101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum 2.0 understanding on: December 28, 2019, 10:55:08 PM
there isn't a real information yet they aren't sure about this 32eth. but it wouldn't hurt if you have the amount though when its really you can simply join staking.
I recently found this link in the cointelegraph. Although the exact figures are unknown, the figures are as follows.
After switching to ETH 2.0,  the staking reward will be 4.6% to 10.3% per year: https://cointelegraph.com/news/ethereum-20-validators-to-earn-up-to-10-annually-for-staking-report

i thought it will just be like POS coin and totally change this POW coin to POS.  its disappointing to have heard its postponed so until its unsure, i look away from ETH and seek alternative to trade with for now. this is becoming controlled.
Yeah, they will switch from POW to POS.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is dead these days, what next in the market? STO? IEO? on: December 28, 2019, 10:34:53 PM
In the last 2 years ICO has gone upto peak level with many projects.
Now ICO market is completely gone because of 90% projects fallen into scam category.
Many startups made huge money and in return they pay nothing.
So whats new these days as a trusted token offering model?

ICO's funeral has already been finished, and now the IEO is going to have the same death scene. To me, they do not have many different sides, they are just options for making sales. At the beginning of the year when the market was in blood, Binance IEOs made great gains. Now, as it makes a great entrance, there will also be a great exit.
103  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crypto Exchange with the smallest credit card fee on: December 27, 2019, 10:46:07 PM
If I would like to buy btc on a credible exchange with my credit card (visa, mastercard..), which one would you suggest? so many different fees that is hard to calculate everything. Is there any stats which one would be the best option?
This link contains information on how much you will pay when you buy crypto from exchanges: https://www.coinparator.com/compare-exchanges/ Obviously, there are some differences in interest rates, but not much.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Read whitepaper, could you write a whitepaper in the future? on: December 27, 2019, 09:57:13 PM
Yes, you can look at different WPs to learn how to write, unless you plagiarize. More WP, more experience. Also, reading this guide can also accelerate the process of your future wishes.: https://cointelegraph.com/ico-101/what-is-a-white-paper-and-how-to-write-it
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My New Year Resolution For Bitcointalk on: December 27, 2019, 09:30:10 PM
I do not believe that Bitcointalk is going to do something to protect people. The major rule is decentralisation and anonymity and people are fine with it. They are not ready to sacrifice decentralisation for safety.
If forum was like you said, noone would interfere with anything, including scamming, ponzi schemes, thieves and so on. And I think most of us do not want it.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please Help! on: December 27, 2019, 09:06:48 PM

What happens if I send Bitcoin Cash to a Bitcoin address?
At this time, Coinbase has already credited accounts who received any BCH at their existing BTC addresses. Going forward, we cannot guarantee that funds will be properly credited when one asset is sent to the address of a different asset. Please make sure that you only send funds to the specific deposit address displayed in your Coinbase account for the asset you are sending. You can view a list of these addresses, or create a new one, by visiting this page.

If you have sent BCH to an external address that was used only for BTC, you will need to obtain the private keys for that address and import them into a BCH wallet in order to access the funds stored there. Coinbase does not support the importing of private keys.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10 Best performing cryptos of 2019,what have you played? on: December 27, 2019, 01:40:34 AM
Since the start of 2019, the crypto market has been on the receiving end of an insane amount of financial volatility.Recently the media listed some cryptocurrencies that have maintained a good financial status throughout the year, but not named Bitcoin.

They are ETH, EOS, BNB, BFT, XTZ, XNX, BCH, ATOM, LTC, BAT.

