101  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: January 30, 2018, 01:19:57 PM
Poverty is way too complicated and could not be solved by a single entity. Education is one key component. Reducing income inequality is the goal. I think if bitcoin is only centralized in the rich who are rich before, then poverty wouldn't be solved.

But bitcoin is for every one not only in those people who are rich, so even poor people can earn bitcoin and their have opportunity to be rich especially  if we use it for investment.

Bitcoin is a digital currency, a good investment or an asset. Poor people also has their own rights to earn their money as long as they are not against the rules but investing in these expensive digital currency can be a impossible for them. It is not like that I am ridiculing them, I am saying it since most of them are busy finding a way to eat or live rather than finding something that can give them profit.
102  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: January 30, 2018, 10:39:18 AM
I think that the whole market will become more and more regulated.
That has already started with the identification steps at the exchanges.
Other things will follow, maybe it will hit the ICOs or new currencies in general.
But this is not necessarily a bad thing. A more regulated market might have a safer impression to newcomers.
Maybe through that the crypto currencies can even grow more.
of course, the state will regulate ico because they need to receive income from this, too. but how will they regulate the block technology? it's impossible.

They do not need to regulate the blockchain technology, what they just need is to talk about it with the "most knowledgeable group", agree on one thing and regulate digital currencies. There are some countries that regulate bitcoin so I dont think that it is impossible. If they ban bitcoin then we cant blame them, they want it but still people there can still invest on it.
103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Friendly countries on: January 30, 2018, 08:33:10 AM
Japan is friendly to bitcoin, but China is beginning to limit it. No wonder China is falling behind.
Actually, the Chinese government does not have a ban on bitcoin in its entirety and there are still ways to trade bitcoin privately, but I also think that China is inferior to Japan in accepting new things.

In terms of economy, China will not let them selves fall back to other countries like Japan. Japan ia the first one to legalize bitcoin but China has the most bitcoin mkners in the world so I dont see them getting behind here. As far as I know, the ban is only the usage of bitcoin in their country. They can still use and trade it online.
104  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin really secure on: January 29, 2018, 06:45:32 PM
Do you think so? Because I started to hear about hacked everywhere which is really insecure for us.

The one hacked is a digital currency exchange and not one's wallet. I will be worried of someone's wallet was hacked even though he/she is taking care of his/her wallet but if that is an exchange, well, it happens. This is the reason why a lot of people said that you must keep your digital currencies yourself and not on these exchanges.

And the number is not small, more than a million if you convert it.

And did that cause any panic to use Bitcoin Holders? No, the currency stolen was NEM an altcoin though that price is not a joke.

And they are not hack for some people like us who is really depends on a little bit profit from trading, most of the hacker always aim big bait which can really harm us.

Because Exchanges are not really that secure like our wallets.
105  Economy / Economics / Re: With Hackers everywhere, How safe is Cryptocurrency? on: January 29, 2018, 03:29:02 PM
Its no longer news that an ICO in Japan has lost over $400 million to hackers. They promised to pay back investors who invested in their ICO. Thsi is a huge loss. After I read that news, I began to wonder. How safe is Bitcoin and Other altcoins? What measures should we take to avoid being hacked ?

I always think that ICOs are not the same as bitcoin or any other digital currency. ICOs are still on it's way from being a valuable digital currency, if they have been hacked, then the one on fault is not the people or users but the developers itself. Bitcoin and other digital currencies are still safe as it is on the past, did you heard anything about bitcoin or other digital currencies directly hacked? no, the most hacked are not wallets or digital currencies itself but exchanges and ICOs.
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Really End World Poverty? on: January 29, 2018, 02:45:42 PM
Can bitcoin really do anything to solve world poverty problem? Brian Singer certainly think so. He thinks that Bitcoin can bring minimum everyday earning for people more swiftly than any other economy system.

Is it possible?

http://www.forbes.com/sites/steveforbes/2015/04/02/how-bitcoin-will-end-world-poverty/

I think bitcoins will help the poor middle classmen only and not help eliminate poverty nor barely scratch it. Ideally, those who can only acquire bitcoins are the one who has internet connections and are educated well as well. If poverty-stricken individuals are to try to get a hold of bitcoins, they will have a hard time to do so since it needs an internet connection.

