catch those price gap but practically that is not viable.

You must get continuous arbitrage opportunity so that you could profit from it. Just a short-term arbitrate opportunity may get you trapped in between.
115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 21, 2021, 03:58:04 PM
As in one of the above quote Manchester United has shown interest on buying an IPL team amongst the two from the auction scheduled on 25th October in Dubai, a day after the most expected India vs Pakistan match. As IPL has turned to be the popular league it hasn't left Glazer. It is also said the auction is postponed once after the interest of Manchester United. Now according to the terms and conditions teams can be bought by Indian firms, so now Manchester United will be on talks with Indian firms to own a team.
Is it? I am sorry I have not heard anything about this as I do check cricket related news on only very few websites and I guess those sites might have not covered this IPL auction and Manchester United news. I just wonder how big IPL has grown in decade of time.

Also, India is known for most complicated rules hence there will be no shocking on hearing about such a rule. Now, Manchester United will buy an IPL franchisee by partnering with an Indian firm? What would be the differences? If they want to take IPL into next level then they must work on removing such complications in my opinion.
116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Issue of fixed Matches on: October 20, 2021, 08:54:32 PM
Are fixed matches real? Do the coach and players of teams were matches have been fixed, do they consent to it? If you were in a team were your next fixture has been fixed, what will be your reaction?
Match fixing is illegal in my country hence I will eave off that team once I come know about the match fixing. Usually the highly talented team are the primary target for bookies to get them fixed for a huge money. So, next time if you come across an underdog is winning then money might have played a very big role. Shocking and surprises in sports industry is most common but unfortunately bookies exploit those similar salutations.

In my opinion, fixed matches are the real cancer in gambling industry hence I believe that we must stay from such matches.
117  Economy / Speculation / Re: Microsteel keeps buying into BTC on: October 20, 2021, 07:48:10 PM
Microstrategy bought +5050 more Bitcoin statistics, this company now owns a total of: 114,042 Bitcoins. When they continuously buy Bitcoin in stages will it cause BTC to break ATH again? What do you expect for BTC at the end of 2021?
For me i think Bitcoin will reach only 80,000 usd and about that Microstrategy that's own 114,042 Bitcoin i think they want to stock Bitcoin cause they see a lot of potential on it in the future, we can't blame them for doing that even me i will gonna stock some Bitcoin if i were them.
Not only them, many institutions have started accommodating bitcoin regularly so that they believe they could stand and compete against new challenges in funds and investments industry. It means, institutions have already realized about the potential of bitcoin which must be an enough factor to think about bitcoin to be reaching million-dollar levels in coming years.

I read somewhere that in next to 3 to 5 years of time almost all the institutions worldwide must be having bitcoin as part of their portfolio management. So, those who are all deciding fast might be accommodating the more number of bitcoins.
118  Economy / Speculation / Re: New all time high record | $66,000 on: October 20, 2021, 06:56:53 PM
Anyway, it was something quite unexpected and didn't actually believe that we'll see a new record by at least December. Let time do the work.
No, it is a highly expected one. Because in all the bull runs of bitcoin market, October month must be more exciting with strong bullish actions and this year is not an exception for that. I believe that we are not going to stop at the any nearby price levels but we are going to leap beyond $100k levels with this current bullish wave itself. There could be some short term pull backs but definitely no room for any more 50% kind of corrections until end of this year. So, get ready to have another new ATH for everyday here after until end of this year.
119  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much would you like to see Bitcoin priced in 2022? on: October 20, 2021, 06:24:50 PM
Do you think Bitcoin will touch the 1 million milestone in 2022? I think Bitcoin will cross 80 thousand dollars in 2022. What do you think?
Why there is a big gap in bitcoin price levels in your question itself? Lol Grin. I mean if bitcoin is able to touch 1 million dollars level in 2022 then I guess you must expect at least $100k levels in 2021 (do not worry about the short remaining days of 2021, just 1 or 2 weeks of time also more than enough for bitcoin markets to double).

Personally I believe, we are not going to have continuously bullish market in 2022 because bitcoin is following a 4 years long cycle; it means the current bull run may end up by end of this year. But, your expectation of touching $1 million milestone might be happening in next cycle of bitcoin bull market which might be happening by 2025.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why shiba inu not come 1$ on: October 20, 2021, 03:17:32 PM
Please explain, why shiba inu not come 1$ ? Total supply?
Yeah, with that kind of massive supply, you cannot expect it to be appreciating all the times. It may show you some pump at some time and then it will get dumped for sure. Even its circulating supply is on lower side now, we cannot expect its devs to be cashing out their early stash.

So, I am not even expecting it to be valuing anything around 1 cent also. We must need billionaires and strong believers to keep shiba inu prices to be sustaining and only after considerable time period of sustaining alone, we could expect it to get into $1 levels. Hence, as of now I guess just staying away will be a good decision.