Do you agree this list or any other additions? Smiley

LTC and BNB price has increased this year a lot. But the increase in ETH was not more than 3x. Anyway, did not the BTC increase from $3000 to $14000 this year? While the 4.5x increase was greater than the increase in ETH, why did not they include it on the list? The change I would like to make would be to add BTC to the top of that list.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi - decentralized finance on: December 27, 2019, 01:17:04 AM
Obviously I am not interested in p2p financial systems like this. But the subject you mentioned at the end is intriguing to me. Is the amount you give them as a collateral is calculated with the value in USD? So if you keep the $1000 ETH in your wallet, will not you earn more? Moreover, there is always a greater chance that such systems are scam. That is why, whatever you do, always consider your safety as the most important factor.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of Coins that will start Staking features in 2020 on: December 27, 2019, 12:32:17 AM
And please do you know what will be the staking reward? I know that Cardano will give 3-4% profit per year. But what about Ethereum or Matic.
With the recent Matic dump I am thinking about buying it for future´s profit.  Grin
After switching to ETH 2.0,  the staking reward will be 4.6% to 10.3% per year: https://cointelegraph.com/news/ethereum-20-validators-to-earn-up-to-10-annually-for-staking-report
For Matic, this numbers will change from 5% to 40% within 5 years: https://blog.matic.network/matic-network-staking-economics/

How can I find my Bitcoin cash that I accidentally sent to a Bitcoin address through Coinbase? The transaction shows completed, but it never got there.
I am sorry, but it is almost impossible to get the fund back because the wallet belongs to exchange. AFAIK, it will be possible to send back coins through private keys, but it is impossible for you to reach the private key.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MATIC LOW PRICE AND THE BEST CHOICE TO BUY NOW on: December 26, 2019, 12:28:29 AM
hello everyone a big panic sell on matic on binance will it recover that mean x4 soon check my dear friends
sorry i know nothing about this token and with that i never risk my money for something i don't really understand.

but regards to some posts it seems that Matic has a future ahead ,but still i will choose to stay on my holdings because my folio is solid set and only waiting for the bullrun to come.
It was said that the reason for the price drop was due to the team's massive sales after pumping the price. I have never been interested in the outcome of this claim, but it is still better to stay away from the project, which changes 70% in a few hours. At least until the reason was explained, because the devs also claimed that the fall was not caused by them and that the traders caused it.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS Total Supply? on: December 26, 2019, 12:03:45 AM

in EOS, there are three types of supply:
circulating supply: total number of tokens that are circulating in the market and are available to be traded or used.
total supply: total number of tokens that have been created.
max supply: total number of tokens that can ever be created.
For more you can check this: EOS token supply explained: what’s the difference between circulating supply, total supply and max supply?

113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest crypto fraud of all time on: December 25, 2019, 11:45:36 PM
bitconnect is one of the biggest projects that came out in 2017, many people took the opportunity from the project, those who joined at the beginning might benefit, but there were many losses due to joining at the end.
news from my country many people who stopped working and joined bitconect, of course this is very sad hopefully projects like this will not happen again.
The end of a project in which limited supply and unlimited demand combine is always the same. Projects such as Bitconnect, Plustoken, and so on, can not survive until the end. Those who add value to such projects fall into the trap of earnings, and so there is much loss. Although decentralization has its positive aspects, it also has some negative aspects. You should check ground several times before you take every step.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Sinking ship or Sleeping Giant? on: December 25, 2019, 11:25:58 PM
Not a sleeping giant because its already pump so many times, and this dump is just a part of their progress. The top altcoins will not give up from reaching another peak and I believe ETH will bounce back next year and we will see ATH again. ETH will always be a good coin, a coin where you can get more profit and more usage.
Although I can not say anything about time, IMO ETH is one of the most important and successful projects that we all need. Yes, it is clear that news about Vitalik's recent sale of 30k and delaying of 2.0 has an impact on ETH negatively. But, the market needs it, I do not know better than ETH, which is suitable for second place. So be sure that the price will increase at the first opportunity and when the 2.0 update is over we will all see the price boom together.

I agree with @CryptopreneurBrainboss and @Rengga Jati opinions. Abiky's contributions to altcoin discussion are always appreciated. It is like he is always trying to be the most useful for us. It would be more accurate to share his profile link, but the rule is rule: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5210458.msg53372327#msg53372327
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Points Why Crypto Future Will Be Totally Unstoppable on: December 24, 2019, 10:11:24 PM
2019 is finally coming to an end, i can't help but keep thinking that huge money will flow into crypto world soon, here are few reasons to back my claim

1. Banks are very slow in their reaction towards virtual currencies yet by now over 70% of central banks around the world are looking into crypto.