Bitcoin is just a digital currency and it is only used for transaction, payment and some loan services but I don't think that it will be of help in terms of ending or killing the most problem that every country has, poverty. Poverty is lack of material and money, that is the thing you always need. And if you are a poor one, do you think you can still have a bitcoin? You do not have any thing even money and do you think you will be having an idea of thinking to trade? No, the first thing you will think in that situation is how you will be able to eat and survive another day of your life.
107  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin price continue to go down? on: January 29, 2018, 02:07:46 PM
i think it's on sideway position which is will swing for around 11k to 12k, we hope the storm is end and will hit 15k soon

I just hope too. I've been holding my bitcoin for some time now and I want to use it for something but the thing here is that the price is still at the low point and I am waiting for it to be either on $12K or $13K on price. They are saying the price will be swinging on summer which is still months away, I can't wait for that to happen I am waiting for it since the time it reaches $20K since I knew that it will not stay in there for long.
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: future of Bitcoin In this world? on: January 29, 2018, 01:19:25 PM
Bitcoin is king of crytocurrencies, I think bitcoin future is so bright and long as a cryptocurrency. I think bitcoin can lead a rule as a currency in a future.

For me, it is not really a king or the one reigning in the terms of being a digital currency. Bitcoin is the first digital currency, and being the first one means that it is the origin of them all. As the first one, it really needs a place in the future. Who would not want a payment like a credit card and money at the same thing right? It just needs some improvement and some upgrades in order for people to use it efficiently.
109  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the biggest changes in your life caused by Bitcoin? on: January 29, 2018, 12:24:43 PM
Many of us here are hoping to be successful miners/campaigners or anything realated to BTCitcoin. Some people succeed many people failed. With that said, what are the biggest changes in your life since you started bitcoin? I hope these will inspire other people so that we too can be successful. Thank you very much!

It is not that big. Eversince I got my job, I started to think if I can do other stuffs that I can enjoy but at the same time I can earn money from it. That time my new friends from work ask me if I knew bitcoin, I immediately asked them to tell me about this digital currency that made a lot of people millionaire and yeah, I am earning some coins here that I save for trading later on and I can save money better than ever.
The reality of Bitcoin makes it possible to earn very well today and improve your financial well-being. But I noticed one regularity, the more you earn, the more demands you make.

Well, that is the effect when you don't have enough money and then just suddenly you earn much that you have enough to buy anything you need and you want. But for these digital currencies, we can't just spend them so carelessly since they are pumping and gaining more popularity in time. So we need to spend them wisely and carefully.
110  Economy / Economics / Re: How much money do you have left from your job? on: January 28, 2018, 05:50:37 PM
I get p521.00 daily
P15.630 monthly  - deduction  for the government benefits like sss/pagibig/life insurance
No savings because of small salary

Those taxes really cut off your salary but as far as I know there are new regulation in terms of income tax as the President, Rodrigo Duterte signed a new law. For now I can save almost quarter of what I am getting from my salaries, I am earning some money here even though it is not that much, I can still use it to buy things rather than using my salary that I can save for future's use.

112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why not compare Bitcoin with money? on: January 28, 2018, 04:12:19 PM
I think bitcoin is a very popular online asset, but paper money has become one of the official means of payment that has been recognized by the government and the state. While bitcoin, currently only recognized by some countries only

It is really popular if it is not then I don't think that it will be the most expensive one right? Bitcoin is also recognized by a lot of country now, in fact some of those countries regulated bitcoin and some of them already banned bitcoin. Bitcoin will stay as a volatile and risky asset, in the future many may accept it as a way of payment but I doubt it in these days since it is pretty volatile.
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: January 28, 2018, 03:35:59 PM
The possibility. Bitcoin has only it's future ahead of it and it can be wildly successful, I hope it is. I hope it's able to be a safe alternative for people. I hope it's able to keep some bad practices in control. Competition is a good thing and competition among currencies in a country doesn't exist.
What is special and is an important reason why bitcoin becomes popular, is that it can move extremely fast and completely anonymous.
In addition, users can use bitcoin to send money to others like sending a computer file anywhere without the cost of services, and no cost for services.

I like the speed of bitcoin. If I use bank wire or moneygram or westernunion, it takes more time than bitcoin transfers. Bitcoin is very fast and this is making it amazing once again.

