101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think? on: December 18, 2019, 02:48:33 PM
I think bitcoin will lose even more to the current trend. things may not improve until 2020. I don't really trust the current market. do you believe

It's okay for bitcoin to reach it's low this year before the recovery next year and do a bull run, the whales are going to buy the cheap version of bitcoin and aiming for hundreds percent profit when they sold it. It might be the best thing to do right now to buy as much as we can because bitcoin is really promising in the upcoming year
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $100 million worth of ETH? on: December 18, 2019, 01:10:06 PM
Since you said that the market is now more matured, I do think that the next bull run of this market will be bigger than ever. Why? Because other than the mature of investors, the tech side of this space is now more matured as well, no surprise that more and more traditional big companies want to enter this field. Besides, I also see that some excellent blockchain projects appear since 2017 with dedicated team and innovative idea, not only-whitepaper projects anymore. The strong projects always know what they need to do at this sensitive time which is building, this is not the time to only talk about token price, and when everybody realize the real potential and the mature of this technology, that is the time the BIGGEST FOMO will comes.

Yeah the real value of cryptocurrency is not showing up yet, people are still comfort in their zone doing trading everyday with some little profits. When they realize they're buying and selling a thing that really valuable in the future i'm sure they will just buy more and more to collect as much as possible good cryptocurrency which will boom in the upcoming years.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Potential ETH Prices in December the Lowest 98$ and the Highest 222$ on: December 17, 2019, 03:30:48 PM
I think the prediction is good but I think the key level resistance for ETH is more than 170$ as we have seen lots of ups and downs at that point and also a key level to break if its start pumping from where it is right now.

Price always declined due to btc price drops and it's almost impossible for ETH to reach 170$ this year, and from the charts i see the drops is not over yet. It might be drop under 100$ this year before it recover next year. We hope the upcoming events from ETH could pump it's price to survive in cryptocurrency next year.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10.000 Euro longterm (2-3 years) - in what 2 altcoins should i invest? on: December 17, 2019, 02:02:19 PM
Hello,

if i had 10.000 Euro, in which 2 altcoins would you invest longterm (for the next 2-3 years)?

I thought about investing 5.000 Euro in Ethereum and 5.000 Euro in Iota, or do you find two other coins more reasonable?

I would all in for ethereum if i had those money and planning to invest for more than 2 years. Their plan for future cryptocurrency is really nice and the coin is growing every year, although the price is not so good right now but the product is developing, even they will have a revolution 2.0 next year. So i think it's really recommended to buy for a long run
105  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Safety first before trading on: December 17, 2019, 08:51:20 AM
There's a lot of topics, news, trading and more that related with scam or hack still i think if your knowledgeable about where you risk then you will not experience like that so i recommend to study or search before doing trading here in crypto world then there's a lot of ways to avoid that like save or hold your btc, alts, tokens in your trusted wallets,Moreover read the news below because you can learn a lot by this like how to trade safely

https://cointelegraph.com/news/4-things-you-must-know-before-trading-bitcoin-and-cryptocurrency/amp

5. Don't be greedy.
Don't get tricked by any investation's ads that offer so much profits in a short time, it might be a ponzi scheme and if you're not lucky enough you will lost all your investment. So we better to learn step by step the trading fundamentals and get experienced in trading.
106  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Options is a bit overwhelming for me. Any Suggestions to make it easier? on: December 17, 2019, 01:40:16 AM
I myself am not too fond of trading options, I am more comfortable using manual trading, You should first learn the types of trading, Are you really sure you want to use trading options, if you want to learn my advice learn with video tutorials because it's easier to understand.

Trading options is not an option for newbie traders, it's harder to handle the chart and the profits would not easy to get. As a newbie we should try normal trading on exchanges with low capital first, and read people chart analysis from tradingview and do trading by ourself to get experienced
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Useless projects! on: December 16, 2019, 11:17:39 PM
Hello, I would like to know which projects have really achieved their goals after an ICO/IEO/ITO. Is there a page or statistics about it?

You could go to icobench.com for me it's the best new projects benchmarking websites, it's very clear to see and it's almost cover all of the projects. Icobench rating is one of the factor that i see when i'm analyzing a project
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To bounty hunters & investors on: December 16, 2019, 02:08:41 PM
Good IEOs do not need bounty hunters and ICOs that require bounty hunters help are in most cases useless projects with worthless tokens, so at the end we promote in most cases low quality projects.  Cry

Not like that, there was a lot of good projects that have bounties on it, just lately crypto investors are not interested with cryptocurrency even great projects IEO in binance experienced a big drop lately. Cryptocurrency needs something fresh to hook the investors back again, new innovation or new system or something like that which can attract more investors.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How about investing into altcoins? on: December 16, 2019, 08:22:07 AM
Bitcoin is the main focus because not many altcoins have impressed investors. There was much hype for projects like cardano, stellar but they never take off. With time investors are getting the feeling that Bitcoin is the only coin in which investment can be made with some confidence.