2. Major changes will surely rise because bigger transnational organizations are showing interest in crypto.

3. China is really leading the way with their upcoming owned central bank digital currency (CBDC) which will be the first of its kind.

4. To add to this list of mine i read somewhere that Mark Zuckerberg is pointing out to China as the reasons why U.S should act quickly in regard to crypto, he personally believes that U.S needs to see more progress with cryptocurrencies.

Honestly i believe Libra is supposed to bring a new huge changes to the world of international transactions but who can predict what will happen about Libra? Because Bitcoin is still the mother of all cryptocurrencies and Libra still relies on fiat currencies as underlying assets. Bitcoin is decentralized and other crypto assets with their own use cases and purposes will likely keep existing side by side of bitcoin. Wrong? Or Right? Drop me your points
It is impossible for the current monetary system to keep pace with the current development. Even if they do not want, they will be obliged to install a faster, more secure payment system, so cryptocurrencies. We can come to this conclusion even without arguing about Libra.

Ofcourse crypto future unstoppable, because government and so in cant track currencies
There are several privacy coins that governments can not track. Apart from that, the others can be track at any time by anyone.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins getting delisted on: December 24, 2019, 09:45:25 PM
Hi guys i read on the news that major few exchanges are delisting some altcoins that falls to keep up due to present bear market, for example poloniex exchange is delisting Omni and primecoin and others, what do you have to share about this?
Exchanges always make such updates because of low volume or other reasons. Otherwise, I do not think they give up their profits.

Some are saying its good to invest in old coins now few old coins are dying, I believe they've met the end of their roadmap, no more excitement about them, this is why i still feels that newer coins will take the bigger advantage of future greenish market, what do you think?
Top old altcoins have also been able to survive for a long time. And there are new ones that do not even have the enough volume to be listed in the CMC. So, try investing in coins that are now alive and capable of fighting to survive in the future.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for the low to buy more Litecoins on: December 24, 2019, 09:25:39 PM
To be honest, I do not quite understand the purpose of this topic. The author wants to know the opinions of members of the forum or shares his idea and offers the option of entering in coin !? As for the price - Litecoin below $ 30 dollars will be a good investment (medium term).
I think so, @OP has created this thread to learn the thoughts of other forum members.
Back to the point, if the price of LTC is below $30, it will be one of the best options to invest. But, in the present situation. Because if LTC is back to $20 due to the "deterioration" of the market situation, then there will be other better options. On the other hand, there is no reason for LTC to drop by 30%.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Much Worth of Projects IEO's listing in Exchanges? on: December 24, 2019, 09:07:53 PM
I Would like to ask about some Exchange where some project's IEO are running, How Much worth of those Project that are Listed for IEO in these Exchange.(Latokens,Exmarkets,P2P2B2B,Sistemkoin,ProBit)
Check out p2pb2b and Latoken, there are dozens of IEOs. So why not the others? Because these ones are the cheapest ones. It is very difficult to gather information about how much their listing prices are. Apparently, they make agreements with the projects they have agreed on. So, exchange itself is the source of the most accurate information, try to contact them.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Much WOW?!?! on: December 24, 2019, 08:44:52 PM
I've recently read where the beginning of the New Year will also bring an Ethereum Hard Fork which will in turn increase inflation by a monumental 20%!!! What in terms of price and overall well being of Ether and it's future will this decision make? Any thoughts, comments and speculations are as usual, more than welcome. Thanks and a Happy Holidays.
I do not think hardfork will cause inflation. Few weeks ago ETH had Istanbul hardfork which was successful, also there will be 2.0, and none of them can cause inflation. If you mention last price drop, its also not related to hadfork. The market was the more thematic in recent fall. I may be wrong, if so, correct me. I have not heard anything about inflation related to hardfork.