I do not how it is fast in terms of transactions since there are some times where I transact bitcoin but still can receive it after some time unless you pay the miner's fee beautifully. I think the best thing about bitcoin now is that it is now on dip so when you invest on it, there is a high possibility of you getting a good profit when the bitcoin price pumps.
114  Economy / Economics / Re: Can cryptocurrencies make physical money disappear? on: January 28, 2018, 02:00:30 PM
As we can see the cryptocurrencies are still being established in the knowledge, socialization and full utilization of humanity, could the cryptocurrencies cause the use of physical money to be eliminated, is this possible?

And what may be the reason for this?

Digital currencies are great since they are giving us good profit from using it to trade to using it as an investment but I think it will only stop there. Digital currencies are still not that fully accepted by the world and in fact, there are countries that are banning bitcoin because of the threat of it. A volatile asset will never replace a physical money since we are just earning some digital currency for us to have a physical money.
115  Economy / Economics / Re: Imagine that economy that we know it today is not needed.... on: January 28, 2018, 12:26:03 PM
I seems not to understand you, but if you mean an economy where by no personal profit or government is been involved or neither will there be a need to be involved in citizens life. I don't think a life like that will ever exit. Even in the ages of caveman the economy we practice today is same as it was then but the only thing that makes it different then is the way it is been practice. I think the only thing that might not exit is greediness.

That is not quite accurate. Cavemans is just the bunch of people who sleeps on caves, hunts food to eat and then go back to their cave, they do not know what economy is or even gaining something by working. All they know is they will survive and that only matters. Economy started when people knew agriculture and then they also start to build some infrastructure that can give them good benefits.
116  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this the end for bitcoins ? on: January 23, 2018, 01:08:10 PM
I think that the bitcoin has not completely exhausted itself, and will grow, but for such sweats it takes a lot of time

Is not the moment to jst Hodl and wait. It is the moment to be active in the community and demand that bitcoin is again a tool for regular value exchange instead of an speculative nonsense.

What are you saying? He is not even speculating and in fact that is what's happening these days. Bitcoin is not having a good price movement and it is falling down. I've thought that it will still reach at least $15K but it did not. I think bitcoin will be having it's time to go back to it's former 4 digit price and just get back after some time, well, it is always happening.
117  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holding will be a risk or not?? on: January 23, 2018, 11:10:52 AM
yes its so risk because many people when the bitcoin is dump they sell their bitcoins and the price will dump and dump so it is so risk to hold your bitcoin

Holding of digital currencies are really risky since most of them are really volatile. I think all of the people that will be investing to digital currencies should know this stuff, they should know the risk that they will be getting from holding such a volatile asset unless that person is a used in trading and have a huge knowledge in that field also.
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Question for all on: January 23, 2018, 10:16:25 AM
We have all read stories of coins being sent to wrong addresses (typos or badly copy and pastes)

What would you do if 100 Btc landed into your account? (unfortunately this has not happened to me yet)

If that will happen I think I will be surprised and so happy at first since that is the first time I've seen a huge amount of bitcoin in my bitcoin wallet, I'll never think that it is a wrong sent bitcoin since it is not possible to mess the address up with that number of bitcoins. If the owner contacted me, yeah, I will be taking it back, but if not, I guess it is mine now.
119  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoin on: January 23, 2018, 06:55:03 AM
I’m newbie here... What’s the best way to earn Bitcoin? I need assistance please. Thank you.

For me i think the best way to earn bitcoin is join in signature campaign or social media campaign.  And this is what i do know.

This forum is quite popular with that kind of earning your first digital currencies. With that way not only Bitcoin is the one you can earn, there is a lot of other digital currencies you can earn here especially joining Bounty Campaigns of ICOs. You can even sell some things here in exchange of a fair amount of bitcoin, and if you have skills you can use that to earn some numbers.
120  Economy / Economics / Re: Imagine Bitcoin recognized around the world. on: January 23, 2018, 04:49:53 AM
If bitcoin will recognized or legalized at one country, other country might be search if what are the good benifits of bitcoin that can  contribute in community,in that way theres a posibility that they  will legalized also bitcoin in their country.

I think digital currencies are quite popular now that a lot of people in every country knows what it is and I think the government fully knows what it is and don't need any explanation about it. Digital currencies are good but as an investment, an asset but not a currency that is used and accepted in a country since it is really volatile and may affect the economy of the country. If digital currencies are banned in a country, they have their own good reasons about it, we don't need to be so salty about it.