Of course, people will always choose Bitcoin as the first priority, so they will manage to get some Bitcoin when the market is in a downtrend. Cardano, Stellar is developing a project which will take some time to increase their price not like other Hype coins in the market.

Investors are assuming altcoin is not having a good future right now, i lately never show altcoin with a decent grow, even it's growing it's just for a while before it down again. So i think investors are just buying altcoin for trading and aiming for quick profits instead of holding the altcoins in case of supporting the development of the coins itself.
110  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Profitability of Trading Bots on: December 16, 2019, 06:30:14 AM
I am curious if people have had success with trading bots in cryptocurrency.

I have recently set up a bot and have been astounded by the operability of it. It's actually working lol.
Well, if you have also had luck or interesting experiences with trading bots let me know =]. Cheers

Trading bot are varies and their performance based on the algorithm that created by the creators. There are many different condition on the market and it's always dynamic so i think it's impossible for a person created all condition in the market to the bot's algorithm. So i think the win rate of the bots is also based on the market condition and the luck of the users
111  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie looking for some strategic advice on: December 15, 2019, 11:57:13 PM
Honestly it is hard to give an advice because I won't consider myself as professinal trader. But I will share to you my kind of activity. At first I was only performed short term trading from a small capital to avoid huge loss because that time I am only studying about the trading flow and once you already learn about short term trading it is the time that you can step up to the long term trading. Just always remeber that too much greed will drives you going to loss.

I will add little things about short time trading that i know and i did. Before you enter a trade, you must determined your entry point and your sell point first and don't get distract with any pump and dump condition , as long as your entry and sell point already achieved don't be greed. And don't afraid to have a stop loss, it's better to loss a bit rather than you hold your money too long in a trade.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto/Blockchain hype over? on: December 15, 2019, 02:30:51 PM
With ever-declining prices on the crypto market since 2018, there has been a decline in the number of ICOs and the emergence of new crypto projects within the mainstream world. 2017 was believed to be the golden year of crypto and Blockchain technology as people invested massively across the market. Crypto startups, companies, and businesses have been largely successful since then. Due to the hype, we've seen many projects come up with a Blockchain solution for nearly anything in life. But the truth is that Blockchain is not needed for absolutely everything.

It's today, and there seems to be a decline in crypto interest among people in the mainstream world. The number of crypto startups and companies have been reduced too. Does this mean that the crypto/Blockchain hype is finally over? Or is it still going on?

What are your thoughts? Huh

I think Crypto/Blockchain hype is not yet over.  The market is just relaxing a bit due to the excessive hype last 2017.  Once it bottom and new entries of great project and ideas regarding blockchain tech comes in, we can see another rallies of hype on the market.  We just need to wait a bit and see this hype happening when these so called new sets of ideas comes in.

Yeah it's just on sideway and calm condition, i'm sure there will be a time that people are hype again with cryptocurrency and the best thing to right now is preparing for that time by buying as much as we can while the price is still cheap.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is for you scam project and what is for you good project? on: December 15, 2019, 12:17:19 PM
Guys we are talking a lot of times about "this project is scam" or "this project is amazing and soon moon" but sometimes scam project making a lot of x but amazing project making -90%. So what is for you good project? Which team and project is fake but making xx or team and project real but price making -90% and we should hold?

Scam projects is when the team are have no any idea when the investors candidate asking about the projects related questions.
If the projects is well prepared and don't have any intention for scamming they must be capable to answer any question realted to projects. So i think this thing is a core thing of choosing which project to involve
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's your Bitcoin cash price prediction on: December 15, 2019, 10:37:46 AM
I don't think that will affect the Bitcoin spike. then where can you get this news? is there a news link that I can read? because I doubt the telegram bot made by the BCH development team. I mean maybe it's another project that uses BCH for tips.
other than this, are you writing wrong? I don't think bitcoin in the next year will reach $ 4000. it will be more than $ 10K.

Hmmm no one knows which bitcoin's price will go it could be go more than 10k but it also could go under 5k. But i think it's hard for bitcoin to reach 10k before the halving because nothing special from bitcoin but if the price really happen to 10k there must be something that make it happen either it's an events or a whales movement
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Altcoins do it alone ? on: December 14, 2019, 03:41:48 PM
this is hard for altcoins to be alone in the market and solely not depend on Bitcoin price
when bitcoin retrace, altcoins retraced even more.
It is hard but I guess not impossible. should be a huge project or partnerships and event basis I guess.

Which altcoin do you mean, every altcoin has it's own growth. I mean there are many altcoin that has more than 10% only in just less than 24 hours, that means altcoin is not always following bitcoin price but there are so many altcoin that has it's own community and market segmentation because cryptocurrency is so wide right now, we cannot associate any altcoins with bitcoin.
116  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to $5k? Tone Vays on: December 14, 2019, 02:35:42 PM
It's very likely that we'll see a big drop. In my opinion, if Bitcoin stays in the bear channel where it's been in for like the last 4 months, we should see a correction to $5,000 or $4,500 since it's such a psychological barrier.
I'm not so sure though. Many people had their target set at a recovery to +$10k levels and they were wrong, and badly so. Currently people target the $5k level and I think they will be wrong again.

I however don't see why $4.5k is such a psychological barrier? It would have made sense to say $7k, $6k but there is not much about $4.5k that makes it relevant. If we drop below $5k sub $4k is the next logical target.

I becomes more sure that market is controlled by group of whales because those whales are seeing people prediction on the internet, They will look at the most analysis are targeting which price and then they will make it the opposite. This is only my personal speculation based on what happened on the field.
117  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you ever trade at work? on: December 14, 2019, 01:06:37 PM
Do you ever trade at work or trade on your work computer? Any reason why you think this might be a terrible idea?

Yes i did, nothing to emberassed because it's usual thing to doing trades whatever our job is in this era. But i usually change my connection to my personal connection for safety purpose but my collega are knowing that i'm trading at work
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Expectations for year 2020 on: December 14, 2019, 09:13:57 AM
So many expectation coming from different investors or even from analyst. But for I expect for another bullrun for bitcoin. All we know that all of us are hoping for the next bullrun. As a bitcoin holder I am expecting that I will earn more because bitcoin and other coin  will rise again in the year 2020.

Based on the previous bitcoin block halving, of course everyone is hoping that after the 2020 scheduled event, we will see the price goes into another meteoric rise, most likely year or two after the block halving. So I'm not expecting a huge rally in 2020, probably just a good bounce back so there's no all time highs. But 2021 will be different though, we might see some signs of the 2017 cycle again that could put the price of all crypto in ATH. So stay tune in.

The cylce is always like a year after halving price will going up. Just like the halving before which held in 2016 the price looks calm down right after the halving but the next year the price is going crazy, but it also affected by many events and the crypto hype that the media made in 2017 , every countries are banning bitcoin but the price is going crazy because people are having so much demand on it.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchanges that offers staking service on: December 14, 2019, 07:16:45 AM
Here are information about exchanges that offers rewards through staking and name of the coins that they support on their platforms

1. HUOBI WALLET: ATOM, ONT, IOST, LOOM, IRIS, IOTX.

2. KUCOIN: TEZOS, ATOM, IOST, LOOM, EOS, VSYS, TRON, ELA, EOSC, IOTX, LOKI, NEBL, ENERGI, TOMO, NULS, WAN, PIVX, ONION.

3. BINANCE: VET, XLM, TEZOS, ATOM, ONT, TRON, STRATIS, QTUM, ONE, NEO, KMD, ELROND, FET, ALGO

4. GATE: TEZOS, ATOM, ONT, EOS, VET, TRX, SERO, NAS, ALGO

5. OKEX: TEZOS, ATOM, IOST, CRO, EOS, VSYS, YOU

6. BIBOX: BTM, ATOM, IRIS

7. COINBASE: TEZOS

8. BITMAX: ALGO

9. KRAKEN: TEZOS

As you can see all these staking are from top exchanges, my advice is to stay away from low rated exchanges that offers staking service, very soon they will claim to offer same service as well, if you have something else to add on the list pls do

Yobit is also serves a staking services long time ago but the exchange fame and credibility is not good so people are not trusting the exchange. But right now i think yobit is building the community again from the beginning and the volume is increasing each day which will be great for the future and people can forget the past
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How about investing into altcoins? on: December 13, 2019, 04:42:31 PM
We are more focused on bitcoin than ever as most of the users wants to invest into bitcoin assuming a bull run post halving but nit many are planning to invest into altcoins, I think we need to focus on altcoins as well as there are coins like Tron, ADA and all which can pump anytime and priced extremely less as of now and even if bitcoin pumps it will have positive affect on altcoins as well so I think we should invest into reputed altcoins as well.

it would be better if we could combine the investments we made in several coins which we believe can grow in value in the future. because some potential altcoins are still widely used as investment assets such as bitcoin which looks promising so it is trusted by many people to be used as a long-term investment.
Long term investing is not going to increase the investor confidence during bear market which can take years. Some altcoins have a better risk/reward ratio compared to investing in the Bitcoin. The potential reward is low in BTC but this type of investment is in low risky class.

Most of crypto investors are looking for quick profits. Very little investors are hunting for long term investment because their predecessor are making quick money from ponzi scheme so those people who get rich by ponzi scheme is their reference for entering cryptocurrency
